Sorry for a struts question

Currently I have a list of objects in a hashtable
In the JSp I itereate over them using struts taglib and display the appropriate content. The problem is with checkboxes that I need to display. I am unable to get the right value for the checkboxes even if everything is indexed during the iteration. I donot know how to rest a checkbox field in the ActionForms reset() method which resides in a hashtable holding a list of objects
e.g
myHashtable[3]
|------------> ob[0] -> chcekbox field
|------------> ob[1] -> chcekbox field
|------------> ob[2] -> chcekbox field
a similar structure

1.jsp
<logic:iterate name="MyForm" id="hashtable"
               property="hashCollection">
<td>
<html:checkbox name="hashtable" property="myCheckBox" indexed="true" value="true"/>
</td>
</logic:iterate>
2. ActionForm(MyForm)
private Hashtable hashtable;
public Object getHashtable(int index)
return this.hashtable.values().toArray()[index];
public Collection getHashCollection()
return hashtable.values();
hashtable is a collection of objects of which myCheckBox is an element
Now even if I select the checkbox on Jsp , it never really sets the actual value in the object. Any possible solutions or workarounds?

    I can not export photos onto DVD. After I click export, close iPhoto, click Finder, At this point I can't find the file to burn. (copy to be used on Windows) Sorry for the lame question....new to mac

    So it sounds like you are trying to burn a DVD with photos on it so the photos can be either transferred to or displayed on a Windows PC, is that correct?
    For the purposes of this I am going to assume you are using iPhoto '11.
    Gather the photos you want to burn to DVD in one album in iPhoto. This is not absolutely necessary but it sure makes things easier for me.
    Select that album, then go to the File menu and select Export...
    In the dialog that shows up, select the File Export tab. Select the setting you want to use for export. Click the Export button.
    Another dialog will show up. Set the location to Desktop and click the New Folder button. Name the folder something nice and descriptive and click the Create button.
    Click the OK button. Quit iPhoto as the rest of this work will be done in the Finder.
    You will now have a folder on your desktop with that nice descriptive name. Find it and select it. Go to the File menu and from it select Burn "Descriptive folder name" to Disc...
    Insert a blank DVD when prompted.
    Let the finder complete the work and eject the disc afterwards.
    That's it. Best of luck.

  • Sorry for the dumb question...

    Sorry for the dumb question but I've never used two hard drives on a mac. On my second installed hard drive on my new Mac Pro, I can not create a new folder (the option is greyed out). What do I do?

    Try this:
    Right click (or ctrl-click) and select "Get Info"
    On the bottom, under "Ownership & Permissions", make sure that the pull down menu next to "You can" says "Read & Write".
    Under details, you can make your username the owner of the disk, with the same access.
    You can also click the "Ignore ownership on this volume" if you don't want any of those types of permissions.

  • Sorry for the dumb question - connecting to external monitor

    Ok, so I have a MacBook Pro 15". I want to connect it to my 23" HP L335 LCD monitor (which I believe has VGA and DVI-I connections). I'm generally pretty tech saavy but I keep seeing DVI-D vs. DVI-I and I know DVI is better than VGA but I never see DVI-I mentioned in the cables to connect my MBP to the monitor (I'm also not sure which port is on this... DisplayPort or MiniPort or whatever). If someone could let me know what it is I'm looking for that would be great!

    Which model of MBP do you have, rtr12rtr?
    If it is one of the "unibody" models, sold since late 2008, it will have a "mini Display Port", and you will need a "mini-display Port adaptor to DVI adaptor" to connect it to a Single Link DVI-D cable that connects with your display. (one usually comes with your display, so check the packaging if you haven't noticed one - the link is just for illustrative purposes - I know nothing about the quality of that particular brand).
    You won't need a DVI-I plug on the display end, as it just has a few extra pins to receive an analog signal. You will be sending only digital signals from the MBP so it won't miss the analog pins. The Apple MDS to DVI Adaptor only has holes for a DVI-D cable, so a DVD-I plug won't fit at that end. See http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/dvi_info.html#Page06 for a good illustration of the different DVI plugs.
    If it is one of the "pre-unibody" models, dating from before October 2008, then you won't need an adaptor at all as the computer has a regular DVI-I port. Just use the same DVI-D to DVI-D cable that you would use to connect to the adaptor in the later models. (A DVI-I cable would work just as well in this situations, as the earlier MBPs have a DVI-I socket, which can accomodate the extra analog pins, but it won't make any difference to the picture)

  • How to delete and pull up empty region - Sorry for the newbie question

    Hi,
    I know Avid and Final Cut Pro and both allow me to mark an empty region and delete it. This closes the gap of the empty region and then pulls the two clips together.
    Can I do this in Garage Band. I feel lame for asking.
    For example, let's say I'm editing dialogue in Garage band and I want to delete an "um". Can't I just mark it and then delete it, pulling the rest of the clip up?
    Thanks so much!
    Kirk

    The reason GB doesn't have this is because it was created for music - and there you want the gap to remain, otherwise everything that follows would be out of sync.
    If you're only editing spoken word, an audio editor is the better alternative. On the other hand, you can get used to editing audio in GB, you don't even have to do two cuts: Do the right cut and pull the right region on top of the left to where you want it (looking at the waveform). Done.

    SYSDBA is a privilege/role, not a user account - therefore the concept of changing a password does not make sense. Pl post the conmplete sqlplus or connect command you used and the complete error message.

    --&gt;doc_blob is the blob field where files are located.

    Can YOU help me, Please ?
    Mathew

    If you have some other criteria to put before the "not mango", that would work. With a small number of rows, "% not mango" works. However, with a large number of rows with various data, like most such tables have, "% not mango" is likely to result in a wildcard query expansion error. Some alternatives are to use "contains (...) = 0" or " not (contains ...) > 0". These will still use the domain index, but avoid the problem with the wildcard expanding to too many terms. Please see the demonstration below.

  • Sorry for the newbie question NX5U

    How do I transfer my standard definition video files on my SD card from my NX5U to DVD? I want to keep the raw footage forever and with tape it was easy. I'm new to this so forgive me.

    Treat the DVD as a data DVD, copy over the raw files.  The FULL CARD STRUCTURE files.
    If you mean a PLAYABLE DVD, then you either author the DVD, or play out of the camera to a DVD recorder, or your edit system to a DVD recorder.  But that is by far the WORSE way to store your masters.
    What you do is copy off the full card to hard drives, as DVDs are too small to hold the amount of data we are talking about here.  Copy the full structure to a hard drive, archive the drive.  TWO hard drives really, as drives will fail.
    Yeah, tape was by far more convenient to archive than tapeless media.

  • Basic 1000v for Hyper-V questions

    Hi All,
    I have a Hyper-V 2012 R2 server (free version of Hyper-V) and I am in the process of deploying the Cisco 1000v virtual switch. I have a few questions, however:
    1) My server has a single NIC with 4 uplinks. At the Hyper-V parent OS level, there is an external vSwitch not shared with the OS that uses the public IPs to go directly to the internet. And there is an internal vSwitch which is internal IPs but they are NAT'd via the UTM firewall to get internet connectivity.
    The documentation states either 4 NICs with 1 uplink each or 1 NIC with 4 uplinks as a best practise, so I comply with this.
    Should the VSM use a native Hyper-V switch and all my other VM's use the Cisco switch? In particular, see:
    https://sysctr.nl/2014/05/create-a-configuration-for-the-switch/
    When I imported the template into SCVMM (2012 R2) and built the VSM, it did not pick up specific VM settings. I am not sure if my NIC configuration is correct, could someone take a screenshot of how this should look?
    Lastly, how would I enable promiscous mode and netflow? And how would I setup SPAN ports?
    Sorry for all the questions, thanks!

  • Ready for a stupid question?

    How do I get rid of a screensaver I downloaded? It's the "RainyDay2" screensave I got from Apple's download page. It makes my computer run slow, and I want to get rid of it, but I can't figure out where it is. I've done a search for it, I've looked in both screensaver folders (both empty, BTW), and I even tried running the installer again to see the target directory (the folder it said it was installing to was empty).
    Does anyone know how to delete it?
    (Sorry for the stupid question T-T)

    Take a look here:
    "/System/Library/Screen Savers"
    You no doubt had to enter your password to install it. I have come to really disapprove of programs that want your admin password in order to install. Indeed, I downloaded something the other day that wanted my password, and I declined. Then poked around in its package and discovered it did not need to do what it said, extracted the program, put it in Applications and it worked fine. Anyway, RainyDay should NOT have been set-up by its developer to be installed there, but I think it was.

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience but ♥ But forgot to my secret question and I want to get it back or change it

    Hi,
    While creating your Apple ID initially, have you setup a rescue email, if yes then when you enter a wrong answer to your security questions, it gives you link to send reset security info mail to your rescue email address. If you have not setup a rescue email, then you will have to contact Apple.
         Please read the following line at the bottom of this article  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
    If you decide not to provide a rescue email address, you can't reset your security questions and answers yourself later in the event you can't remember the answers to your questions. You'll need to contact iTunes Store support to have your questions and answers reset.
      Please get the contact info as per your country from this link http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
