Sorting is not showing in measure column in Pivot View

Hi,
We are not able to do sorting on Measure column in Pivot table.Tried in Criteria also but no luck.
Any help in this regard.

I'm going to take a guess since your question is very vague. If the column you are trying to sort on is, say, the fifth column and you want it to stay there, then do this: Make a copy of the column and drag the copy all the way to the left. Add the sort to it and then hide it. The pivot table should now be sorted the way you want.
Try it.
Sorry, the solution is not for "measures" but for dimensions in the "row" section of the pivot table. Didn't read it thoroughly. What I said won't help you in this case. My apologies.

I'm actually trying to find the date i visited a site. adding columns allow the order to be sorted but not show a date. Please tell me it there's a way to see the date. the sidebar no longer has the option for date. the most recent only shows the time.

If you only see the time then that would mean that you see an entry of the current day (today).
History items from past days should have the date as well in the Most Recent Visit column.
You should be able to see this changing if you open the last 7 days folder and scroll down.

  • Hiding a Measure Column in Pivot Table view in OBI 11.1.1.6.7

Measure column hide property is not working with OBI 11.1.1.6.7
I have checked the flag available in column property to hide the measure column . Any idea

Measure Columns can't be hidden like an attribute. How ever you can use custom style sheet for Value and Header Properties to not show the measure.
for the "Custom CSS Style Options (HTML Only)" under measure properties of the column set "Use Custom CSS Style" value to 'display:none'.
Let me know if this worked.

  • Added albums to iTunes, but they do not show up in the Music Library view.

I imported some albums and the albums do not show up in the Music Library view, however I created a playlist containing all songs added today and they show right up. Is there a fix for this?

They don't show up at all or they don't show up where you expect them to?
The iTunes Library is divided into a number of sources, Music, Podcasts, Books etc. Each file added ends up in just one of these sources depending on its *Media Kind* plus any playlists for which it has matching criteria.
Settings such as *Part of a Compilation, Sort Artist* or *Sort Album Artist* can make albums appear in an unexpected location within Music.

  • Named Criteria created, but it does not show up in the Data Controls view

    Hello there,
I wish to use a data-bound ADF Mobile ListView in one of the pages on the app. However, only entries of the underlying data that fulfill a certain condition shall be displayed in the list. The condition basically is an "Equals" test against a bind variable in the pageFlowScope. Therefore, I have created a corresponding Named Criteria for the data control - proceeded like described here:
    https://blogs.oracle.com/adf/entry/create_named_criteria_in_ejb
The Named Criteria, in my case, has been created and saved, yet it does not show up in the Data Controls view of JDeveloper. Therefore, I cannot drag it on a UI element to use it.
I only have the "Operations" folder where the quick guide above also shows a "Named Criteria" folder.
Refreshing or restarting JDeveloper did not solve this.

It was all taken care of by Gaurav Aggarwal
He got me all fixed up, Thank you for your concern.

  • JTable Problem (table does not show rows and columns)

    Hi All,
What the table is suppose to do.
    - Load information from a database
    - put all the values in the first column
    - in the second column put combobox (cell editor with numbers 1-12)
    - the 3rd column put another combobox for something else
    - the 4th column uses checkbox as an edit
The number of rows of the table should be equal to the number of
    record from
the database. If not given it default to 20 (poor but ok for this)
The number of columns is 4.
But the table does not show any rows or
column when I put it inside a
    JScrollPane (Otherwise it works).

I hope you don't expect us to read hundreds of lines of unformatted code? Use the "formatting tags" when you post.
Why are you creating your own TableModel? It looks to me like the DefaultTableModel will store you data. Learn how to use JTable with its DefaultTableModel first. Then if you determine that DefaultTableModel doesn't provide the required functionality you can write your own model.

  • Data value not showing in added column

I have added a column to a fixed SQL query.  When the application runs, the column appears in the display grid, but the value is missing.
I have added the column to both the query and display templates.  I've added the column to the IlluminatorDoc, reselected the query template in the IllumSQLQuery block, and updated the configuration in the IlluminatorRow block to link the new field.
The new column appears in the Rowsets/Rowset/Column and I can see the value in Rowsets/Rowset/Row.  When running the xacute query calling the BLS transaction, the new column and value is displayed in the text/html format.
Can anyone advise on why the column value is not showing in the grid?

Thank you Sam for your answer!
I had the column mapped in the display template, however, I had mapped to the query within the transaction instead of selecting the xacute query.  My column names were very similar, but in taking a closer look I realized I had the wrong query.  Once I selected the correct query, mapped the column and cleared the Java cache, the value then displayed.
When I right-click on the iGrid, the Data option is disabled and cannot be selected so that I can see the detail.  I'm not sure how to correct this.
    Thanks again!

  • PSA Edit Dialog - Not showing all the columns

    Hi All,
I need to edit the transaction data for 2LIS_13_VDITM in PSA. when I go to display the PSA data it shows few selected fields in the initial display not all coming in the data source.
In Order to get that field in Data Display,  I change the display variant and bring the field in the data display .
Now, When I try to edit that record the the Edit Dialog Pop Up  does not show me all the columns which are there in the Data Display. I checked in the display Selection Tab, the field list over there also does not contain this field.
However, I am able to edit data for all other Data Sources.
Has someone ever faced this kind of strange thing.  We were on support pack 18 and migrated to BW 3.1 support pack 20. I was able to edit data in PSA for this data source earlier. Can it be a support Pack Problem ?
Requesting for your valuable suggestions on this!!!
    Regards
    Deepak

    Hi All,
The below problem occured due to Support Pack upgrade.
If you are upgrading Basis Support pack from 47 to 48, you might face this kind of problem.

  • Why CAN tools are not showing under Measurement IO in LabVIEW 8.2? NI CAN 2.3.2 is installed

    Hi,
The CAN tools/API are not showing in LabVIEW .I am using LabVIEW 8.2 Evaluation Version.
NI-CAN 2.3.2 is also installed. Why it happened?
    Anybody please reply

    Hi Pree,
NI-CAN 2.3.2 was released in 2005 (before LabVIEW 8.2 got released in 2006) and thus does not support it. Any newer NI-CAN version has support for LabVIEW 8.2 (I recommend using the latest version):

The NI-CAN readme file lists the supported programming environments.

  • InsertRow does not show the inserted row on the view

    hello:
The code below works well and shows the row on the view when added. However, when there are several existing rows and I have to scroll to next pages. an insert button on that page does not show the new Row at all. Is there a way for me to see the row even if I scroll over to the last page and try an insert?
    ViewObject myVO = this.getMyView();
    Row newRow = myVO.createRow();
    newRow.setAttribute("Id", myId);
    myO.insertRow(newRow);
    Thanks

    Hi,
I also have problems with code above for inserting a new row.
When I insert a new row in a table and click on column header (to change sorting), that row (and any other new row before committing) disappears from table. And if I commit that table (without missing row), the missing row reappears with next refresh.
Selection in that table (using SelectOne component with Autosubmit=true) also doesn't work with new rows (with existing rows it works fine). Selection allways sticks on first inserted row!
    Something weird is happening here...
    Please help.

  • Drill on Measure column in Pivot table using Navigation

    Hi,
We are using INDEXCOL function in Column formula to determine the level of hierarchy to which the user is login in to the Application using the session variable.
    Example:
    INDEXCOL( @{LevelChange}, ISP."Position"."Territory Name", ISP."Position".L1, ISP."Position".L2, ISP."Position".L3, ISP."Position".L4, ISP."Position".L5, ISP."Position".L6, ISP."Position".L7, ISP."Position".L8, ISP."Position".L9)
Where LevelChange=Presentation variable which gets the value from Session variable.
    Now the issue is:
We want to have drill down on Measure column and pass the corresponding values like Stage Name,Fiscal Quarter and the level of hierarchy to the next navigated report.
Is this possible using the implicit feature(navigation on the column value) or we have to use the PortalPage Nav Function.
    Regards

Just use a session level and set the higher level. The user will have then the possibility to drill down from level 4 to level 5 for instance.
    http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dat/obiee/logical_sql/obiee_indexcol
The problem with the presentation variable is the scope. You can use it but only in a dashboard, if you open an other report, the presentation service variable is set back to not initialized and you will get the default value.
    An other little thing :
How do you set the default value ?
In your formula, I see a presentation variable LevelChange but no default ?
    INDEXCOL( @{LevelChange}, ISP."Position"."Territory Name", ISP."Position".L1, ISP."Position".L2, ISP."Position".L3, ISP."Position".L4, ISP."Position".L5, ISP."Position".L6, ISP."Position".L7, ISP."Position".L8, ISP."Position".L9)
