SP2013 - ADFS Authentification fails

Hi there,
for testing purposes I have set up a sharepoint farm with one sp2013-server, sql 2008R2 and one hostnamed web-application. I have also set up a new certification authority and an adfs-server, both based on windows 2012 r2.
After setting up sharepoint I created a new authentification provider like this:
http://technet.microsoft.com/de-de/library/hh305235%28v=office.15%29.aspx
But after switching my web app to adfs authentification fails with error messages like this:
error id 364:
Exception details:
Microsoft.IdentityServer.Web.InvalidRequestException: MSIS7042: The same client browser session has made '6' requests in the last '11' seconds. Contact your administrator for details.
Chrome shows me the ADFS landing page with "an error has occured", but IE just brings up a basic authentification and after entering credentials I see "webpage not found".
What I did:
Rechecked my whole config
Checked the thumbprint of the certificates
$sts = Get-SPSecurityTokenServiceConfig
$sts.LogonTokenCacheExpirationWindow = (New-TimeSpan –minutes 1)
$sts.Update()
Iisreset
Verified the time - is ok
Now I am out of ideas ... can somebody please help me?
Thanks
Marcel

Strange - idpinitiatedsignon.aspx works on chrome and bringt the forms logon - I can log on
Same URL in IE opens the adfs-page, when I click "login" I see a windows security-window for credentials (guess basic authentification)
- after entering I get http 400.
So I disabled "windows authentification" in my global authentification settings on "intranet" and enabled forms -
then the login works everywhere but I have to enter credentials manually.
Switched back to windows auth - doesn't work on the sharepoint-server but works on the adfs-server itself.

  • Authentification failed?

Has anyone had this problem before? I have a PPoe server connected to an ethernet cable. Lately, often when I open Safari, it does not read the local connection, and gives me the message "authentification failed" It could be my server, but it seems to happen if I leave the ibook open and come back to it at a later time, especially if I didn't quit Safari before ending my session. Usually if I close the book, and come back to it at a later time, I dont have this problem, but not always. This only became an issue 1 week ago. I have had the same comp. and server for nearly a year. Any ideas? Thanks¡¡¡!!!!!

Is there a reason, why there is no direct support for adf bc via jdbc? Not exactly sure what you mean here. Remember that the mobile device is a one user environment so it won't make sense to have the full ADF BC run on the mobile device.
Since you are working over the network accessing a remote server, you probably don't want direct JDBC access to the DB on the server because of network port security settings.
Web services are the standard way to invoke remote logic on servers.
Why is there no support for exposing the application module via a RESTful service, or is it planned to support in further versions? This is planned for a future version.

  • N95 battery authentification failed?

I got this n95 from one of the O2 stores in london.
The battery has a hologram label for checking its authenticity.
The hologram looks fine: able to see the nokia connecting hands symbol, nokia original enhancements logo, and 1-4 dots on each side; when angle at different views.
So i scratch the side of the label to reveal the 20-digit code, read from the top row followed by the bottom row.
I then entered the 20-digit code at www.nokia.com/batterycheck as instructed and to my surprise, it says "Authentication Unsuccessful: Invalid 20-digit code. The code you submitted could not be authenticated... ."
I got a similar reply when i text my battery 20-digit code to nokia at 07786200276.
Does this means my n95 battery is not an authentic?
What should i do with it? -return the battery to that O2 store and get a replacement of another unauthentic ones (LOL) ??
    Any ideas?
    Cheers,
    Tuck

I follow the link in Nokia’s website (http://europe.nokia.com/A4388379) to search for my local authorised Nokia service centre, and it shows one in Oxford Street: Carphone Warehouse.
Today I went to Carphone Warehouse in Oxford Street to have my battery checked by a repairwoman, which I believed she’s a Nokia-authorised repairperson.
She took the battery to the lab behind the store and examines for about 5 minutes. She then returned and telling me that the battery is fine and nothing to worry about. When I ask about the 20-digit code which fails for authentication from Nokia’s website, she said she has no idea about it.
I was a bit relief when thinking again she said that the battery is fine. So, upon reaching home, I quickly try the battery on my Nokia N95 and couldn’t wait to use it. I switched it ON and it begins to start up to a setup screen. Seconds later, the screen was frozen and then fading to total blackout!!! -OMG... what have I done???!
I pressed and hold the ON button three times but nothing works. Well, I thought the battery might have running out and needs charging. Unfortunately, it fails to switch-on again after an hour of charging.
Do you think I might have caused any damages to my handset?
Should there be any damages caused to the handset, am I to be blame for all this (due to my carelessness and negligence in using ‘unauthentic battery’ ...even though I’ve been told it is ok to use)?
Is it possible for me to get a new replacement from Nokia/O2 store at no charge?
    Please advice.
    Thanks.

  • Why does user authentification fail when opening VPN

When trying to open VPN on my mini Ipad I get the above message. Can anyone tell me  how to fix this?

    Hello,
it could be that you have license to have only one remote panel at once.. and perhaps that first connection does not get destroyed properly before opening a new browser window.. Though that should not cause the crash you described. Which version of the LabVIEW Dev suite to you have? See the link below:
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/C23829DB3D00486A86256D5E00707FB2?OpenDocument
Also, is the VI for that front panel reentrant?

Thanks a lot for you reply.

Could you please let me know what else can be done?

"Caused by: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no oraInstaller in java.library.path"
This issue in RHEL 6.5 running in a VMWare virtualised environment. I have tried th installation in few servers in the same environment and ADF keep failing with same message. However the installation is successful in Oracle Virtualbox running CentOS 6.6 and RHEL 6.5/6.6 running in cloud environment.
Anyone came acrsoss this type of issue? please provide any suggestions. I have installed Sun JDK v1.6u45.

  • AD FS fails to get configured and start

    Greeting MS community,
I have an 3 VM's running Windows Server 2012 R2 in a data center running on a common network, joined to the same domain. One of the VM's is running DirSync to synchronise to Office365, another is an AD DC (with a DNS server too) and the third does not matter...
The AD is synced from a Windows server 2008 AD (which for ADFS should be fine).
I am trying to install AD FS for SSO with Office365. The tried both: on my Domain Controller VM and my DirSync VM (i know the advice not to have ADFS on either, but it should still function!). I used WID and not SQL. I've removed WID and the ADFS role, deleted
the WID files too. Re-added it all... nothing
The role installs just fine. The configuration wizard for ADFS however fails. Starting the service manually also fails. No clear error message. Just says failed.
Have a certificate from a root CA
Created an ADFS service account (with manually updating the SPN or letting the wizard do it - neither makes a difference)
Have all the admin rights for the account I am using in AD.
Added an An 'A' record to my DNS records (on the AD DC VM) for the subdomain i've issued teh certificate for (i.e. fs.example.com) pointing to the real IP (even tried the local one). It resolves just fine.
There is no clear event viewer entry about why it failed. It just says something like this from Service Control Manager:
"The Active Directory Federation Services service terminated with the following error:
An exception occurred in the service when handling the control request."
I've ran the same procedures on another sanbox VM with the same setup - it all worked out fine...
Please help. 2 days of banging my head on the wall... no results...
    Thanks.

Here's a wiki post with similar issue, though it's on the previous version of ADFS -
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/1422.ad-fs-2-0-the-ad-fs-2-0-windows-service-fails-to-start-event-102-and-220-logged.aspx
May want to double-check the cert.
Since you got it working in the lab you're obviously familiar with the process.  http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn486775.aspx
GPO lockdowns might be different between production and the lab where it's working.  May want to check any controls being implemented on batch account or logon as service rights.

Please reply back if you see any other evidence/error codes that point towards a cause.

  • Sims3 DVD authentification error after installing PSE 6

I have a strange problem with my MacBook Pro 15". I bought Sims3 and played it some weeks, then I bought PSE 6 for my photo editing needs. Now, the first time I wanted to start Sims 3 after installing PSE 6, the Sims 3 game starts, but when launching the city where to chose from my families, the error message occurs: "Disc-Authentification failed. Check of the Sims 3 Disc has failed, it could not be checked whether the disk is a valid disk."
Before asking the EA support, I checked updates (none), repaired access rights, checked my disc and reinstalled Sims3.
The EA Support hotline asked me to do a firmware update for my superdrive, but i don't find an available download.
    Can someone help me?

Put the first disk in again, and set it to just install the DVD SP content, livetype, and motion content disks... if it fails, call Apple, as you might have a bad disk there.
But the applications themselves are already installed. What you're missing is the templates on those disks onlly.
Seems to me you can also just put the other disks in and install them one at a time.
Also, if this is an upgrade from a previous installation (FCP 5 or whatever) you really should do it as a clean install... all you need to have is your previous serial number.
