Spacing Issues and You Tube embed not playing in IE8, OK in Chrome or Safari

There are spacing issues (makes the website pages look like they are puzzle pieces) on all the webpages in
IE8, but in Safari and Chrome the website works fine.  Same for the You Tube embed.
My wife did the layout of the website in Ilustrator and then transfered over the design to Dreamweaver CS3
(she's a graphic designer - I stopped asking questions long ago).  Since she uses a Mac, it looked fine to her
in Safari.  She took it to her work computer (PC) and tried to see if there were any issues detected when viewing in CS5
and she said it was fine.

You tube videos not playing on safari, my flash player is up to date, i tried to refresh, quit safari, again tried to play, but every time it shows "an error has occurred, please try again later". I did almost everything to make it work but its not working... help needed

Try deleting the cache and cookies for YouTube.

  • You tube will not play sound after i downloaded mountain lion

Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab. Click: Delete All
Now quit and relaunch Safari to test.

  • You Tube will not play in Safari 3.0.4

I am not able to watch You Tube videos in their entirety 95% of the time. Occasionally, I have been able to view a complete video, but most of the time I can only watch 5-10 seconds before the video stops. I have tried emptying the cache, but this makes no difference. I have had this problem with 3 different ISP's, so that does not seem to be the problem either. I have a decent DSL connection right now. Is this common, or is anyone else able to consistently view You Tube without any problems?

Ah, alright. Not as dire as it could be then. For starers, try quitting Safari and trashing the contents of your cache folder, ~/Library/Caches/Safari/. Also, if you're not particularly attached to browser history, also trash the file, ~/Library/Safari/History.plist.

  • The streaming videos and Y Tube do not play they stop and you continually have to press the start button! Safari is also slow to load!

    Can someone assist me!

    Hello,
now today is the day I've finally received my replacement board. The good news first - it DOES work! Yepeeee!
     Now some more information:
The jmicron controller seems to be missing - a screen with something about "Marvel" is shown before the intel raid screen. However, it is only visible for a fraction of second, so I cannot read it. I think it detects my IDE DVD-RW so I'm quite certain it's the replacement for jmicron. I won't miss it - it took me ages to install Linux with the jmicron controller.
The problem where I had to restart the computer sometimes because it didn't even post (RAM error) is gone. It boots just fine now.
I had an extremely long first post - about a minute, but after that it boots very fast now.
anyway, regarding some questions around here - the manual states MSI recommends using an 350W power supply. My 400W is more than enough. Please note - it is an Enermax, not one bundled with a cheap case. My cheap RAM sticks also work very well now. I did try them on different boards before, so now I know I just had a faulty board.
In the end, I can only say this: This is my 3rd board already and it's the first one that works well. As the hardware changed, I presume there were major issues with this board that lead them to make a new revision. What is strange, though, is that the revision is still 1.1, as were my previous two. I pity everybody who had the same problems as I did, but I can now say that I'm very happy about the board now.
     Cheers, muro

  • Since the upgrade of the ios 6.0 you tube does not work and when doing a search of apps after 24 views the ipod logs off can i downgrade to my old software

Since the upgrade of the ios 6.0 software you tube will not work and when searching for an app the ipod touch shuts down after viewing 24 items

What iPhone do you have? You can check in settings>>general>> about.
If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.
If your phone is not responding, reset it by pressing and holding down both the home button ad lock/ sleep button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.

Thanks for this post. It corrected my similar issue. Note that you need to exit from/re-enter iTunes after deleting the song from your Purchased list.

  • I have recently purchased a CD and some tracks do not play the whole way through. Why?

I have recently purchased a CD and some tracks do not play the whole way through. Why?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to close and restart iTunes.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

  • You Tube does not work!

I have a new build and flash player does not work, it is loaded as I can see it in Manage add-ons.  you tube will not see flash player as I keep getting an error message saying "The ADobe Flash Player is required for video playback" with the option "get the latest flash player". I tried downloading, unloading and downloading and nothing works.  I have Windows 7 64 bit, Explorer 9.  I have never had this problem before loading Flash Player on a new system.  I also have Adobe Acrobat Standard x loaded, if that makes any difference.  It worked fine on my old system with Flash Player.   Any ideas?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Can't say for sure that it is permitted or works everywhere, but most countries include a YouTube app on the iPad. Links to non-flash videos on YouTube, and works beautifully.

Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes?  If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created.

What version of the software do you have? iOS 5? iOS 6?
Check by opening Settings app. The navigate to General > About. It will tell you the software verison.
In iOS 5, restrictions could cause YouTube from not appearing any where in the home screen.
    See: iOS: Understanding Restrictions
In iOS 6, it's normal because YouTube is no longer part of iOS. You'll need to go to the App Store and download it.

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > YouTube being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPhone has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.
