Specific module cannot be found

after I sign in a message shows up that says: c:\user\rosalie\appdata\local\hp\hewitt-packard\elmxnkqf.dll The specific module cannot be found. After xing out this message I can use my pc. Could anybody tell me what this message mean? Thanks

I understand you are getting a message regarding elmxnkqf.dll when signing in.
This is more than likely related to one of the start-up programs from HP.
What is the product number of the notebook?
NOTE: Do NOT provide the serial number.
A search for elmxnkqf.dll didn't return any results as to what program uses this file, so this may take some trial and error to find it.
Did the error start after a specific program was installed?

Anyway, based on the error message you provided, I suspect the issue was caused because one module was missing. Although we are not sure which one it is, you can go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features to repair Office, this will recreate
some missing components and probably fix this issue.

OraOledbous10.dll Specific module could not be found

To Any Oracle experts,
I have downloded the latest Oracle 10g Vista\XP client 10.2.03 which includes the OraOledb ADO drivers. I am getting a spuradic error :
"OraOleDBpus10.dll .. Specific module could not be found." My Oracle database is 9i ..
Strangly enough .. this only occurs when I run my executable from my local drive ( xp sp3 ) . if I place the executable on a network drive .. running it from my box ( same box ) .. the error does not occur ..
I am new to this forum .. I am using a TOLeAuto() class from xHarbour and Borland's C++ 5.5 compiler. The below code is the syntax. I loaded the Oracle database utilities, SQL+ and the Windows Drivers which includes the OraOledb. I know the setup is working because I can connect with the SQL+ utility so I know my tnsnames and sqlnet.ora files are correct.
Again .. this error only shows up sporadically on my local xp-sp3 box .. I have not loaded it on Vista .. and forget about Windows 7 .. the client will not even install because the OS version number is out of range.
The paths are correct, and my compiled program runs from a network .. just not ( always ) on my local xp sp-3 machine .. especially seems to happen after a run-time failure of my application. This is an app in development and I wil lhave run-time failures constantly.
Any advice would be quite helpful

You might be getting the error message because of any of the following reasons:
.dll files are corrupt or missing
Attack of malware or other spyware
Incorrect installation of applications
Damaged Windows registry
Old Windows device drivers that need to be updated
The problem can be sorted if you know the exact reason behind the same. Please let me know the exact error message that appears on your screen.
If the issue is with damaged files then you might need to replace them or if it is a system issue, then please take your laptop to an expert who can deal with system issues.

I found solution myself. i replaced DDL
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSDesigners8
from where Visual solution is working fine.

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

Satellite A40 - Error code 10- D: drive cannot be found

HELP PLEASE!!!
I really need some help to fix the errors on my system.
A short while ago i accidently deleted the DVD+/- optic drive to my laptop, and when I go to my computer it isnt there?
The sys. tells me that the D: drive cannot be found, and the drive was removed without preperation and cannot be found, Error code 10.
What does this mean, as I have tried to update the BIOS, and it does not need it, and i cannot find a driver for the Satellite A40 from Toshiba.
Also the drivers appear to be ok and the boxes are ticked in the device management, altho the optic drive sometimes has a yellow exclamation mark?
Tried the recovery disk and no luck.
Also the drive doesn't work now, as it doesnt read disks!

[SOLVED] Root fs cannot be found on boot (initramfs works)

Hi all! Long time lurker, first time poster.
I'd been using catalyst drivers since I started out on Arch. I knew there were conflicts during updates involving catalyst, so I've never updated my kernel or Xorg during "pacman -Syu" updates. I'd specifically blocked them in pacman.conf. However, I recently decided to switch to open source ati drivers and in doing so, decided to update my entire system including the kernel. Everything went smoothly, but upon reboot I'm getting the dreaded "root filesystem cannot be found" error.
Root device '/dev/sdb6' doesn't exist, attempting to create it
ERROR: Failed to parse block device name for '/dev/sdb6' unknown
ERROR: Unable to create/detect root device, '/dev/sdb6'
Dropping to recovery shell.. type 'exit' to reboot
Note that the initramfs worked, it's just it couldn't get into my root partition even though I can mount it without any problems from the live CD.
I set about trying to fix my problem. Here is a list of things I've tried.
1) Using the liveCD, I chrooted into my install (mounting proc, dev, etc. in the process) and did
depmod -a
followed by
pacman -Sf kernel26
which completed with no errors problems. This didn't solve my issue.
2) Using the liveCD, performing
mkinitcpio -M
and ensuring my mkinitcpio.conf file contained all the listed modules. I then rebuilt the initramfs with another
pacman -Sf kernel26
This didn't solve my issue.
3) Playing with grub, replacing my UUID lookups with /dev/sdb6. I also tried different combinations (see this thread) to check the bios and grub were matching up. I did the suggested rootdelay=8 and rootfstype=ext3 stuff, too. This didn't solve my issue.
4) Using the liveCD, I did another depmod -a then downgraded my kernel to the older package found on the 2008.6 CD. Mkinitcpio completed successfully, everything seemed fine, but... This didn't solve my issue.
I've done these steps over and over again in various orders, trying different combinations, but I've not had any luck.

I read that first link - though I might have misinterpreted it. I tried keeping (hd1,5) the same and changing /dev/sdb6 to /dev/sda6, etc. I always through that the grub root (hd0,5) wasn't correct, the initramfs would not be able to show up and I'd just get a grub error. What I have tried so far hasn't worked, but I might try changing to (hd0,5) instead of (hd1,5) in a little while.
With regards to the other links, they seem to suggested lots of things I've already tried. The list is getting quite long now!
I have tried reinstalling kernel26, downgrading kernel26, using the fallback image, made sure mkinitcpio.conf contains my filesystem type, made sure mkinitcpio.conf contains my hdd controller module, tried rootdelay=8 a few times... and my mkinitcpio seems to work, so I don't think the problem is with my mkinitcpio.conf file.
Phew! Thanks for your continued help... I'm sure this problem will get solved eventually (and I bet it'll be something simple!). At least I'm learning about chrooting, initramfs, etc.
Do you think it's worth trying to change root (hd1,5) to (hd0,5)? I imagine that would only cause grub to give me and error and not even be able to find the initramfs!

First thing I'd say is that you're code doesn't compile:
lv_title := '   // <----Secondly, does no-one use comments anymore? Isn't this drilled into people in programming classes at colleges? There's a whole bunch of code there but not much in the way of explanation as to what you are trying to achieve. It might make perfect sense to you now but try going back to it in a year and see if you can untangle it's purpose.
Thirdly, is there a specific reason why you've chosen to manually generate a report in PL/SQL, rather than delegating it to a report region? I understand that for particular formatting requirements (denormalised data, cells-within-cells etc), it is occasionally necessary to go to these lengths but I can't help but feeling a well-written query could simplify a lot of this, particularly the references multiple cursors.

Message'there was an error opening this document.The file cannot be found'

Using xp home and when I click to download the pdf file, it will give 3 options been 'open'/'save'/?. When I choose the 'open' option, it will give me the above message "there was an error opening this document.The file cannot be found"
owever if I choose to "save" and I will be able to open the file and read it. In this pc its using Adobe Reader 8.1.2 with a patch. It was working fine prior to this sudden occurance of the error.
Strangely I have another pc with the same specification, I was able to choose "open" and be able to read the file. Can anyone help to resolve the issue by using the "open' option instead of "save, then open". Greateful for your prompt response.

Fyi, in addition to my earlier post, the other pc is using Adobe 8.1.1 and no other patch. I was trying to find 8.1.1 version but could not find a trust worthy site to load from. Do you think the error caused by using the 8.1.2 version? Thanks

File cannot be found when trying to open emailed fdf file

Hello all. I'm starting to lose my mind here so I thought I'd ask the community for any help. I'm using Acrobat Pro X. I have a PDF that a new hire is supposed to fill out. All the fields work and save just fine. There's 2 buttons at the end of the document set to email certain fields to a specific email address. When either button is clicked, an .fdf file is attached to a new outlook message. The problem is when the recipient tries to open the attachment, Adobe Acrobat X Pro (and Reader XI) comes up with the following message:
"The file you are attempting to open contains comments or form data that are supposed to be placed . This document cannot be found. It may have been moved, or deleted. Would you like to browse to attempt to locate this document?"
The original file is located on a mapped network drive (the same drive letter on both computers). The same message comes up even on the computer the email was sent from. I saved the document with "Enable Additional Features" enabled. I'm getting close to wits end. I need to be able to send the email outside the network but don't want to include the entire PDF as it has confidential information. Any suggestions?

So the recipients will need an original copy of the PDF in order to import the fdf? I know they'll get confused with that. Is there a way to just email the fields in a text file?

I downloaded new itunes,now my itunes file is gone and itunes will not open,it tells me to reinstal i have done this 10 times and still cannot open itunes! then when i try to repair it it says "A installation package cannot be found!? help!

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
