Specification of the Time_Zone values?

The SPA100 Provisioning Guide contains a chart of valid Time_Zone values for some timezones (https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-26259), but there is no specification of what the values mean.  The default value is "-08 1 1".  The first number is obviously the offset from UTC.  The second two numbers must specify when summer time starts and stops, but how exactly is that specified?
I'm trying to figure out a way of converting from the Daylight_Saving_Time_Rule parameter used on the older SPA devices, into a valid Time_Zone.

The spa1xx series don't have the 'daylight savings time rule' which the older spa series had.
It only has the 'auto adjust clock' parameter in the xml file which corresponds to 'adjust clock for daylight savings changes' in the web UI.  Default is 1 which means checked to on.  This should correspond automatically to the region selected for time zone.

  • OAK3 error message - Specifications for the mean value methods incorrectly

    Hello experts,
After golive of sap ECC system of our client, when the auditors check the consistency of depreciaion areas in transaction OAK3, the error message is appearing under the depreciation area 01 as "Specifications for the mean value methods incorrectly defined". Can anybody throw some light on how to encounter this error message?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    1) Usually, the reason why the error occurs is that you have no area defined in the chart of depreciation.
    2) Also please check the attached note 847289.
    3) Please also run OIB5 and check if capitalization version is assigned to depreciation area 01
If you use capitalization versions it is necessary to have a depreciation area with area type 07 (Cost-acc. valuation) which
    get the whole amounts.
The depreciation area which takes the values to 100 % must have the following features:
=> The currency of the depreciation area should have the currency of the controlling area
=> The depreciation area should have the depreciation area type "07 Cost-acc. valuation"
=> The area should not have a capitalization version

  • The return value of "which"

    Dear OS Xers,
Subject: Script writing. The "which" command that that returns the location of a program.
I'm writing a script that, at the beginning and before the main body of the script, checks that the commnds it uses are installed on the system. I was hoping to use "which" to do this, specifically checking the return value thus:
which ls bash gaga >/dev/null # list of needed functions
    if [ $? != 0 ] # cause a rumpus.
However I find that the return value is 0=OK even if which can't find some of the programs.
Now, I can get around this for apple by writing a grep script that checks for "^no " in the std output. However I suspect that apple's implementation is non-standard, and that correctly "which" is meant to return an error value in this case. If this is the case then correctly the thing to do is not to script for apple (I'm only writing for my own, hopefully up-to-date systems!) but to correct the apple implementation.
I want to check two things with you. First, I have no real basis for saying that apple's implementation is non-standard. I only know that I've checked other systems and man pages and all that I've come across so far indicate that an error is returned. Is there some more authoratitive method of checking what the behaviour should be? Some standards body? Secondly, I realise that this is small fry but I'd be more than happy to update apple's code if they are likely to approve the change. If that's the case can someone please show me where I can find the relevant source code?

    RETURN VALUE
Which returns the number of failed arguments, or -1 when no `program-
    name' was given.
    Debian implementation:
    EXIT STATUS
0 if all specified commands are found and executable
1 if one or more specified commands is nonexistent or not executable
2 if an invalid option is specified
I'll have a chance to check the implementation on some solaris machines next week.
As you can see, they're not consistent in terms of what error they return, but they do all return a non-zero value.
      Mac OS X (10.4.4)

The fink version ( /sw/bin/which ) does what you're looking as well--it doesn't recognize aliases though. tcsh and OS X's csh (which happens to be a duplicate of the tcsh executable) do recognize aliases.
I guess the script (/usr/bin/which) is there to either echo one's path when a command's not found or give a different response to aliases. Otherwise one could change the script to:
    #! /bin/csh -f
    which $arg
    exit($?)
Note the added -f...this prevents aliases from being set by csh when they don't exist in the bash shell. But neither script will recognize aliases set in a bash shell.

  • How to figure out if the bottom 2 lines in each group has the same value in specific columns?

Hi, I need help to finish my project ASAP. My task is to figure out defects in this Loan_Status_Tbl.
When Current_Principal= 0, Loan_status should be populated from previous records. For example, when Loan_Nbr 00001's current_Principal=0, it's loan_status is not populated from it's 2010-12-30 record, and 00002 is good. I want to know which items are not
good, and report the results to engineer to modify the wrong record in DW.
    ID      LOAN_NBR    CURRENT_PRINCIPAL                           LOAD_DT              LOAN_STATUS
    1        00001           1000                            2010-12-5     APPROVED
    2        00001           800                              2010-12-30   APPROVED
    3        00001           0                                  2011-3-1        NULL
    4        00002           500                              2012-5-1        APPROVED
    5        00002           0                                  2012-6-12      APPROVED

    Hi,
If I understand correctly, you want to highlight the records that have incorrect Loan_status values.
To achieve this requirement, we can create a table with the table data, then add a column with correct Loan_status value in a report. Compare the Loan_status column and new column to find out the incorrect values, then highlight it. The following detail
    steps are for your references:
Create a report in a SQL Server Reporting Services Project.
Create a dataset with the sample data.
Drag a Table with the dataset to design surface.
Add a group grouped by LOAN_NBR, then insert all the fields to the table.
Right-click the LOAN_STATUS column to add a new column with Right option, then insert the expression as below:
    =iif(Fields!CURRENT_PRINCIPAL.Value="0",previous(Fields!LOAN_STATUS.Value),Fields!LOAN_STATUS.Value)
Click second row to change its BackgroundColor property as below, then the incorrect Loan_status value row will be highlighted:
    =iif(Fields!LOAN_STATUS.Value=iif(Fields!CURRENT_PRINCIPAL.Value="0",previous(Fields!LOAN_STATUS.Value),Fields!LOAN_STATUS.Value),"Transparent","Red")

  • Encountering problems getting the median value for specific rows alone.

    Consider the following columns:
    Call Value
    0.49
    0.65
    1.22
    1.29
    1.34
    1.64
    1.8
    2.25
    3.86
    4.32
    5.12
    Median 1.64
    Quartile 1
    0.49
    0.65
    1.22
    1.29
    1.34
    Expected Median 1.22
    BO Returns
The first column in the table contains call values. The median of all the call values is 1.64. BO displays this value as is (correctly). In case of obtaining the median for Quartile 1, BO returns a null value instead of 1.22.
Can anyone please tell me what needs to be done in BO to achieve this value 1.22?

    Hi Rajiv,
Following is the syntax of the formula for median values.
    The Syntax is as follows:
number Median([measure]), where measure is any measure object.
    Example
    Median([Revenue]) returns 971000 if [Revenue] has the values 736431, 971000, and 5476652
Please note that the Median function in BusinessObjects works differently from the Median function in Microsoft Excel.
For odd number of rows in the report, the Median will take the middle value and for even number of rows in the report, the Median will take the two middle values and calculate the Average of them.

  • The normal value of battery capacity for macbook pro

    Hi there,
I noticed my battery full charge capacity value is way below the technical specification from Apple.
    For macbook pro 15" early 2011 version a 77.5W battery is built-in.
However, so far after 4 cycle, my full charge capacity is 6913mAh.
It seems that I missed something. Though I didn't really notice the initial value when it's brandnew.
Statistically what's the average value of the new battery will be ? around 75W or 7500mAh? Any idea?

  • How to get the layout values in F4 help from Other program ?

    Hello All,
           I have a program P1which calls other program P2 .

  • How can I build a table with the time values of a timer from a while loop

    Hi:
I have a question concerning building a table:
Every 100ms I read a value from a sensor (while loop with a timer). I would like to build a table with the actual time and the concerning value. For example:
    0msec         1V
    100msec     2V
    200msec     3V
    300msec     4V
    etc.
If I use the Express VI for building a table, I always get the date and time, but I don't need the date and the time is in the following format: HH:MMS, which is nonsensical for me as I can't differentiate within msec. Can I change the format anywhere?
Can I also save the table to a file or even to an Excelsheet? How can I do that?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Craig:
thank you very much. To solve the mystery : ) :
I want to drive a stepper motor with a specific frequency. To get the current degree value of the motor I would like to measure the current time (from the beginning of the move on). (With a formula I get the degree value out of the time)
Concurrently I would like to get data from a torque sensor and from a pressure sensor. That's why I asked you about the time and the table. The measurement should start with the movement of the motor. How can I do that? Right now I have different block diagrams (different while loops) (see attachment) and I would like to put them in one.
I haven't done the block diagram for the pressure sensor yet, so there is only the one for the torque sensor and the one for the motor.
I also would like to set a mark in the table when the voltage value of an analog input gets under a specific threshold value. Is that possible?
I'm sorry, I'm a novice in LabVIEW. But maybe you can help me.
    Thank you very much!
    Steffi

  • How to set the returned value of CFL in a matrix

    dear all,
I got a matrix binded to a DataSource and two CFLs are in this matrix. The codes for handling AfterChooseFromList is as following.  It works almost fine. But when a docoment containing more than two
rows in the matrix and I reselect the CFL cell values more than two times, an error occured sometimes, not everytime. The error message is "This entry already exists in the following tables @CYW_PRROW [Message 131-183]"
I have tried to find out what kind of situation to cause this error, but still in the mud.
Can anybody give me some suggestion? Thanks.
Public Sub OnAfterChooseFromList_Matrix(ByVal pVal As SAPbouiCOM.ItemEvent)
Dim ActionSuccess As Boolean = pVal.ActionSuccess
            Dim oform As SAPbouiCOM.Form = SBO_Application.Forms.Item(pVal.FormUID)
            Dim oitem As SAPbouiCOM.Item = oform.Items.Item("mtx_0")
            Dim omatrix As SAPbouiCOM.Matrix = CType(oitem.Specific, SAPbouiCOM.Matrix)
            Dim oDataTable As SAPbouiCOM.DataTable
            oDataTable = pVal.SelectedObjects
            Dim val As String
            Try
                val = oDataTable.GetValue(0, 0)
            Catch ex As Exception
            End Try
            omatrix.GetLineData(pVal.Row)
            oform.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item("@CYW_PRROW").Offset = pVal.Row - 1
            If pVal.ColUID = "col_0" Then
                Try
                    oform.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item("@CYW_PRROW").SetValue("U_PRItemCode", pVal.Row - 1, CStr(val))
                Catch ex As Exception
                    SBO_Application.MessageBox(ex.Message)
                End Try
            Else
                Try
                    oform.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item("@CYW_PRROW").SetValue("U_PRSupp", pVal.Row - 1, CStr(val))
                Catch ex As Exception
                    SBO_Application.MessageBox(ex.Message)
                End Try
            End If
            omatrix.SetLineData(pVal.Row)
            If pVal.FormMode = "1" Then
                oform.Mode = SAPbouiCOM.BoFormMode.fm_UPDATE_MODE
            End If
        End Sub
Another quesion, can I assign the returned value of CLF directly to the cell?

    Hello  Chao-Yi Wu,
I don't have a real solution for you - just a few comments:
    1. At
            Try
                val = oDataTable.GetValue(0, 0)
            Catch ex As Exception
            End Try
    I would add
            Try
if oDataTable Is Nothing Then Exit Sub ' If the User cancels the CFL
                val = oDataTable.GetValue(0, 0)
            Catch ex As Exception
            End Try
    2. At
       If pVal.ColUID = "col_0" Then
I would make the branch by the pVal.ChooseFromListUID instead of the ColUID
and the 2nd not with "Else" but with "Else If ....."
    3. It may work with EditText.String/Value of a cell but I never do that because of performance-reasons.
I always do it the same way as you in principle - I don't really know what the problem is.
    4. Maybe some unique indexes on your table (although this should give an error at the update and not at CFL when "the unique-law is broken"...)?
Sorry - that's all for the moment.
    Cheers,
    Roland

  • Exchange Connector 3.0 (Hotfix Release) Error - Error Message=The key value of an object cannot be changed.

    Hello,
I am running Service Manager 2012 with the Exchange Connector 3.0 RTM (Re-release Version).  The issue I have is that when an e-mail is processed that is trying to update the status or event log of an incident, the Exchange Connector encounters an error
and will not update the object.  The Operations Manager log denotes:
Exchange Connector: Unable to process mail item. Subject="Close Ticket: [IRXXXXX]", Error Message=The key value of an object cannot be changed.
This will happen on a seemingly random selection of Incident work items.  I cannot correlate them with a specific template, exchange connector, or incident tier queue that could be causing the issue.  I can recreate the way a specific ticket
was created and update it through e-mail without issue, and the next ticket can cause the error to trigger.
I have already opened a Microsoft Support Case using our Software Assurance agreement.  After a few months of troubleshooting the issue and trying different fixes, Microsoft support said they were unable to fix the problem and that we would need to
purchase Premier support to go further. At this point I thought I would reach out to the community for ideas.
The setup I have for the Exchange connectors is as follows.
I have three separate Exchange connectors set up to three different mailboxes.  One Exchange connector processes external support tickets and applies a specific template.  Another processes client support tickets and applies a different template.
And the last Exchange connector processes internal tickets and also processes the updates of tickets created by the other two exchange connectors.
Here are the fixes I've attempted so far:
    1.  Changed the templates that each Exchange connector applies.
    2.  Changed the management pack that each template is stored in.
    3.  Checked my management pack(s) for extended classes by searching for Extension="true" (This was also checked by Microsoft support)
    4.  Deleted each Exchange connector and recreated each connector
    5.  Deleted each Exchange connector, deleted the management pack, and reinstalled the management pack and connectors
    6.  Repeated Step 5, deleted Microsoft.SystemCenter.ExchangeConnector.dll and Microsoft.SystemCenter.ExchangeConnector.resources.dll and then installed the Exchange connector Re-release version 3.0 Published 10/7/2013 (which is supposed to address this
    issue)
    7.  Deleted the HealthServiceState folder and restarted the Management Service
I'm not really sure what to do at this point.  I've put many hours into customizing my installation to get it working for my organization so reformatting and starting from scratch would be a nightmare scenario.  This environment is in production.
I do have a band-aid in place using Orchestrator.  Basically I have a monitor task searching for the error message and when it finds one it searches the mailbox for the offending e-mail and applies either the Resolve or Close status change that is requested
from the user.  However, I do not have it working to update the ticket if a comment is applied to the incident.  If anyone is in this position and needs to know how to apply this Orchestrator task I am willing to provide my workflow.
I am new to the community and am already impressed with the amount of help and effort there is in this forum.  I appreciate in advance any help that is provided and am open to any ideas at this point.  I can post more information as needed.
    Thank you,
    John

Yes that is the whole template.  However, I did confirm that this is only happening to incidents where either of two situations triggers a runbook to fire and modify the incident.  When I remove the activity from the incident it does clear the
    issue.  For some background the first Runbook Activity set's the first response date when an incident is resolved if the first response value is null.  The second assigns the incident to a user upon creation if the title contains assignto:username;

The terms “parent” and “child” are part of network databases and NOT RDBMS. We have “weak entity” and “{strong entity” in our data models today.
If you use the nested sets model, this hierarchical aggregation is easy. But your mindset is still in file systems, pointer chains and procedural language programming code. You also have no idea how ISO-11179 naming rules work.
Most of the data element names are garbage! Most of your code is garbage, even after we get over the fundamental design errors.
Think about how absurd “qty” as a data element name is in a schema. Quantity of what?? From logic (specifically the Law of Identity, the most fundamental law in mathematics) that “to be” (exist) is to be something in particular; so this has to be “<something
in particular>_qty” to be valid. Your other data elemet names are also vague garbage.
We do NOT use flags in SQL; this is a predicate language like Assembly code. We do NOT set flags; we discover a current “state of being” with predicates.
Think about “GSS_Hr_Cost_Relation” as a name. Is there only one of them, as you have said?? Would also call a table of “Marriages” a “Man_Woman_Legal_Relations” ? NO! The relationship has a name of its own!
CAST(1 AS FLOAT) is better written AS a constant E1.0; but it is weird. why are you using FLOAT? Do you want rounding errors? Why do you write crap like “CAST(34.00 AS DECIMAL(16, 2)”  when an insertion of just 34.00 works better? Why do you write crap
like “CAST(0x0000a3db00000000 AS DATETIME” instead of using ISO-8601 formats, DATE and DATETIME2(0) data types?
Then you have no idea what kind of attribute a “<something>_code” is and why it cannort ever be key. Go to any library and look at the Dewey DECIMAL Classification system. The hierarchy is in the encoding itself, NOT in some multiple levels of storage.
Why do you have more NULL-able columns than the loan systems of major automobile corporations? I can answer that! Your schema is a disaster that needs to be re-done.
Putting audit data into the table being audited is both stupid and illegal! And then to make it worse, “datecreated” should have been “creation_date” if the moron knew ISO-11179 rules. But it is still a crime; what happens to the audit data when the row is
deleted or the table is dropped? Can a person with access to the data also have access to the audit trail? DOH!
The use of “NVARCHAR(50)” might be correct in places where the data actually is in Unicode varying strings. I think I have seen ~10 of them in 30 years of writing SQL. But everything does not qualify; most likely some moron using ACCESS or a ORM tool used this
default because he is both stupid and lazy. Fire him; his ignorance is dangerous to the project.
Most ISO encodings are fixed length and between 9 and 16 characters with a regular expression for validation. Not all but most.
Finally, after all the decades of RDBMS, why do you use “mat_id INTEGER IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL”?? Why do you think that the insertion attempt count of one table is a valid logical attribute, much less a KEY?
You do not know how to write an INSERT UNTO statement! Look up the VALUES () clause and row constructions.
I have decades of my life invested in SQL and RDBMS. Reading code like this is painful. Can you please get a minimal education and correct this mess? I have been asked to write a book on bad SQL and this is classic illiterate programming! Almost nothing is
    right.
Sorry, but you wanted help and the best help is to stop you from doing more harm until you can learn how to do it properly. >> I want to sum every parent recursively to the top of parent <<

  • How to read the tag values sent by PCo to MII transaction

    Hi everybody,
I have an Agent created inside PCo and its listening to a data server. I have also created a notification object which triggers my MII Transaction (after certain condition is getting fulfilled).
Now, I want to pass certain values from PCo to MII using the notification object. For this I have tried 2 options:
    1. I defined one input parameter in transaction of type 'XML'. But this did not work. When I used 'Tracer' to check the received values, it showed empty.
    2. Since XML variable did not work, I tried with 'String' variable. It worked but the entire input data was in 'String' format.
Actually I used XML_Saver to save the string and given filename as '.xml'. When I opened that xml file, it was looking like this:
    <<unable to write XML here>>
Considering the above 2nd option, how can I extract the particular 'Tag' values from XML string. Since the string is not in the format of 'Rowset/Row/Row', I cannot specifically assign/map those tag values to any other variable inside MII transaction.
    ===========

Hi, I was trying to post the xml string. It was not possible yesterday (because, SDN editor has converted xml part into some irregular string).
Now, I am trying to post the string by removing the special characters. Please try to understand it.
Now, my question is how to retrieve the CDATA value 5599999999 using xpath. Please help.

  • Show the period value in column header using Text Variable

We are using Posting Period & Financial Year to calculate YTD & MTD, for current year and previous years. These posting period and financial year characteristics are custom created characteristics we are using due to customer specific requirement.
Input values are posting period, financial year and numeric value. To calculate previous year, I need to subtract numeric value from the input financial year. Every thing is working fine up to this.
In the report I need to show the posting period and financial year values dynamically in each column header of the report for MTD, YTD for current year & previous year. I tried to achieve this using Text Variables, but I didn’t succeed. If some one can give me some idea to resolve this, it would be very helpful.
I am excellent in ABAP coding. If you can specify me to code in User Exit, I can do it.
Column headers should be 08.1999 Sales Qty, 08.2008 Sales Qty, 1999 Sales Qty, 2008 Sales Qty.

    Hi Abhinav,
Try using the content text variables 0T_FYEAR and 0T_FPER3, when used in the head these variable should display the year and period specified in the RKF.
    e.g
    &0T_FPER3&. &0T_FYEAR& Sales Qty = 08.1999 Sales Qty
If that doesnt work, try creating text replacement path variables referencing the variables you created for the year and period input. To do this click on the RKF and click on the dropdown by the yellow box next to the description on the general tab and select New Variable, enter the description, tech name and set processng by to Replacment Path, then select period as the ref. characteristic, then on the replacement path tab change replace variable with to variable and then select the variable you are using for the period input, save then hit ok, this is now a text representation of the variable your are inputing for period and can be used in the column headers, you will need to repeat the process for the fiscal year.
    Hope this helps
    Josh

During GI to Produciton Order using MVT 261, when we try to select batches from the Item Detail level, the pop up search windows only show us the existing 3 Batch Numbers available for the RM, it does not show the characteristics value "thickness, Width, length" that describe each batch.
And this has caused serious problem to use during their selection of batch as batch number will only make more sense to them if it is shown together with the characteristics value.
Apart of opening additional screen to show the batch information of each batch, is there any config I need to do to solve this situation?
    Mark will be given handsomely.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
it is possible to use another search help (Tab Strip: Search for batches via classes, when you press F4 in the batch field).
Here you have to enter the class number first.
Then you get a list of all characteristics in this class, and you can narrow your selection, by setting values for specific characteristics.
After that, press F8 (Find in initial class)
You will get a list of batches, assigned to the selected class, and fullfilling your selection criteria.
Now you can display either the characteristics of a single batch, or you can define a layout for the ALV-Table control, with all characteristics, which you want to see in the overview.
Another possibility is, to open up the 'batch information cockpit' (transaction BMBC) in a separate mode. Here you can see the characteristics ( if you define a selection class on tab strip 'Characteristics' ), e.g. in combination with stock information, which might be relevant as well.
Here you can download some screenshots (link wiil be valid for 80 days)
