Spry and Dynamic select

Well eeh title says it all... Can Spry datasets be used in an
update form in conjunction with dymanic <select> to
show the value equal to what is in the dataset?
I cannot get mine to work, and I have looked
everywhere!

We would like to use a function module to create a variant and run the job in batch mode. The program that we are trying to use is RFBILA00. We need to use one of the dynamic selections and do not know how to do this.
Can anyone help? I have seen other posts on this subject but no one ever answers them.

Thanks for your input but this does not help. We have a program that is run that creates the variant to run F.01 using RFBILA00. The variants are not defined before this program runs.
We are able to create the variant based on input from a selection screen in our z program, but now have a requirement to use the dynamic selection P/L account type and Balance sheet account.
Our Z program creates the variant, runs the job and then deletes the variant.
If anyone has any other ideas, we are open to suggestions.

Excel OutPut and Dynamically select No of Records in tabular Canvas

I have Oracle foms 10g R2 I have two queries.
1. If I select spreadsheet(Excel) output format in report the items disperse and it is not formatted as it appears during development, what is the reason and how can I fix it.
2. I have canvas on which I am displaying multiple records(tabular canvas) but I don't want to fix the no. of record to displyed during development I want it to be dynamic based on other value, I already check SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY builtin but nothing found to be useful is it possible to set this or is there any other way to do the same job.

Submit to report with logical DB and Dynamic selection

Hi.
Is there an option to pass parameters to the dynamic fields of the LDB?
The command 'SUBMIT' can only allow me to pass params to the static selection screen.

Actually SUBMIT will only accept fields that are described in the target program indeed.
For this case you can use SET PARAMETERS to send values from initial program to dynamic field

I want to add Trading partner in dynamic selection fields of financial statement report at document level not yet GL master level: S_ALR_87012284 - Balance Sheet / Profit and Loss Statement .
Can any one tell how to proceed?

But exactly I am unable to find which logical database has to be given?

Hi,
If you want to add extra field in your report you can do the setting in Layout selection. If it is not available kinldy check any SAP notes available or not. Otherwise do Zreport with your ABAPer.

OBPM10g - Dynamic selection of web service WSDL or endpoint

I'm consuming a web service in Oracle BPM10g. The user gave me 2 WSDL files: one for DEV and one for UAT environment, they have different file names but the only difference is their respective endpoint. Introspecting the DEV WSDL generated the catalog structure: Services.myWebServiceDev, whereas introspecting the UAT WSDL generated the catalog structure: Services.myWebServiceUat
Right now I am testing in DEV. I have declared instance variables whose type is something like: Services.myWebServiceDev.type1
What will happen when going to UAT? Will I have to declare all my instance variables again but now with the structure generated during UAT WSDL introspection (e.g. Services.myWebServiceUat.type1) and dynamically select what type of variables to use (dev or uat) depending on the server the project is being deployed to?
Or
¿Is there a way to select/change dynamically the endpoint associated to one introspected WSDL so I can only change this endpoint value (in an automatic activity before web service invocation) depending on the deployment server so I don't have to re-declare all my variables again?

Dynamic select list crashes with php

HI All,
I can't seem to get a dynamic select list to work in
dreamweaver. It completly crashes everytime I try adding it to my
page. I found someone else in the forum who had the same problem
but no one ever responded. I've tried several things including
putting just the record set and dynamic select on it's own page
with no other code on it. It still crashes DW. I also tried coding
it myself by making a listmenu and modifying it so that the option
value equals a PHP echo of a value. It crashed there too. Does
anyone have a piece of code with a working dynamic select list that
uses a record set that I could look at? That way I can see where
I'm going wrong. All I'm trying to do is get a simple drop down
select list of employee names so someone can choose their name to
get commission. It's a one table, 2 fields (first & last name)
record set.
Using DW CS3, php & MySQL.,windows XP Pro
Any help would be really appreciated!

I already have tabbed panels. My menu contains buttons (on tabs) and my Content div contains the panels.

Is there a way to keep my tabbed panel (or change as less as possible) and let

B. The loading work.
The problem now is that it loads all pages instead of only the home. Therefore i wanted this Progressive Enhancement.
And the fading part is just because its nice...

Selecting both static and dynamic values in a report.

I am using the following LOV for a select list in a form based on another post (Re: Static and Dynamic LOV ordering
It is presenting five static values along with a dynamic LOV.

The static display and return values do not exist in my_name_table, but the static return values are recorded in my_main_table when the user submits the form.
The tables look like this:

How can I present the display values associated with the static return values recorded in my_main_table along with the dynamic display values in a report? I am currently presenting the dynamic portion in a report using the following select statment:

WHERE my_main_table.NAME_ID = my_name_table.NAME_ID
I have the additional problem that the static return values are not in my_name_table so the join in the last statement will not find the static values in my_name_table.

1. You will need to add an outer join to return all the values in the Main table.
2. Then decode the values for the static LOV.
Something like (this is not tested, but should give you the idea)
select
decode(my_main_table.NAME_ID,1,'NAME_A',2,'NAME_B',3,'NAME_C',4,'NAME_D',5,'NAME_B',(my_name_table.LNAME||', '||my_name_talbe.FNAME)) AS Name
from my_name_table
WHERE my_main_table.NAME_ID = my_name_table.NAME_ID(+)
This will all break if any of your static LOV ID values clash with your dynamic LOV ID values.

Spry:Content and Dynamic Spry Data

Is there a way to get the spry:content attribute to work well
with dynamic data generated from PHP/MySQL? I have read the
progressive enhancement article and I am totally lost on it.
The provided examples in the documentation deal with static
data but there are so example of using spry:content and dynamic
data.
Can anyone help?

HR - dynamic selections field name and field value in the program

I am using dynamic selections for a HR report.
I have created a view with 20 fields and added it to HR report category ___00003(All fields suppressed).
I need to check these fields in the program. But i am not able to get the field name and value in the program for dynamic selections fields.
Please let me know how to get the field names and values in the program for dynamic selections .

You have to read the itab <i>pnpdynse</i> in your Program to obtain the Dynamic Selection values. This itab has a deep structure.. you can set a break point in one of the events before <b>get pernr</b> & in the debug mode, you will able to display the itab <i>pnpdynse</i>.. you can then identify how to get the values into your code..

I tried to have dynamic selection of columns in SQL query using lexical parameter. The hitch is how to print those selected column in excel ouput ?

I have select &col from table_name
Initial value of &col is col1 and in data layout only col1 appears
where &col was replaced with more than a column (col1,col2,col3)
now how to print the column selected at the run time,

The strings replaced by expression <%= v_cell %>
should print the field values contained in col1,col2,col3 columns, but nothing is printed . i think the custom tags (rw...) are not replaced by the jsp expression properly.

Problem in calling FBL3N and passing Dynamic Selection Screen Parameters

Hi Experts,
I am calling the standard report FBL3N in one of my reports using Submit.
I am passing the GLcode, Company code and Open at key Date in the selection screen.
Now my requirement is that I need to pass the Posting Key as '40' in my report.
40 signifies a Debit Entry.
Now the Posting key comes as a Dynamic Selection parameter in the FBL3n program.
I am unable to determine the name of the field to which I should pass the value 40.
Please advice.

Each GL Account belongs to Field status group--> table SKB1.
Each Field Status group will have specific field combinations --> We can get this using the tables TMODO and TMODP.
Pls design ur BDC depending on the values from these table.
(Note: I have done same like this for populating values to dynamic fields ).

I have a requirement of creating such a query in an Utility Class, and i have written the code. But its throwing my sysntax errors.
Please let me know where am I going wrong OR is it really possible to create such a dynamic Query??
    SELECT (FIELDS) INTO TABLE IT_TABLES
      FROM ( (ME->TABLE1) inner join ( me->table2 )
      on ( on_condition ) )
      WHERE (me->where_fields).

It worked for me in a following way:
select * into corresponding fields of table <result_table>
        from (join_string)
        where (l_where).
Where the contents of join_string were dynamically build using concatenation. So it will be something like
concatenate ME->TABLE1 'as a INNER JOIN' me->table2 'as b ON (' into join_string separated by space.
<...>
add here matching/reference colums, something like
concatenate 'a~' me->TABLE1_JOIN_COL into temp1.
concatenate 'b~' me->TABLE2_JOIN_COL into temp2.
concatenate join_string temp1 '=' temp2 into join_string separated by space.
<...>
concatenate join_string ')' into join_string separated by space.
And then use similar approach for l_where variable.
