Spry tabbed panel- align tabbs to the right? is it possible?

I'm working on CS4 and implimented spry tabbed pannel in my site, which is in hebrew-from right to left. how do I change the tabbed pannels to be from r-t-l and not as default?

he issue is that I need the Tabs-to strat on the right side , instead of the left side.

I have Spry Tabbed panels and all my content is suddenly displaying in the first, default tab. Also, the turquoise "Spry Tabbed Panels" is missing from the top of my widget. This has happened on three different pages so far, and all I have found is that I must insert a new tabbed panel. My <div> codes all match up, so I'm stumped. Any help would be really appreciated.

Capturing user clicks within Spry Tabbed Panels
Hi,
I am using the spry tabbed panels with CS3 for the first time
and need to capture when a user clicks on a new tab. I need this to
re-set a PHP variable when the user navigates to a new tab but
cannot see any documented way of getting this trigger.

Spry is a client-side technology; PHP is server-side. To
reset a PHP
variable, you need to communicate with the server. I have
done only very
limited experimentation with using Spry 1.6 to communicate
with PHP on
the server, so can't offer much advice. However, you might
find the
following page points you in the right direction (view the
source code
to see how it's done on the client side):

That example uses onsubmit with a form. I haven't tried it,
but you
should be able to adapt it by using onclick.

Using fade/appear transition in spry tabbed panels
I've implemented the fade/appear transition into a spry
tabbed panel set up. The effect works in that when one clicks on a
tab, the content in that panel will "appear" in using a opacity
transition.
The problem I am encountering is a pre-load of the content..
almost a flicker at 100% opacity... and then the transition from 0%
to 100% resumes. This flicker effect or visible pre-load of the
content really takes away from the effect of the transition.
Does anyone know how to solve this or correct my set up?

Spry Tabbed Panels mangled by IE
I have struggled -- and failed -- to figure out why IE mangles my Spry Tabbed Panel code even though the same code is rendered perfectly by Firefox, Safari, and Dreamweaver's Live View. If you think you can help me out, please take a look at the affected web page:

using Firefox and/or Safari and then look at it using IE. The source code, of course, is available for you to view. I would appreciate any suggestions as to how I can get IE to render the code as the other browsers do. I assume that the problem on IE has something to do with my effort to use the very long photo.since the web page snaps back into the proper position when the second tab panel is activated.
Only the web page provided currently uses Spry Tabbed Panels. The rest of the website is live using only rollover menus. I want to upgrade the website with tabbed panels, but they have to work properly in IE, of course.

However, if you look at my web page -- www.mulinosultevere.com/panorama_tab.htm -- you will see that IE is, in fact, recognizing the Javascript because the second tab panel is rendered correctly. My problem is with the first panel that has the very long photo. Apparently there is a problem with the Javascript/html code itself. I am still looking for a solution :-( .

Spry Menus on Spry Tabbed Panels?
Hi,
I'm designing a site that has major tabs at the top, each of which takes the visitor to an appropriate section of the site... each with a default section overview page and a horizontal nav menu that's appropriate for that section. (This design is similar to going to a site like AT&T and clicking on top tabs for Home, Small Business or Enterprise. Once you've done so, the menu below then presents links appropriate to the Home, Small Business or Enterprise products.) I've been trying to implement this by putting instances of Spry Menus in Spry Tabbed Panels within the TabbedPanelsContentGroup div. Specifically, I have the MenuBarHorizontal class is each TabbedPanelsContent div/class.
I have the basic layout working, but the wiring is mystifying me. Clicking the various tabs indeed presents the correct corresponding menus. But I also need to figure out how to make clicking a section tab go to the section overview page (which happens to also correspond the first menu item, "Overview", in each section). There's no real <a href> kind of option that's apparent in conjunction with the TabbedPanelTabs in the TabbedPanelsGroup. Is there a way to force a particular page to display when switching tabs? Or am I trying to use the wrong tool for the job and there's a better technical approach to implementing this design?
I've tried David Powers' blog entry re "Opening Specific Tabs and Panels from Another Page" (http://foundationphp.com/tutorials/spry_url_utils.php), but it describes exactly what the title implies.

I think I'm going to need to diagram this out!
Let's see...when you say "major tabs at the top" are you referring to a separate MenuBar or are you speaking of Spry Tabbed Panels?
You of course realize that if you are speaking of Spry Tabbed Panels, that EVERYTHING on the panels is on one page. If that is your main organization, yeah, it's a little hairy.
Now, if you have a "normal" one-level set of nav buttons that each takes you to a page that contains a set of Tabbed Panels for that "department," that will get you where you need to be without quite as much mind-blowing follow-the-wire through the wall hijinks, if you know what I mean.
Here is a site that I put together using Spry Tabbed Panels: http://www25.uua.org/uuhs/index.html Although the top "tabs" nav looks like Tabbed Panels tabs, the Tabbed Panels don't start until you get inside the site, and there I use Vertical tabs (on the left side) and on the Panels have put lots of Spry Accordions.
By using this technique, you have an effective "landing page" on each "department" linked to with the top navigation buttons.

Hello, I am using the Spry tabbed panels in Dreamweaver CS4 and when I render in firefox there is a large amount of space at the bottom as if the tabbed panels are allowing space for each subsequent tab - even though the text is in the next tab.

Thank you for your help!First you have some code issues. Run your page through the validator: http://validator.w3.org/ . You can ignore the tabindex one because Spry uses that even though it's not really valid. You can't have an h6 tag inside an h6 tag, you are missing some end tags. CSS seems fine, just the usual Spry items come up.
Make sure all the tags match up and see if you are still having the issue. Also, be aware that there is a version 2 of the Spry Tabbed Panels as part of the Widget Browser (integrated in CS5, separate for CS4 use). Hello, my situation:
I created a livesearch (like the gmail address search) which
echo's into a div. I use an onclick to call another JS file which
echo's a page called product.php into the div.
The spry tabbed panels are placed on the product.php page.
The problem is that the spry js file is ignored by AJAX. This

Formatting Spry Tabbed Panel so tabs appear on the right side
Hi, I know this is a rookie question, but that is because I'm a rookie. How can I format a Spry Tabbed Panel so the tabs appear on the top-right side rather than the default top-left. I found the solution on the Adobe Labs site, but couldn't get it to work. If anyone can please help me with the code or point me in the right direction if I can change it with css. Thanks.

I have a perplexing problem, in firefox the iframe in the spry tabbed panel doesn't work any ideas?
I have made a page with spry tabbed panels, i have embedded an iframe in the content section of the second tab, this works perfectly well with Google, IE, Safari, Opera etc but just doesnt work in Firefox.
If I make the tab panel containing the iframe the Default tab then it works, i just cant figure out why,

How can I insert an existing ApDiv into a tab in the Spry Tabbed Panel?
I have 5 of them all containing nested Apdiv within nested ApDivs (a long storie ) that I would like to insert into 5 tabs in the Spry Tabbed Panel.

Spry Tabbed Panels: Title Tabs shift left, Content Tabs stay positioned correctly, right.
I inserted a clean Spry Tabbed Panel into a virtually empty HTML page (no content). I have a content div (624 px , float left) and sidebar (336 px, float right). When I insert the tabbed panel widget into the sidebar, the Spry Title Tabs go or float to te left, while the content portion of the Spry Tabbed panel stays correctly positioned within the sidebar on the right. I looked at the Spry CSS notes, and mentions something of by default they float the tabs left to allow for future divs without problems?? This problem only shows in Design View (leading me to think I've done something wrong). When viewed in Live View or Browser it looks fine, perfect! I have tried several float and clear combinations, none ave helped. I also deleted the Spry Tabbed CSS as to reset to default. Any Help or Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Design View is not an accurate representation. Don't rely on it. Use Live View and Preview in Browsers.
Incidentally, the Spry framework is gone from DW now. Most people have moved away from Spry to jQuery or commercial widgets.
