Libreoffice not showing all the message texts in menus

Hi,
I use libreoffice Build-ID: 4.2.5.2 Arch Linux build-1 on my laptop and a week ago i noticed that a lot of the text in the menus is not displayed anymore. Also any mouse over texts are empty.
I tried to install some true type fonts but this did not help. Then I installed some more localization packages but this did not help either. What could be the reason for this defect?

What version of libreoffice were you using back when the menu text worked? If it's the same version, maybe an Xorg or Cairo update broke it. Accelerated text sometimes has issues and you can test that by putting
Section "Device"
Option "ExaNoComposite" "true"
EndSection
in an xorg.conf.

How to Disable client side validation for the message text input

Hi,
I have scenario where i need to by pass the client side validation for a message text input
Scenario is
I have a message text input field(say XYZ), i set the max length for the item as 20
Now when im trying to enter the greek characters into it, it is allowing me to enter till 20 characters
But when i try to submit the form ..my client side validation is firing..
The Error says the XYZ is too long
The problem is, in greek each character takes two bytes.(In english it is only 1).While entering the content it allowing 20 characters and when validating it is checking for bytes(if we enter in greek the length will be 40 bytes not 20)
I cannot increase the max length .coz i have restrict the character length to 20 only.(english or Greek).
Please help me in this regard.

Thanks for the information.But we dont have any option either declaratively or programatically to disable the client side validation for the message text input..I referred java docs ..i dint find any method which does..

Safari won't start after showing an error message: Safari can't use the extension "Omnibar" because the extension is no longer valid.

Since yesterday evening (19-01-2015) safari won't start. After clicking the safari application it shows an error message: Safari can't use the extension "Omnibar" because the extension is no longer valid.
This message almost directly disappears whereupon the Problem Report opens. I've tried to find a solution on the web but without succes.
I'm running OS X Yosemite version 10.10.1 and Safari version 8.0.2 on a:
MacBook Pro (Retina 13-inch, Mid 2014)
Processor 3 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB
Since I updated to Yosemite I've been having multiple problems. I already read a clean install will solve most of them. But till then I would love safari to work again.

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
If Safari crashes on launch and you don't have another web browser, you should be able to launch Safari by starting up in safe mode.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those.
After removing the malware, remember to reset your home page in all the web browsers affected, if it was changed.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. You are getting this message because you are trying to create an iCloud account on a PC by signing with your Apple ID. You can only sign into an existing account on a PC. You first have to create iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.5) or higher. After creating your account on one of these devices you will then be able to sign into the account using this ID on your PC.

I was tasked to modify a report wherein in the selection screen
only divisions that the user is authorized to use or is under will be shown.
For example, I am only authorized for divisions 02, 15 and 16 since they
fall in sales org 1000 and I am under sales org 1000. So when I click on
the division parameter in the selection-screen, only those divisions will be shown.
So how do I check if a user who runs this report belongs to a certain division? And
after checking I will only show the valid divisions and not all the divisions.
Anyway, below is my selection-screen:

In general different users will be given different authorizations based on their role in the orgn.
We create ROLES and assign the Authorization and TCODES for that role, so only that user can have access to those T Codes.
USe SUIM and SU21 T codes for this.
Much of the data in an R/3 system has to be protected so that unauthorized users cannot access it. When you log on to the R/3 system, the system checks in the user master record to see which transactions you are authorized to use. This Authorization concept is somewhat linked with BASIS people.
As a developer you may not have access to access to SU21 Transaction where you have to define, authorizations, Objects and for nthat object you assign fields and values. Another Tcode is PFCG where you can assign these authrization objects and TCodes for a profile and that profile in turn attached to a particular user.
Take the help of the basis Guy and create and use.

Spry Validation - using a valid state image

Hello,
I have been looking through Adobe labs and spry documentation but I cant seem to find a way to use an image as an indication of the valid state of a form. I have seen disscussions on this forum about using adobes labs sample. I have looked at adobe labs sample and the source code but for some reason the spry css look's different to mine. I dont seem to has a "validmsg" class style.
I would be grateful if someone could walk me through the process of using images instead of the default color change of the input boxes on validation.

If you wish to use an image then the first step is to create the image you wish to show.
Once this is done, create your required fields validation as per the spry documentation (also included in the CS4 documentation).
Then after each input field where you wish your image to show (when valid), insert the following line -
<img src="link to your image" title="valid" alt="valid" class="validMsg" border="0"/>
Don't worry about the css, as spry does this for you.

Dear nokia, when i try to download games from ovi store (from my game menu option) it shows "no valid certificate" what 's the problem? I try to download prince of persia, some puzzle games, raceing games. Most of the time i received that message. How can i able to download? Please slove.

First check that your device date, time and time zone are correct.
Check that your device has the latest software installed via Nokia Suite or go to settings > phone > device updates > downl. phone sw.

Ignore it. 'itunes:order' is a recent addition which FeedValidator doesn't know about. If your podcast is rejected that is unlikely to be the reason. Of course as you haven't posted the feed URL nor the text of the error message I can't make any further comment.

IPhone not showing contacts names in text messaging after sync AND reset

Three days ago, I bought the iPhone 4S as an updgrade from the 3GS. I also transferred my wireless service plan from AT&T to Verizon. Since doing that, very strange things are happening. For example, my contacts appeared to transfer without a problem, but whenever I attempt a call to a number that does not have a "1" stored in front of it, it tells me that I am attempting a long-distance or international call and the call won't go thru unless I place a 1 in front of the number and store it that way. Also, whenever I send text messages and someone replies, their message comes back to my phone under the phone number only and not the name that is stored in my contacts. This happens even when the contact sends a direct message to me that is not a reply. (Imagine all the "Merry Christmas" messages I received yesterday that I have no idea who they were from, except the 5 out of 300 contacts whose numbers I have memorized!!) I have gone to the Apple Store and the "Genius" there reset my phone, which temporarily fixed the problem, but now it is back. I did a soft reset, now it randomly selects which names will show up in my text message window. (For example, yesterday, the name "Jane" shows a message that says "Merry Christmas", but after the reset, only Jane's number shows up in the text screen with the same message from yesterday.)
Does anyone know what in the world is going on?? This is Very Annoying! I'm tempted to go back to AT&T, as I am being told that the iphone technology, even for 4S, is not as compatible on Verizon as it is with AT&T. Please help!

Not sure about the random contact name problem. I suspect a bad database. Use iTunes to delete and replace your contacts with a good list. If that doesn't work, do a 100% software reset and don't restore a backup, setup as a new device. Finally, if that fails go back to the apple store. The issue is not software fixable and the unit should be replaced.
The other issue with 1 dialing required... are you roaming? Disable wifi, should say Verizon 3G in the status bar.
When you are off your home area cell network, you are not dealing with Verizon directly.
Edit: your last question about using a Verizon 4S on AT&T's network. You are correct, out of the box the Verizon 4S is locked to only work on Verizon's network. The AT&T 4S and Sprint 4S have the same locks. You can purchase an unlocked iPhone directly from apple. I've also heard of people convincing Sprint customer service to unlock their phones for use out of the country,

Gmail message text box does not show up when I click on message to read it. Text will appear quoted if I click in Reply box.

When I open Gmail, I get the usual list of messages. When I click on a message to read it, everything appears as usual except the box with the message text in it. To see that text, I have to click in the Reply box, and then I'll see the original message text quoted.
This is true on three different Gmail accounts. I've not changed any Gmail settings. I have enabled and disabled various extensions and User Styles that affect Gmail, and turned off Greasemonkey, without effect.
Yesterday I did update Java 7 update 10, but Gmail was still working after that. I did install several new extensions at that time, but I tried disabling them and restarting, and the problem persisted.

What does this mean? All files are closed; this iMovie project is the only thing open. Does it mean one of the song files from iTunes? And should I just settle for saving it as a "large" file, which is what I'm trying right now?

Why do deleted contacts still show when starting new text messages?

I have an iPhone 4s. I've deleted many contacts but if I start a new text message that begins with the letter of someones contact I deleted, they show up. How can this history be deleted? I have a friend with an iPhone 5 and this does not happen on that model.

just thought you like to know having apple do a hard reset to my phone didn't fix the problem I still have the deleted contact show up when I text anyone who has the same letters in their name. Infact the apple store employees and phone operators told me I completely stumped them and they have no idea how to fix this since that contact does not show up anywere else and a hard reset also failed. they said that eventually maybe my phone will fix itself with one of there upgrades but if I should figure out how to fix it on my own to please let them know how I did it.

How to show a field value and a message text in a message box

I have made a message box that shows the value of a text field when a button is clicked. I would like to add some message text to the message box as well, so that my message box will show something like:
You have entered this data: "textField value"
This script works to show the text field value but I cannot figure out how to combine it with an ordinary message box text message. I have tried various combinations of () and “ “ but no luck.
