SQ01 query help..

Dear All,
I created a query with SQ01 and added a new fied using calculations from standard fields (with short texts).
I mentioned calculation formula as (PO QTY - GR QTY) = Balance quantity.
In layout output displaying - as Balance quantity , but problem is...
look at the below example output as it ease showing in report..
PO QTY     GRN QTY    BAL QTY
100                 10                  90
100                 50                  50
100                 30                  70
100                 05                  95
400                 95               305
Where as it should has to show balance quantitiy 5 only (since Purchase order for 100 and Goods receipt for 95). But system adding line item wise quantities. Please suggest is there any solution where is the system should calculate by single po quanitty and all goods receipt quantities and gives balance quantity only. (ECC 6). Any formula to calculate for the balance quantity as desired.

Is their anyway to have the field MSEG-ERFMG show up on the query results as postive or negative color or use a "-" or "+". Need to try and show whether is was a negative or postive movement.

I guess the "sign" is defined trough this field ("S" - sollen (debit), "H" - haben (credit)). If my assumption is true, you won't be able to see + / - in MSEG-ERFMG simply because this field contains no information on the sign.
Using ABAP code you can solve it (or in SQ01 you can use calculated field in your query...I'm not sure you can define that calculated field to cover your requirement...).

Output of SQ01 Query to a file in background

Hello,
I have created a SQ01 query for a certain specific outpur from my SAP system. I need to get the output of this query to a file. While i have tried executing this report from the frontend; it works smoothly, and based on the variant it creates the output and writes to a file at a remote location. But while i am trying to process the same query using background job, it creates a spool request and doesnt export the data to a file.
Can someone please help me in getting me right in case i am doing anything wrong.

Hi,
SAP have created a standard program RSTXPDFT4 to convert your Sapscripts spools into a PDF format.
Specify the spool number and you will be able to download the sapscripts spool into your local harddisk.
It look exactly like what you see during a spool display.
Please note that it is not restricted to sapsciprts spool only. Any reports in the spool can be converted using the program 'RSTXPDFT4'.

SQ02 Infoset returns different results in SQ01 Query vs. Segment Builder TG

I want to get Segment Builder to use the same InfoSet and return the same results so, that I can then make a Target Group...but, I'm sure I'm missing some step along the way.
My SQ01 query returns 79 contact persons, but my segment builder only finds 42, none of which appear to actually be the Contact Person, but are in fact the Business Partner the Contact Person has a Relationship to.
I started by copying the CRM_MKTTG_BP_ADDR InfoSet and added the BUT051 table to it, which is when the SQ01 began returning the needed results.
I suspect the problem may be in the Master Group where I am using the B2B/B2C Program, but I don't know if that's the answer or not. I am not declaring an FM as I am using the BP-GUID in the data source, so I don't 'think' that's the issue...
Here's what I'm currently trying as my Data Source settings in case that will help:
Origin Type              03 InfoSet
RFC dest.
Name of InfoSet          ZCRM_MKTTG_BP_ADDR
Business Partner         BUT000-PARTNER_GUID

I already read every Segment Builder forum thread and the Sap Library on the subject, but either I missed something or there is a step not listed.

SQ01-query - how to join MARA and DRAD

Hi all,
my problem is that I have to create a sq01 query in which I combine data from the MARA
with data from DRAD. But I can't join the OBJKY (DRAD) with the MATRN (MARA).

Hi Barbara,
As mentioned in the previous post, you cannot join the OBJKY field with MATNR field of MARA.
But if you want to just read the contents in OBJKY from DRAD, then have a look at the below code:
Note: In the initial step of creating your infoset, just select direct read from table & select on MARA here.
SELECT SINGLE DOKNR INTO T_DOKNR
FROM DRAD
WHERE OBJKY EQ MARA-MATNR
AND DOKOB EQ 'MARA'
AND DOKAR EQ (Specify the type of document for this).
Now you can combine the fields MATNR, T_DONR & the Z field into the field which you want using the CONCATENATE statement.

Adding a function module into a SQ01 Query

Hi ABAP Gurus,
I was trying to extract few dates from TSEGE Table, by linking the VTTK - HANDLE. We are trying to look at maintaining dates of shipment that were not previously used in our company.
When I tried extracting the dates from TSEGE, they come as timestamped UTC. I was told to use the function module IB_CONVERT_FROM_TIMESTAMP with CET in a query by an external consultant we use for our services. I am familiar with creating simple queries in SQVI and convert them to SQ01, also I know to create queries in SQ01 itself. But do not know how to add a function module into an SQ01 Query.
After checking a few threads, I realise that I should be creating a field and entering the code of the function module.
Is there any way, anybody could instruct me in simple terms how do I go about adding a function module.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I hope the above codes are correct. If yes, I have a doubt: TSEGE-EVEN_TSTFR & TSEGE-EVEN_TSTTO have different time in the same field, "Actual" & "Forecast", which is determined by TSEGE-EVEN_VERTY wherein 1 is Actual and 0 is Forecast. Is this something I would have to put in the code, or something that would work in the query "Selection Fields"?

It seems I have confused enough people with my improper presentation of query. Sorry guys. I will restate my question with different table names.
The above was my previous posting, which was not clear..so Iam restating my problem as follows....
I have the following tables
Customer(custID, Name, Address)
Order(custID, OrderID, orderDate)
CreditCard(custID, creditCard#, creditCardType)
Now if I have 3 records in Order with custID 100 and 2 records in CreditCard as

Now how can I get
custID, Name, Address, OrderID, orderDate, creditCard#, creditCarType
data in minimum no. of records....

You are right.
But frankly the actual tables on my database are not customer,orders and creditcards..but I just tried to reproduce the problem with these tables, please ignore that user needs a refund etc situtaion. If the tables were actually order,creditcards etc..it would have been a problem to be considered.

if I have m rows in Order and n rows in CreditCard. I will get m*n records, I looking for max(m,n).
With the following fields in my query result,

If current_production_status is 0 it means the manufacturer does not have any discontinued models and all are in procuction.
The rule is only one record per manufacturer is allowed to have a current_production_status of 1 (so only one model from the selection the manufactuer offers is allowed to be discontinued).
So the query should output the one row where current_production_status is 1 for each manufacturer.
If for a given manufacturer there are no discontinued models and all have a current_production_status of 0 then ouput a SINGLE row that only includes the data from the COMPANY table (as above). The rest of the columns from the MODELS table should be populated with a '-' (hyphen).
My query as it is above will output all the records where current status is 1 or 0 like this

Ford               1902                    USA               Escort               10000               1992          1

When I run the query above I get all the rows where current_production_status is either 1 or 0.
I only require the rows where current_production_status is 1.
So if I amend it to look like this:
     and mod.current_production_status = 1This works....
BUT if a user now passes in more than one manufacturer EG:
and com.manufacturer IN ('Ford', 'BMW')The query will only return the one row for Ford where current_production_status is 1. However because BMW has no models where current_production_status is 1 (all 3 are 0), I still want this to be output - as one row....
So like this:
com.manufacturer        com.date_established          com.location          mod.model          mod.price             mod.year     mod.current_production_status
Ford               1902                    USA               Escort               10000               1992          1
BMW               1910                    Germany               -               -               -          0So (hopefully you understand), I want both cases to be catered for.....whether a user enters one manufacturer or more than one...

SQ01 query - Drilldown total level larger than 0 and drilldown function

Hi everybody,
I have made a sq01 query and set the call up report at "Report assignment" function. The drilldown total level of my query is 1 and I found that this makes the report can't pass the selected data (with cursor) to the receiver report correctly. I can't change the drilldown total level as 0 due to the user requirement. May I ask is there any other way to solve this problem? Thank you.

i have two tables
the 1st table will look like this
associate id weekid no.of. hours
4000 810 40
4000 820 30
4000 830 60
4000 840 70
2nd table will look like this
associate id weekid no.of.hours
4000 810 40
4000 820 70
4000 830 130
4000 840 200
so when i subtract the last two records frm each other in the second table the value should be equal to the no.of.hours in the first table.. for example
the query shud consider the last record and one before the last record and the difference between two records shud be equal to the value in the 1st table
for example
consider week id 830 and 840
in second table 830=130
840=200
when u subtraced both values the difference shud be equal to value in the 1st table for tht week id
1 ---->>>> 840 - 830
=200 - 130
=70
in first table 840 has 70 hrs
like this it shud check with all records and it shud return only the records which are not equal

Need help with sq01 query for FI data

i have created a simple query whihc requires document header and line item information , bkpf and bsis works for this, but another requirement is that business needs vendor and customer accounts to be displayed also .
bsis does not have vendor and customer , bseg has this info but bseg cannot be used in query ,

How to add a "Maximum no. of hits" - field in SQ01 query?

Hi all,
Is it generally possible to add the field "maximum no. of hits" to a query / quickview in transaction SQ01? And if yes, how?
I have created a test query but I cannot find any solution. I don't mean the popup asking for database accesses which occurs when trying to test this query. I really want to have it as selection criteria.
My system is a R/3 Enterprise 4.7 Ext. Set 2.00.

Define an elementary search help and assign to this one a dialog mode (retriction or set of values).
