SQL connection error ( probably ) due to Internal battery changed?

Hi
We have an application written in C# 2005 that use an Sql Server 2005 database with Windows authentication mode
Our customer with Windows XP sp3 used our software for a long time without any problem but he needs to change the PC internal battery and after this operation the application is not able to connect with database. I tried to uninstall all SQL server componets
and instance, and reinstall them again but it doesn't work. I think is something related to the clock time of last access to database that is in some ways influencing the connection.
What can we do?
Regards

I tried with your suggestion with SQLCMD - S (localhost)\TEST
Microsoft Windows XP [Sürüm 5.1.2600]

shing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failu
re may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not
 allow remote connections..
Sqlcmd: Error: Microsoft SQL Native Client : Login timeout expired.
This is the code
server = new SQLDMO.SQLServer();
server.LoginSecure = true;
                // Connessione al server
server.Connect(In_sNomeIstanza, In_Utente, In_Password);
                string cs1 = "Server=(local)\\TEST;Trusted_Connection=yes";
                Sqlcon = new SqlConnection(cs1);
// THROW GENERIC EXCEPTION ????
                if (Sqlcon == null)
                    MessageBox.Show("a4", "");
                    return false;
                else
                    Sqlcon.Open();
return( true );
Thank you very much for your help!!!

  • SQL connection Error 3115

    Out of the blue my app stopped fetching the info from my ZIP file... it use to work, but since i changed the content of the zip file (added some rows) it doesn't work anymore.
    PPl are talking about the a problem in AIRSQL that new antry sometimes don't get recongized and create column type problems etc...
    Now i am very puzzle with all of this because i don't know where i can find a SQLmanager to play with the D created by my app, i don't even understand how the damn thing understand that [col4 = email] in my excel...is there hidden code in the excel?? is it the MXML code that just fetch col by number?? is it the database that has the col specs??
    so i have a lot of holes in my understanding of that task executed by my app (the employee directory) can anybody  point me on a tut or help file that would clear that out??

    maybe just pointing me out the way of debugging errors like that!

    So sth is causing the insertion of new data or table in my SQL to bug?

  • Dreamweaver 8 SQL Connection errors

    Hi.. I am trying to use Dreamweaver 8 to connect to my SQL
    Database hosted by Servage.net
    When Dreamweaver tries to connect to the database, it puts
    files into a folder called _mmServerScripts and uses them to
    connect.
    When I try to connect to test the database connection,
    Dreamweaver gives me a 404 error saying thqat it cannot find the
    file htp://www.domainname.com/_mmServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.php that it
    has put even though I can see it and a couple of others in the
    Online Filemanager and wneh I put the URL into my browser
    I have also tried to give the files full (777) rights and
    changed the owner to 'Webserver' to see if it was a rights problem
    without any luck.
    Even though this error pops up during testing, dreamweaver
    still shows the database connection in the database window and when
    I attempt to connect, it shows no errors but dies not find any
    tables within the database and I know that they are there... I can
    see them in phpMyAdmin.

    Update:
    I contacted Servage Support regarding this problem and the
    responded with:
    "Due to security considerations we do not allow connections
    to our mysql server from outside our network. If we did allow this
    the security of our systems would be affected."
    but as far as I can see it, the SQL database is accessed via
    the php pages uploaded to the website.. so as far as I can see, the
    database is then connected to loacally (at the server) is this
    correct??
    is there another way to connect to the database or should I
    create the database locally and upload it? or would this cause
    linking problems later?

  • SQL connection errors when stress testing mobile service: SQL failure after 3 attempts

    I have created a Mobile Service (node.js), which has been running for a few months with 50-100k api calls per day with no issues.
    The usage of the service will be scaled up soon, and it will receive much higher traffic, so I am running stress tests (on a staging deployment of the same service).
    The api in question queries data from the sql database that is attached to the mobile service, but caches the resulting data in a redis database for 5 minutes, so each call with identical parameters will not access the SQL database, just the redis cache.
    My first test never has any problems:
    Run a single api calls as fast as possible using the program wrk (https://github.com/wg/wrk). This test never has a problem, and I have run it an hour continuously with a sustained rate of 200 req/s and very few timeout errors.
    The second test always causes problems:
    I created a list of 5 different api calls to the same service (same endpoint, but different parameters), and I run those randomly interweaved as fast as possible. I use the program locust (http://locust.io) for this, spawing 10.000 clients at a rate of 500
    per second. For the first few seconds everything goes ok, but then connections start failing massively.
    I get mostly:
    Error: SQL failure after 3 attempts. Error: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]TCP Provider: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected
    host has failed to respond.
     (SqlState: 08001, Code: 10060)
    And I see this in the http response:
    ConnectionError(ProtocolError('Connection aborted.', gaierror(8, 'nodename nor servname provided, or not known')),)
    The strange thing is that since I am running the same five calls repeatedly, only the very first of each call will actually access the sql database, every subsequent call will just return data directly from redis, and not try to access the sql database at
    all.
    In the azure console for the sql database in question, I see 1860 successful connections and 11 failed connections, which does not explain the massive failure rate I am seeing.

    Thanks for sharing your tips on this forum, as it will be useful for other users, that run into this issue.
    Feedback like this will also help us improve error reporting in the next release, as missing class files in the packaged application is a common issue when developers are moving from the embeded oc4j instance packaged with JDewveloper to standalone instances.

    I have been working on this last week and cannot get this to work, I plan to call MS and pay a big chunk of money as I have to get it working. Thought I would run it by here to see if it is something I am missing. First, I do not work with SQL much, most customers that us it have the vendor that needs it for their software to do the install. Which I assist with, but very limited on my part.I have a 2012 R2 standard server, running AD, with Symantec Backup Exec 2015 installed. All working well. Now we are getting new software that needs SQL 2012 standard / full version, to run. During install I read the Warning about install on a DC, I read the articles on Spice Works and others on internet. This is small office, 5 users on the network, I don't think it will be too much for the server and want to try. I don't think my problem is related...

  • Essbase Studio Cube Deployment SQL Connection Error

    Hello,
    Has anyone seen this error in studio.
    Failed to deploy Essbase cube
    Caused By: Failed to build Essbase cube dimension: (Accounts)
    Caused By: Cannot incremental build. Essbase Error(1021001): Failed to Establish Connection With SQL Database Server. See log for more information
    I connected to the SQL database without issue creating the data source and I can view the sample data on the dimension element. The only time I have a connection issue is during cube deployment. The log is no help.
    Thanks

    Hi Celvin
    Thanks for your reply.
    I can connect from the same Essbase Server from the data source connection used in the Essbase Studio console.
    I am not using any encrypted passwords.
    I can log into MaxL with no issues, but running trying to execute the following command is where I get the error.
    deploy all from model 'GL_Analysis' in cube schema '\ANALYSIS\Schema\Schema' with option delete_members login $1 identified by $2 on host 'server1' to application 'test1' database 'test1' overwrite values using connection 'essbaseserver' keep 200 errors on error ignore dataload write to default;
    It allows me to connect and deploy sucessfully using the Maxl installed from the Essbase client version 11.1.2.2. However running the MaxL installed from the  Essbase client MaxL version 11.1.2.3 seems to provide me with the connection issue. I am trying to determine if it is a bug or something that was missed during upgrade process.
    Currently we need to deploy via the Studio.
    Thanks.

  • Since I installed Nero 2104 I get an error message when I try to start iTunes: registry settings changed probably due to other cd/dvd burning program please reinstall iTunes, which I've done using repair option but the problem persists...?

    Since I installed Nero 2014 I get an error message when I start iTunes that registry settings for importing and burning cds/dvds have changed probably due to other burning software installed please reinstall iTunes, which I've done using 'repair' option, but the problem persists. I have been able to import cds to iTunes since I installed Nero, but it won't anymore. Does anyone recognize this problem and have a solution? Thanks for any help. Using Windows 7.

    I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)
    iTunes for Windows: "Registry settings" warning when opening iTunes
    If you're still getting the error message (especially when you plug in the Touch), I'd check for a device filter confusion on the PC. (They can affect the connection of USB devices to a PC, as well as burning and importing CDs.) For that one, see:

    And when I try to connect my iPhone to iTunes, I can't. It just says: iTunes Cannot connect to iPhone due to unknown error (0xE8000065)
    Any suggestions? I replaced the battery hoping that would do the trick, but nada.

    Did you try a different charger and a different cable? If it won't charge the error will go away soon also when the battery dies.

    This is a connectivity issue for sure. Would also check the sqlnet.log.

  • BO Error - Connection or SQL sentence error (DA0005)

    Hi All,
    I am facing an issue while connecting to BO -
    Connection or SQL sentence error (DA0005)
    Exception: DBD, ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout occuredState: N/A
    Funny thing is, this error occurs on some machines, whereas on some it does not. There, BO works pretty smooth. We tried exchanging the TNS files between machines, tried matching the firewall rules, but nothing works.
    Any ideas on why this is happening? Thanks a lot in advance!
    Cheers,
    Akshay

    Our issue seems very similar to yours. The errors we have are:
    Connection or SQL sentence error (DA0005). Unable to create connection.
    or
    A connection required to refresh this document is unavailable (DA0004)
    or
    Cannot open file due to unknown error (FRM0007)
    I've tried lots of posts on google but couldn't find proper solution.
    Desperately looking for help as the users are just not able to work with this kind of errors
    and there's still time for us to commence the upgrade.
    Wondering what's your environment. Ours as below:
    BOXI R2 sp6
    Database: Oracle 11g
