SQL Loader Exception while loading Partitioned table

Hi,
I have a table EMP and it has year wise partitions created based on creation_date column.
Now, I using SQL Loader to load bulk data using Java Program. But I am getting SQLLoader Exception. When I drop partition on the table, same code is working fine.
Do I need to do anything extra for the partitioned table?
Please help me.
Thanks

SQL Loader should produce a log file with an error code(s) in it. Check for that.

Many Thanks for the reply-It's working now
I added the MySQL connector in the following manner
1)Open the Tom Cat server console by Selecting 'Servers' in Package Explorer
    2)Right Click 'Tomcat v5.5 at localhost.server'
3)Select 'Open Launch Configuration' under 'General Information'
4)Select the 'Classpath' tab in the Edit configuration window that opens
5)Select 'Add External Jars' and add the required connector

  • Data load failed while loading data from one DSO to another DSO..

    Hi,
On SID generation data load failed while loading data  from Source DSO to Target DSO.
Following are the error which is occuuring--
    Value "External Ref # 2421-0625511EXP  " (HEX 450078007400650072006E0061006C0020005200650066
Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT, InfoObject 0BBP
So, i'm  not getting  WHY in one DSO i.e Source  it got successful but in another DSO i.e. Target its got failed??
While analyzing all i check that SIDs Generation upon Activation is ckecked in source DSO but not in Target DSO..so it is reason its got failed??
    Please explain..
    Thanks,
    Sneha

    Hi,
I hope your data flow has been designed in such a way where the 1st DSO as a staging Device and all transformation rules and routine are maintained in between 1st to 2nd dso and sid generation upon activation maintained in 2nd DSO.  By doing so you will be getting your data 1st DSO same as your source system data since you are not doing any transformation rules and routine etc.. which helps to avoid data load failure.
    Please analyze the following
Have you loaded masterdata before transaction data ... if no please do it first
go to the property of first dso and check whether there maintained sid generation up on activation (it may not be maintained I guess)
Goto the property of 2nd Dso and check whether there maintained sid generation up on activation (It may be maintained I hope)
    this may be the reason.
Also check whether there is any special char involvement in your transaction data (even lower case letter)
    Regards

  • SQL Loader problem while loading records from txt file to database table.

I am getting following error while loading records from flat txt file into database table with the help of 'sqlldr' command. • Sql* Loader syntax to load data into a partitioned table

    Hi All,
I was trying to load data from a csv file to a partitioned table.
    The table name is countries_info
    columns :
    country_code ,
    country_name,
    country_language
The column country_code is list partitioned with partition p1 for values 'EN','DE','IN' etc
and partition p2 for 'KR','AR','IT' etc.
I tried to load data into this table, but I was getting some error Message (not mapping to partitioned key).
    I tried syntax
    load data
    infile 'countries.csv'
    append
    into table countries_info
    partition(p1) ,
    partition(p2)
    fields terminated by ','
    country_code ,
    country_name,
    country_language
What is the correct syntax- I searched a lot but have not been able to find out.

    Hi All,

In your case, although you didn't specifiy the exact ORA you recived, it sounds like [ORA-14400|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/search.jspa?threadID=&q=ORA-14400&objID=f61&dateRange=all&userID=&numResults=15&rankBy=10001]
What is the correct syntax- I searched a lot but have not been able to find out. It's not about correct syntax , it's about understanding message that was trying to tell you that something went wrong.
That message was (i guess) ORA-14400.
So, refering to that ORA message , you will need to add new partition ,
where the data from your csv file that currently don't map to any of the specified partition would fit ,
or add partition that would be able to accept data range in which value/s for which you received that ORA message could fit into.

are you trying to run incremental load when you get this truncate error? can you re-run full load and see that still runs ok? pls also check your DW side database logs like alert lor any DB level issue. such errors do not throw friendly messages in DAC/Informatica side.

  • SQL*LOADER ERROR WHILE LOADING ARABIAN DATA INTO UNICODE DATABSE

    Hi,
I was trying to load arabic data using sql*loader and the datafile is in .CSV format. But i am facing a error Value to large for a column while loading and some data are not loaded due to this error. My target database character set is..
    Characterset : AL32UTF8
    National Character set: AL16UTF16
    DB version:-10g release 2
    OS:-Cent OS 5.0/redhat linux 5.0
I have specified the characterset AR8MSWIN1256/AR8ISO8859P6/AL32UTF8/UTF8 separately in the sql*loader control file, but getting the same error for all the cases.
I have also created the table with CHAR semantics and have specified the "LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR" in the sql*loader control file but again same error is coming.
I have also changed the NLS_LANG setting.
I am getting stunned that the data that i am goin to load using sql*loader, it is resided in the same database itself. But when i am generating a csv for those datas and trying to load using sql*loader to the same database and same table structure,i am getting this error value too large for a column.
whats the probs basically???? whether the datafile is problemetic as i am generating the csv programmetically or is there any problem in my approach of loading unicode data.
    Please help...

Here's what we know from what you've posted:
    1. You may be running on an unsupported operating system ... likely not the issue but who knows.
    2. You are using some patch level of 10gR2 of the Oracle database but we don't know which one.
    3. You've had some kind of error but we have no idea which error or the error message displayed with it.
    4. You are loading data into a table but we do not have any DDL so we do not know the data types.
Perhaps you could provide a bit more information.
    Perhaps a lot more. <g>

  • PL/SQL missing symbol while loading external library

I have followed all the steps in creating external library in PL/SQL i.e. configuring Listerner, TNSNAMES.ORA etc. etc.
While invoking a function call on this external library, I am getting a missing symbol error :
ORA-06520: PL/SQL: Error loading external library

    ORA-06512: at "EQMIG.QUARTZSQLADAPTER", line 0
    ORA-06512: at line 12
This missing symbol "Fneeded32" is located in a tuxedo shared lib. The path of tuxedo library (libfml32.so) has already been put in the env var LD_LIBRARY_PATH, but still Oracle is not looking into this library !
Is there any way where I can define dependency of QUARTZSQLADAPTER on libfml32.so ?? Or make oracle use load this library while loading QUARTZSQLADAPTER ??

Is the path to libfml32.so accessible to the oracle o/s user and the so itself readable/loadable by oracle?
You neglected to supply any details of platform and versions - please always do. Full Oracle version and version of o/s.
If you are using Oracle 64bit (quite likely on Unix flavours), confirm that libfml32.so is a 64bit so. If 32bit then the loadlibrary call will fail as 32bit objects cannot be natively loaded into a 64bit process image.

  • Class loading exceptions while importing Spring, EHCache in BPMStudio 10g

    Hi,
We are facing Class loading / Class NOt Found exceptions while importing Spring.jar and EHCache.jar in BPMStudio 10g Catalog and BPM Enterprise Server 10g. Java classes are bundled in an external JAR file. This JAR is referencing Spring and EHCache library. This Java component is invoked from an automatic activity in BPM process. Task execution is failing in BPM workspace in Studio and Enterprise server.
We tried copying the JARS in the following folders. But nothing is working.
    D:\OraBPMStudioHome\lib
    D:\OraBPMStudioHome\ext
    D:\OraBPMStudioHome\webapps\workspace\WEB-INF\lib
    D:\OraBPMStudioHome\webapps\workspace\WEB-INF\classes
    <Enterprise_Server_WL_Home>/server/<Domain_Lib>

    Ariel,
You are right. I have already added the JARS as external resource. I am getting the errors while cataloging Java component in BPM Studio in a Catalog Module. I am able to add Log4J Jar as an external resource and catalog the resource as java component. In case one JAR has a dependency on another JAR it is failing to catalog. In Eclipse or Weblogic Workshop 10g, we can add multiple JARS in the Project classpath and it works fine. In case of BPM Studio, we are getting Class Loading or ClassNotFound errors while cataloging multiple JAR files
    Thanks

... 8 moreand after that JVM exits. But after I press F5 the same applet is being loaded correctly.
So question is: is there any possibility to handle exceptions during loading so I can call javascript to reload applet?

It's nasty, but problem is that exceptions are absolutely random: first one I got only once, second with "Pipe is already shut down" I get more regularly but again without any pattern (and I never got it in IE, only Firefox). And my co-worker for example never got any of them. So it's sort of workaround for unexpected behavior and I'd be grateful if you tell me how to detect exceptions using javascript.
But anyway we load applet using JNLP with "progress-class" and using pack200 for some jars.

  • Indesign debug version(64 bit) throws exception while loading pluggin

I build a sample plugin in Microsoft Visual Studios 2010 in debug X64 mode and copied the generated files from debugX64 folder to the plugin folder inside indesign folder.
But In-design is throwing exception in loading the plugin. Any help will be appreciated. Please note that same plugin when compiled and released using release version of indesign is working.

The issue was I trying to load 64 bit pluggin into 32 bit version of Indesign. Got resolved after loading into correct version.

    how to solve this one

    Hi, vanaja,
"inserted value too large for column" - this is the reason for the exception. That is, you are trying to persist a value that exceeds the table column capacity.
What you can do is reduce the length of the data element you want to update, or, 2) first increase the relevant column maximum length, then try to update the table again.
If you choose 2), and if you are using the system database, then you can use Java Dictionary and follow [THIS|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/fe/53fb40f17af66fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm] procedure to increase the maximum length of a column.
    Hope that helps!
    Regards,
    Yordan

  • Map Loader error while loading catalogue

XM 5800, latest firmware, Maps 3 installed and working OK. I get "Error while loading catalogue for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic" whenever I start Map Loader 3.
Uninstalled/reinstalled Map Loader 3 several times.
Tried suggested fixes of deleting qf and cities folder then running Maps to recreate file structure.
Tried it on a Windows 7 PC with PC Suite and also a Vista PC with Ovi Suite. Same error message.
I am left without the ability to download any maps except over the air as I go incurring data charges.
So I may as well just use Google maps!
I see in the discussion groups this issue comes up for many different Nokia phones occasionally but I have never seen a solution.
    Anyone?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Just when I thought Nokia Care technical support knew what they were doing!!!!
About 4pm NZ time yesterday, after the Map Loader server had been working for about 3 to 4 hours and everything was fine. I got a call from Nokia tech support. I was on the other line so they left a message.
"Sorry, its not going to work because map loader is not completely compatible with Windows 7"
and my email support thread finally pointed me to a "Solution" discussion board entry detailing a fix for Maps 2. You had to download the latest version of Map Loader 2.02!!!!! That was really helpful considering we are on 3.03 and 3.0.28 respectively
So it all stating to work again may have just been coincidence and nothing to do with our support calls! :-<
Oh well at least its working. Now all I have to fix is the MTP USB Device driver failing.
    Cheers
    Brian
