SQLException when execute CREATE LOGIN Command

Dear Friends,
I have connected the MSSQL Server Database through java program using the following connection code.
String loginName = "login1";
String password = "pass1";
String connectionString = "jdbc:sqlserver://C-1120\\SQLEXPRESS:1433;databaseName=TESTDB2;applicationName=SQLConnectionExpress;"
DriverManager.registerDriver (new com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver());
conn = DriverManager.getConnection(connectionString, userName,pass);
String selectQry = "CREATE LOGIN TEST_LOGIN1 WITH PASSWORD = 'PASSWORD1'";
stmt = conn.createStatement();
stmt.execute(selectQry);When i execute the above program, i got following SQLExpection,
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: User does not have permission to perform this action.
If i execute the same command (CREATE LOGIN) using the above loginName (login1) in MS SQL Server, it executes fine.
But if i execute through program I got an above exception.
Could any one pls help me to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance...

i got it. Hade to put security off in enterprise manager.

  • Security context issue when executing a SQL command in SQLCMD

    Simplified core issue below:
    I have myscript.sql that has:
    SELECT name FROM Sys.Databases
    GO
    USE mydatabase
    GO
    EXEC mystoredprocedure 'myparameter'
    GO
    When I open cmd.exe and use:
    SQLCMD -S localhost\myinstance -i script.sql
    It executes fine.
    When I open cmd.exe in C# using the Process class and execute the same command I get the following error:
    name
    master
    tempdb
    model
    msdb
    mydatabase
    (5 rows affected)
    Msg 916, Level 14, State 1, Server localhost\myinstance, Line 1
    The server principal "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" is not able to access the database "mydatabase" under the current security context.
    Msg 2812, Level 16, State 62, Server localhost\myinstance, Line 1
    Could not find stored procedure 'mystoredprocedure'.
    And now the detailed explaination:
    I created an MSI which installs my custom application.
    During the bootstrap process, SQL Server 2012 Express is installed using the following parameters:
    /INSTANCEID="SQLEXPRESS"
    /ACTION="Install"
    /FEATURES=SQLEngine,Replication
    /HELP="False"
    /INDICATEPROGRESS="False"
    /Q="True"
    /QS="False"
    /ROLE="AllFeatures_WithDefaults"
    /ENU="True"
    /ERRORREPORTING="False"
    /SQMREPORTING=0
    /INSTANCENAME="SQLEXPRESS"
    /AGTSVCACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE"
    /AGTSVCSTARTUPTYPE="Disabled"
    /ISSVCSTARTUPTYPE="Automatic"
    /ISSVCACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService"
    /ASSVCSTARTUPTYPE="Automatic"
    /ASCOLLATION="Latin1_General_CI_AS"
    /ASDATADIR="Data"
    /ASBACKUPDIR="Backup"
    /ASTEMPDIR="Temp"
    /ASCONFIGDIR="Config"
    /ASPROVIDERMSOLAP="1"
    /SQLSVCSTARTUPTYPE="Automatic"
    /FILESTREAMLEVEL="0"
    /ENABLERANU="True"
    /SQLCOLLATION="SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS"
    /SQLSVCACCOUNT="NT Authority\Network Service"
    /SECURITYMODE="SQL"
    /ADDCURRENTUSERASSQLADMIN="True"
    /RSSVCACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE"
    /RSSVCSTARTUPTYPE="Automatic"
    /RSINSTALLMODE="FilesOnlyMode"
    /HIDECONSOLE
    /IACCEPTSQLSERVERLICENSETERMS
    /SAPWD="***************"
    The MSI then executes an Installer class DLL written in C# which restores a database to the SqlExpress instance.
    When the restore is completed, the Installer class then uses the Process class to launch CMD.exe and execute the SQL script using SQLCMD.
    Process vProcess = new Process();
    ProcessStartInfo vStartInfo = new ProcessStartInfo("cmd.exe");
    vStartInfo.Arguments = "/c set path=%path%;" + Context.Parameters["TargetDir"] + "\\; && sqlcmd -S LocalHost\\myinstance -i myscript.sql";
    vProcess.StartInfo = vStartInfo;
    vProcess.Start();
    vProcess.WaitForExit(30000);
    This is where I get the error mentioned above.
    However if I execute the same command manually by opening CMD.exe from the RUN command, it executes perfectly.
    I can not use -U or -P to supply a user / password, I MUST use integrated security.
    Additional info:
    Previously SQL Server 2008 Express has been in use for the bootstrapper, and this issue did not occur.
    The database the MSI restores is also built from SQL Server 2008. (Will be built from 2012 in the future.)
    Installation is performed on an account with administrative rights.
    Running the installer AS Administrator does not fix the issue.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated, as well please let me know if additional info is required.
    Thank you

    I'm having a similar issue where I'm using a batch file to execute commands to a group of servers. I can use the batch commands when updating MyDatabase but get the security context error when I try to update MyDatabase with a join to TheirDatabase except
    on servers where I am sysadmin.   Like I said, I can update MyDatabase as long as I don't join to TheirDatabase.

  • Validation errors when execute create method

    i have two pages, list.jsff and edit.jsff there is a create button in list.jsff, when click the button ,execute a taskflow ,go through a create method to edit.jsff,
    in tp3 ,it goes ok,but in tp4, it prompt many validate errors.how can i block the validate when i execute create method?

    I have resolved the issue. It had to do with the autocommit settings for the database connections. By default autocommit is true when we create the database connection. The autocommit can be turned off by appending relaxAutoCommit=true in the url for the connection.

    We are trying to implement a process so that any document that needs to be printed through our Java application will be printed as PDF using Adobe Reader. For which, We created and execute the below command line to call Adobe Reader and print the PDF on a printer."C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /T "\\<Application Server>\Report\<TEST.PDF>" "<Printer Name>". Current Situation: The above command line parameter when executed is working as expected in a User's Workspace. When executed in a command line on the Application Server is working as expected. But, the same is not working while executing it from Deployed environment.Software being used: 1. Adobe 11.0 enterprise version. 2. Webshpere Application Server 8.5.5.2. Please let us know if there is a way to enable trace logs in Adobe Reader to further diagnose this issue.

  • Error with Project Parameters when executing the package with dtexec command

    Hi,
    We have started migrating our SSIS package from 2005 version to SSIS 2012. In SSIS 2005 we were using XML configuration files and executing the packages with dtexec command from the packages folder (without deploying packages to filesystem).
    Now in SSIS 2012, we have seen Project Parameters and created couple of package parameters and used those parameters in the package. when executing this package from solution explorer it was working fine but when i try to execute the same package from command
    line with Dtexec command, it was showing an error message of 'Not able to map Project Prameters to configurations'.
    Could you please give me an idea of how to execute the packages from command line by using dtexex command. basically i would like use project parameters in 2012 similar to configurations?
    Thanks,
    Venu.

    Refer
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-IN/library/hh231187.aspx
    you can pass parameter like this
    /SET \Package.Variables[$Package::ParameterName];<value> /SET \Package.Variables[$Project::ParameterName];<value>

  • Fatal error when trying to execute a dml-command with OLAP API

    Hi,
    when I created an OracleConnection using the jdbc thin driver. The connection works fine.
    But when I try to execute any dml-command with an SPLExecutor the following fatal error occurs:
    oracle.express.idl.util.OlapiException: ORA-37118: Message 37118 not found; product=RDBMS; facility=ORA
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.GENCONNECTIONINTERFACE", line 66
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    Any Suggestions ?

    Hi Priya,
    1.The entries for the initialization in the BW system are contained in the RSSDLINIT table for the DataSource/source system combination. Compare these with the entries in the ROOSPRMSC table in the OLTP system.
    2. If there are NO entries in the RSSDLINIT table in BW, use transaction RSA7 to delete the delta queue for this DataSource/BW application combination in the source system (OLTP).
    3.Once you deleted all the entries,In Infopackage scheduler option,delete all the init selections to proceed further.
    In which system u r going to do this.....Quality or production.(Better,you check with basis to delete the entries.)
    Regards
    Kumar

  • Permission denied when I execute a unix command from within my java applet.

    Hi Gang,
    Forgive me if this is not the appropriate forum for this problem. I'm posting this problem on this forum since I got no answers on the other forum I posted on.
    I've written a simple java applet that runs a unix command and then displays some information. The applet compiles fine, and runs perfectly from the command line on my unix system.
    However, when I point a browser at the applet from my desktop PC I get the following error as taken from the java console:
    Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-2" java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.io.FilePermission <<ALL FILES>> execute)
    This is of course the first line in a long line of error messages. It appears that I am not able to execute a command on the unix system through my applet. I know the problem is with trying to execute a unix command since commenting it causes no error in the web browser. This is the command I'm using in java to execute the unix command:
    p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("ps");
    Here's the html file on the unix system:
    <html>
    <head></head>
    <body>
    <appletcode=G.class height="250" width="400">
    Your browser does not support the applet tag.
    </applet>
    </body>
    </html>
    I won't list the java code since it is compiling and working on the command line. But, if you want to see it I'll provide it.
    I've done quite a bit of research on this and it seems that a great number of people have similar problems reading or executing files through java. I have yet to find a solution to this problem.
    Here are some details about my setup:
    Server:
    HP9000 running HP/UX 11.23
    Apache Web Server 2.0.35
    Java 1.5
    Desktop PC:
    Win2K Pro
    Internet Explorer 6
    Java 1.6
    If you have a solution I would be very grateful! This problem is keeping me from writing my application!
    thanks!

  • SQL2005 cluster error MDB-05053  Errors when executing sql command: p nr="

    Hi all,
    We are migrating from 32 bit to x64 bit machines. SQL 2005 database on windows 2003.
    I am trying to install E 4.7-200 SR1 on the clustered nodes. The installation manuals for 4.7 are very old and there is nothing for SQL2005 installation.
    Now that some how we were able to have SQL up and running in clustered environment (It only took 10 days), After installing CI, I am not able to deploy the database and database creation phase is failing with the following error:
    MDB-05053  Errors when executing sql command: <p nr="0"/>.
    I am heavily relying on our server managment team on clustering and hoping they have done a good job, However I need some guidelines which can help me in verifying what they have done is correct and meets SAP and SQL requirments and issues we are facing is actually install problems not cluster.
    SAP install manuals are not detailed in this regards. Also manuals are out dataed and they only show the sql 2000 clustering pre-requisit for 4.7 installls.
    Can any one with clustering experience please help.
    Calling out NPC, As his sql installation and upgrade manual has helped me with stand alone installs, Hoping he has some thing for clustering as well.

    Hi,
    What installation CD/DVD are you using?
    Try look at SAP note [924288|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/924288],
    and note [969699|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/969699],
    and note [967124|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/967124],
    and note [106275|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/106275].
    In special the last note say at the end:
    "3. You must use the 51031444 CD to install Enterprise 4.7 on an x64 platform with SQL Server 2005. This CD installs the central instances and database instances. To convert the A and B nodes in MSCS, use the SAP NetWeaver 04 SR1 installation master CD or DVD."
    Hope this helps
