SQLLOADER : How to use to Id from another table

Hi ,
We want to use sqlloader to load data from input file into
multiple temporary tables, which will be called by us as 'Load
Tables'.We will have three directories 'Input' , 'Working' and 'Acrhive'
. All input files before processing will be in 'input' directory, during
the time of processing file is moved from 'input' directory to 'Working'
directory. After processing file is moved from 'Working ' directory to
'Archive' directory. Here is our requirement in detail.
Step 1 : Read the file from input directory.
Step 2: Insert a record into control table, which will have
information like input file name and system generated unique control id.
Step 3: Move the file to working directory.
Step 4: Call Sql Loader executable command and load the input file into
multiple 'Load tables'. For each of the record that is loaded into 'Load
Table' we also want to capture 'Control Id' to make sure the source of
the record.
Our question is, how do we make it happen in sql loader. It will be
highly appreciated if any one has any information on it .

1) Why not name your ID as the ROWNUM, so text line 1 becomes ID=1, etc.
2) Another way to do this is to place the ID into your text files.
Even if you could read the ID from a database table, which you can - one way I can think of is functions, you still need a key value from which you would find the specific ID on which you are working.
And if you had that key value - why not just use that as the Id.
Or maybe, I misunderstood the question.

    1.weekend
    2.S1(measure)
    3.S2(measure)
    4.S3(measure)
    5.S4(measure)
    And In B table i have followning columns
    1.week end
    2.p1(measure)
    3.p2(measure)
    4.p3(measure)
    5.p4(measure)
    Now in universe i created all the measure objects i.e.s1,s2,s3,s4,p1,p2,p3,p4 A.weekend,B.weekend.
    instead of using week end two times i wnt to use only once because this is common in both table.
    if i use join between these tables i am getting values fine
    But With out join is there any thing to do in universe level to create common objects to use from both the tables..I tried using aggregate awareness but while reporting it is taking as two SQL.which is not synchronized.
    Please help me on this ...

    Although  Weekend column is present in both tables, by creating a single Object in Universe, Universe can identify relationship with only table referenced in Object Creation.
    So, there will be no identification of relationship with other table measures.
    Obviously, you need to create 2 Weekend objects in Universe (in two classes).
    Case 1: You need not join these two tables in Universe. When you create 2 Queries in WEBI, automatcially Weekend objects are synchronized (if both are of same datatype)
    Case 2: If you join these two tables in Universe, Obviously,
    your SQL may contain Weekend from Table1, measures from Table 2
    or
    your SQL may contain Weekend from Table2, measures from Table 1
    Finally, You need to create 2 objects in Universe. But your query may contain a single Object based on Case 2.

    oracle gives a ora _917 fault about a missing comma , but I can not se what is wrong.
    I will be glad, if you can give me an example with a right syntax where a subtype is selected from other/s tables an inserted in table of its supertype.

    I see two problems with your statement:
    1) The utilization of the values clause is not permitted along with a subquery.
    2) The AS are not allowed.
    So, something like that should work:

    Hi, i just started to use ADF BC and Faces. Could some one help me or point me a solution on the following scenario .
    By using a search component , a table is being displayed as a search result. If i select any row in the resulted table , i need to populate an another table at the bottom of the same page from another view. These two tables are related by primary key . May i know how to populate a table based on a row selection from another table. Thanks

    I understand your requirement and the tutorial doesn't talk about Association between the views so that you can create a Master-Detail or in DB parlance, a Parent-Child relationship.
    I will assume that we are dealing with two entities here: Department and Employees where a particular Department has many Employees and hence a Parent-Child relationship.
    Firstly, you need to create an Association between the two Entities - Department and Employees. You can do that by right clicking on the model's entity and then associating the two entities with the appropriate key say, DepartmentId.
    Once you have done that, you need to link the two entities in the View section with this Association that you created. Then go to AppModule and make sure that in the Available View Objects: 'EmployeesView' appears under 'DepartmentView' as "EmployeesView via <link you created>". Shuttle the 'DepartmentView' to the right, Data Model and then shuttle
    "EmployeesView via <link you created>" to the right, Data Model under 'DepartmentView'.
    This will then be reflected in your Data Controls. After that, you simply would have to drag this View into your page as a Master-Detail form...and then when you run this page, any row selected in the Master table, would display the data in the Detail table.

    How can i copy songs from another library to my itunes library with homesharing?  I see the other libraries, but cannot drag the songs into my library.  The help window says to use the "show menu" at the bottom, but I don't have that menu with itunes 11.

    You can do this in 2 ways.
    1) You can enable the sidebar and you can drag and drop like you used to be able to.  To turn on Sidebar in iTunes 11, go to View > Show Sidebar
    2) Another way is to connect to your Home Share from the drop-down menu from the left (where it says Music) and select your Home Share.  Once you are connected to your Home Share, select Music and you should see a button that says "All Items" and on the right, you should see the Import button.  To copy, select the songs you want to import and then click on Import.

    You might want to write this code in a validator on the entity object if it should apply from every screen.

    You can (using database links), but this will generally result in even poorer performance (unless by "another Oracle database" you mean using RAC?)
    It sounds more like you either need to upgrade your systems, or refactor your applications to have a smaller performance footprint.

    I have wsdl of the process i need to call. Also wsdl address on the server. But CALL activity can't use to service call. CALL activity can use only to reusable process call.
    I think, this operation must make on composite.xml. But I have a same problem with this method and it don't work.
    I create a base process that looking at below. It's include a direct binding. Is it include a direct binding?

    I think, i create the this direct binding correctly, i call to base process into my caller process via service activities.
