Sr830 connected with rs232, reading freq and voltage doesnot happen simultaneously

Hi,
I am having a problem, trying to set the frequency and voltage in the auxiliary output simultaneously. I wrote two codes, one to set frequency and another to set voltage in the auxiliary output and used them as sub VIs to my main program which at this moment contains only these two elements. When I run the program the first time, both the frequency and voltages are set, but on subsequent runs only one item is set whilw the other retains the older value and I have to run the program again to set this parameter. What is the problem? can u please help me out. I am just one week into labview programming but I have to set up C-V hysterysis in very shor time, of which these controls are a part. Please find the programs attached.

Thank you guyz for your respective suggestions, I have replaced the two serial port initialization into one and I have placed the write functions sequentially, with a VISA close and simple error handler at the end. I have aso terminated all the voltage, freq., and amplitude commands with EOL (\r\n) Now, when I run this program, in the first run nothing happens, the values for voltage, frequency and amplitude remains the same. On the second run only the first component, i.e., the voltage is set to the defined value the freq and amplitude remains unchanged and on subsequent runs, nothing happens at all. o, I can only set the voltage, but not the next two components. I am sorry, but I don´t if I am making some silly mistake, but why doesnot the write functions work sequentially now? and BTW i have only one serial port connected to the Stanford research SR830 lock-in amplifier.

Sorry, I updated another thread I was a part of but didn't update my own thread.....ughhh!
I updated all of my ATV 2's and 3's to the latest firmware when it was released and have been problem free since. I do believe the major issue of not being able to connect after a period of inactivity has been corrected with the latest ATV firmware.
I can look at my network connection table using "netstat -an" in a CMD window and I do not see the massive number of connections I saw before the update.

Dot matrix printer will not print well with acrobat reader 8 and 9.

I have the dot matrix printer IBM Proprinter XLIII, with Acrobat Reader 7 pdf prints correctly, but with Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 and 9 print badly.

I updated the drivers with a new version, but continues to print badly with acrobat reader 8 and 9 (the text is not readable)
If printed with Acrobat Reader 7 print is ok.

Go to supportprofile.apple.com and remove your device. Alternatively you can call in to apple and have Apple look up your phone number. They may be able to remove it from their end.
If it does not show up in either of these places, have the people whe own the other iPhone send you a message> this message will be blue for an iMessage> have them push an hold on that message and select the option "send as text"> this should send the message as green> do this two - four time till it starts sending as green on its own.> this should fix it.

You cannot link to another smartphone via Bluetooth from your iPad except perhaps to use the Xperia's personal hotspot (WiFi is supported, but I'm not sure about Bluetooth). If you wish to transfer files or data, that's not possible.

Hi, I am trying to connect my microcontroller kit which will measure the current and voltage. I was provided with rs232 port to connect with labview to read the voltage and current data that is measured by my controller. How to make it display both current and voltage value by acquirng the data from rs232. I tried some programming but it doesn't work or it was wrong. How to make it work ?

As we said in the other thread, you need to talk to whoever is designing the microcontroller and decide on a specific format for it send you the data. Once we have that, then we can start talking about how to program this up.

Unable to connect with Kuler Air app and Extension

Hi,
I am unable to connect Adobe Kuler Desktop(Air app). I can't login through the app. Only thing I can see when I launch the app is the RGB rotating, even after an hour.
I tried reinstalling the app two three time. No way. same issue persits.
I tried to connect through a proxy server enable and through a direct connection. same issue.
Not only the Kuler Desktop, but the plugin also has the same problem.

Hello, I was getting the same RGB loading... issue, however I was able to Sign In at the bottom with my Adobe ID, and then themes started loading when I selected from the dropdown (e.g., Most Popular). It's a little slow, but seems to be working.

Why am I getting an error "Unable to establish a secure connection with (mail server)"? And what can I do?

I'm trying to set up email on my Firefox OS Flame (OS is Boot2Gecko 2.0.0.0-prerelease) and getting an error:

I'm on Dreamhost, the certificate belongs to `*.dreamhost.com` but I'm not even sure this is a certificate error, and if it is, how I'd go about fixing it. I found the Certificate Manger, but I don't know how to download the certificate and add it, and I don't know if this is even the problem.

If this is a self-signed certificate or one where the CA is not trusted on FFOS, you will get this error.
There is currently no proper user interface for adding certificates. You could have a look at the method described at this page: http://www.pending.io/add-cacert-root-certificate-to-firefox-os/
There are also several bugs open regarding this problem, e.g. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=874346. They have additional information that could help you to find out, if this is the problem you are seeing.

Thanks for your reply .... I took the cable to the mac shop and they connected to an imac and a HDTV and all worked perfect... I have read on line that some people are having problems with the imac samsung connection ..
I contacted Samsung and they said it should work .. I am going to take my imac to the mac shop to check on video output .... I am running a 27 1mac OS10 10.67 3 years old ....

Conflict with Adobe Reader 9 and Acrobat 6

I'm having an issue with a conflict between Reader 9 and Acrobat 6. PDF files open properly in Reader 9, but when I open URL's with PDF links it defaults to Acrobat 6. Reader 9 is the default program on my machine to open PDF's and I have tried to edit preferences, but it still does not work.
I have uninstalled Acrobat 6, but I really like the idea of "printing" to a PDF. If I decide to reinstall Acrobat 6 should I uninstall Reader 9 first and then reinstall it again later?

You can do what you have stated as well i.e. Uninstall Reader 9 and reinstall Acrobat 6 and then Reader 9. But do make sure that while installing Reader 9, select Reader 9 as the default PDF viewing application when you are prompted.
Or, once you have installed BOTH Acrobat 6 and Reader 9 on your system, please change the following registry key to point to AcroRd32.exe (usually present at: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe").

You might be seeing a Micro USB cable (Not HDMI) that is because your Apple Tv is in Recovery Mode due to some reason and it needs to be Restored by connecting it to iTunes on your Computer. So if you have a Micro USB cable ( which comes with Android Smart Phones ) then try to connect your Apple Tv to your computer using the same and with the help of iTunes Restore your Apple Tv to Factory Settings. Go through the below Apple Support kb which says " If your Apple TV still does not respond or if you were unable to follow the above steps "

We are implementing a connection with AS/400 IBM platform with DB2 400 (DB4) and OS400 like operating system. We are using DB-Connect to
extract data from a DB2 Database to BW (operating system AIX and DB2 UD6 - Sap Netweaver 2004).
We follow all the steps provided in SAP help to
configured the Connections. We created the source system for DB-Connect. In BW when we try to select tables and views with right button option the system gets this error " The current ABAP program "RSDL_META_UPLOAD" had to be terminated because one of the statements could not be executed".
The connection fails, and can't establish it.
Someone knows about this topic?
There are other options?
I would appreciate your help.

For extract data with DB connect in BW from AS/400-DB2(DB4) to aix-db2, BW write a wrong abap code.
For this reason the solutions are:
Write a funtion module with abap and native SQL for db2 (EXEC SQL) or Change the application server to windows.
