SRM 7 - Multiple POs from 1 Shopping Cart

Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to create multiple POs from 1 shopping cart?  1st PO will have partial order qty and the second PO will have the remaining order quantity.
Thanks.

Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to create multiple POs from 1 shopping cart? 1st PO will have partial order qty and the second PO will have the remaining order quantity.
In SRM7, it is not possible to create multiple POs from one SC. In sourcing you can combine multiple SC's (using BAdI BBP_SRC_DETERMINE) and process to create a single PO.
Also the BAdI BBP_GROUP_LOC_PO is used for :
If the shopping cart items do not have a source of supply, the standard system creates a purchase order with one purchase order item for each shopping cart item. This is necessary because once a source of supply is assigned to purchase order, the items can no longer be divided up between different purchase orders.
You use this Business Add-In if you want to create a single purchase order for particular shopping cart items that do not have  a source of supply assigned to them.
So if your SC has 2 or more line items, then it can be processed in sourcing for multiple PO based on above logic.
But if your SC has one line item, then splitting of qty for multiple PO is not possible.
Hope this clarifies your query.

Ram

  • Creating Multiple POs from the shopping cart

    Hi
I have a requirement to create multiple POs from shopping cart. we are in SRM 7.0 I have implemented the BADI BBP_SC_TRANSFER_BE GROUP_PO method. modified group_1 field with 1 and Doc_type with custom document type
and udpate the change parameter CT_PROC_ITEM with the above changed data for each line item.
But purchase order always taking original document type and its number range only.
Please help me in this regard,
    Regards,
    Rama.

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I have implemented the BADI BBP_BS_GROUP_BE method GROUP_PO_BACKEND. I modified BE_DOC_TYPE with the custom document type and REFNUMBER as the group number .
But  it is generating number range for the original document type only.  when i debug the code i found that it is taking original document type (which is hardcoded contant value mentioned in the code when number range is initial).
Please suggest me  after grouping the line items with document types and REFNUMBER how to assign number ranges for each group of line items.
    Regards,
    Rama.

  • SRM 7 - defaulting values for multiple line items on shopping cart

    Hi,
We are using SRM 7 - Employee self service - Punch out catalogues and describe requirements.
    Our scenario is this:
    - User is responsible for creating shopping carts for numerous cost centres/other users
    - Shopping cart will have multiple line items (but the cost centre/other user will be same for all line items)
    - Is it possible to define in a shopping cart that all line items will have a specific value?  E.g. all line items will be assigned to a specific cost centre?
I know about assigning dedault values in PPOMA_BBP - but our situation is where user does not want to use this default value this time, but another value
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Thanks Alex for quick reply
To confirm, did you use the BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI (in conjunction with the BBP_ITEM_CHECK_BADI) to look at different cost centres on the multiple lines on the shopping cart?
Also - did you use the same BADI to give user opportunity to enter a default cost centre that is then automatically applied to all line items on the cart?
    Thanks

  • Unable to create a PO from a shopping cart in classic scenerio

    Hi Experts,
I tried creating a PO from the Shopping cart, but i am getting an error Number range 70 doesnt exist. Whereas
when i tried creating a PO from Rfx, PO is getting created. Can somebody suggest what would have went wrong.
    Regards,
    Santhosh

    Hi Santosh,
It could be possible that the number ranges are not defined or altered. Please check the path in SPRO(in SRM) for the number range of backend follow-on-documents.
IMG : Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM server-> Cross Application Basic Settings->Number Ranges-> SRM server number ranges->Define Number ranges for shopping carts and follow on documents.
Please check if number ranges are maintained properly for PO. After maintaining the details, try to push the shopping cart again. Check in RZ20 for the error details further(if it occurs again).
    Hope it helps.

Any pointers in this regard would be highly appreciated.

    Hi Murali,
I think your suggestion should solve Gurpreets problem.
    I have a query here.
In the copy controls VLTA, defines between sales doc to dlivery doc.
Here we want to maintain copy control between purchasing doc to delivery doc.
    How do we achive this?
Also in my view we should write a new combination requirement.
Please check if combination requirement 51 can be used?

  • Can't purchase album or delete it from my Shopping Cart

I added The Kooks' "Inside In / Inside Out" to my cart, and iTunes wont let me buy it. Every time I click the "Buy Now" button it says "Your Shopping Cart's contents have changed" and offers to refresh it. The refresh does nothing. If I try to delete the album from my cart it gives me an error:
"Could not remove an item from your cart (1011). There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later."
Oddly enough, the price of the album is listed as $0.00, and I think the problem has something to do with the fact that album is being confused with the free "single of the week", which I already downloaded. I have tried quitting iTunes and rebooting.

Same problem here, but with an iPod game that I tried to purchase...
Here's a copy of the problem, as I described it in my email to Apple. Hopefully I'll get this sorted.
I recently added the new iPod Game "The Sims: Pool" to my Shopping Cart.
I then went to my Shopping Cart to buy and download the game I had just added.
When I looked at the item listed in my Cart, instead of the usual "BUY" button I would normally see next to the item, I can only see a "VIEW" button.
Clicking on the "VIEW" button gives me a message which says:
Your request could not be completed.
The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store.
This makes no sense as I was in the UK Store when I viewed the game and when I added it to my Shopping Cart. I was also logged into my iTunes Store Account, which I could only do if I was in the UK Store.
Further problems appear when I try and remove the game from my Shopping Cart, by clicking on the remove "X" button next to the listing.
Clicking on this gives me an error message which states:
Could not remove an item from your cart. An unknown error occurred (1011).
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.
I thought maybe this was just some "teething trouble", seeing as though "The Sims: Pool" has only just been released today, but I tried adding "The Sims: Bowling" to my Shopping Cart a short while afterwards and I am having exactly the same problems.
As a test, I even tried adding a couple of the very early iPod games, "Cubis" and "Zuma", but even those are, again, giving me the exact same problems. It seems I cannot purchase ANY game from the iTunes Store.
I have purchased several other games in the past however (8 to be exact), with no troubles.
Could you please assist me in this matter.
    Thank-you.

  • POs upon saving shopping cart (sourced) v from SOCO in classic

    Hi,
Is there any way I can differentiate POs created directy upons saving shopping cart(sourced SC) & PO created in back end from SOCO in classic scenario.
Is there any table where I can look for this?

CREATED BY REQUESTER name - if FIXED source of supply
CREATED BY BUYER name - if come from cockpit.
SAP Note 1436207 - Change Document: Backend PO with
    incorrect creator
    Symptom
A follow-on document is created from a requirement in the 'Sourcing
Cockpit'. When you display the change document of this requirement, the
system will display the last changer of this document as a creator of the
    follow-on document.
The above are clues and you can look up tables and validatons

  • Item level link in PO for items added from individual Shopping carts

    Hi all,
IF i create a PO in Sourcing using multiple shopping carts, then for each of the item in the PO ,is there any link which has details about the Line item of the SC from which the PO was created?I am looking for some link in the PO(created from multiple carts) at the item level with the Items in the shopping cart.
    E.g. I create PO 100 from cart 10 and Cart 20.
    CArt 10:
    Line item A
    cart 20:
    Line item B
    PO 100:
    Line Item A(1st item)
    Line item B(2nd item)
For the above example,is there any link in PO 100 for item A in SC 10 and for item B in SC 20?
    Thanks in advance.

What are you trying to achieve? What other link do you need if you get the item GUID (this is not the shopping cart number!)? The item GUID is a unique number in the SRM system that is only used for that particular item. So there is no need to identify it any further or in any other way?
So 4 ways to get it:
    1. use the correct tables (CRMD_ORDERAMD_I & BBP_PDIGP using GUID and SRC_GUID from the top of my head).
    2. Use the BBP_PD_PO_ITEMGETDETAIL Function Module (do a search for BBP_PD_PO* in transaction SE37 to find the correct name).
    3. use transaction BBP_PD (only reference)
    4. use the PO transaction in internet explorer and check the preceding shopping carts

  • How to use Multiple Product Hierarchies in Shopping Cart creation

    Dear SRM Experts,
We have an issue in using multiple Product Hierarchies while creating a shopping cart. Need your help to resolve this.
Our SRM system is integrated with 2 ERP back-end systems. In material replication we have created 2 hierarchies for different ERPs and their product categories are stored in respective hierachies.
    Example:
    EBPMATCLAS is for ERP1
    EBPSERVCAT is for ERP2
Now when I create shopping cart, it allows only those products which are part of EBPMATCLAS because of below configuration..
We cant configure multiple hierarchies for purchasing so we are not able to use both Hierarchies simultaneously.
Request you to help with the possible solution to use multiple hierarchies.
    Thanks
    Rajan

    Hi Rajan,
You not need to create 2 hierarchy ID. Inside the R3MATCLASS you can see the reference with both banckends.

    R3MATCLASSECCCLNT002

  • Create a Purchase Order from a Shop Cart where Stock is held

A customer requires a shop cart user (Requestor) to decide that they would like to go to straight to Purchase Order for a Stocked Item rather than a reservation being created and stock being transferred from a remote storage location. The customer would like the Requstor to still have the Shop Cart availability subscreen in order to check stock but also be able to enter account (cost) assignment details within the shop cart.
    Customer is on SRM_SERVER 550 SP14 with ERP ECC6 SP18.
I would appreciate if somebody could share their thoughts and ideas.
    Regards, Kyle.
Edited by: Kyle Freeman on Jan 28, 2010 4:50 PM

    Kyle,
We are on SRM 550 as well and although we haven't implemented any stores business process in SRM we did look into it in some detail.
If your store uses R/3 or ERP MRP processes then there is not a lot of advantage in transferring the stock replenishment to SRM, you just introduce more steps into what is already a fairly intensive process.  If you do not use MRP then transferring stock replenishment to SRM may be the way to go depending on your line of business.
Basic process for using SRM with stores materials would be as follows.
    1. Transfer Material codes from the back end system to SRM - needs to be done regularly especially if you are creating new materials all the time.
    2. Make the store a business partner so that stock reservations process can be completed.
    3. Put materials in an internal catalog and make the catalog only available to users who require goods from the store via the stock reservations process.
    4. Also put the materials in another catalog where the source of supply is the external vendor who will deliver the goods to the stores for stock replenishment.
    5. Only make this stock replenishment catalog available to users who are responsible for re-stocking the store.
You may already know that stores stock is normally held against a balance sheet account and not a cost center account so stores stock does not require a cost assignment unless you are generating a stock reservation for consumption against a cost center/order.
If you wanted to make both sources available to user i.e. store and external you would only have to make both catalogs available to them.
    Hope these thoughts help

  • SRM 7.0 Custom Fields for Shopping Cart Item

    Hi
We are upgrading from SRM 4.0 to 7.0. Can you please help how to migrate the custom fields logic. We created fields in following shopping cart structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST_SC and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST during upgrade. IncludesINCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF already have fields from SRM 4.0 Implementation. In SRM 4.0 BADI BBP_CUF_BADI_2 was used to populate values. In SRM 7.0 we tried to use Enhancement Spot /SAPSRM/BD_PDO_FIELD_EXTENSN that has BADI's /SAPSRM/BD_PDO_FE_FILL_HEADER and /SAPSRM/BD_PDO_FE_FILL_ITEM in it. During shop transaction these BADI's are not getting triggered. Is this the right way of populating data or do we need to use Webdynpro Enhancement concepts of custom views to populate custom fields .
    Thanks in Advance.

I have the same problem that Dhivya Baskaran
    The window is:
    dynpro: / SAPSRM/WDCC_FPM_DO_SOCO_GAF_3
    Window: IV_L_FPC_GAF_CA
    View: V_AO_SOCO_GAF_3
I need to add a customer field in the header and I know the parameterization it is for this screen
    anyone can help me?

  • SRM Portal Drop Down History on Shopping Cart

    Hello All,
I have the following scenario during the creation of shopping carts in SRM.
User A shops on behalf of User B and he drops down the product category or Unit of Measure and selects a new product category or Unit of Measure other than the default values in the drop down through the search help. He creates the shopping Cart.
User A again tries to create a new shopping cart on behalf of User B and he drops down the product category or Unit of Measure but he does not see the latest product category or Unit of Measure that he had selected earlier in the drop down history list.
Now User B creates a shopping cart on his own behalf and selects the product category or Unit of Measure that User A had used in his first shopping cart and creates the shopping cart.
Now if User A tries to shop on behalf of User B and he drops down the product category or Unit of Measure he is able to see  the product category or Unit of Measure used in the drop down history.
I would like to know is there some kinda setting in SAP SRM or the portal that controls this.
The requriement for us is that even when User A shops on behalf of User B and uses a new product category or Unit of Measure other than that is in the drop down history, this history has to be in the drop down list the next time User A tries to shop on behalf of User B.

From what I know, that history is based on the logged on user id.  I have not been able to find where that is stored to review key information.  I know this does not help, but I think you are looking at some customization.
    Regards, Dean.

  • SRM 7.0 Process Controlled Workflow - Shopping Cart customising

    Hi
I am trying to use my own task (copied from TS 40007953) in the shopping cart approval workflow. I have made my task a general task and I have added it to task grouo TG 40000003.
I also put my task number in the task id column in the process level customising.
When the shopping cart is ordered, the workflow is started correctly AND my task is used in the workflow log.
The workitem goes to the correct approver (portal UWL) but the task does not behave correctly. The approve/reject buttons are missing and it does not open.
Is there something I have missed?
    Appreciate any ideas:)

    Hi..
Any reason that you have customized task use to approve / reject the SC?..
