SRM - Requisitioner User ID

Hi,
Process: Shopping Carts are created by the requisitioners. A set of users (Procurement Team) are responsible for converting the shopping carts into Purchase Orders through sourcing cockpit.
Requirement: Purchase orders are sent to the vendors in the form of Printouts and a section in the PO should display the contact details of the requisitioner maintained in the user master.
Issue: Is there any way to pick up the user ID of the requisitioner from the PO in order to fetch the contact details of the requisitioner from the user master and display in the PO output.
Please guide.
With regards
Krishna

Hi Krisha,
The user details such as email address and Phone number from Buisness Partner can be fetched on to the PO.  It depends on the PO smartform you are using in SRM.
You can see the BP number for the requester in PPOSA_BBP and the BP data can be edited in transaction BP.
I hope it helps.
Regards,
Ganesh

    Thanks Peter .
it is happening only in SRM right.
Is any work around for this issue.
In future SRM any planing to take care of this.
in ECC i can delete the user whenever the user moves .
All SRM customers will be very happy if SRM gives some workaround for this issue.
Every customer wants to reduce cost .
How can I find what are the opening documents for this user in one shot ?
    thanks for answering this question.
I have seen our Eden Kelly report helps for shopping cart and other BO.
You are doing good job on our SRM  WIKI innovative topics and discussons. I appreciate.
why i am raising this concern is that one user left the organisation and again we want to edit the data whch entered by the left user . system will not allow us to do after deleting the user.
so we are approaching SAP for ths help.
It is very difficult to convice the customers on this issues.

  • SRM supplier user synchronization between SUS and productive client

Dear Sirs, in our SRM environement the contact persons (and relative system users) created by suppliers in the auto-registration procedure, should be synchronized between SUS and productive client.
(in our implementation client 150 and 330) .
This sync mechanism should be valid also for lock-unlock status of the user and reset of the password,
but in both cases it does not works (a locked user, manually unlocked from client 150 via SU01, is again locked in client 330, the same from 330 client).
Could you suggest a solution or some checkpoints ?
Could you provide some links for the configuration of this mechanism ? (we have seen only the SPRO node " Maintain Systems for Synchronization of User Data") ?
I am not shure if XI is implicated or not.
    Best regards,
    Riccardo Galli

    HI
Maintain Systems for Synchronization of User Data
In this IMG activity, you specify the RFC destinations to which user data from SUS User Management is replicated.
In the Logical System field, you should enter the backend destination with which the user data should be synchronized when they are entered in SUS. On the basis of this information, the system determines the relevant RFC destination automatically.
Specify the function modules for creating, changing, or deleting a user in the external system for each logical system:
Function Module for Creating User: Function module that is called to create a user in the external system
Function Module for Changing User: Function module that is called to change the user in the external system
Function Module for Deleting User: Function module that is called to delete the user in the external system
If this data exists, you can set the indicator Use Purchasing BP ID to use the business partner ID from the procurement system instead of the business partner ID from SUS.
What are the settings maintained here ?

    Hi ,
The user should have profile SAP_ALL assigned automatically when you run the CTC script.
    Else please assign manually.

  • Active Directory, single sign-on and  SRM Users

We are in the process of installing SRM 7.0. using the Classic Scenario. I am seeking clarification around the creation of users in that system given the following:
    - My Basis colleagues are in the process of implementing single sign-on using Active Directory for our SAP Portal, SAP Business Warehouse and SRM systems.
    - Single sign-on will not  at this point be used for our SAP ECC 6.0 system
    My questions are:
    1. If active directory is being used do we need to create actual users within the SRM system?
    2. If actual users in the SRM system are not required, does this have any impact on the creation of the Organizational structure in SRM from the SAP ECC HR hierarchy?
    Many Thanks

    Hi Claire,
The Single Sign On work only if user exist on every systemes.
    For example :
If you connect trough portal to access ECC and SRM, your user id must exist in ECC and SRM.
For Active Directory you can synchronize your user table to AD by using LDAP option.
The best way is to configure a CUA for ECC and SRM, use the UME of Portal on ECC and synchronize the CUA to Active Directory.
Finally use the SSO certificate between Portal ECC and SRM.

So now i want to access the company code "A " and company code " B " and their locations .
what I have done is I went into company "A" and went into my user id attributes tab and added the company code "b" in the user attribute tab and also all the locations in the extended attributes.
but still system is not allowing me to View the company codes and Locations .
I believe as they are of different logical systems.
Please suggest how to about this?
    Best regards,

    Hi
<u>Have you maintianed the Org plan in PPOMA_BBP transaction as per the business requirements ?</u>
As Yann told, either you can use the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI / BBP_ITEM_CHANGE_BADI to code your logic in this case.  Take help of ABAP person here.
<u>You need to read the current SRM shopping user's attributes, using BBP_READ_ATTRIBUTES / BBP_GET_USER_ATTRIBUTES function modules  inside BBP_SC_CHANGE method of the BADI - BBP_DOC_CHANGE and then you can overwrite the attributes as per your business requirments here.
The attribute for company code is 'BUK' and for location is 'WRK' / 'WGR'.</u>
    Hope this will help.
    Do let me know.

  • ROS issue in SRM 7.0 with SAP EP

    Hi Gurus,
I am on SRM 7.0 and have referred to several posts in this forum, in particular, these -
Re: Not able to transfer suppliers from ROS to EBP
Re: External Web Service setting for Supplier Registration ROS to EBP
I have been able to bring the potential supplier to ACCEPTED status, thereafter, I am trying to make the potential supplier available in the SRM system as a Bidder/ Vendor. I know this needs to be done from the "Business Partner from List" - however, I am not able to see "Business Partner from List" in SAP EP Strategic Purchaser or SRM Administrator tabs.
Here is all of what I have done in SRM Configuration - I dont have a separate ROS Client, which means, the SRM and ROS Clients are both 100 in my case. There is no SUS either.
    - configured Sup. Reg. (select prod cat for regn, language, assign questionnaire to prod cat.)in SRM Client.
    - activated ROS services in SRM Client.
    - created a service user in SRM. This user has roles: SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEUSER & SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEVENDOR. This user is maintainted in SRM client BSP service ROS_SELF_REG in Log on Data with SRM client, user ID and password.
    - created an external web service 'ROS' in SRM with type "Supplier Diretory" and defined standard call structure as follows:
          10   http://sapsrmabap.jiverry.com/sap/bc/bsp/sap/ros_prescreen/main.do   0 URL
          20   SAP-CLIENT   100    2 Fixed Value
30   LOCALE         ENGLISH       2 Fixed Value
40   User               SNR              2 Fixed Value
50   PASSWORD   password    2 Fixed Value
          60   HOOK_URL    <BLANK>     4 Return URL
          70   ~OKCode        ADDI            2 Fixed Value
          80   ~target            _top             2 Fixed Value
          90   ~caller             CTLG           2 Fixed Value
    - maintained the table BBP_MARKETP_INFO with Vendor root, Std. Purchasing Org and Currency
Please let me know what I am missing in the configuration or what I have incorrectly done thus far.

    SNR,
Are you implementing ROS without SUS in one client?
I did face similar problem and Summer recommended me to change the SRM system from LOCAL to EBP_SUS (table BBP_BACKEND_DEST). Currently I am unable to try this on my system. Can you please try and let me know whether it works or not?
Did you manage to successfully complete this scenario?
I know XI is mandatory to change the potential supplieru2019s business partner status in ROS when they are accepted and transferred to EBP. Any idea what settings are required to perform.

  • Setting the Goods Receipt indicator in SRM

    Hi,
I have been assigned to clear the goods receipt indicator for certain vendors during the purchase order creation process. I modified the BADI BBP_B46B_PO_OUTBOUND to clear the gr_indicator and it does that. On R/3 EKPO-WEPOS(gr_indicator)  is clear. The problem is When I display the purchase order in SRM by clicking Header Data\Follow on Documents\ the Confirm Performance of Service Goods Receipt
checkbox is still populated. I have been told that is because there is a SRM table where that gr_indicator is located but we can not determine which tables. I wanted to trace the transaction bbp_pd but we can not trace in our QA environment.
Does anyone know the SRM table that contains the Goods Receipts indicator?

  • Error message when calling a Business Connector RFC destination from SRM

    Hello all,
We are facing one problem with data Purchase Order transmission between SRM 5.0 (SRM_SERVER 5.5, extended classic scenario) and Business Connector 4.7.
We made needed customizing in order to have "XML / XI" output medium available in tab 'Company Data' in "Manage Business Partners" web transaction (by updating BBP_USE_AI table in SM30 transaction).
Then, we implemented BAdI definition BBP_EBPXML_OUT_BADI with method PURCHASEORDER in order to change XI system type to Business Connector.
In this way, PO transfer data between SRM and BC is done using BC Module Function BAPI_POEC_XML_SEND (TCP/IP RFC connection was defined for Purchase Order in BBPC_RFCDEST table).
Nevertheless, even if method BBP_PO_SEND_XML is correctly triggered when PO is created with a vendor with XML output medium, we have in the document output log ("Process Purchase Order" web transaction) an error message:
' Error (Unknown Partner and Message Type. Routing Rule created. Sender: SMR Receiver:) when calling RFC destination BC '
where SRM is the SRM log. sys. and BC the Business Connector log. sys.
Our EAI team is working on it, but if you have any idea, your are welcome !
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards.
    Laurent

    Hello Christian,
Thank you for your help. However, we abandoned this solution between SRM and Business Connector.
So, we followed instructions indicated in OSS note 883693 - "ECS: PO output determination in R/3".
Nevertheless, in order to restrict this behaviour for specific vendors and purchasing organizations, we added some filters.
    It is working fine.
However, when the PO is modified in SRM, then order again, PO is modified in R/3 (by the RFC user from SRM) more than once.
As a consequence, we have as much messages as modifications of the order in R/3 (due to multiple RFC access with the SRM RFC user).
Does anybody have an idea to have only one R/3 output message when the PO is modified in SRM ?
One solution could be to check in the NAST table if the time creation of the last output message is lower than, for example, one minute.
If it is the case, we do not allow R/3 ouput message.
    Any suggestions is welcome.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

  • Project WBS not visible in SRM

    Hi All,
We have created Shopping cart in SRM and user wants to do shopping with respect to the particular Project (WBS Element). except of that project all other projects are visible in SRM.
That Project is released and active in ECC System. My question is how to activate that Project in SRM so that USer can do shopping based on that Project?
    Regards,
    Lovkesh

    Hi
Please check these below configuration in EBP
SPRO-> ...--> Define account assignmnet category .Here you check whther you have activated foe WBS
and Define GL account for product category and a/c assignment category.
Moreover you can check whther you included in the attribute.

  • Unable to find Shopping Cart Preview Option in SRM Shopping cart Applicatio

    Hi Guys,
I am a testing some scenarios in SRM-MDM Catalog and SRM Shoppincart where i have to add some items from SRM-MDM Catalog to Shopping cart preview but i dont find any Shopping Cart preview option. Can any one make me clear how to know which SRM Portal User has privelege to see that Shopping Cart Preview option.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
Can any one make me clear how to know which SRM Portal User has privelege to see that Shopping Cart Preview option.
This totally depends on the settings made for that User in Configuration UI.
When you open your Configuration UI with User Master and password Blank (empty), you will get screen as shown in page 24/28 Configuration view. Here you will select User e.g. User1 not Default User to whom do you want to assign Shopping Cart Preview Option by clicking on radio button Cart Preview in shopping options under General tab. Then the same user you will define in External webservice.
Please refer Page 24/28 of this below article:

  • Different Purch Org & Purch Group is shown when PR is transferred to SRM

    Experts,
We are facing a strange problem,
A user is creating a PR in R3 under specific Purch org. We have configured to transfer the PR to SRM to carry out the sourcing activity. So that PR reaches in the sourcing cockpit but with different Purch org & Purch group. Even that user is not assiged under that purch group & purch org in SRM.
No BADI's is implemented.  The user Specific Purch org exist in the SRM and user is assigned to it at ppoma_bbp.
    Any solution for this.. Please
    Thanks

    Hello Anand,
I assume you are using SRM 70 or above here. PR transfer from ERP to SRM Sourcing Cockpit is handled by Badi in ERP ME_REQ_SOURCING_CUST , where based on the logic written for the purchasing pr will be transferred to SOCO else PR will be available in the CPPR application.
Also the transfer will happen by PI where a technical user called as Integration user will be used, which will also be assigned to the PPOMA in SRM under the purchasing unit.
With the successful PR transfer to SRM , a shopping cart will be created in the SRM system automatically with the Integration user and the same grp will be carried forward to the Draft RFx creation in SOCO. But the user will have the option to change the purchasing group based on his needs.
It will not be depend on the logged in user purchasing grp and org.
Hope this answer your query here.
    Best Regards,
    Rahul
