Stack dump while trying to view the JNDI Tree on a managed server.

Hi,
We are running WLI 9.2.3.
I have a problem when trying to view the managed servers JNDI Tree via the Admin console. The admin servers JNDI tree appears to be fine, but trying to view the 1st managed servers JNDI Tree via the admin console keeps producing a stack dump.
Does anyone know why this would be? Is it a security issue, judging by the classes below:

Hi,
if it works in Chrome then this Problem is related to IE.
Maybe the URL is to long? IE can "only" handle 2048 Characters.

  • Error while trying to view the details table from Show/Hide icon

What we are having is two tables, Outer and Inner, having Outer VO and Inner VO,outer VO is linked with inner VO. Now when I am trying to view the inner table
through Show/Hide icon to see the details of the table ,I am getting an error like ...
The record with primary key values {2280} could not be found in view object MisForecastHeadOfiiceAM.InnerTableVO_OuterInnerVL_InnerTableVO.
I want to know how this error can be resolved

    Hi Abdul,
We are not getting error while searching. As said earlier
While search for the first time > We could see proper results in out table and Even show/hide is working fine and display correct data in Inner table
When searching for the second time with different criteria > We could see proper results in outer table and on clicking show/hide (to view inner table data), we are getting error.
The record with primary key values {2280} could not be found in view object AM.ViewLinkVL_InnerTableVO
From the error message, we found that its trying to get the row (of inner table) pertaining to first search results and not for the outer table row in context to second search results.

    Hi,
I have created a crystal report using Crystal Reports 2013 and I trying to call this report from outside the server. While I called the report using RESTFul API I shown below error in my browser. Is there any license related issue or some thing else ?
    Can anybody help me please?
    Bhavin Panchal

    Hi Bhavin,
I don't think its a license issue.  What url syntax are you using when you get the error?
I'm guessing you are trying to do something with the report.  If so, the REST APIs will work with "Crystal Reports for Enterprise" reports, but you may run into limitations with the CR 2013 reports
try opening the report in the Java (CR for Enterprise) designer and save that to the cms, then try the same workflow with this report.
Enabling tracing on the WACS server should also provide a more detailed error message

What kind of model you used to import the web service? If you used adaptive
Webservice model then you require to configure the end point destination in Visual Admin.

  • Error while trying to register the SMP3.0 Application on Management Cockpit Using Logon Plugin

    Hi,
I am working on SMP 3.0 SP 02 ->cordova 3.3.1 - 0.3.1, i am able to ping the Odata endpoint in Management Cockpit successfully. I followed the steps which are present in the getting started with kapsel - 2 (use of logon plug in).  i am able to register to SMP 3.0  server by using register.html on the machine that SMP server is running but not from other machine using port 8083. Also if i try to use registration2.html which uses login plugin am getting the errors. Please help me out with this error
    {"errorCode":"80003","errorMessage":"Unable to reach Backend URL","errorDomain":"MAFLogonCoreErrorDomain"} at file:///android_asset/www/plugins/com.sap.mp.cordova.plugins.logon/www/common/modules/Utils.js:4

<<I am able to register to SMP 3.0  server by using register.html on the machine that SMP server is running but not from other machine using port 8083.
As mentioned above, by default port 8083 is used only by the management cockpit.  Try using the HTTP port which by default is 8080.
The ports are configured in this file.
    C:\SAP\MobilePlatform3\Server\config_master\org.eclipse.gemini.web.tomcat\default-server.xml
If the registration fails one quick test to verify basic connectivity to the SMP 3.0 server from the device or emulator is to open the following URL from a browser on the device or emulator.
    http://SMP_Server_IP_Address:8080/sapui5/
If the above URL opens correctly in a browser on the machine that the SMP server is running on but not from the browser on a mobile device or emulator there is likely something such as a firewall preventing communication over port 8080.
Here is a link to the Getting Started With Hybrid or Kapsel for SMP 3.0 document.

    hi
I've never worked on ECC 5.0 version..however, I can only tell u that this could be the issue that code written in 4.7 may not be supported in 5.0..so try to get a good idea of ECC 5.0 before u start coding in this..

I didn't see anything obviously wrong with your app. I'm guessing that

That should prove whether it's working or not.

  • Error while Refreshing provider when tried to view the portlet on portalpag

    Hi All,
We have developed an oracle PDK portlet in jdeveloper 10g. The name of the application is ChngPasswd. This
application is deployed on OAS 10.1.3.1.0. The deployment was successful. Now,
I tried to register the web provider which was deployed on OAS 10.1.3.1.0 in
OracleAS portal. The registration was successful and I was able to view the
    portlet.
These portlets can be protected in oracle portal by granting access to particular users, which also works fine.
But, the application that is deployed on 10.1.3.1.0 can be accessed by anyone. This should not happen. So, I
tried to protect the application deployed on 10.1.3.1.0 using the following
    syntax applied in mod_osso.conf file:
    <Location /ChngPasswd>
    require valid-user
    AuthType Basic
    </Location>
With this whenever I tried to access the application page directly, the SSO login page appeared. After I
provide my credentials it goes to portlet test page.
But, with this configuration, when I go and refresh the provider or try to view the portlet on
the portal page, it gives an error. The error is as follows:
    Error
    Internal error (WWC-00006)
An error occurred while trying to refresh the provider. (WWC-43190)
An unexpected error occurred: User-Defined Exception (WWC-43000)
An unexpected error occurred: User-Defined Exception (WWC-43000)
The provider URL specified may be wrong or the provider is not running. (WWC-43176)
With this I am able to protect the application but the portlets doesnt work.
Now, I tried to remove the location tag from mod_osso.conf file of OAS 10.1.3.1.0 and tried
refreshing the provider. This works fine.
I hope this gives you a clear understanding of the problem.
pls Suggest what needs to be done.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Syed.

    Hi Syed,
There could be multiple reasons for it.
    1. First run the utlrp.sql utility and then try your system. Sometimes, even the presence of invalid objects cause a similar error stack in a similar system too.
    - Login to SQLPlus as the sys user.
    - sql>@db_oracle_home/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql
    2. You might also wanna see the following notes on Metalink. The issue seems similar as well as the error stack. The OAS is different but then in my experience, the cause of the problem often stays the same or gives a better clue to attack it. Also, you wont find as much stuff for any recent release as you would get for an older one.

This is with a simple cube with only one dimension. i had created the same cube earlier with 10 dimensions but same error occurred. i felt it had to do with my setup of the cube. I have recreated the cube a couple of times with different names but same error exists. interestingly all dimensions are viewable after maintenance.
I am begining to doubt the efficacy of AWM + oracle OLAP in use for a production environment. i have been at this for quite some time but no solution yet. please i would appreciate anyhelp

Have you ever had any cube working in this environment? yes. i had created multiple versions of the same cube with fewer dimensions. I had created a cube (USAGE) with 5 dimensions, it worked. I later created same cube with 10 dimensions, that was the Genesis of the error. i had exported the eif file, deleted the awm, reimpored the awm, same errors. recreated the cube same error. i even tried recreating the cube wih one dimension but the same error persists.
    database is Release 11.1.0.7.0
    AWM standalone client :awm11.1.0.7.0B

  • Concurrency Visualizer Extension (VS2013): "An unknown error occurred while trying to start the collection process."

Not sure if this is the right place to ask about this but since my question concerns an extension I'll give it a shot.
I'm trying to use the Visual Studio 2013 Concurrency Visualizer extension to debug a simple test console application. I've set executive paging to disabled in the registry as it directed and hit "add SDK to project" in the concurrency
visualizer menu options. And of course, restarted my computer to apply the settings. When I try to "start [the concurrency visualizer] with current project" I get an error popup:
"An unknown error occurred while trying to start the collection process."
I really need the concurrency profiling to start debugging contention in my multithreaded application. Prompt assistance would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
This forum is to discuss and ask questions about extending and integrating with Visual Studio (using the Extension Manager, building VSX containers for deployment, Visual Studio SDK, and more), Visual Studio Online (REST APIs, service hooks, and OAuth),
    and Team Foundation Server.
You have problems when using Concurrency Visualizer Extension, please ask in
the page under "Q AND A". Since Concurrency Visualizer is a diagnostic tool, you can post this issue in
Visual Studio Diagnostics (Debugger, Profiler, IntelliTrace) forum too.

  • Are workmanagers visible in the jndi tree viewer?

Hi, I'm trying to setup a workmanager, and I'm having a few problems, but I'm just wondering if I'm falling at the first hurdle. I've tried creating workmanagers at the global and application level, but looking in the admin console for my server they never show up in the jndi tree viewer. Should I expect to see my workmanager there? If I look in the deployment then I do see that the workmanager exists, alongside default.
    Thanks.

If you create a workmanager at the application level, you'll see the work manager in the console under Deployments -> your app -> Monitoring ->Workload.
If you create a workmanager at the domain / server level and reference it within your app's deployment descriptors ( wl-dispatch-policy ), you can look under Servers ->your app's targeted server -> Deployments -> your app -> Monitoring -> Workload. In this case, you'll see all the workmanagers targeted to that server, but you can confirm your app's usage of the correct wm by submitting a request to your app and seeing an increase in the completed requests column of the display.
A work manager configured at the domain / server level doesn't have a JNDI name attribute that you enter. You just use the same workmanager name in your deployment descriptor <wl-dispatch-policy>someWM</wl-dispatch-policy>.
The handling of stuck threads seems to be a trouble point for application defined workmanagers, so we've decided to stick with individual server level work managers for each app.
