Standard WSDL for Date given the Location

hi all,
Is there a standard webservice (WSDL file) for my requirement?
My Requirement:
I give the Location - Country+City.
I should get the DATE-TIME of that location.
Could you please help me?

Pointing FCE to Look for Data at New Location

FCE is in my laptop, but original clips (within an iMovie project) were taken from an External Disk ("ED"). When I opened the finished FCE project, I still had to be connected to the ED in order to keep all the files intact.
I copied the iMovie file into the laptop, and then Set the Preference to look for data in the new location in the laptop, but it is not working. Only upon re-connecting to the ED can all the files be found and viewed again.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated; thank you for your time and efforts.

Piero, thank you for the reply. Reconnecting individual clip to the corresponding clip in the new location will be difficult as the clips are in iMovie, which (unlike in the old iMovie) does not actually show us all the individual clips.
I suppose I will just have to start over, OR a good lesson for next time, to make sure where everything should be.

Enrollment of Benefits for a dependent and for date in the past

Hello Experts-
Can anyone let me know? What kind of changes need to be done on backend and portal for enrollment iview to enable a date in past for enrolling a dependent to the benefits..

The way we have configured this as follows:
- We ask employees to first add all the dependents to the system before beginning their enrollment process.
- Adjusted the Use cases for the Dependent infotype and subtypes accordingly.
- Implemented the BADI (with custom logic for DEFAULT_DATE) HRXSS_PER_BEGDA to control the start date of the enrolled dependents.
- We control the start date of the dependent records created in various ways (birth day of dependent, employee start date, adjustment reasons, ... )
With this, we are able to provide employees with the ability to add dependents as of a past date and hence enroll dependents in Benefit plans as well.

Using translate for date in the control file !!

I am having data file where in i expect date but get non-numeric character.
I am generating control file dynamically (programatically).
While creating control file i know that here the type of data will be date so i put datatype as date. But at one place i got non numeric character instead of date.
Now i want to put somekind of logic built in my dynamic generation which will check whether if value within that column is character then make it null and then load data. And if it is numeric keep it as it it.
i.e.
if(non-numericChars)
make value null before loading.
else
keep the value as it and then load it.
I heard that with translate function we can do that. Right ?
So if i have a line like this in my control file:
column_Name date "MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI:SS AM"
How should i write the above statement to put the above mentioned logic.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Purpose
TO_DATE converts char of CHAR, VARCHAR2, NCHAR, or NVARCHAR2 datatype to a value of DATE datatype. The fmt is a date format specifying the format of char. If you omit fmt, then char must be in the default date format. If fmt is 'J', for Julian, then char must be an integer.
Note:
This function does not convert data to any of the other datetime datatypes. For information on other datetime conversions, please refer to TO_TIMESTAMP, TO_TIMESTAMP_TZ, TO_DSINTERVAL, and "TO_YMINTERVAL".
The default date format is determined implicitly by the NLS_TERRITORY initialization parameter, or can be set explicitly by the NLS_DATE_FORMAT parameter.
The 'nlsparam' has the same purpose in this function as in the TO_CHAR function for date conversion.
Do not use the TO_DATE function with a DATE value for the char argument. The first two digits of the returned DATE value can differ from the original char, depending on fmt or the default date format.
Note:

Filter a List for data from the Previous Month

Hello,
I have audit data for each month of the year. At the beginning of one month I pull a report from the previous month. I would like to have a view in my SharePoint list that shows only the data from the previous month.
I am not a programmer or developer, so I was wondering if this is possible without out of the box tools.
Here is what I have done so far:
Created two calculated columns to find the start and end date of the previous month
Previous Month Start =DATE(YEAR([Date of Review]),MONTH([Date of Review])-1,1)
Previous Month End =DATE(YEAR([Date of Review]),MONTH([Date of Review]),0)
I have verified these two calculations do show the correct dates.
So I can generate the dates, but I don't know how to set up a view filter that will show only data from the previous month.
Please help.

What you need is the calculated column to display the start and the end of the next month, not the previous month. Then you can do a view filter where Start<Today & End>Today.
EX: If you have a document with date 15-03-2014, you need to save the dates 01-04-2014(start) and 30-04-2014(End).
Then If Start < [Today] and End > [Today], you can show the document

Searching for Data in the Report for a non-selected column in display.

I have an interactive report as given below:
select user, dept_name, sal, description, title from hr;
Now, in the report display options I remove the title and description from the display as you know title and description are 2000 characters each.
If I show then it takes the whole page to display one record and with this option I can search any text in the Title or Description columns.
Now, I have hidden these two columns and when I search I do not see any records.
Can any one tell me how to achieve this behaviour.
What I am looking is, I do not show the column 'TITLE' or 'DESCRIPTION' and user show be able to search for any important data inside these columns.
Please let me know how can we do this.
Please point me to an already published article or solution or any help on this type.
Appreciate your help on this.

As far as I can see this will not work. You could use a trick and make a query like this:
SELECT USER, dept_name, sal,
apex_item.hidden (10, mgrdescription || title)
|| '<img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#some_nice_icon.gif">' title_description
FROM hrThis would not display the title and description but an image and it would give you a possibility to filter on those.

Error: Enter rate XDS/USD rate type M for date in the system settings

Hi Experts,
We are getting above error while creating travel request in portal. As per the functional consultant that rate is no more used in out system so no more conversion rate is available.
But we still get this error. In the portal screen, we do not have any option to enter that currency but still some how that gets defaulted in the standard code and look for the rate.
Please let me know if anyone has faced the issue in past and how did you overcome.

Hi,
You can maintain exchange rate factors in TCURF table via RSA1>source system>context menu (transfer global settings check only currencies, this updates TCURF table but also updates all currency related tables). You need to check what all tables you need to update. Also you can look into standard program RSIMPCUST to know what all currency tables will be updated.

Formula Logic for Dates in the Cell Editor in Query Designer

Hi All
We are on BI7. (This is in the Cell Editor in Query Designer)
I am trying to create a formula in one cell that enters a date based on the following logic (Lets call this formula A):
I also have a placeholder "Cell reference" for a Date in another cell in the Cell Editor (Lets call it B).
I also have two other dates in seperate cells in the Editor (Lets call them C and D)
What i need to do is check that either C or D are not blank i.e one at least has a date and if so enter the date that is in B in A.
My formula logic in (Cell A) at the moment is as follows:
( Cell C <> 0 ) OR ( Cell D <> 0) * Cell B
When I run the query It is coming back with either a 1 or 0 depending if there is a date in C or D.
What I want it to do is to display the actual date of 'Cell B' in 'Cell A' if ( Cell C <> 0 ) OR ( Cell D <> 0)
If the value of B is blank ie no date I also want A to be blank i.e not equal zero or a blank date ie 00/00/0000
Example 1
Cell A    08/09/2009
Cell B    08/09/2009
Cell C   15/03/2010
Cell D
Cell A should = 08/09/2009 as there is a Date in Cell C or D and if so enter the date of Cell B in cell A
Example 2

Cell A should = BLANK as there is a NO Date in Cell C or D

It seems you have done almost everything...
What it seems that is missing is probably the cell reference for Cell C and for Cell D, or did you forget to mention it here?
So here it is the big idea:
- In the Cell Editor of the query designer, create a new cell reference for Cell C, let's name it ref_cell_c;
- In the Cell Editor of the query designer, create a new cell reference for Cell D, let's name it ref_cell_d;
- In the Cell Editor of the query designer, create a new cell reference for Cell B, let's name it ref_cell_b;
- In the Cell Editor of the query designer, create a new formula for Cell A, let's name it form_cell_a;
The form_cell_a should be created by the following:
( COUNT(ref_cell_c) + COUNT(ref_cell_d) ) * ref_cell_b
So COUNT(operand) returns 1 if operand is different of 0 else it returns 0; So if ref_cell_c has any valu or ref_cell_d has any value it should return the value of ref_cell_b.
Please note that with this formula, if you have values in both ref_cell_c and ref_cell_d this formula returns 2 * ref_cell_b, which is not what you pretend, I'm assuming you'll have value only for the following combinations:
ref_cell_c has value but ref_cell_d don't have any
ref_cell_c don't have any value but ref_cell_d has a value
ref_cell_c don't have any value neighther has ref_cell_d any

Set measure to NULL for dates in the future

Hi all
I am trying to set the values of a measure to NULL in case the date is in the future.
I have a time dimension and fact table. What I have so fat is the following:
IIF([Date].[CalendarDetailed].CURRENTMEMBER.Name < format(now(), "yyyy-MM-dd"),

This actualy works quite well. The only problem I have is, that on every month level it show me NULL. I guess it is, because the value for a month is e.g. "January 2014", which doesn't work with the condition.
How can I modify the script, that I also get a value on the month levels.

I typically use the function ISEMPTY. I'm not a master at MDX so I can't tell you the exact syntax without actually playing around with your query. You could try something like this:

File fragmentation is not an issue with OS X, which looks after itself.

How can I calculate the number of members with data for a given Dimension

HiI want to be able to calculate the exact size of the data given the number of blocks in existence.I am trying to work out a way of estimating the effect of changing Dimensions from Spare to Dense and to see which Dimensions would be worth it.Currently I have Cost Centre and Reference Code dimensions. I know that roughly 90% of the Cost Centres are used against just one member of Reference Codes but the other 10% are against multiple Reference Codes.I also have a number of other dimensions and the problem I come up against is that when I change a Dimension from Sparse I really don't know how many blocks will be in existence at the end of it so I can't multiply this against the blocksize to predict the total datasize.Any thoughts (the artistic "suck it and see" solution is obvious but I'd like to cut down on experiments - they take too long)Thanks

The location not appears in the wsdl

Hi everyone,
I've a problem with a zwebservice, this zwebservice is created by means of BAPI in R3 to be used from webdynpro in java.
When I try to check the webservice in the WSNavigator shows me the following error "The Endpoint URL is not valid", if I open the WSDL I cannot see the location tag with the URL.
Could any expert help me?

Our company in 2007, was bought Design Standard CS3 for Windows. The certificate shall have the serial numbers for the Mac platform and Windows. But on the DVD program for the Windows platform.
