    Hello
I have a database on linux with standby configured on different server with same os and database version. When i was about clone primary database through OEM,it stuck in the middle and popup for recovery. I restored and recover whole database. Then, the alert log on the standby database shows this error.
Possible network disconnect with primary database.
I checked standby databsase, listener is up & running. But archive files are getting into standby database.
What should i do now? Please anybody can put some light on this.
    Thanks

Is there anything in the primary alert log? Can you tnsping the standby instance from the primary server, and the primary instance from the standby server?

    Am I missing something here?

    Hey Mini,
It sounds good it works now.
For future reference you may see the #show crypto files to compare the SSL files which you got in the boxes.
Additionally, please be aware that sometimes if there´s any crash in one device and generates a core dump file, they might detect that as a difference.
Then in general you may follow these instructions:
    1) Check with #show crypto files
    2) Compare both configurations.
    3) Check #show version to see if there was a crash which you did not notice.
    Hope this helps!

  • Add new datafile to logical standby database but not in primary

    Hi,
Is it ok to add a new datafile to the SYSAUX tablespace on the logical standby database but not on primary? We are running out of disk space on the partition where SYSAUX01.dbf resides so we want to add a new SYSAUX02.dbf in another partition which has space. but this will only be on the logical standby not on primary, there is still lots of space in primary. standby_file_management is MANUAL and this is LOGICAL STANDBY not PHYSICAL.
Is this possible or where there be any issues?
    Thanks.

Logical Standby can differ from Primary, it can have extra tablespaces, datafiles, tables, indexes, users ...

  • DR sync with primary

    Hi
Just not sure about this so posting to check with you guys how to find out the standby(DR)database is in sync with the primary database.
    Any suggestion is highly apprciated.
    Regards

Please run the following query on your primary and standby database
    Primary:
    select thread#,max(sequence#) from v$archived_log;
    Standby:
    select thread#,max(sequence#) from v$archived_log where applied='YES';
If the both the query give out the same sequence# then the standby is in sync with the primary database

  • Unable to refresh the schema of FIM MA.Getting an error in Event viewer ""the current version of database is not compatible with the one expected by Forefront Identity Manager service. The current version of database is : 1116. The expected version is :1"

    Hi,
We have installed FIM MA with an account that have all the sufficient rights. It got created successfully and worked for Full Import and Full Sync. But, due to some version incompatabilities, we have installed a patch.PFB link for the patch.
    http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2969673/en-us
Now, we are trying to refresh the schema of FIM MA. While doing that we are facing an error "Failed to connect to database". The user account with which we are connecting has read and write permissions on DB.In the event viewer some errors are
logged like  "the current version of database is not compatible with the one expected by Forefront Identity Manager service. The current version of database is : 1116. The expected version is :1122" with event ID 3. PFB images for more detailed
    view.
Please advice how to fix the issue.
    Thanks
    Prasanthi.

    Hello,
seems to me that you maybe only updated the syncengine but not portal/webservice.
I had that error once after an recovery from scratch and forgot one of the hotfixes to apply to all services.

  • Calendar will not sync with Exchange server or most Google Calendars

    Hi,
I am writing about my wife's brand new Samsung Charge on Verizon. We managed to setup both her gmail account and her work exchange server account fine, except for the calendars:
Her Google calendar shows up fine, but I am unable to even see any other Google calendars that she has access to (both her own secondary calendars as well as calendars that others have shared with her) in order to select them to be visible.
Her exchange calendar says it is enabled (on the list of available calendars), but no events at all show up.
This behavior is with the latest software updates on the Charge (2.2.1 firmware, I510.EE4 build) using its stock calendar software. I did notice that if I use Smooth Calendar, it does list all of her Google calendars under its listing of available calendars, but it still only shows data from her primary calendar. This is also true using the Touch Calendar app, which leads me to believe that there is some problem within the Google Calendar sync software that is not allowing her calendars to appear correctly.
    Thanks!

  • PRU is not synced with the LC_TallyProducts

    Hi!
For a bit more than a year now our inventory service has been malfunctioning, making our servers just collecting the inventory files and not actually doing anything with them.
If i check loader-messages.log while restarting services this sticks out:
    [TRACE] [02/02/2015 15:16:30.941] [10424] [ZENLoader] [76] [] [ApplyPruAM] [] [Applied PRU is version 3.6.A.16:20131202] [] [] [] [ZENServer]
    [TRACE] [02/02/2015 15:16:30.942] [10424] [ZENLoader] [76] [] [ApplyPruAM] [] [Applied LMPRU is version 3.6.A.16:20131105] [] [] [] [ZENServer]
    (SNIP)
    [TRACE] [02/02/2015 15:17:01.340] [10424] [ZENLoader] [75] [] [InventoryStorer] [] [PRU is not synced with the LC_TallyProducts ### PRUVersion:3.6.A.16:20131202 LMPRUVersion3.6.A.16:20131105] [] [] [] [ZENServer]
This last line is then repeated once in a while, perhaps whenever a client uploads an inventory report.
Trying to deploy new PRUs the following seems to happen:
The PRU is downloaded to /var/opt/novell/zenworks/content-repo/system-update/5D023C0602F248D9AEEB7CCA2E351132
    It is unzipped to /var/opt/novell/zenworks/system-update/apply/5d023c0602f248d9aeeb7cca2e351132
Then it bails out trying to apply the PRU, complaining that a zip file can't be extracted (see attatched log)
The file in 1) above is a working zip file, seems to be copied to 2) and unzipped. In 2) there is a folder named pre which contains pru.zip. I suppose this is created somehow, but unfortunately is seems broken.
I've tried downloading the PRU on two servers, one old and one new that hasn't had any PRUs applied at all. Same result.
Looking at https://www.netiq.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=7014562 it's suggested to check if PRUVersion and LMPRUVersion from the NC_Pru table in the database are identical.
They unfortunately are not: PRUVersion is 3.6.A.16:20131202 and LMPRUVersion is 3.6.A.16:20131105.
We don't have any SR:s available so I'm hoping someone here know more about this. It's not that serious for us, we have other ways to inventory our devices, but it's nice having it as a complement.
    Any suggestions are welcome!

  • Device Manager not Syncing with Outlook Calendar

My calendar stopped syncing after I deleted my account at Blackberry Internet Service web site (because IT changed the server name).
Now.....my calendar does not sync with Outlook.
I uninstalled my previous version of desktopmanager & just downloaded Desktopmanger 5.0.1 for Vista w/ Outlook 2007.  My memopad is syncing fine, but not my calendar.
I tried "clearing the device database calendar" and I made sure that wireless sync is OFF.  I tried a one way sync from Outlook to my device.
    Nothing seems to work.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    AP

No, but the contacts are ok

  • IOS 7 iPad 2 Calendar not Syncing with Google Calendar

I recently updated my iPad 2 from ios 5.x to 7.0.4 and everything seems to be working fine... except the calendar. I went into settings, added my google account - which does not have 2-step verification - logged in normally, and made sure calendar sync was enabled. Calendar app did not show any of my calendars. I removed it, added it again; removed, rebooted, add, reboot; I made sure I am putting in the right account, contacts sync up correctly. I dont know whats wrong. I've waited a least 45 minutes for it to sync up - it didn't. Please help!
    Thanks!
