Using TOPLink with WebLogic Server I get this error message
when invoking startWebLogic. The connection pool to an Oracle
DB is set up, two entity beans have to be used.

Exporting DI batch to BAT and set DI parameter/variable at run time

Hi All,
We are looking to call DI batch job externally and pass parameter/variable at run time.
We tried exporting DI batch to a bat file and setting substitution parameters during export.
In the exported .bat file, it references a .txt file which shows the name of the substitution paramemters but the value of the parameters are encrypted.
Does anyone know how to pass parameter/variable to a DI batch job at run time externally?

I tried out this method and I have some additional issues.
1. if we use the BOE scheduler the text parameter file is using a specific naming convention that is not clearly documented. it is like : -GV"$VAR=ENCRYPTEDVALUE;"... trying to modify it with a clear value like -GV"$VAR=MYVALUE;" was simply ignored by the scheduler... seems also that BOE did not sent any scheduling request to the DI Job Launcher...
What is the proper convention please?
2.Is there a better way to enter this parameter than editing the TXT file. Most of the BOE InfoView users are not allowed to modify or store documents.. This is not very convenient if they cannot enter simply the parameter values in a let say more confortable way...

Adding phones and users with bat and LDAP sync

What are the various ways of importing users with phones when the Communications Manager 9.0 is sync'd with LDAP. Also, what method is the easiest and fastest?
For example, I could do the following steps:
Sync CUCM with LDAP to import new users, add phones using bat files, manually update users to associate devices etc
I believe I should also be able to do the above method and use a bat file to update the users to associate devices etc. This method still involves 2 steps and the creation of 2 seperate bat files.
In CUCM version 9 it is possible to have local and LDAP users, so is it possible to add the phones and users using the phones/users tab of the bat file and have them beocme LDAP users?

Dgz.dll not found worked fine till today. Loaded 4.11 bata and still same error

Question should read VGJ.dll not found. Then said reloading the program may correct.
I downloade the bata verion of 4.11 and still get the same error with both 3.6 and 4.11?

In any event, disabling Protected Mode is the only way I've found to prevent the crashes from happening.

Apparently, Firefox is blaming Adobe and has no plans to do anything about it. I was given some reassurance, however, by the comment that adblock plus offers protection from harmful flash content.

Unfortunately, it did nothing to fix the problem.

SOAP Adapter and StringIndexOutOfBoundsException

I have a SOAP-> RFC scenario and I trying to send a message using both encoded header and query string but I get the following exception in the client:

The URL I´m trying is something like this:

MLB at Bat and Yankees on YES

I am an MLB.tv premium subscriber and a YAnkees on YES subscriber (this allows me to watch Yankee games in MLB.tv even if I'm in new York when they would normally be blacked out). I love the idea of streaming to the iPhone, but before I take the plunge I was wondering if the app not only streamed MLB.tv games that are not blacked out in my area, but also recognized me as a Yankees on YES subscriber and lets me watch the Yankee games in-market?

Yes, to run a script, the NETLOGON share would, indeed, be the best location.
However, placing shortcuts through a script does not seem the best approach to tackle this challenge. With the Group Policy Preferences Client Side Extensions installed by default on Windows 7 (and up), creating shortcuts with Preferences would be a
far better, easier and more flexible solution.

When the site upgraded to 3.6 I lost my tool bat and all the functions.

When I allowed the site up-grade to the 3.6 level Firefox, everything worked fine. I turned off my PC and came back later. When I turned on the PC and tried to get Firefox, I get the Main page, but the tool bar is missing...along with all of my bookmarks. I tried rebooting but, no help...

since all it runs is a java runtime environment id guess it cannot find the java.exe. You might want to check your JAVA_HOME environment variable setting on the server.

Adobe Pro X and Bates/Page Numbering Cuts off 1/3 of Page - Please Help

Hello!
We have been using both the bates and page numbering features in Adobe Pro X on Windows 7 with various .pdf files. However, when we scan files using Adobe Pro 6 on XP in combination with a Visioneer/Xerox Documate 632 scanner, and when adding bates or page numbers to these files, the image on the page shifts and cuts off one-third of the image. (We use Adobe Pro 6 and XP with this scanner because Pro 6 is not compitable with Windows 7 and Pro X requires too many mouse clicks when compared to Pro 6; thus saving time in the field. We like the page and bates numbering feature in Pro X because it shrinks the document to avoid overwriting texts and graphics.
Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue aside from using Pro X with the time spent using the additional mouse clicks?

I am new to essbase, I am trying to setup schedule default calculation, but I am a little confusssed about the process, here is what did for testing:
1. Create simple Calc Script under Test.test in EAS: CalAll.csc like this:

SET UPDATECALC OFF;
Calc All;
2. Create MaxL script as MaxLTest.mxl:
Spool on to 'D:\log\Test.log';
Login admin password;
execute calculation CalAll on Test.test;
spool off;
exit;
3. Create MaxL.bat file like this:
/*log in user */
login admin password;
ESSMSH MaxLTest.mxl
EXIT
Does this sounds right? I double click on MaxL.bat and windows going out quickly, also I don't see any Test.log generated.

3. you mention that I also need to specify the path of my maxl script, so I put my maxl script at D:\Script, then MaxLScript should change to this?

4. I search on essmsh, it return couple of path under my Hyperion folder, which one I should use, for example:
D:\Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseServer\bin
D:\Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient\bin
D:\Hyperion\common\EssbaseRTC\11.1.1.2\bin, etc.
5. My complete .bat should be like this?

CFExecute and Bat issues

Here is my coldfusion page (gogogo.cfm):

The page is on our server "Rotary" and I am trying to restart
the networked server "Sun". If I run the batch file manually it
works just fine, Sun restarts. And if I run the coldfusion page
with a different batch file, like to restart the local server, it
works just fine. But when I try to run the batch file off that
coldfusion file, it won't work.
In other words:
I want to be on my computer and call
www.website.com/gogogo.cfm (which is on the Rotary server) and have
it run restartsun.bat and restart the Sun server and it will not do
that.
Anyone have any idea?
