Status - Notification

Hi ALL,
I am creating notification >>> Created repair order from action box.
System says, Repair order will be created after saving,
When I try to save notificaton system give error as
Status object already exists
Message no. IM252
Diagnosis
This refers to an error in central status management.
Procedure
Please refer to your system administrator.
Then I TRY to reach on TASK TAB it gives error
Object does not exist (status management)
Message no. IM258

This refers to an error in central status management.
Task status
The central status management connection at task level will only be supported from Release 3.0.
For this reason, no task status is available for statuses created before changing to Release 3.0, and status change is therefore also not possible.
Procedure
In the case of task statuses of notifications in releases prior to 3.0:
When you save a notification you can create a status for the tasks.
In the case of notification or task statuses for notifications from Release 3.0:
Please refer to your system administrator.

One of OIM email templates is Task Status Email Notification. I am trying to notify the user (Notification tab) using this template but it didn't work. Even when I set the Object Name and Process Name values for an email definition, it does not work.
How have you implemented task status notification in your workflows? I think if this template exists in OIM, by default, so it is posible to have the information below during notifications.
I think I'll have to call Oracle's Support.

I didn't get any answer until now.. Below it is what I've done.
a) Create an entity adapter that is assigned to the post-update of the Specific Task Info data object.
b) Select the task information searching by SCH_KEY, for example (I have to do more tests)

With that I solved another problem: I have to send an e-mail always the assignee adds a note to the task.

I want to extend my doubt a little more.
I have a requirment as below.
User will enter a range of Date say 01.06.2011 to 25.06.2011.
I need to show him data in two columns one cloumn for the entered day range and second column for prevoius month date rangei.e(01.05.2011 to 25.05.2011)
can i achive this without using Customer Exit.

Now that the "Status Bar" is gone, is there a way to hide the "status notification" (bottom left corner) when a page loads? This is on Windows & FF5/6

The so called "Status Bar" has apparently gone away since FF4, I'm now onto 6 I think, on my work machine. But one of the things I liked about the Status Bar was that it could be hidden entirely.
With no Status Bar, now when a page is loaded in FF, you get a floating "Status Notification" in the bottom left corner for a second or two while the page is loading (this even happens in FullScreen F11, something I never had to deal with when the Status Bar existed).
What I want to know is, is there a way to turn off this "Status Notification" entirely? A setting somewhere? Something in About:config? I haven't been able to find anything.

Change status notification for PM (update to 'NTBC' status)

Hi everyone, i'm still newbie to using BAPI and BDC and i need your help. My problem is when i change status notification to NTBC using function module <b>'STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN'</b>, this fm change status successfully but bypass validation to malfunction date and time, i want to save this error to my message log. Is there another BAPI that change status notification but also validate malfunction date and time (this validation arise when change status to NTBC only) ? Thank you

Step 1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the monitor and the wall
Step 2. Hold the power button down for at least one minute
Step 3. Plug the power cord back into the monitor and then into the wall outlet
Step 4. Press the Menu button on the monitor
Step 5. Navigate to the Factory Reset option and select it
Step 6. Try a different cable connecting your monitor to your computer
If the above steps did not resolve your issue you can try the monitor on a computer or other device to see if the issue persists. I accept that the recipient must actually confirm receipt but until very recently I could request a delivery status report and would get confirmation that an email had been delivered to the intended server or not as the case may be. Suddenly these confirmations have stopped and I think it unlikely that all the receiving servers have simultaneously been programmed not to send delivery status confirmation. Confirmation of delivery to the receiving server is important, sometimes vital, in my work to demonstrate that non-receipt is a problem at the receiving end and that a document or email was actually sent.

How can I make the return receipt and deliver status notification work ?y

are they not working, or has the recipient simply declined to send them? That is the real question. Sending mail to yourself rarely triggers the return receipt

Edit subject for "Delivery Status Notification Failure"-messages

We have an Ironport c160 and I wonder if it is possible to edit the subject for the the automatic reply email instead of Delivery Status Notification Failure? We have a content management system (CMS) and I would like to have the ticket number in the subject, just the way it does when the reply is from our internal Exchange server. For example Undeliverble message case #1234-1234567 instead of Delivery Status Notification Failure.

Sounds like someone is spoofing spam from your e-mail address. They do not need to have access to your account. Spammers nearly always put a fake address on the To line, and sometimes they pick an address from their databases as that "fake." So they're putting your address on a fake To line in their e-mails and you're getting the bounces.
It could be possible that they have hacked your e-mail account, and to protect against that possibility you should change the password on that account. However, this is probably not what has happened.

All off a sudden I get waiting for job status notification on a package that has worked for years

Does anyone else have this problem, the package in question is Adobe CS 5.5, this package as worked for years all of a sudden the OSD, gives
waiting for job status notification and hangs forever on the installation of Adobe CS 5.5
If I run the batch file manually that I am using in the SCCM package for Adobe CS 5.5
it works perfectly, but when part of an OSD I now get waiting for job status notification.
Any advice would be great.

Delivery Status Notification not updating properly??????

Am working on in Java Mail API. My application mainly used for sending automated e-mails to Outlook and I have to update the status of that e-mail whether that e-mail has been sent or not, by using DSN(Delivery Status Notification). Here we are using SMTP exchange server and POP3.
Below lines explain you how we updating the status of that e-mail status:
When receipient got automated e-mails from our application, one Delivery Receipt will goes to our Outlook mailbox(which gets only the delivery,read receipt status e-mail from that receipients). After they read that e-mail one Read Receipt will goes to that same mail box. Here we have one Java program which reads that mailbox using POP3. While reading that mailbox we are updating that status of the e-mail using some logics.
Perfectly I can able to update these DSN status in report in my developement environment(here we are using our own configured exchage server). Am using RFC822 to do this.
following sample code snippet:

Nothing guarantees that you'll get a DSN or MSN.
The server that ultimately delivers the email might not support DSNs or might be configured not to send them.
The mail reader used to read the message might not support MSNs or the user might choose not to allow them to be sent.
Unless you have control over all the mail servers and mail readers being used, you can't depend on getting DSNs or MSNs.

Ichat status notifications

I've been using iChat for some time now with Chax to consolidate my AIM, GTalk, and Facebook chat. Only recently, I've started seeing pop-ups showing my friends status (i.e. "JoeSmith is idle") I've never seen this before and I haven't made any changes to my settings. I can't seem to get the pop-ups to go away. Any ideas on how to approach this? Thanks in advance!

BPM: send green status notification?

Dear Expert,
we are using BPM in DSWP to monitor background jobs & interfaces.
the problem with us is the BPM only triggered yellow & red alerts whenever there is problem.
but when the problem is fixed by someone, there isn't way to send a green status alert to user for information.
can this be done?
we need send green status alert to functional or business user, they are not logon to solution manager to monitor the alert, but they request whenever the problem solved by operation team, they should then receive, or being informed by a green alert. How can this be done ?
please advise.

Droid 4 mystery status/notification bar icon

I have noticed the past week or so a new icon that flashes above my signal bars, next to the 4G. it looks like a little person but my eyesight sucks and I can't really tell. It only appears during 4G mode, whether i'm on WIFI or not. What is that?!

Clear Critical status notifications

I've setup notification for critical states in OEM. We are getting the alerts and everything was beautiful, until we got one that no one cares about. I've removed the metric from rules that we get alerted on, but the notifications keep coming. What tha..........??? Do I need to clear something else?
