Step 1: rotating text, step: 2 publishing movie = empty swf

Hello to everybody,
and thank you for the attenction.
An easy to descipt, but hard to solve issue:
(Flash CS4).
I type some text in a flash document.
Then I rotate it with the scale/rotation tool.
Publishing my movie I have an empty swf file.
To solve this problem I had to Break Apart (Command+B) my
text two times, until I've lost text editability.
Is there a way to escape from this?
Thank you very much.
Best reguards.

Text

Problem soved!
You know what?
You have to go in the Text propiety panel, select the "Anti
Alias" menu, and - to mantain visibility of text in the swf movie -
you have to select one of the others voices instead of the "use
device fonts" one.
Best things.

    Hi Hikmet,
    In a business relationship, it is essential that business partners exchange information throughout the logistics chain. In sales and distribution, this exchange of information is supported by texts in master records and documents. You can maintain these texts for one particular customer or define them so that they can be used more flexibly.
    Texts can be used in many areas of sales and distribution:

    Hi,
    In a business relationship, it is essential that business partners exchange information throughout the logistics chain. In sales and distribution, this exchange of information is supported by texts in master records and documents. You can maintain these texts for one particular customer or define them so that they can be used more flexibly.
    Texts can be used in many areas of sales and distribution:
    Sales notes for customers
    Sales texts for materials
    Explanations in order confirmations
    Shipping instructions in deliveries
    You can define as many text types as you require (sales texts, shipping texts, internal notes, supplement texts etc.) for master records and documents.
    You can take the settings for the texts from Sales and Distribution Customizing under Text control.
    Features
    You store the texts that are to serve as information carriers in the system and in the output in the customer master record, the material master record, and in the sales and distribution documents. In addition the following processing and control functions are supported:
    Texts are proposed from the master records in the sales and distribution documents, if you have made the appropriate setting.
    Texts can be copied from a reference sales and distribution document into another sales and distribution document (e.g. from an inquiry into a sales order or from an order into a delivery).
    The copying of texts can be made language dependent, if required.
    You can change copied texts.
    You can integrate standard texts into the sales and distribution documents.
    If you want to use texts more than once, you can enter these texts as standard texts and include them in the master record or document texts. If you define standard texts, they are included in the sales and distribution forms when they are issued.
    Some standard texts to which you can refer in the sales and distribution documents have been defined in the standard version of the SAP R/3 System.
    Notes on Entering Text
    You can use standard texts to give notes to the employee entering an sales and distribution document regarding the information he should include in specific header or item texts and the sequence in which he should do it. For example, by including a standard text such as a header note in the sales document, you can make sure that the employee specifies in the first line whether the customer has taken advantage of a sales promotion in his purchase order and in the second line, how (newspaper, radio etc.) he found out about the promotion.
    Proposals from the Master Records
    The standard text above must first of all be created and then included in a text in the customer master. You can define in Customizing whether this text is automatically proposed from the customer master record in the header note of the document header when you create a sales document.
    Standard texts can be proposed in the documents at header and item level in the same way from the material master record.
    Create
    To create a standard text, proceed as follows:
    Select Tools ® SAPscript ® Standard text on the main menu screen.
    Enter a name for the text to be created in the field Text name, the indicator ST in the field Text-ID, and the abbreviation for the language in which you want to create the text in the field Language.
    Select Create/Change.
    You switch to the SAPscript editor. If no standard text has been created with this name, the following message is displayed: Text  stands for the language indicator with which you control the language of the standard text. The line in which you make these entries must have the formatting key /: (paragraph format for a command line) in the format column.
    Calling Up At the Time of Issue
    In Customizing any number of standard texts can be included in the definition of a sales and distribution forms. The texts then appear in the appropriate place in the form when each output is issued.
    Further Information
    You will find additional information on the SAPscript editor and on INCLUDEs as well as examples online in the hypertext system under the text module name STXD_ED. Proceed as follows:
    Select Tools ® Hypertext ® Structures on the main menu screen.
    Enter the text module name in the Structure field and in the Language field the abbreviation for the required language.
    Select Structure ® Display.
    You reach the Display Structure screen.
    Place the cursor on the entry that you want to read and select Goto ® Document ® Read.
    The content of the text module is displayed on the screen.
    Select Back to return to the initial screen.

  • Step By Step Output n Text Determination

    Hi ,
             Can anybody kindly tell me step by step process to configure the ouput and text determinations?
    Points for sure
    Thanks in Advance
    Rama Chandra

    <a href="http://http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/30/c6853488601e33e10000009b38f83b/frameset.htm">OUTPUT DETERMINATION</a>
    Please find the Detailed Note on Text Determination.
    1) T-code VOTXN, for the text object Customer>Sales and distribution>click the Text types-->create your 4 digit Text ID
    2) Come back to initial screen of this t-code and again select the text object Customer-->Sales and distribution and click change. Select the text procedure and double click on the Text IDs in text procedure. Here you create a new sequence and select the 4 digit Text ID you have created initially.
    3) Assign the Text procedure which you have selected in step2 and double click on Text procedure assignment .Here you assign the Text ID to the Customer Accout group.
    4) In the customer master, sales area tab>Extras menu>text, Select the text which you have created now and enter text into it. And save.
    The text which you have created now ,can be used for multiple purpose(Ex. sales order,delivery,billing,pricing,inforecords,legal). for example in this case, You just want to display this text during sales order processing, then proceed as follows,
    5)T-code VOTXN ,for the text object Sales document>Header>click the Text types-->create your 4 digit Text ID.
    6) Come back to initial screen of this t-code and again select the text object Sales document-->Header and click change. Select the access sequence and create new access sequence(This access sequence is similar to that of in Pricing).Select this access sequence and double click the access sequence for text ids.Here in the first column this is Serial no. second column is text object(This is the area from which text has to be refer. In our case we have created the customer Text object for sales and distribution area, so i.e.KNVV) and the next column is Text id, this is the id which we have created at customer text object for sales and distribution initialy, at step 1). The next column is partner function, it will identify for which partner this text has defined. Next 2columns are Languages (if you want to define for all language or specified language), next column is for specified language for partner function. if you have any requirement to be fulfilled you can create those requirements in the next columns or else leave blank, save and come back to text proceudure.id.
    7) Select the text procedure (for ex.01-Sales header) and double click on the Text IDs in text procedure. Create new entries Fill in the sequence and the text id which we have created for sales document-header(in step 5).There is a small check box in the 3rd column which is used whether the text should be referred or copied(this is used if you want to modify the text during the sales order processing or just display the original text as it is),next column is whether the text should be displayed while creating or it is not obligatory, last column is access s sequce,this is nothing but the sequence which we have created in step 6) and save.
    8) in the final step assign the text procedure id to the particular sales order.
    As already we have created the customer text in the customer master record, so during the processing the sales order, the text should be displayed once the customer number is keyed in.
    Apart from Above please find some more stuff below:
    Text Determination Procedure steps
    1.spro, SD, basic functions, text control, define text types.
    There select the text object (Customer) and select the area (Ex: Sales and distribution) and click on Change. There u define Ur own Text determination procedure .Here u can maintain whether the text is obligatory or not
    2. Assign the Text determination Procedure (Assign it to account group in case of Maintaining Text information at the customer).
    3. Maintain the Text information (Ex: In customer master, go to sales area data, in the extra click on Texts and maintain the text information there).
    For further information on Text determination refer to
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/en/90/758534c960a134e10000009b38f83b/frameset.htm
    Text also uses the same condition technique used by pricing.
    A condition type = Text id in text determination
    So
    Create a text id for sales doc Header/item based on ur requirement
    Assign the text id to text procedure.
    Now the text id will appear in the Texts tab of the sales order item. Here you can go, select the text id and manually enter the text there and save the document.
    You can also update texts automatically in the sales order by creating access sequences and maintaining master data for texts. But I am little unclear about access sequence and master data as it is different from access sequence creation for pricing procedure or outputs.

  • Rotate/rotating text in SmartForms

    Need to rotate text 90 degrees in a SmartForm.
    The printers are all PCL based.
    New print-controls cannot be created.
    In PCL, the following command sets rotation:
    <ESC>&a#P
    where # is the number of degrees
    To rotate 90 degrees, the PCL command would be:
    <ESC>&a90P
    In SAPscript, I can use the print-control for <ESC>.
    /:  PRINT-CONTROL SESCP
    =  &a90P
    Another method that works involves standard texts.
    Define standard texts named ZPCLROTATE90 and ZPCLROTATE0.
    They willl set the rotation to 90 and reset to 0 degrees.
    /: PRINT-CONTROL SESCP
    ( &a90P
    /: PRINT-CONTROL SESCP
    ( &a0P
    The SAPscript uses the new standard text objects:
    AS  horizontal text
    /:  INCLUDE ZZPCLROTATE90 OBJECT TEXT ID ST
    AS  rotated text
    /:  INCLUDE ZZPCLROTATE0 OBJECT TEXT ID ST
    AS  horizontal again
    This also works in SAPscript.
    None of this seems to work in SmartForms.  I thought the INCLUDE text would work the same in SmartForms.  It does not.
    Tried the first method shown; SmartForms converts the "=" or "(" paragraph symbol to "*".  This separates the escape sequence and it becomes invalid.
    Any ideas?  They do not want to use SAPscript.  Cannot create a Z print-control.
    Thanks,
    Norm

    Hi,
       Try to follow the steps givenbelow in your SMARTFORM.
    1. Create a template and keep the text alone inside that you wanted to rotate.
    2. Above and Below your text, In the text element that you wanted to rotate give the Print control.
    Ex PRINT CONTROL 'SF201'
         &variable text&
        PRINT CONTROL'SF202'
    2. Create a command inside the window and enter the attribute name and the attribute value.
        Ex. Use Attribute name as S_LZPL_HR1
                     Attribute value as 'BC_CD39'
    3 Create another command above the template and enter the value "SF200" in Include Printer control.
    4.Create another command above the template and enter the value "SF202" in Include Printer control.
    I followed the above procedure for rotation of texts, and it worked.
    Thanks

  • Drawing rotated text revisited.....

    Hello again,
    I've recently started fiddling with an app that had a method to draw Strings at given Points on a custom JComponent, now I'm trying to extend it to draw the same strings, but throw in an angle should the user choose to do so. But... now here's the part thats foxing me, I want the Point specified to be the center of the String....., i've had a couple of goes, but as soon as the rotation comes in, it goes pair shaped (not literally ;-) , metaphorically).
    Here's some of the code I'm working on, feel free to point bad coding and glaringly obvious problems! I'm aware it doesn't quite do "exactly what it says on the tin", but its definitely a step in the right direction. It should work, but it doesn't. Thoughts anyone?
    /** Method to draw a text label to a specified graphics context.

         @param color The color of the label.
         @param angle The angle at which to draw , 0 = horizontal, 90 = vertical.
         @param position The Point at which to draw the label.*/
    public static void drawLabel(Graphics2D g2, String text, Font font, Color color, int angle, Point position)
    //get x,y coordinates from Point
    int x = new Double(position.getX()).intValue();
    int y = new Double(position.getY()).intValue();
    //rotate the point by the required angle
    x = (new Double((x*Math.cos(Math.toRadians(angle)))-(y*Math.sin(Math.toRadians(angle)))).intValue());
    y = (new Double((-x*Math.sin(Math.toRadians(angle)))+(y*Math.cos(Math.toRadians(angle)))).intValue());
    // get the current transform
    AffineTransform startMatrix = g2.getTransform();
    // make a new one...
    AffineTransform rotationMatrix = new AffineTransform();
    // set the text layout
    TextLayout tl = new TextLayout(text,font,g2.getFontRenderContext());
    // rotate the shiny new transform
    rotationMatrix.rotate(Math.toRadians(angle));
    // appy it to g2
    g2.transform(rotationMatrix);
    //set the color of the label
    g2.setPaint(color);
    //draw the label
    tl.draw(g2,x,y);
    //restore the transform for g2
    g2.setTransform(startMatrix);
    }Also I haven't sorted the drawing relative to the center of the string bit yet, so any advice on how to do this would be great.
    Cheers,
    Tom

    This is straightforward, once you understand transforms. I'm surprised no one's answered this yet. Here's an example:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import java.awt.font.*;
    import java.awt.geom.*;
    public class TestRotate extends Frame {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            new TestRotate().setVisible(true);
        private TestRotate() {
            super("Rotated Text");
            addWindowListener(new WindowAdapter() {
                    public void windowClosing(WindowEvent e) {
                        System.exit(0);
            setFont(new Font("default", Font.PLAIN, 24));
            setSize(300, 300);
        public void paint(Graphics g) {
            Graphics2D g2d = (Graphics2D)g;
            TextLayout layout = new TextLayout(
                "This is a string to rotate",
                g2d.getFont(),
                g2d.getFontRenderContext());
            Insets ins = getInsets();
            Dimension dim = getSize();
            Point center = new Point(
                ins.left + (dim.width - ins.left - ins.right) / 2,
                ins.top + (dim.height - ins.top - ins.bottom) / 2);
            g2d.translate(center.x, center.y);
            g2d.rotate(Math.PI / 4);
            layout.draw(g2d, -layout.getAdvance() / 2, 0);

  • Published movie cropped at bottom

    I have published a small swf file for embedding into a web
    page. When I view the SWF file by itself in my browsers, the bottom
    line of pixels is visible. When I view the published HTML file in
    the browser, or insert my movie into the web page in Dreamweaver
    using INSERT > MEDIA > FLASH, the bottom row of pixels (a
    one-pixel green line) is missing. I've tried several Publish
    settings and still see the same thing.
    I'm working in Flash MX/Dreamweaver MX Mac and viewing in
    Firefox and Safari Mac. The files can be found here:
    The web page:
    http://www.bullerinetworks.com/indexf.html
    SWF file:
    http://www.bullerinetworks.com/home-rotation.swf
    Any help is appreciated.
    Jeff

    Okay, I tried a few things. I tried increasing the stage size
    by 4 pixels. Also tried setting the publish size to that plus 4
    more pixels. Window mode: Transparent; HTML alignment: default;
    Scale: no scale; Flash alignment: left & bottom. The SWF file
    still has the green line at the bottom, but when the HTML is viewed
    in the browser, or the SWF file is inserted into the web page, the
    bottom is cropped off. I'm stumped. Any other suggestions?

  • How to rotate text

    I was told to restate my number's problem as I want to rotate text within a single cell. This is for grade book so the column label can be hidden along with other data.

    ohsster,
    I was also excited by iWorks, and I was planning to adopt it and try to wean myself from Office even before Numbers was announced. I figured I'd just use the Tables within Pages to do my spreadsheet functions, since all the same calculations are available there. After a month of working in iWork, it's obvious that it would be premature to un-install Office for Mac, but I'm still determined to make the switch and I believe that Apple will address the serious issues, like the speed problem, in short order. So, I'm still excited about being closer to shaking the Microsoft dependency.
    Regarding your application, I don't know how large and complicated your design is, but I encourage you to try my suggestion just to get a feel for working with references that span sheets and tables. This, to me, is much easier in Numbers than in Excel. I tried cross-sheet referencing in Excel years ago and found it too complicated, but in Numbers it is as simple as pie. You can build your second table in the same sheet as your first table if you want to keep things close together for that phase, and then just drag the new table to a new sheet when you're done with it. To make a cell in the destination table mirror the entry in the source table, simply type an = sign in the destination cell and then click on the source cell. To replicate the reference in the first destination cell across the first row, highlight that cell and drag the fill handle across the row. Then, with the filled row highlighted, drag the fill handle down the sheet to populate as many rows as you need. This whole process takes only a few seconds. Now you have a copy of the source table that can be independently formatted, labeled and printed after you move it to it's own sheet. This is the Numbers equivalent of setting a Print Area in Excel, except on steroids.
    I hope you don't give up!
    Jerry

  • Cannot rotate text in table cell

    I am using LiveCycle Designer 8. I want to rotate the text in the top row of a table so that the text is displayed vertically. I have created a simple 3 column, 2 row table. I select one of the cells in the top row (I click in the cell and the cell borders are highlighted). When I go to the "Layout" tab the "Rotate to 90", "Rotate to 180" and "Rotate to 270" buttons are "active" (meaning they are not greyed out and when I click on them, they move just as you would expect a button to move). The problem is that the cell does not rotate when I click on any of those three buttons. It's as if Designer simply ignores my click.
    Since I am relatively new to Designer, my first question is: am I going about this correctly? If not, how do I rotate text vertically in a table? If I am doing it correctly, what can I do to fix this problem?
    Thanks.

    Tim, you're not doing anything wrong.  That was a bug in Designer 8 that has since been fixed.  <br /><br />To get around your problem, try manually adding rotate="90" to that particular cell in the XMLSource.<br /><br />So you would have something like:<br /><draw w="30mm" h="22.2238mm" name="Cell1" rotate="90"><br /><br />Steve<br />Adobe Systems

  • Aligning rotated text away from spine

    I am creating a directory which rotated text towards the edge of the page. This is so that people can thumb through it and quickly get to their section of interest. When I insert a page, the edge becomes spine. I need the text box to automatically turn 180 and move towards the edge. Is this possible?

    If I'm understanding you, you can cause such a frame stay away from the spine if you make it an anchored object which is anchored to the text which includes the faculty email. In Object > Anchored Object Options, you need to choose the Relative to Spine option. I made the text of the faculty page red to see what happens when a page is added. Here's the way it's created. You can see where it's anchored because I turned on View > Extras > Show Text Threads. The frame is anchored at the beginning of a paragraph.
    After adding a page the anchored object stays away from the spine:
    However, I think you'd have to manually rotate the frame (unless it could be done with a script). The text frame is oriented in the same direction on both left and right pages.

  • Overlay Drop Down Links/Rotating Text Over Graphic/Background

    I am fairly new to DW and am currently using Dreamweaver CS4. I would like to overlay drop down links and rotating text over a graphic image/background and am curious as to how this would best be accomplished. Is each piece; background/graphic, drop down links and rotating text a different layer? Can this type of thing be created using just DW or do I need Flash or something else? Please let me know if I should provide an example on the web to illustrate what it is I am trying to do - I wasn't sure if it is permissible to post links to sites that you don't own or are affiliated with in some way.
    I don't expect to be spoon feed but getting pointed in the right direction on what to research would be a big help!

    Is each piece a different layer?
    Not necessary to put everything inside an APDiv or layer.
    The best advice I can offer is to build unstyled HTML content logically from top to bottom of page.  I know, plain HTML is ugly but that's OK.
    Then use CSS to add background images/colors, text/menu styles and alignment.  Use default CSS positioning (which is no positioning at all) and use margins, padding and floats to arrange elements where you want them.
    See sample CSS Layout: (view code to see how it's done)
    http://alt-web.com/TEMPLATES/I-page-with-floats.html
    Can this type of thing be created using just DW or do I need Flash or something else?
    If you can work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code, you can do everything you want in Dreamweaver.  Flash is certainly optional but many devices (iPhones...) don't support Flash.
    Start by learning the basics first, then DW will be much easier for you to use.

    As as per SWEL it  shows No Reciver Found enen though GET_AGENT table is maintained.
    In another system I found that WS531000044 is assigned ti CR Type Then I tested it and found that CR creates Work Items also upto final processing.
    as per below
    Before CR Submission : CR status is 02: Changes to be executed
    After CR Submission : CR status is 01:To be considered and Approved
    After CR Reviewer approves : CR status is 09: Dependant Data to be processed /Approved
    After Purchase reviewer Finalize processing :CR status is 09: Dependant Data to be processed /Approved
    After Finainace reviewer Finalixe processing :CR status is 09: Dependant Data to be processed /Approved
    Now I can not see CR any where even though CR step 04 and 04 assigned to my user ID
    I have some questions as Description in Define Change Request Steps is not Mataching with description in GET_AGENT desesion table.
    Also it is observed that step 80 is not assigned to WS531000044 in IMG node Define Change Request Steps but it can be seen in GET_AGENT decesion table and step no 06 and 07 does not appears in GET_AGENT decesion table ( In edit mode).
    Can you explain from where assignment of  CR steps to CR type in desion table are taken ino accout ?
    Why description is not matched for steps under IMG and in decesion table?
    Can you explain me releationship between CR step and step type,CR Status and where they \maintained in IMG and how proceeses modelling is diffenent t for determination of Next CR step in case of WS531000044 ?

    Please keep in mind that "hard-wired" workflow templates are just that: hard-wired. This means that a specific workflow template (for example WS53100044) will always have the same number of steps, each step will always have the same type and number, agents will always be assigned in the same way, and those can't be altered by configurations. To understand each workflow template's behavior, you can either open that template in transaction PFTC or SWDD, or alternatively, read the exact behavior in SAP Help documentation. You basically need to google the workflow template number and you should be able to find the description of each template's behavior (by the way, the number you type has an extra zero so if you can't find a match on Google, you will know why ).
    Now, the assignment of CR steps to CR type is done in the workflow template itself and NOT in the decision table. See the first screenshot:
    The step number above "should" correspond to what is in the configuration table (for readability and consistency of documentation purposes). However, if for some reason, it does not, the hard-coded value is the value that will actually be considered. So, in technical terms, the assignment of step numbers in MDGIMG has no influence on how the workflow template will behave. Again, the main purpose is for the corresponding description in the step number configuration table to show on the CR window.
    The other thing is the step type. A step type purpose is mainly to indicate what set of buttons will show at the top of the CR window. The fact that step types are represented by numbers confuse a lot of people with step numbers. I would have personally preferred if step types were a 2-char field so that a clear distinction can be made between step types and step numbers. In any case, buttons on the CR correspond to actions and you can see in MDGIMG that you can assign step types to actions. SAP delivers a pre-defined set of step types and associated actions. Those must NOT be altered because they could break the standard workflow templates. However, you can create your own custom step types and link them with as many actions (standard or custom actions) as you like. But again, you can't assign those custom step types to hard-wired workflow templates. You can only use them in your custom workflow templates or in the rule-based workflow.
    Now, the question is how does the hard-wired workflow know what step type to use. The answer is easy: you can either find that in the SAP Help documentation or in the workflow template definition in transaction SWDD. For the above screenshot, the step type is 2. You can find that if you double-click the task ID TS75707980 (or display it using transaction PFTC) and look in the "Cntainer" tab. In this case, this task will ALWAYS have type 2. Other tasks are assigned different step types or are more dynamic in the sense that they expect the step type to be passed from the main workflow template calling them. For example TS53200002 will always have type 7, TS60808005 will always have type 5, and TS60807954 accepts the step type dynamically. This last one is the one used in the rule-based workflow (hence it has to read the step type configured in the decision table).
    I hope this answers you question. You definitely need some level of workflow design/build knowledge in order to be able to completely understand all of this. Hopefully, this gives you a good starting point.
