Stop automated stats coll

Hello all,
I initiated a script in my database (_Oracle 9i_) to collect stats once in 30 mins. Below is the script i used for the same:

This has been running from over 2 weeks now, and i want to stop this job.
I tried using @ $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/spauto.sql to get the JOB NO and the stop it using exec dbms_job.remove(job no)
the output was fine, but the job has not stopped and in the alert log, i find the below message:
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 2
ORA-00001: unique constraint PERFSTAT.STATS$UNDOSTAT_PK voilated
ORA-06512: at "PERFSTAT.STATSPACK", line 2257
ORA-06512: at "PERFSTAT.STATSPACK", line 91
ORA-06512: at line 1
Please suggest how to proceed and stop this automated collection of stats.

Thank you for the response, it worked after i COMMITted the transaction.
Also there were 2 jobs running each under SYS and PERFSTAT. I had tried once to stop perfstat user's job from SYS and got that error.
Now, it is fine :)

I have the same problem. I have found that stopping the transfer then clicking Store - Turn Off iTunes Match, quitting iTunes, reopening iTunes and then Store - Turn On iTunes Match fixes the issue temporarily. When I add a new album later on, same thing all over again.

How to create services start and stop automation script for diff servers

i want to create a bat file for automation purpose to start and stop services
i have some services in 1st server aand some in 2nd server and some in 3rd servers.
has you all know i have to follow sequences to start and stop services can any help me in creating .bat by linking 3 servers fo starting and stoping services.

Stopping Automator "Run Applescript" if file not found.

Hi all,
I'm creating a folder action that, when a file is added to the folder, will search the folder to see if the file is of a certain type (by the extension) and then run an Applescript that will open the file in the appropriate program. The problem is that not all files that go into the folder are of the correct type. Is there any way to tell Automator or Applescript to stop if no file is found (essentially "input" should be empty)?

Thank you for a helpful answer. I recently wrote an Automator application that opens several web pages in tabs and checks my email. It is set to run at login. Using a modification of your code and a line I pick up elsewhere I was able to make the Automator application end when I press command+. keys.
Perhaps you can answer a different question for me. I am new to Automator but catching on quickly. I am not very good at AppleScript however. I have three automator-based workflows saved as applications. One needs to run every day and then trigger one of the other two depending upon the day or date.
The branching seems to work OK but once the appropriate workflow starts to run I get an error. I think it is -1708. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

How do you stop automated CRD package schedules!!!

I have set up automated scheduled packages to deliver themselves to selected recipients from Microsoft Outlook.
However, now that these schedules are no longer required, I u2018disabledu2019 the schedule, but it still continues to send and clog the outbox.
I have also deleted the schedule, but again it continues to send and clog the outbox.
I have realised that one of the recipients is no longer with the business hence it if failing upon processing the email with that particular email ad
Is there any way I can stop this happening!!! As it is clogging up the outbox as well as crashing outlook every day and preventing other shcdeules to send out!!! pls help!

I use BOE XI R2, so I'm not 100% sure this would apply to you, but there is a "LaunchPad" web page at <install dir>/WebTools/adminlaunch/default.aspx where you can launch all of the admin apps...

Itunes stopped working - states not installed correctly please reinstall itunes. I have done this 3 times now and still no joy. Gives Error 7 (windows error998) - any suggestions?

How do I stop Automator from reordering photos when renaming them?

I'm attempting to use Automator to rename picture files. I select "Make Sequential" and put the name in that I want. However, once everything is completed my pictures are not in the same order they were out of the camera. I like how my camera imports the photos in the order that I took them. Now when I look through my pictures my vacation is completely out of chronological order. How do can I set Automator so that this does not happen in the future?

How to stop automated Black & White RAW to colour?

When I import black and white RAW photos from my LX3 into Aperture it 'processes' them into washed out colour versions!

The RAW file isn't actually B&W - the camera has just 'tagged' it as B&W and will display it as such or create a B&W JPEG if set to do so. Aperture doesn't understand these tags, so just displays the RAW file with no processing.
What I do with my LX3 is when I take a B&W, I get the camera to also write a small JPEG. The JPEG will be B&W and on import, I set the JPEG as the master. If I like the B&W that I see in Aperture, I then make the RAW the master, create a new version from the master, and set about making the new version look like the JPEG version.

10.6.2 stop automator

right after 10.6.2 installed,
all the automator shortcuts in the keyboard system preference went missing.
even creating a new service from automator also doesn't work anymore.
I can open automator just fine, but the service or workflow I created just doesn't work anymore.

Make sure you update to 10.6.3, make sure you are pointing clients to the correct URL (for Snow Leopard Server, you can't just point people to http://machinename.domain.com:8088 - there's different specific URL's for Tiger, Leopard, and Snow Leopard). Manually run the swupd_syncd command, and see what errors/issues show up in the log, and if your server has actually downloaded the updates and is just not presenting them in the catalog/not serving them.

How to stop automated linkification of "@ string " to twitter? (solved, please close)

My firefox autmatically linkifies "@<string>" to twitter with a layered Twitter popup. This is called Twitter Anywhere.
However, my site does not use any Twitter Anywhere javascript, but still it calls the Twitter website when I reload my page. I disabled all plugins, but still this happens. Is this a virus? It's extremely anoying. How can I stop this?

You can get the job name in SM37. Else goto the manage tab of the ODS, click on the 'matchstick' button at the bottom and then another window will pop up. At the bottom of the window you'll get the job name BI_ODSA.....Take that job name and paste it in the SM37 screen.
In SM66 you'll not get the job name. For you to know what process the job is connected with, you'll have to goto SM37 and once you execute with the job name in the selection screen(also make sure that the date range is also correct as it defaults to current day and also the correct user name).Double click on the job name and then hit job details once the window opens up. In there you'll find a field called id which you can see in the SM66 screen called as PID. You want to cancel the process with that id.

Applescript .app stopping Automator workflow

Hi. I'm still a novice at Applescript, but getting better with Automator, and trying to combine the two to get the result I need, and I'm almost there except this one little glitch:
I've got an Automator workflow that involves an Applescript application (.app) which for some unknown reason halts the rest of the workflow despite it seemingly working right. The Applescript does little more than quit a specific application, which it does. But when I run the workflow from Automator I get the error: "Connection is Invalid"
Any help here would be greatly appreciated - is there something I should do differently with the script? Or should I handle this differently in Automator?

Here's what I do:
I compile our application code in Flash Builder, including the RIATest and Flex automation SWCs. Here are the compiler flags:

Everything compiles fine. So, I launch RIATest, then run my automated test against the freshly compiled application. My test automatically launches our application in a browser.
The automated tests proceed normally, but after a while, a dialog/alert/message appears in our application stating, "License not present. With the trial version only limited replays are allowed." I'm using only legitimate, legal, valid licenses for Flash Builder, RIATest, and Windows. I'm not using the trial or limited version of anything. According to the folks at Cogitek, and from what I've found by searching, it is an error thrown by Flash/Flex; not by RIATest.
This problem is preventing me from doing my job.

Why has my MacBook Pro stopped saving state to disk when battery runs out?

In the past, when my battery was running low, I could carry on working safe in the knowledge that the system state would be saved just before the power completely failed. When power was restored, the saved state was restored and I could carry on.
Now it seems to just die and then I'm left to the mercy of any app-based autosave.
What's changed?!!

Doubt your cpu needs any thermal grease... Upgraded my MBP (early 2010) to ML when it first came out, prior to this everything was working flawlessly and I mean one couldn't ask for anything more... After the upgrade it was total garbage with big time overheating, program crashes and a problem where it refused to come out of a deep sleep without a forced shutdown. One thing I never really looked into was how it affected the battery life but one can only assume it took a toll on it as well.
Needles to say I downgraded back to the originally installed OS X ASAP, thankfully we regained our original stability and sanity to boot with no ill affects on the battery. Have read countless posts about these problems and as of yet have not found a resolve to my issues, too gun shy after the experience to even think of giving it another whirl... Lost confident's in Apples ability to get it right as this was downright deplorable in my opinion.
Sorry if this wasn't much help but from reading your post you say "after upgrading" which sounds to me like all was fine prior to switching to ML, no point in tearing apart anything if that is not need.

How to stop automative events in my calendar on IPhone5

Could someone help me with this please. My son borrowed my MacBook Pro and now I am getting automatic events added to my Iphone5 calendar for every new European football fixture. I'm not sure how to disable this but would appreciate some advice.

It sounds like you are getting new eventst that are being created on your computer to your phone becuase they both have the same Apple ID signed in. If you want you can hide that calendar so it doesn't show the new events by tapping Calendars at the bottom of the calendar screen:

If that is a calendar you use, or you just don't want to hide it, your son can create a calendar for him to use on your computer, and you can hide that one on your phone when it syncs:
Add a calendar
Choose File > New Calendar, then choose an account for the calendar.
Name the calendar and press Return.
