Stopping a page from using Page Zero

I have an Apex application (v 4.2) which uses a page zero, and one level navigation tabs. Is there any way to create a new page which still uses the navigation tabs, but doesn't inherit page zero?
Or can I create a 'different' page zero and have some pages inherit that instead?

What exactly are you trying to do? What do you mean by "one level navigation tabs"? Standard tabs are rendered by the page template, not by a region.
To suppress a page zero ("global page" in new terminology) region, use a Current Language is not contained within Expression 1 condition on the global page region, and create a region with a different definition in that display position on the new page.

No, APEX currently only permits one global page for each user interface type defined for the application.

How do I copy a page from one Pages document to another using Pages 5.0?

I posted this question on another page, and haven't recieved an answer to it yet. However I have found a temporary solution, so I am posting this here in case anyone else has a similar problem.
The issue here is that I have just upgraded from Snow Leopard to Maverick (10.9.1), and my Pages also upgraded (to 5.0.1), altering my Pages documents. This is the issue, as as far as I can see the new Pages does not offer some of the basic needs that the old Pages did! In other words it is worse than the previous version.
Using the upgraded new Pages 5.0.1 seems to result in some major editing problems for me. If you upgrade, make sure you KEEP the old version of Pages 09 (v 4.3). That is what has saved me! If you have the same problems I have had - explained below, you will still be able to close the new version and open your Pages document in the old version, provided it is not a new Pages document. If it is, it will be possible to export it as a Pages 09 document and edit properly.
After upgrading to the new Pages 5.0.1, when I open documents in Pages and try and copy a section from one document to another (easy before using the thumbnails) many of the Menu items previously available are visible but appear faded and are not possible, including Insert>Section Break/Page Break/Page Number and Edit>Cut/Copy/Delete/Undo/Redo
This even happens if I duplicate the Pages document and try and do any of these from the Duplicate (which should be an easily editable copy).
My solution has been to simply open all Pages documents that Iwant to edit (or may want to edit in future) in the old Pages app (v 4.3), which I never got rid of. That has meant I can continue editing and copying a section (of 1 or more pages) from one Pages document to another.
If anyone reading this has figured out a way to edit Pages documents using the new version 5.0.1 please post an explanation, and I will try it!

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5, after Exporting your files to Pages '09, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Yes, we do this by extending controller, but you can also try this without extending controller.
1. Create Submit Button on TableRN using personalization.
2. Set "Destination URI" property to like below
OA.jsp?page=/<yourname>/oracle/apps/ak/employee/webui/EmpDetailsPG&employeeNumber={@EmployeeId}&employeeName={@EmployeeName}&retainAM=Y&addBreadCrumb=Y
Give your custom page path instead of EmpDetailsPG.
EmployeeId and EmployeeName are VO attributes(Table Region)
If you dont have desired attribute in VO, then write logic in your custom page controller to get required value using parameters passed from URL path.
In this case, only personalization will do our job. Hope it helps.

Through Portal it is not possible to copy a page from one page group to another .
There is a feature in Portal WebDav .
Through a DAV client you can copy page to your local system as a folder and then drag the page to the pagegroup you want to copy .

How to drag sections/pages from separate Pages document into current document using Pages 5

I want to clarify whether or not Pages 5 allows users to drag individual pages and/or sections from separate Pages documents into the user's current working document. This feature was available in Pages 4 but seems to have been eliminated in the upgraded version.

You can take this to be the answer for most things Pages 5…

Use Pages '09 instead.

It never worked that way in Pages '09. You have to copy and paste the Thumbnails.
That no longer works in Pages 5. Sounds like you are not copying and pasting content because that certainly works. Read what VikingOS wrote and do precisely what he said.

Emailing individual Pages from a Pages doc?

I am mebership secretary of an organisation. Next month I have to send individual invoices to over 100 members. to create personalised invoces, I set up the invoice in Pages and then used Numbers to merge individual members' names, addresses, etc into this document.
Last year I was working on a PC and with Word and Excel and there was an option to email individual pages from the Word doc. It was easy and quick to send out all the invoices.
However, in Pages, it only offers merge to a new document or to the printer. Even if there was a was a way of being able to quickly separate each page (ie individual invoice) from the one Pages doc, I could individually send the emails, but it looks as if separating the pages will be long and laborious.
It has to be easy and straightforward - ie not using Apple script (if at all possible), as whoever takes over this role from me - and who may not be so computer savvy, will need to be able to do this job easily.
Grateful for any suggestions.

Go ahead and Print the Pages document to PDF > Open in Preview.
Make sure that you are viewing the thumbnails in the Sidebar.
1. Click on a page thumbnail in the Sidebar of the PDF document, visually confirm the content, Command-C to Copy.
2. File > New From Clipboard
3. File > Mail Document.
Repeat steps 1-3 for each page you wish to mail.

Is it possible to open E-Business suite OAF page from ADF ??
Our requirement as follows:
In ADF page have the Order Number as hyper-link, if user click on hyper-link we have to pass Order_Id and open OAF page of Order Management in E-Business Suite. This OAF Page has has the corresponding Order Line for given Order_Id.
If this is possible, how authentication/security works between ADF and OAF. Is the user which as logged into ADF will authenticate in OAF Page also ? How it works ??

Using personalization, from a custom page, I am trying to open a standard Iexpense page using the following inthe Destincation URI in messagestyledtext as
OA.jsp?OAFunc=OIEMAINPAGE&startFrom=ActiveSubmitted&ReportHeaderId=380705855&OIERefreshAM=Y
The original page has OA.jsp?OAFunc=OIEMAINPAGE&startFrom=ActiveSubmitted&ReportHeaderId={!ReportHeaderId}&OIERefreshAM=Y in the message styled text
But when click on this from the custom page, the page opens with tabbed regions above and then gives error as below. Please let me know how to resovle this issue.
Profiles 1) FND_VALIDATION_LEVEL and 2) FND_FUNCTION_VALIDATION_LEVEL are already set to None.
Error is:
Page Security cannot be asserted. The page has either expired or has been tampered. Please contact your System Administrator for help.

Have u added your called function to the current user? That means by navigating to the responsibility you can access the same page directly, with out doing any transaction? If so then create your custom function with your required URL and attach to a menu ; then check if you are able to view that page from the menu navigation?If these thing is not working then I think you need to create a custom page that will extend the std region , that time hopefully it will work.

Moving Pages from one Page Group to Another Group

Hello,
How do you move pages, styles, or items from one page group to another page group?
On the same machine, I have three page groups called Production, Acceptance, and Test. Once I set up a page that I like on the page group Test, what is the best way to move the page(and its items, portlets,etc) to the page group Acceptance, and then move it into Production?
Also, how does security and approvals affect this? There is only limited amount of people that are able to get into the Test Page Group, or Acceptance Page Group. Would any copying process make sure the page approvers be copied across correctly? Or will manual intervention be needed.
I'm using Oracle Portal Release 2 (9.0.2) running on a solaris machine.

As far as i know, the pages can only be moved within the page group but not from one page group to another page group.

Copying page from one page group to another

I need to copy one page or multiple from one page group DEV to page group TEST. I thought of using Portal Export/Import feature for the same, but it will ask for same page group at import.
Requirement is to keep one set of page group for DEV stage, when it got completed move it to TEST page group in same instance.
How we can achieve this functionality using single portal instance?

I did not understand this and isn't working for me. :(
The message I receive when I click on the Copy link on the Navigator is:
Click "Copy Here" next to the page under which you want to create a copy of your page. Click the link next to the page group to create the copy under the root page of the page group. You can create a copy of a page only under a page in the same page group as the original page.
And it only displays the current page group with a tree structure of all the pages in the current page group (page group name being the root).
Please help me on this as I have a similar requirement and am using 10.1.2 version of Oracle Portal.

Could it be Dreamweaver itself? I noticed there has been an update lately with Dreamweaver to my computer...some new Live option has been added. I use the online subscription to Dreamweaver. This is happening on all my pages with the images on all my sites, only shows up with the gray box if I make a change to a page. If I don't make a change to a page the page appear fine and in working order. I'm confused and frustrated. Any other options you may know of or suggest? Thank you so much for your time.
