Store an array containing CLLocation values, in NSUserDefaults

Hi,
Am working with location based application and need to store an array containing cllocation values, in userdefaults , have tried using :
NSUserDefaults *defaults = [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults];
[defaults setObject:yourArray forKey:@"clArray"];
[defaults synchronize];
but it gives following error :
[NSUserDefaults setObject:forKey:]: Attempt to insert non-property value '( "<MapLocationVO: 0x169440>" )' of class '__NSArrayI'

from NSUserDefaults Class Reference:
+The value parameter can be only property list objects: NSData, NSString, NSNumber, NSDate, NSArray, or NSDictionary. For NSArray and NSDictionary objects, their contents must be property list objects. See “What is a Property List?” in Property List Programming Guide.+
The only way is to archive the array into an NSData-Object and store that data-object.
NSData *data = [NSKeyedArchiver archivedDataWithRootObject:yourArray];
[[NSUserDefaults sharedUserDefaults] setObject:data forKey:@"arrayKey"];

Array of doubles filled by DLL contains weird values

I am working on a DLL invocation which needs to resize and fill an array of doubles named 'values' (2nd to last parameter). I have defined the signature as follows:

In the invocation I read doubles from a database, and resize the double array as follows:

I set the size, and copy the values:

When I use the DbgPrintF to validate the values it gives me a value around 120000 which is correct. However, when returned by labview the array contains strange data, like 5.38564E-315. Here is print out of the 'values' array after it has been through the DLL:
Here is how I wired it, ignore the clustering, it occurs in the array of values which exits the DLL call.
I have no idea how this can be. I followed the examples on the site. I also tried the normal DSSetHandleSize, but it didn't change anything. Any idea what I did wrong?

You're right, this not directly described...
First you should read how LabVIEW stores data in memory,
then read about structure packing pragma,
and finally take a look to C/C++ preprocessor reference,
then you will get feeling how to solve this problem...
Otherwise own DLLs used in LabVIEW code pretty rarely, and Double precision also not very often...
The same trouble you may get with clusters, but here behaviour described:
"...The memory layout of a cluster depends on the platform you are running. LabVIEW may add padding between cluster elements so that those elements are aligned to certain address boundaries. Address boundaries relate to the concept of natural alignment. A piece of data is aligned on its natural boundary if the address at which it begins is a multiple of the size of the data. For example, a 4-byte integer is aligned naturally if it begins at an address which is a multiple of four. Most compilers have an upper limit on this boundary at which the restriction is relaxed. For instance, an 8-byte integer may be aligned on a 4-byte boundary. For the platforms on which LabVIEW runs, the alignment constraints are as follows:
(Windows) Data is aligned only to 1-byte boundaries.
(Mac OS and Linux) Data is aligned naturally up to 4-byte boundaries.
(VxWorks PowerPC) Data is aligned naturally up to 8-byte boundaries.

How to create an array containing shared variable values

Hi
I am trying to programmatically create an array containing shared variable values and their names. I can get the variable names by supplying the process name to the get shared variable list function. How do I then read the value of all the shared variable items returned?
I have used a data socket open to open a connection to all variables when my program starts. I then use datasocket read on the opened connections to write to an array. This works fine until I try to write to one of the variables using a shared variable node. The variables writes can take from 4secs to 2 mins. When I remove the shared variable node again all is fine. Also when I stop using the data sockets, all is fine.
Is there a conflict between shared variable nodes and data socket writes to the shared variables?
Can anyone help? I cannot easily post example code because I am reading the variables from a Wago PFC (PLC) using OPC.

Sorry I forgot to mention the LabVIEW version, its 8.20. I have tried saving the shared variable node as a sub VI and it makes no difference.
Attached is a stripped down version of the software. You will not be able to connect to the IO server because it requires some Wago hardware and software. You may spot something I have done wrong with the I/O servers, variables or sub VI's.
The main program that runs is called 'HMI Engine' in the 'Framework' folder. There may be some other things in the project that aren't used in this example. I have removed all but the variable connection part of the code.

Container element value late update in ECC6

Hi All,
I have a problem with container element "RECEIVED" which has incomplete value. I'm using function SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER (simple container) in my custom object ZBUS2081 method priceapproval. When 2nd person want to approve the workitem, the container value of element name "RECEIVED" only has previous approval person instead of table that has 2 line values (previous person who has already approved and 2nd person who want to approve this workitem).
We have upgrade our SAP version from 4.7 into ECC6/ERP6, which in 4.7 version this container element returned table of 2 line values.
Since the container element value has late to update the value, then it did not recognise as a final approval at the end of workflow step and raise an error for agent determination. If there is any related SAP note, please let me know.

            Your RECEIVED container stores approver details.
            Please check the binding between method container to task container to workflow container.Imperfect binding could be a reason why approver details are not populated properly.It seems your container is multiline container.Make sure the method,task and workflow containers are multiline enabled.
           Check at SWO1, whether the PRICEAPPROVAL method behaves as expected and if you are using rule for agent determination, you have to check the rule at PFAC as well as binding details.Also check at workflow log.

Container Variable value not reflected in Alert message

Hi All,
In BPM, i am trying to set an Alert message which will send the message in alert Inbox. Here i have stored a value from the message in a container variable. This Container variable value is used in the Alert message in the form of &variable&. But whenever i specify container variable value, it is not reflected in the Long text of Alert Inbox. In Alert category i have also checked the Dynamic text. Still it is not coming.
Can u suggest what is the possible solution for this.

I was able to get the Alert Message by changing container variable from "Block " to "Process". But It was containing the value of the first message.
Actually i am having a scenario in which i am transforming a File message input into multiple messages based on its PO number using multi mapping. These messages are send as IDOCs using Parrallel for Each block, where i store the PO number in the container variable and use it in alert message. So for that i have to use this block name as container and not as a Process.
Can anybody tell me why this Container Variable value is not reflected in the alert message.

Transfering elements to new array and doubling values.

Hi my problem is that I need to ask a user to enter 5 integers that stores them in an array. Transfer them to a new array by doubling the values when trasferred.
Please help I have 3 errors.

Using an array to assign values to 36 radio buttons

Okay, here's another doozy for y'all.
As some of you know, I'm trying to create a character creation program for D&D. When we roll ability scores, we roll 3 sets of 6 rolls, rolling 4 six-sided dice, rerolling 1s and dropping the lowest number, then add the highest 3 rolled numbers together.
Great! Got that part done!
The next thing I'm having some issues with is transferring those numbers to radio button text property. What I have done is created a form that has the rolled values in listboxes so the user can see what was rolled. They can only choose one "set"
of rolls, so each set of 6 rolls is in a separate listbox. I can get the values from the listbox to an array, but I can't figure out how to get the values from an array to the radio buttons on the next form in the program.
The next form in the program has 6 group boxes, each labeled with a different ability score name (ie: Strength, Dexterity, etc.). Also in each group box are 6 radio buttons. Each radio button in each group box needs to have the same values. For example,
the first listed radio button in each group box needs to have the first value listed in the list box on the previous page. The second listed radio button in each group box needs to have the second value listed in the list box, and so on. I want it
to automatically load, but I'll settle for ANY load at the moment!
The other thing is that I don't want to write 36 lines of code for each group box's radio buttons! I would like to be able to populate the values with a loop. So, the biggest question is how to create an array containing all 36 radio buttons, then assign
my list box values to them according to their position in the multidimensional array.
Here is a tidbit so you'll have an idea what I'm looking at.
list box 1 has values 17, 18, 8, 12, 15, and 13. I want the radio buttons in each group box on the second form to be 17 for the 1st radio button, 18 for the 2nd radio button, 8 for the 3rd radio button, 12 for the 4th radio button, 15 for the 5th radio
button, and 13 for the 6th radio button.
Any ideas?

are 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, and 11, then everything with _1 at the end should have “12”, everything with _2 should have “13”, and so on. What I don’t want to have to do is initialize 36 elements, then have 6 different selections for each group box. I tried to
attach an image, but it wouldn’t let me…something about verifying my account or something…

Query contains double value - seems cache problem

Hi experts,
in a Query (integrated planning) based on an Aggregationlevel based on a Multicube.
The Multicube contains an Realtime InfoProvider to store planning data and a normal InfoProvider to show actual values.
The load of actual values to the InfoProvider can be executed several times a month via ProcessChain -
it´s a full load so the data loaded before will be deleted during the month in order to save the new monthly dataload.
In the Query there were double values displayed for actual data after several loads during the month -
but in the acutal InfoProvider only a single value is stored!
It seems to be a buffer problem, since a deletion of all system buffers solves the problem - but this is not the way to handle the problem in productive area.
How can the problem be solved?
Setting of Planbufferquery of acutal data InfoProvider to not using Cache doesn't help.

Hi,
there is no data stored in acutal cube and the query column is restricted to actual cube.
And actual cube only contains the value once, but the query can display the double value.
If all buffers are reset, the query shows correct value - but this is not the way to handle the problem.
What changes need to be made?
Is there a setting in query cache or planningbuffer query cache or some other setting that can fix the problem?

How do check the whether the vector contain specific value

I store the value retrive from select statement into vector .How do I check if the value is in the vector list . The value I am checking for is from combobox identified as obj.value. Curently I using the following syntax to check whether value is in vector or not.

Store Filename in Container Operation of BPM?

Hi,
Is it possible to store filename in Container Operation of BPM step? I know that using mapping and assigning that field to Container Operation can be done.
But, is it possible to do without using payload field assignment?

That seems to be the only possible way. Bcoz the filename in the dynamic header is lost when the message enters BPM.

I am getting the follow up errors: "This field contains duplicate values. Remove all duplicate values and try the operation again."
when I tried to make the field "Claim Number" from the list in site collection library. See the screen below:
1- I selected on the "List" and I clicked on the list name
"Claim Tracking Report"
2- After I clicked on the list name then I went to the ribbon and selected list setting to choose Enforce Unique for the Field Column
"Claim Number"
3- Then I went down and selected
"Yes" to Enforced the Unique for the Field Column "Claim Number".
4- Then after I clicked "Yes" I got the error
"Sorry, something went wrong. This field contains duplicate values. Remove all duplicate values and try the operation again." But I don't have any duplicates values Items, because I had them removed before I tried
to Enforce the field column values to Unique. Can someone help or provide me a suggestions on how I can solve this issue please. Thank you
FYI: I am using a Nintex Workflow

Hope this is a list, how many total items are there?
Please try to open this list as access(link in IE) and run this query in access
SELECT Claim.[Claim Number], Count(*) AS Expr1
FROM Claim
GROUP BY Claim.[Claim Number]
HAVING (((Count(*))>1));
Hope it will show something! if this does not show you dups then better to create a separate list and migrate items after configuring unique column.

Displaying a picture from an array of pixel values

I have a picture I want to display in an AWT frame. The picture is stored as several arrays of pixel values which represent rectangles.
Each rectangle has a start co-ordinate and a height and width.
There is a ColorModel associated with the pixel values, so that's not a problem.
What's the best way to display these rectangles as pixels, and patch them all together to make the full picture? I'm currently trying to use a MemoryImageSource, but I'm having trouble displaying more than one rectangle at once, and the picture flickers like mad, suggesting MemoryImageSource intended for animation, whereas I just want to display the picture once.
Any suggestions?

OK, that looks good. I'm investigating it.
However, It's not clear how to get the pixel values from an array into it. It requires a WriteableRaster of the pixel data, and to create a WriteableRaster, you need a DataBuffer... which is Abstract!
Do you know how to make a DataBuffer from an array?

Efficiently building an array of increasing values for a graph

I need to build an array of values increasing by 3E-8. Initializing an array and changing each value in a while loop works fine, but it is terribly slow. Is there a better (faster) way of building an array of increasing values like this?

Thanks for the suggestion, it looks like that could do what I'm looking for. A kind tech solved the problem for me by phone -- I knew it was reading and writing the entire 100,000 element matrix to memory at each step, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to stop. A shift register brought the run time from over 2 minutes to under 1 second.
