Strange behavior during authentification to the application

hello everybody, I place you in the context. I made a web application for the billing department, which is in final phase of the project, to complete it I must resolve the problem of authentication. This application is deployed on tomcat 5.5.23 on Windows XP.
When I access the application, it authenticates me in a transparent way with JCIFS ntlm authentication on the Windows 2003 domain and posts the page without problem. The bug is when a second user wants to access the application, the logon box appears, then nobody cannot be authenticated except the first user who accessed the application. You see the problematic of my web application.
With a simplistic application to solve the problem, I noticed that during the authentification, an application is monopolized by the user. example: The user A can access the app1. The user B can access the app2. The user A can't access the app2 and vice versa.I think that the problem is in the file Web.xml but I don't know what to configure to solve the problem.
To finish, the technical part is here, and thanks for your assistance, that will be really appreciated.of authentication.

That should. If not, a diagnostic test may be necessary to see what else may be involved.
An Apple Store with Genius or specialist on staff may be of help for testing, also. If not

  • XAI Schema Editor Client, Error 383 during opening of the Application

    Hi,
    I have a problem with the actual XAI Schema Editor Client (V2.2.0.5 and V2.2.0.6).
    During startup of the application, after the logon screen when I've pressed connect, I got the error "Run-time error '383': 'Text' property is read-only".
    It seems that this is a VB error, mentioning that a control is in read only mode or not enabled for writing.
    After this, the application is not responding on a click of a menu entry.
    Every suggestion or help would be appreciated.

  • Cropping LR4 occasional strange behavior experienced by others?

    The LR4 cropping process has become unstable during use on several occasions.  The LR4 cropping tool seems to get confused.
    During the cropping process, unwanted changes to position and leveling of the cropped area happen upon exiting.  The cropped image one saw immediately before exiting is not what one sees afterwards. The crop has changed on its own.  During the episode, the response to the mouse is not normal.  One may drag the corner only to have it spring back upon release of the button.
    Exiting LR4 and reentering does not cure the behavior.  One must open image in Develop module,  restore crop defaults, exit, and reenter batch tool to restore normal behavior.  I am not certain as to the exact order of these steps but essentially normalcy was restored during their implementation.
    I have notice that this abnormal behavior seems more likely to occur during sessions when I am making use of the "Previous" button.
    As far as I know, the behavior is not reproducible.  It occurs during some of those late night sessions and I have not documented it well but will do so if we don’t have a cure by next time it occurs.

    Replacing the Lr preference file may help. The preference file can go "funny" and then causes all kinds of strange behavior of Lr.
    Replacing the preference file takes about 10 minutes, and you don`t need to re-install Lr.
    BTW: Un-installing and re-installing Lr does not replace the preference file.

  • Strange Behavior In IE 8

    First off I would like to say how happy I am to find an active comunity of GoLive users. I had lost my copy of GoLive during a computer change. I tried several times to make the transition to DreamWeaver and hated it with a passion. It literally sucked all the joy out of creatinyg websites for me. I have been inactive for that reason for quite sometime.
    Just recently I decided to start a new project and was thrilled when I was able to aquire a legal copy of GoLive CS2 from a coworker who had upgraded to CS5 and no longer had a use for CS2.
    So here is my problem. I just finished designing and building a small site as a corporate identity site. I am very happy with the design but when it first loads it exhibits some strange behavior. In IE8 the logo on the index page on first load comes up out of place. I have to refresh to make it come together correctly. Then the page transitions are the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Going from one page to the next produces a hidious flash. Everything looks and works fine in FireFox.
    My first thought is that it has something to do with the encoding.
    Here is the URL:

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    If the license of CS2 was used to upgrade, then your co-worker had no right to pass off CS2 or any part of it. You may not really be legal. But if you used their media to install your own license, you are fine.
    Your problems might be due to the table-based design you have used. You may do much better by moving forward with CSS and reusing images instead of pushing an entirely new set of image files with each page.
    The flicker/transitions may appear in any browser where the images are not yet cached.

  • JDEV Team: Strange behavior in TOMCAT using DATATAGS (VERY CRITICAL)

    I am encountering some strange behavior when I deploy my application to TOMCAT.
    If I run in JDeveloper (webtogo) everything works fine but the behavior changes completely in TOMCAT.
    Let me try and explain my situation here.
    I have 3 jsps :
    1.iss_listApps.jsp which is used to browse all the available records, allows the user to navigate to a specific record and edit or delete.
    2. app_edit.jsp which is used to edit/delete a specific row passed from iss_listApps.jsp.
    3. app_edit_post.jsp which is used to save the changes.
    Note that I use an anchor ">Edit</a> to pass a row from the browser page to the edit page.
    For your convenience I have listed all the source files below.
    Now here are my problems:
    Problem 1. If I run it in JDeveloper, I am able to browse the records and go to a specific record to edit and delete by clicking on the "Edit" anchor provided in the browser page.
    I can also go to the edit page and backout out of it by not saving the changes. In that case I am back in my browser page and I can again click on the "Edit" anchor to a specific record.
    However if I am in TOMCAT, I am able to browse and go to a specific record so long as I make changes to it and save it. If for any reason, I do not save a record and I go back to my browser
    page then any subsequent calls to to edit a specific record goes to the same OLD RECORD that I did not save.
    I fail to understand why? Maybe the "webtogo" server automatically refreshes when I click on the "back tab". If so, how do I automatically refresh a jsp page when I click on the "back tab" in TOMCAT.
    I would sincerely appreciate any help on this.
    Problem 2. I have an include jsp tag in my browser page. defined as
    <jsp:include page="Message.jsp" flush="true">
    <jsp:param name="colspan" value="2"/>
    </jsp:include>.
    This section of the code is currently commented out because if I uncomment it then it runs ok in JDeveloper but in Tomcat it causes the browser page to always navigate to the first record if I want to edit a specific record.
    I would sincerely appreciate any answer on this.
    Here are my source files:
    1. iss_ListApps.jsp (browser page). Please see how the anchor is formed. It causes no problems
    in JDeveloper.

    I would not expect the 'back' button to automatically refresh the page. This button basically traverses the history of pages. Since Tomcat is caching your pages, you can try to control it's interaction with the browser by:
    1. Adding cache control pragmas to the returned content so it doesn't get cached.(look at www.w3c.org at the HTTP spec)
    2. dont rely on the back button, place a link on your pages to go back to the list page.
    3. change your cache control settings in your browser to check for a new page every time a url is visited.

  • Strange behavior on pick load

    We have a strange behavior with TopLink when the load of the server increases : random errors appear in database : pimary key voilated !
    After analysis, we noted that TopLink generates a SQL INSERT in the place of SQL UPDATE. We use the method registerObject for enregister the existing object in the unitOfWork but in certain cases Toplink does not see any more that the object exists and decides to insert it.
    When we pass by again the same cases of figure after the peaks of loads, the program proceeds normally and TopLink generates SQL UPDATE.
    Thank you for your assistance, our production suffers from this problem

    Hello,
    Looks like you have the existence checking set to checkcache only and are likely using a WeakIdentityMap for your objects identity. Under load, this could potentially cause references in the cache to be garbage collected, so that subsequent existence checks won't find them.
    If the above is correct, you can increase/decrease the likelyhood of the problem occuring on a test system by tuning the JVM - removing/adding memory, tuning gc options etc. You might also want to tune each descriptor cache based on your applications usage as described at:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/doc/10131/main/_html/cachun.htm#CHEJAEBH
    In addition to setting JVM options that suit your application's usage and load, you can prevent the problem entirely by:
    1) reading existing objects through the UOW instead of registering them. This will ensure that if the object has been removed from the cache, it will be read from the database. If it hasn't been removed, it is just a cache hit. Or
    2) use the Check Cache then Database option.
    Benifits of 1 are that if you know the object is new, you don't need to go to the database, but you can always use the RegisterNewObject api as well to avoid the database hit with option 2 anyway. There are probably more ways to avoid the problem, these are just the first two I thought of.

    Chris

  • Strange behavior in deleting images - works on second but not first try

    In Library mode, Grid view, right after importing, after I select several images with an "x" to be deleted, when I bring up the "Delete Rejected Photos" dialog, I find this strange behavior. I get the message that there are not photos marked for deletion. I then invoke the dialog again, and my photos that were marked show up, with the choices of deleting from disk or removing from the catalog. What am I likely doing wrong? I'm on WinXP Pro with LR 2.2. Thanks!
    Dilip

    Dilip,
    I too have seen this behaviour in all versions of LR. Even when deleting a single image in the develop module. If LR is writting the preview you can't delete the file until the preview is rendered. I think it's more to do with the OS not allowing the deletion of a file being accessed than a LR bug as such.

  • PageCheckSeconds not working in WLS 5.1SP11. Strange behavior..

              Hello All,
              We are using Weblogic 5.1 SP11 and I am seeing a strange behavior when I use the
              JSPC pre-compiler.
              Using JSPC compiler, I get class/source files in the workingDir that have two underscores
              prepended to the file name...Eg : index.jsp is translated into __index.java and pre-compiled
              into __index.class. Now when i start the webserver and
              then access this page, it does a re-compile and then
              creates class files and source files that have one underscore prepended to the file
              name Eg : index.jsp is precompiled into index.java and index.class.
              Also, the byte sizes of the two classfiles are different...What is the reason for
              this occurence ??....I looked at index.jsp and it does not contain a <jsp:include>
              that could have potentially explained the issue...
              I have set the pageCheckSeconds in the weblogic.properties file to -1 and also we
              are using the exploded directory format....
              Could someone please explain this phenomenon with WLS ??...How do
              you let WLS know about the pre-compiled classes ???...
              By JSPC Compiler
              Name               Size          Time
              __index.java     129 kB     3.06 PM
              __index.class      34 kB          3.07 PM

  • Help with strange behavior starting a db on XP

    I have a db (9.2.0) on a W-XP machine (I am not a dba but I must handle these things because there is no dba). I dropped the instance and the db and created both again. Now I am having a strange behavior:
    When I start the windows service the database is not opened, but I need to do this if I want to connect as sysdba in order to launch the startup command. When I launch a shutdown the service is not stopped.
    I think this is not the normal behaviour because I think that, with the old db, the service used to open the db when it was started and used to close the db and instance when it was stopped.
    Some idea?

    try oradim command . e.g.
    oradim -STARTUP -SID orcl -USRPWD orclpwd -STARTTYPE srvc,inst

  • Response time is high while launching the application

    Team,
    Our application was developed long ago using Core java (JDK1.5), weblogic 9.2, EJB , JDBC and Threads. During launching of the application, it will get all the reference data (customer data) from DB by using 5 threads with the help of JDBC and EJB and weblogic server. One thread has around 30K rows and it is taking too long to load all the data into the map. Finally, the application launch time got increased.
    I have set the property "Row Prefetch Size" to 1500 in the DataSource configuration in the weblogic console. But the improvement is only 8 sec. I need to improve it more, so that my application should launch in less than a minute.
    Can any one suggest me.
    Thanks

    Hi - I have profile to some extent, in my application 2 queries were taking long time to retrieve the customet data, since the customer data is more in the tables, so i have made some changes to my application as mentioned in the above comment, and it got worked to some extent (i.e., locally when i launch my application through eclipse). But, it is not working in Production. Is setFetchSize() method dependent on the jdbc driver or anything else?Yes it depends on JDBC driver.
    Are you sure what setFetchSize(rountCount) does? if your understanding is it'll fetch only the number of rows given in the setFetchSize, then it is wrong.
    If you really want to do something like even if the table has 10K rows only fetch 1500 rows, then use setMaxRows(rowCount).

    Suggest me , if we have a profiling tool to measure.You could go for JProfiler, download the trial version.

  • Strange behavior (disappearing buttons, tabs, and more)

    Very recently (within the past 3 days and long after installing 10.4.9) Safari on my iMac G5 has been exhibiting very strange behavior.
    Some of the symptoms:
    - crashes frequently for no apparent reason
    - toolbar loses buttons and/or buttons are there but don't react to mouse clicks; sometimes a standard button, like forward, will simply disappear while backward remains
    - text in URL field will become 'bolded' and sometimes difficult to read/blurry
    - tabs often lose their dividing line boundaries
    - auto entries usually not present
    I have erased the preference list for Safari in my user library and repaired my permissions without any success.
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you very much for any help.

    Hi
    Please post a crash report - when Safari crashes, the "quit" panel has a "report" button. Select it, then copy/paste the entire contents to your reply.
    While you are at it, try the site from another User Account. If you need to create a new account, please follow these steps:
    Here is guidance from Apple on how to set up the account. You can ignore step 7 in the article.
    Also, on the system preference>Accounts panel, click on "log-in" options. There, select "fast user switching". This allows you to go back and forth between user accounts via an icon in your Menu Bar at the top of the computer screen.
    Log-on to the new account and start Safari. If Safari is stable in the new account, then your problem is specific to your regular user account. Otherwise, similar response means a system-wide problem.
    Post back with results.

  • Strange behavior of the Macbook pro display

    Hi to all
    I'm using my MacBook pro, and notice some strange behavior after open several windows or applications, I don't know how to explain, so here is a photo:
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/86155326@N00/
    I have tried: go back to 10.4.6 / create a new account / Hardware test... and Nothing.
    Any suggestions?
    Pedro

    I am having the exact same problem(and no one is replying to my post either), I read in another post of someone who had a somewhat similar issue and someone commented that it was bad VRAM and warranted the logic board to be replaced. I'm hoping this is not the case, or at least hoping the problem does not get worse because I am in school and can't be without this computer for 2 weeks while it gets repaired..I'm hoping I can last til the holidays...
    pictures of my problem:

    Sometimes I can make it go away by moving windows, and sometimes that makes it worse... this computer is only 100 days old...come on apple..help us out!

  • Strange Behavior in modifying the values in VO

    I have a VO based on EO from a custom table. The query is something like:
    select EO.x, EO.y, (EO.x*EO.y) xy from EO
    I have displayed the values from this VO on to a table in OAF page. All the columns are messageTextInput but the third column (xy) is read-only. I have written a fireAction to execute when x or y values are changed to update the xy value accordingly.
    Code in CO:
    if ("ValueChange".equals(pageContext.getParameter(EVENT_PARAM)))
    OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
    am.invokeMethod("UpdateXY");
    pageContext.forwardImmediately(<Same Page>, null,
    OAWebBeanConstants.KEEP_MENU_CONTEXT,
    null, null, true,
    OAWebBeanConstants.ADD_BREAD_CRUMB_NO);
    Code in AM:
    public void UpdateXY()
    xxVOImpl vo = getxxVO1();
    Row r = vo.first();
    while (vo.hasNext())
    r = vo.next();
    Object X = r.getAttribute("X");
    String X_string = X.toString();
    float X_value = Float.parseFloat(X_string);
    Object Y = r.getAttribute("Y");
    String Y_string = Y.toString();
    float Y_value = Float.parseFloat(Y_string);
    Float XY = new Float(X_value*Y_value);
    r.setAttribute("XY",(Object)XY);
    The problem is as follows. During the first time I try to update a value, the control goes through the logic and returns to the page but the XY value is not updated. But if i change a second value and tab out, the codes works and displays both the updated values of XY. From then on, the code is working fine.
    I'm also not updating the first row and so I didnt perform any logic in AM for the first row.
    Please help me out in finding out the reason for this strange behavior.

    This nature is fine, basically initially your EO x and y columns are null and unless you do a commit, these values don't go in db. The third column will take x and Y coumns values from db and multiply and will get null.
    To solve this issue, you get the values from VO columns x and y in PPR and and put x*y in the third column of Vo, IN THAT ROW.or you can directly get hold of the bean which hold the value of x*y and use setValue after getting x*y.

  • How to let the user know the application is still running during SQLite reads

    I'm using an SQLite database to read and write to my application. In some places it has to do very large reads and writes and the application comes to a standstill for like 10 seconds while this is happening. I've tried calling showBusyCursor(), but it only works if I call that function and then set a timer to execute the sql query. But the busy cursor also freezes once the connection starts.
    Why doesn't the showBusyCursor work during this time? Are there any other things I can do to the application to ensure the user that it is not frozen and just processing?

    Keep in mind that I haven't actually implemented this yet, but my path is headed right in that direction in the next few days. From wh
    at I have read you can access the database in two modes: synchronous and asynchronous. From your description it sounds like you are accessing the database in synchronous mode, which will stop the application thread until the database thread is completed.
    To get around that limitation you will want to run your database accesses in asynchronous mode, so that the application will continue running while the database is being accessed. What you do then is implement a listener on the database that will call a function that will hide the waiting cursor or image. Then you start the waiting indicator in the application. Once the database is done, it will trigger your listener and remove the waiting indicator, allowing the user to once again interact with your app.
    Hope this helps!
