Strange next_page parameter behaviour after updating to jdeveloper 10.1.3.2

Hi,
A while back I created a multipage portlet which links to pages using links with the next_page parameter. Until recently I had used the value for next_page as htdocs/portletname/first.jsp, htdocs/portletname/second.jsp, etc. This worked fine.
Now this week after redeploying an old multipage portlet built (same code, same environment) with the newer version of jdeveloper (10.1.3.2) these links with next_page stopped working. After investigation for a while I noticed that I now had to add an / to the beginning of the next_page parameter. So now the parameters values have to be like /htdocs/portletname/first.jsp, /htdocs/portletname/second.jsp, etc to work.
Could someone explain what is the cause for this behaviour?

I did some more experimenting and I think the problem is somewhere in skins.
I downloaded "mycompany" and "limerone" skin from WebCenter page.
Now the problem appears only if I use mycompany or limerone skin and only with firefox2.0.
In JDeveloper visual editor after deleting oracle-desktop-10_1_3_X_0-en-ie-6-windows-s.css problem is solved and also with IE I have no problem. Also no problem if I use "oracle" skin with firefox2.0.
please try it (new skins + FF) and you will see...

Strange behaviour after update to 10.4.7

Soon after updating to 10.4.7 (via Software Update) my MacBooks seems to be defective.
After updating to 10.4.7 I heard the "whining" for the very first time on my MacBook. It cames from the area of the power supply connector. But that's not my main problem.
The next morning after the update, my MacBook seems to be dead. I switched my MacBook on, the start up sound was coming, but the screen remains white and shows no Apple logo. After 30 seconds a lot of vertical lines occurs on the screen. Nothing more happens.
After I checked some possible sources, e.g. the memory modules, I found out that reseting the PRAM seems to fix my problem: The MacBook was booting and working w/o any failures. Unfortunately, only temporarily.
As I restarted the MacBook after some time, the same problem occurs
Any ideas before I bring in the MacBook to service?

combination of all previous updates and security
updates. I think it's a misguided belief people have
that the Delta may be missing certain essential
files. Based on that theory you shouldn't use
Software Update at all for any updates.
AppleTalker, normally I'd agree with you on this (never had any problem using Software Update), but in the case of 10.4.7 it looks like Apple actually forgot some files in the Delta (i.e.Software Update) they originally posted:

More on the Intel re-release and build numbers We previously noted that Apple re-released the Mac OS X 10.4.7 updater for Intel-based Macs due to the omission of some files related to OpenGL performance.
According to Apple, the omission only affected the delta (smaller, version-to-version) update, with the combo updater apparently carrying the OpenGL-related files all along. In other words, if you initially applied the combo updater, you do not need to download any additional files.

Strange sleeping behaviour after update to 10.8.5

I've updated my iMac to 10.8.5, and now when I put it to sleep, turning off my bluetooth trackpad or keyboard wakes it up again.
It's set not to wake for Network events in System Preferences, and I can't see anything else to try.
Anyone have any ideas please?

Incorrect date or time displayed in various applications

Weird conky behaviour after update.

Yesterday I -Syu'ed and it updated a lot of thing due to openssl rebuild. Now, conky behaves weirdly. I cannot monitor network up/down speed, gmail and weather scripts don't work either. What's even more strange is that there are no errors. It just doesn't work!

After update N95 8gb i got big problems.

I make a backup of all but not the 8gb-memory, and restured all after upate, and everyting seems to work fine.
First problem; i see now i have no 3g 3 (no connection) competely dead, i can not use the phone to communicate.
Strange everything work fine after update yesterday and this morning, something happen when it was in the locker at work.
And now i can't use Maploader, it say i have no memorycard, i understand that problem, i delete the whole Cities-folder this morning, because i dont need Nokia GPS-program Wayfinder anymoore, i choose Nav4all instead, i try the maploader only to for testing, i don't want to download any maps.
I test maploader now only bacause my phone is completely dead in communication, try to find out why.
I check in Nokia Nseries PC Suit everything on PC & mobil are the latest update.
I have another mobile SE M600i with 3g 3-cashcard, i by that cashcard only to enable the phone to start, not for communication, that mobile have full 3g (and probably work fine).
Was it the thing that i delete the Cities-map, no it can't be, because i use the N95 8gb and it work fine after that.
after work i even have a missed call on that mobile, but i can't call back, it's dead in communication now.
Strange things happens now.

Is your phone in another language? You should normally see 2 or 3 options.

Maybe you could try reseting the phone if nothing else works.

We are currently working with Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3.0, and are having the following problem with adf:calendar:
We have created both entity and view objects from Tables and perform a regular query, with starttime, endtime and timezone binding variables so as to construct a calendar.
As for the calendar construction, we have had no problems and with one person navigating the view, everything works ok.
But when two persons navigate at the same time and click on the calendar toolbar to navigate to the next week for example, we get the following exception.

When inserting the CalendarDisplayChangeListener, we have noticed that the exception is launched before entering.
So we then created our own ExceptionHandler to capture the exception, and avoid the PPR error popup that isnt very user friendly.
We can capture the exception, but then the navigator notifies that the page must be refreshed and data posted back. When this is done, we lose the navigation page, and the final user has to renavigate to the wanted date.
Our impression is that ADF tries to clear whatever information is in the calendar, and the go to the next date iteration, but this fails obviously. Sometimes this shows as a PPR error message, and other times a "<div" tag without closing the tag.
When trying to change the view from scrollable to any other type, it does not allow it since it says that the view is forward only.
RENDER_RESPONSE 6 phase
When the error is launched, it is in between the before and after phase of Render_response 6.
Any suggestions?
I have searched many blogs/forums, but havent found any solutions that correct this.

Strange fonts after updating os-x

after updating to os 10.4.9. safari shows strange fonts (looks like outtaspace) on some websites. not on all websites. also apples mail is displaying these strange things in the adress lines. choosing different fonts (f.e.helvetica) in safaris preferences doesnt helped. any tips to resolve this spacy letters ???

The two fonts that seem to adversely affect Safari are Helvetica Fractions and Times Phonetic.
Open Font Book in your Applications folder. Enter either of these names in the spotlight panel. If either appears, disable it via the Edit menu. If neither is in your system, please provide a screenshot of the font type.
If the above referenced fonts applies to your situation, download a copy of Font Finagler. This will allow you to clean the Font cache.
When done, restart the computer/Safari.

[Solved] Strange font problem - after update.

Update:
Tried reinstalling, change the fonts, remove all font clear the cache.
change, look up the settings, looked up size, tried monitor dpi.
checked all the config files for anything remotely related to this problem.
Had a quick look at the bug tracker for google-chrome-beta as well no reported
font problems as far as i can find.
Update2:
Tried adding custom.css to the browser not even that worked.
update3: [SOLVED]
So i solved the problem.
The problem was a faulty font that was stuck and used in the pre somehow.
Removed and added another to the list and somehow that worked.
recommendations - if anyone has this problem in the future.
open firefox and look in the font tab what is used. and remove that
or try to install a fixed one. that should work.
-Nothing has yielded any working results.
So any ideas at this point would be most appreciated.

Please ignore the strange error handling, it's just to make the example code short.
The problem is the return value (as can be seen in the output window of Visual Studio after running the program or using "echo %errorlevel%" in cmd.exe). Certainly, one would expect to get -1. However, I get 0 instead of -1. What makes this
really strange is that -1 is properly returned when the line "pIPropertyStore->GetValue..." is commented out. Why does this have any effect on the return value of the process? I have observed this on two different Window 7 machines with different
soundcard configurations. However, I did another test on a Windows 8.1 machine, where everything worked correctly.
Can anyone explain what's going on here?

OK, here's what's going on.
Everything goes fine until main() exits.
At that point, mmdevapi.dll's DllMain is called with lpReserved set to a non-NULL value, which is to say, "don't bother to clean up."
mmdevapi.dll decides to clean up anyway (for shame) and calls into some SetupAPI.dll functions.
SetupAPI.dll is waiting on a critical section, but at that point ntdll.dll kicks in and says "you know what, the process is shutting down, and this is the last thread, so I can guarantee you this critical section will never be set." ntdll.dll then
terminates the process, and main()'s exit code is lost.

Error after update : "Method 'Upgrade' does not have an implementation"

After installing the last Updates for my SharePoint Farm 2013, I ran into an issue. When I try to connect to the site, I get this error :

And there is a lot of strange behaviours within my farm. I cannot run a psconfig, the services FIMService
and FIMSynchronizationService cannot start, I can see the category "Office 365" in Central Administration but I have a SharePoint Server 2013, not online or any 365 thing... And I cannot uninstall previous SharePoint Updates...
Any idea ?

If you are using SharePoint 2013 Server edition, please re-download the
SharePoint Server 2013 SP1(KB2880552) instead of SharePoint Foundation version, then install it on the server and check results again, here is another post with similar

[Xorg] crash after updating

Hi all,
after updating arch, i've encountered a really strange issue.
Xorg doesn't want to start anymore. Or should i say, it starts but crashes within a second...
I thought it came from xfce4-svn (my current wm). But i've also tried to use fvwm and the same problem occured...
Finally, i've tried to installed blackbox and after startx command, it seemed to work........ until i tried to launch firefox within a terminal (unable to find a shortcut ), and the same crash occured... enlightenment seems to have the same behaviour (but a mouse move is enough to make the xserver crashing)
I've tried to change my xorg.conf file but it didn't solve the problem at all (so i restaured the previous)...
I then decided to re-install both xorg and xfce4-svn, but it neither worked...
Having tried all the solutions i could imagine, i post there, hoping that someone would be able to solve the problem out

How to return to record after updating (ie add a url with variable)

Regarding "Change Indicator + History Column + Refresh After Update"

Hi,
In our app, we are not using any separate column for change indicator and using LastUpdateDate as both Change Indicator and History Column(Modified On) as well.
The problem is that when 'Refresh After Update' option is not selected for this column, then RowInconsistentException is throw on commit for multi user scenario, and when 'Refresh After Update' option is selected for this column, then exception is not thrown but value is also not updated. Here is the summary of observations:
Settings for LastUpdateDate Column:
Only Setting History Column (Modified on)
Single User - Value Updated , no exception is thrown.
Multi User - throws (oracle.jbo.RowInconsistentException) JBO-25014: Another user has changed the row with primary key oracle.jbo.Key[3 ]. for second user.
History Column ( Modified on ) & Change Indicator property checked.
Single User - Value Updated , no exception

First and Second scenario are as expected.
1) Only Setting History Column (Modified on)-> Last updated value will be updated when a user changes anything in that entity. But if another user tries to update the entity on top of a stale state then lost update detection is performed by ADF by comparing every attribute of entity against current values in database. So it will give error.
2) History Column ( Modified on ) & Change Indicator property checked.
Same thing will happen as in case of first scenario but this time detection of lost update will be more efficient as framework will check only that column for "lost update" detection for which change indicator is selected.
But for the third one where you have selected the history column LastUpdatedDate as a change indicator with "Refresh On Update" selected, the behaviour is strange. I do not know why the last updated date is not updated after a commit. It does not throw any error also which it actually should. It is not detecting lost updates in this scenario. Probably because the only change indicator LastUpdatedDate is not changed.

HELP! iPod no longer works after update

I've been using my 20gb clickwheel ipod without incident for a year now, my last update had been iTunes 5 and hadn't updated my iPod recently either (why bother..it worked fine?).
I wanted to purchase music from the iTunes music store, but it wouldn't let me unless I upgraded to iTunes 6 and updated my iPod. OK - so I did that- upgraded iTunes to 6.0.1 and updated tghe iPod using the latest updated dated 2005-10-12. Then the horror begins.
On the first attempted synch post update - my iPod screen turned into a folder/exclamation point icon and stopped working. I tried resetting by holding down the center button and menu..it restarted and went back to the same folder/exclamation point icon. No luck.
I've tried restoring it repeatedly and then synching my library back to the now clean and restored iPod and it stops synching at different points and crashes (after 31 songs - crash iTunes - iPod freezes on the "Do not disconnect" screen - strange clicking noise - restore - try again - 58 songs...same... restore ..again...45 songs.. you get the picture).
It worked fine BEFORE the update except I couldn't purchase music. There has been NO change except installing the updates (it hasn't been jostled, dropped or anything). What can I do? The update killed my iPod?!!!! I am at my wits end!!!!!!

OK..I've tried many things and my iPod is still hosed after updating. I upgraded my Mac to Tiger. I was told that the there might be some issues with synching using firewire with the new update - so I bought a USB cable and tried synching with that.
I have the same issue as before. I can restore the iPod, but when I start synching my music from Itunes back to the blank, restored iPod - it synches up anywhere from 20-200 songs and then freezes (spinning beach ball on one song halfway synched for an hour - then force quit iTunes - and start all over again: restore, synch, crash).
You know, I got burned by the 1st generation 5gb iPod battery issue, then the headphone jack stopped working on my 2nd generation, now my monochrome clickwheel iPod freaks out after Apple forces me to update so I can get my paid music back (it removed, yes, REMOVED my purchased songs because I was still using an older version of iTunes - when I updated to 6 I got them back - how Microsoft is THAT?).
I am really losing my faith in Apple's ability to make a quality product.I am despondent. If anyone has any advice - I would be most grateful...

SSO (trusted authentification?) not working after update SAP BO 4.0 to SAP BO 4.1

After update SAP BO 4.0 SP05 to SAP BO 4.1 SP04 we have the problem with SSO to http://<boserver>/BOE/BI.
Our environment:
SAP BO 4.1 running on AIX 6.1, integrated Tomcat7, one server (no cluster)
In fact, tomcat is able to communicate with AD, in debug mode I see
[DEBUG] Mon Aug 04 14:57:23 CEST 2014 jcsi.kerberos: ** credentials obtained .. ** messages.
BUT after starting http://bodev.vse.sk/BOE/BI logon page to BI launchpad is comming, no SSO action.

Before update to 4.1, SSO was working without problems.
Can you help me?
How can I be sure, that tomcat is passing the correct username and using the shared secret from TrustedPrincipal.conf when logging to CMS? Is it possible to debug it?

QUERY_STRING was working fine, so I saw that trusted authentification and TrustedPrincipal.conf are OK.
I activated trace log for BI launch pad and checked what's going on during SSO logging.
After some playing with parameters and reading discussions to similar problems I came to the conclusion and finally I've solved my SSO problem. Magic word is trustedVintela.
Here is my new properties files:
