then how many String Objects are created.

For that matter, how do you make a moot do anything?A "moot" is a collection of lawyers gathered together
to discuss a hypothetical point. So how do you get a
collection of lawyers to do anything? A court order
might work.
PC�That would get them to do something, but whether it would be what you actually wanted them to do is another matter. :-)

Problem in System object - Very urgent - Pls help

I have installed Portal version SP9 on windows with MS SQL server as database . I am experencing some
issues during the system object creation for R3 . Below I will specify all the configuration I have done for
system object creation ,
1. I have selected the option Dedicated application server for R/3 system .
2. Under th eproperty category , I have selected Connector and put the following values .
Application Host - 128.1.7.2
Remote Host Type - Select -3
SAP Client - 120
SAP System ID (SID)- DV1
SAP System Number - 00
System Type - SAP_R3
Trace Mode - Select -01
3 . Then Under the property category , Web Application server ( WAS ) I have selected
the following properties .
WAS hostname - 128.1.7.2
Was Protocol - http
4 . Next step I have selected the User Management and put the below details
Logon Method - UIDPW
usermapping type - admin ,user
4. I have also created an alias and made it default
6. Then I have gone to usermapping under the user administration and created the
user mapping for the user .
But when I have tested the system object , I am getting the following error .

We have similar setup and having same userids in both R/3 (webas 6.40 based) as well as
in EP 6.0, so we are not doing any user mapping as recommended. I hope i gave all necessary
parameters under system object of categories user management with SAPLOGON, connector
properties and also WAS properties with hostname and type as http. When i try to do test
connection it is giving following error message:

Also when i try to do the testing of transaction from :
System Adm.>Support.>SAP Application>SAP transaction>
Select the system and Tcode and most important SAP GUI type = SAP GUI for Windows
i am getting connection broken error.
Let me know is there anything in specific which is missing.

Creation of a user with a particular authorization object (Very Urgent)

Hi,
There is a requirement in my project to create a user who can only reset his password. So for this I think a authorization object should be created and assign it to a profile which displays only the tab for reseting the password which is( Logon in SU01). I want to know two things in this regard.
1. The whole process of creating customised authorization object and assigning it to a profile and
2. Any other way to achieve the needed scenario.

In transaction pfcg ,
give single/composite role name
give profile name and description in authorization tab, save it
enter into change authorization data
select manually tab
give authorization objects name (creating auth. objects)
fields will automatically come inside it
enter the field values
save and generate profiles (Profiles created)
go to su01,
create users (fill address, logon data, roles )
In pfcg,
select the role you created and click on the user comparison for giving the authorization to access.

Account requires an assignment to a CO object-very urgent

Hi experts,
I have 2 questions
1.while doing transaction MI07 -post inv.differences its giving an errorr <b>Account requires an assignment to a Co object.</b>
2.while doing transactions called MIGO for a particular PLANT its not trigerring an GL account and giving an errorr as <b>Account requires an assignment to a CO object</b>
pls try to slove this issue.

While doing MI07 it requires a posting to a P&L account for the difference as it is going to be charged off, and if this GL account is a Cost element it will ask for a Assignment to CO object. You can default it in OKB9 for the Gl account based on the profit center and G.L account combination since Profit center will be obtained from the material master assignment it can be done this way.
In transaction MIGO which is for Goods receipt it posts to Fi automatically through the configuration in OBYC. If standard cost is maintained then there may be a posting to price difference account hence it will also be a cost element due t which it required an CO object. For this also you have to maintain a Co object in transaction OKB9
This will solve your problem.

Please follow below steps to handle the same:
1. Go to Transaction: SE10.
2. Create a new workbench request by using key F6.
3. Double on the newly created request
4. Add a new entry: R3TR,TABU,<table> for Program Id, Object Type and Object Name Respectively.
<table> being the table name for which the contents are to be transported.
5. Click on Function icon next to table name.
6. Click the contents from the icons in next screen.
7. Select entire table.
8. In next screen we can select required entries to be transported.
9. Come back and save.
10. Now release the request and transport to the required server.

1. As far as my understanding goes XML Parsers are used to parse
the incoming XML documents before updating the database. But
when I used the Oraxle XML class(getXML option)I found one
command line option called -useDOMDoc( Use the DOM API to
generate the XML doc). I am not clear about it's functionality.
Why it's being used to create a XML document? Or explain me
clearly about the functionality of getXML option?
2.With the help of putXML command line option I could insert one
XML document into Oracle 8i ( I could insert one table only). My
question is if I have a XML document which contains elements
from two tables( emp and detail) and tags from the same two
table too. In that case how could I insert into two tables? what
I should do?
For example my DTD has columns for two tables emp and detail.

1- The command line front end of the XSU, besides being useful
for you users, it is also a great tool for us to test the XSU.
Basically the -useDOMDoc makes the XSU use OracleXMLDocGenDOM to
generate the doc. When using the query API you can pass the
OracleXMLDocGenDom class to the getXML request and instead of a
string contining the xml document you will get back a DOM tree
(i.e. Document object).

Parsing a String object that contains the database details in jsp

In my project i have a model which is a bean that contains
a method :-
UserBean.java
....getUserData()
//the database connection is written here.
st.executeUpdate("insert ----------");
In the servlet i am calling the bean,
ControllerServlet.java
UserBean ub=new UserBean();
Object obj=ub.getUserData();
session.putValue("something",obj); //Here the obj contains all the database datas that is used in insert query
//By using RequestDispacher i am forwarding this request & the response
to the jsp page
ViewJsp.jsp
String data=(String)session.getValue("something");
//Here "data" now contains all the database contents that is stored using insert query in the bean
From here i need to parse the "data" in order to display the contents
stored in the string "data" in to a html table.
Plz. do provide a solution for this.It is very Urgent at the moment.

ok, first of all, in getData, i assume you do a SELECT, not an INSERT,
so your bean code should look like:
ResultSet rs = st.executeQuery(...) // or somethig like that
return rs; // it will contain the data you needand in the jsp you write:
ResultSet rs = (ResultSet)session.getValue("something");
instead of
String data=(String)session.getValue("something");
i assume you know how to work with a ResultSet

A very urgent deployment issue about DBAdapter

Hello All,
I have a very urgent deployment issue about DBAdapter.
That DBAdapter is connect to DB2 AS400 Database. I have a developing database (jdbc:as400://server01/TEST) and a production database (jdbc:as400://server01/PROD).
During developing, I used DBAdapter wizard to create it, and import some tables, and set the Adapter to use jabc/DB2DS as connection information for easily deployment later.
Then I deploy to Production. I configured Data-source.xml and oc4j-ra.xml rightly; I set DB connection point to production database. But the DBAdapter still write into developing Database.
I checked the DBAdapter, the imported tables are something like this, TEST.table1, TEST.table2. And there are a lot "TEST" located in DB2Writer_toplink_mapping.xml, DB2Writer.xml, TEST.schema, DB2Writer.table1.ClassDescriptor.xml.
This TEST is refrer to the TEST in connect String jdbc:as400://server01/TEST.
I think this might be the reason cause the problem. As to production database, "TEST" should replaced by "PROD". If I changed it manually, I have to change every time when switch between TEST and PROD. And I also don't know if it is safe to do it? (I tried, and bring some toplink mapping problem)
By the way, for Oracle Database, because we use 2 instances for testing and production with same schema name, and do not have this issue.

The idea is to set up all connections in the BPEL or ESB services with logical names, e.g. typically of the form eis/DB/MyFinancialSystem or eis/DB/MyLogisticsSystem. This way, you do not have to modify code when deploying it onto different environments that serve different purposes.
When moving your services through their lifecyle, on every environment you deploy these to you will have the same logical connections configured on each instance, e.g. for DEV, QA, SIT, UAT and PROD. Only, in case of QA the actual physical connection is configured to point to the QA instance of the systems that your services interact with whereas in case of UAT it points to the UAT instance of the same system.
Maybe your problem is caused by connecting as user "SomeUser" when running the DB Adapter wizard during development and actually selecting objects from a different schema than you used to connect with, e.g. "Test" in your case.

Passing parameter from Servlet to javascript in JSP. Very Urgent - 5 jukes!

Well my servlet will retrieve questions from database.
Then the player will answer the question in the JSP and submit the answer to the servlet to process.
Each time an answer is submitted, or a "Next Question" button is clicked, the countdown time will restart.
And will reload the page with a new question.
So how can i do that?

I Moving data from Cube to ODS . Let me explain abt the records in the cube .
There are 6 key figures in the cube as well as dimensions, UNIQKEY TRANSACTION is One Dimension and ARTICLE is another dimension which is having an Navigational attribute called CORE ELEMENT.
I am showing the data with those two dimension and the key figures which are to be used in the routine.

Now Lets see what the core element numbers mean,
core element 1 means -- fuel .
Core elemnet other 1 -- food .
I need to move these data into ODS Which will have an extra field called No of items in the transaction --ITEMS.For this i need to write a routine .
The Logic is ...
1.if Materail is of type 1(Means if the core element - 1)
I need to Populate the No of items in tnx = 1 .--ITEMS.
2.If Material is of type(Means if the core element)2or 3 I need to populate the billing quantity to the no of transcations.--ITEMS
3. If the Uniqkey tanscation contains two line items as suppose that you have 20 litres of fuel and 2 cans of coke, then No of Items in the transaction should be 3 and Billing Quantity in BUoM 22
billing quantity in BUoM = 20 litres for the first line item and 2 for the second line item...
then as the first line item is fuel, field No OF Items in the Transcation should be 1 (replacing the 20) + 2 = 3
so the final result in the ODS should be billing quantity in BUoM = 22 and The Items in the Transcation= 3
So the ODS Data should look like this.

While I am moving the data from cube to ods . I need to create the update rules with cube -- 8cube . WHen i am doing this the billqty is a key figure in cube so that is not a problem but the ITEMS is not there in the cube ,SO for that I need to write a routine to populate that one.
Its strange but the user what to analyse with the UNIQKEY transaction. And these objects will be added as navigational attributes to the Characteristic. as it acts as another dimension.
He wants to laod these from ODS to Master data -Characteristic.
to say for each transcation hpw many items are getting sold.

VERY URGENT!! How to Pass a "% " symbol from form to Report

Hi
I am using oracle 10g and passing a symbol "%" as a parameter to the report from a form. But it shows error as follows:
REP-52006: Failed to decode the specified URL PARAMETER1=%.
But it is working when it runs in the Report directly.
Then Why we can't pass the symbol "%" to the report from form.
Please reply me as soon as possible. IT IS VERY URGENT !!

i am working on an object where i need to post the data from legacy system to F-27 transaction using Idoc.i hv found two idocs input_idoc_fidcc1 and input_idoc_fidcc2 for posting the data..
Can anyone help in finding the right idoc for triggering the f-27 transaction with the reason...
coz both are perfoming almost the same functionalities...

Hi,
The function module is related to post the idoc type FIDCPP01
and posts the complete FI document. and as coming to second function module along with Tax you can post item wise with holding tax dataalso. So you choose the required function module based on the data you need to post. If you need not post with holding tax details dont fo for second function modules.

after your initial declaration, do this.

tab3(15) TYPE c,         "check the length you want
END OF t_line.
DATA: n_tab TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF n_line WITH HEADER LINE.
now after you fetch data into v_tab,
move it to n_tab.
using a loop at v_tab and move corresponding fields to n_tab's work area
append to n_tab.
once you have populated n_tab and are ready to TRANSFER.
OPEN your file using
open dataset <file> for output in text mode encoding default.
now
loop at n_tab.
TRANSFER n_tab to p_file.
endloop.
CLOSE DATASET.
