STS: Adjusting Notification Texts

Hello Experts,
I am trying to customize ZUPS_START_RUNDE text used in STS to notify receipients that a new planning session was started. I chose to modify SAP standard text for that, so I created modification named ZUPS_START_RUNDE_MOD1 and inserted my own text.
However, when I execute "Send start email" transaction from STS, the message/email I receive looks like this:
Generated include for enhancement - USERNAME - 12/08/2006 INCLUDE ZUPS_START_RUNDE_MOD1 OBJECT DOKU ID TX LANGUAGE E IF 'Never Display' = 'True'

HERE IT HAS SAP standard text inserted for some reason.

So for some reason it inserts an IF condition in the email and only displays standard SAP text of UPS_START_RUNDE text...it does not display my modified text that I created.
Anybody has an idea of why?

Here is what SAP recommended:
1. Apply the note 1012068 to correct the space issue in the
document.
2. Insert spaces everywhere in between text and symbols,e.g. from 'responsibility:&nodetext_receiver&' to 'responsibility: &nodetext_receiver&'
3. If you are using MS Word. MS Word Editor does not currently support all the functions in SE61. SAP suggested to activate PC-Editor via transaction I18N (note
742662)
You also can switch to Line-Editor, when you are editing the document
via menu: GoTo -> Change Editor. Personally, I like this better in this case.
4. Remove any symbols like <(>,<)> from your document;
activate the documents.
5. About MODS of the SAP delivered texts
E-mail sending application does not support modifications of SAP
delivered texts, it is a reason why you see in e-mails lines similar to

ZUPS_START_RUNDE_MOD1 OBJECT DOKU ID TX LANGUAGE E IF 'Never Display' =
'True'
SAP suggested to submit another message to address #5, which I do not have a need to right now. I decided to go with my own texts and implement steps 1-4.

if you want this as the output in ur layout, try this logic!!!!
I hope you are using same text element to display all this texts. So what I would suggest is ,put an enter button after every line- last text as displayed below:
1. During the period of your deputation hereunder, you will be employed in a management position of the Company
hit enter button so that control goes to next line. In the 2nd line u can write like below:
and shall perform such services for the Company and for any parent, subsidiary or affiliate of the Company as and when
again hit enter......and so on continue for all the lines.

PO Reject Notification - How to change notification text

Hello,
We have setup the PO reject notifiation in SRM 7.0 (event APPROVAL_PROCESS_DOC_REJECTED Sub Category APPROVAL_RESULT_NOTIFIC_NEW). The PO creator is receving the reject notifications.
How can the text being sent on the PO reject notification be changed?

Please check the program /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND...
This is the program you should have been scheduled to send offline emails..You can add your own Notification line under Standard Notification Text in this program..

Pm notifications - text box

dear pm gurus,
kindly let us know is there anyway to paste the excel sheet in pm notification text box.
or is there any standard feature available to attach the excel sheet in Notifications, other than Services for Object attachment.
I am not looking for services for object, which is i know.

yes, i know the process of using services for the object, but this is allowed for all the sap users in the system, but i would to restrict attachment userwise, is it possible, because the attachment (excel, powerpoint, drawings, etc) are requirement of some users only ie., pm user or ps user.
I would like to explore is there any system for pm users while creating notification, the excel content can be attached in notification text box. we dont have dms at present. we are ecc 5.0.
understand from project system, there is provision of attachment of excel sheets only ps userwise.
similarly is there any feature in pm side to cut/paste or attach excel sheet and this is to be only for pm users in the system.
pl correct me if i am wrong on restriction for services for object area. if this can be restricted userwise, then i don't need anything in PM side for excel sheet or anything attachment in notification.

How to adjust the text in input field

Hi Expert,
New in VC development. Can someone guide how to adjust the text in input field? Because of long text length it is not displaying fully in visual composer iView so user are not able to see the entire text in input fields

HI Kundan,
I assume that you have already tried different options perent in Label Postion for the field.
If none of these options meet your requirement then you can try the following workaround:
In the display properties, select label position as no label.
In the form view add a new UI Control for Plain Text or HTML text and change its Label to "Material Number".
Now place this new UI Control in before your actual Input field such that it appears as the field label.

Texts are created in transaction SO10
transported with program RSTXTRAN
And used in the descriptions of tasks (there's even a special button to incluide these CTRLSHIFTF5, this will create the code to include the text)

I have a similar issue.
I am doing custom prints of each event in Calendar. I pull from each event the properties I want (time, location, summary, description) and format them nicely for an 8.5" x 11" print. I want to combine this newly created document with other files already attached to the event. However, I have not been able to figure out how to reference this property (or maybe it is considered an element?).
When opening a single Calendar event with textEdit, you can see a line that starts with "ATTACH;FILENAME=", but referencing this line in applescript eludes me.
How do we reference files that are attached to events in Calendar when using applescript?

Will adjusting the window also adjust its text?

to allingn the text in smartforms you can follow different way..
1-->changing the paragraph and character format
2-->chenging the window allingment but don't prefer this if it is a preprinted form
3--> use the TEMPLATE.
using the templates u can allign the text whereever u want in window.. this is the goog feature in smartforms
i will suggerst u to create template--> withe nuber of cells u want. then for the insert texts(don't forget to give the row number and column number of the template in the output options of the text element use appropriate paragarph format.

How to adjust green text in photo?

I'm using CS4 in Windows 7. Our products have green text screenprinted on them. In the photos of some of them, the green is washed out or is yellowish. How can I adjust just the green text without affecting the rest of the photo?
They photos are in CMYK mode if that matters. Thanks.

While there is probably not a real "downside" to Replace Color, I would use the suggested Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer, with a Layer Mask for the Text. You will have much more control, and as you have used an Adjustment Layer (Save your PSD working file, WITH the Adjustment Layer), you can re-edit forever.
Now, one caveat with CMYK - that Color Mode does NOT do a good job with greens. If you are going to output CMYK, keep that in mind. You might want to add a Spot Color for your logo green, to get a better print, when doing mechanical (ink on paper) reproduction. Check that your printer can handle a Spot Color in the printing process. We often had to do this, to get even close with a green logo, in CMYK.

Line spacing feature doesn't seem to adjust my text

Hi,
I'm cutting and pasting lines of results from a Numbers spreadsheet into columns in my Aperture book. The default line spacing 1.0 is too compressed for my liking, so I'd like to stretch all the text in my columns a touch.
I highlight the text and use command-T to bring up the text panel. I can adjust the line spacing slider but not accurately enough to set all columns to the same spacing (sometimes as I drag the slider the spacing will jump from 0 to 1.4 to 3.3 to 5.8 etc, but when I try it with the next column it goes 0 to 0.8 to 2 to 3 to 4.2 etc) and they don't line up.
But if I highlight the text and enter a figure into the line spacing panel (i.e. 0.8), the new spacing amount isn't applied to the text. It's still highlighted but doesn't seem to be selected as I have to reclick it to make adjustments.
Any ideas?

I think the problem might be because I'm using text in a spreadsheet and that it's picking up formatting.
Does anyone know if there is a 'clear formatting' feature in Aperture like there is in Word or Pages?
I don't know of any "clear formatting" options in Aperture books.
As a work-around, to remove any formatting before pasting to Aperture, I paste the text into a TextEdit window and use TextEdit's command "Format > Make Plain Text". Then I copy the plain text to the Aperture Book.

You don't understand what I mean. Putting text into
absolutely positioned
containers is the source of this problem. Don't do it.

Push notification text message

Since I've updated my phone to Ios7, I am not recieving any push notifications for my text messages. I am getting the notifications for every other app, every social network, but not for my text messages. I have gone through all the steps with the notification center, everything is on and in order. Please help I don't know what else to do.

Did you try pulling up the control center and make sure that the do not disturb is off? That worked for me. Didn't know how it got turned on.

Is push notification text?

I've received push notifications from the new AP news app. Is this an SMS text message? I hope not, because I don't have a text message plan.

you shouldn't be charged for pushes...just like your not charged for a text when you get a call... even though you technically receive a message on the control channel to make it ring ... and sms messages are also sent on said control channel... and even push notifications are...
but no you wont be charged for a text when its a push.

Preview keeps adjusting my text boxes

Hi,
So i open up a PDF in preview and want to add some text so i add a text box and adust the size to fit my text. All good at this stage but then if i save it and close and then re open the text is still there in the text boxes but they have been shrunk to a smaller size and all of the text is on its side (Flipped 90 degrees right) and to fix this i have to go and re adust the size of the text boxes and its all good again until i save and re open again.
Using latest 13 inch MacBook Air with latest updates (been happening since purchase though).
Any help would be appreciated.

What happens in your Guest account, or create another user and test?
Put some .pdfs in Users/Shared for easy access.
EDIT: By the way, I just tested and I can't reproduce it on my system.

Credit Scroll - Title Effect - Cannot Adjust Border - Text Cut Off

QUESTION:
How can I insert 2 - 3 paragraphs into the credit scroll text effect, format it so the sides of it are not cut off, and prevent Final Cut Pro from reverting back to the default text that comes with the video effect?
SUMMARY:
I am trying, in vain, to copy and paste 2 - 3 paragraphs that I want to scroll across the page as if they were credits. Furthemore, I am trying to justify the whole thing to the left. The left and right edges of the paragraphs are cut off when I render the video using compressor. There is some kind of white box that holds the text. It appears to be the boundary of the text effect.The text bumps up against the boundary, but I cannot easily tell the text to give itself some space between it and the white boundary. If I double click the text effect I bring up a few difficult-to-use formatting tools. There are little white circles and triangles that appear to represent left tab, center tab, and right tab. Everything I do with these circles and triangles seems to have no impact or screws it up. To further complicate matters it seems when anytime I interact with this rudimentary formatting tool set I cause the entire text effect to default to its original form. I have to quit out of Final Cut Pro and reopen it and repeat the process by repasting the text.

I gave up and just made an image in photoshop. I then keyframed the image to scroll across as the credit scroll effect should have done.
