Stuck Receive XML PO event

Several Receive XML PO events from Send XML Document workflows are "stuck" and we're unable to get them to a completed state (there is an ECX Main Error Process child underneath; we can clear the error, but it doesn't help). The Transaction Monitor shows the POs generated from the original POXML workflow are there, but they're in an error state and we can't select the "check box" and act on them since they're greyed-out.
Any thoughts out there? Thanks!!!

Hi Vishal,
Assuming you are using R12+, you can have seperate templates used for differrent OUs. In the PO Approval workflow it shall pick the respective template.
During submission of concurrent program "PO Output for Communication", you can specify the right template in the input parameters.

  • Overflow Map has received an inexplicable event from the front map

Hello, I am posting this to ask if someone can shed additional light on this error. Is it due to incorrect usage of the SafeNamedCache or an internal error?
2006-12-07 20:33:59.190 Tangosol Coherence 3.1/339 <Warning> (thread=RMI TCP Connection(3)-127.0.0.2, member=1): Overflow Map has received an inexplicable event from the front map; such an event should not have been possible to occur. The Overflow Map will arbitrarily interpret the event in order to maintain its own internal consistency. The likely origin of the event is direct modification of the front and/or back maps managed by the Overflow Map, a MapListener making re-entrant modifications to its source map, or an ObservableMap implementation that reacts to the Map API in a manner inconsistent with the specification (e.g. actively modifying its contents in a manner that differs from the sequence of API calls made against it). This Overflow Map instance will not repeat this warning, and will attempt to silently compensate for subsequent similar event irregularities.

It is quite strange, of course, to have confusion with which config is being used, which is why there is now a log message telling you which config was loaded. I think that the log message was introduced in version 3.1 or 3.2.
The other thing that I do (at least when testing something) is specify the config on the command line, e.g.
    java -server -Xms128m -Xmx128m -Dtangosol.coherence.cacheconfig=C:\java\dev\test-cache-config.xml -cp coherence.jar;tangosol.jar;...
BTW, I have downloaded 3.2.1 and will be using that for my tests. So presumably the warning/error will no longer occur? That is our expectation, since it would be a bug (unless you were doing one of the weird things mentioned in the message).
Keep in mind that even with the message, the Overflow Map keeps going; it is just a warning (albeit a complicated sounding one) that indicates that some internal state (or event stream or lack thereof) is not what was expected as the result of one or more actions.
I apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for taking your time to clarify it. We do work hard to avoid this type of issue (or any related confusion), and we have continued to increase our unit and regression test coverage with each release, including with respect to this issue. With that in mind, please do not hesitate to contact us (on this forum if you would like) with suggestions and other feedback; we do want to be aware of the things that our customers are looking for and would like to see improved.

  • Receiving a calendar event message from a third party on a BB Z10

I have a BB Z10 on the UK Vodafone network. My Z10 is set to GMT time and correctly shows that I am in the "Dublin, London" time zone. This is the GMT time zone description that all BB devices that I have ever owned have shown.
This afternoon (UK time) i received a calendar event notification from a client who I have since established was at his desk in London when he sent the message advising me of a conference call to take place next week.
The advice on the Z10 has five clear sections: "Status", "Date", a bell symbol to indicate when the reminder will sound, and a fifth symbol indicating the number on which to call in, and the PIN code.
However, and this is my serious problem, there is a third section on the advice which has a globe symbol and appears to exist to indicate where the person setting up the event was located when he/she sent the message. In the specific case of which I write, the message states "This event is displayed in local time, but was created in Reykjavik (GMT) [sic}". The actual message shows the time for the event as one hour later than the actual time that the event is scheduled to take place - in other words GMT + 2 hours - namely the time in continental Europe and Reykjavik.
I have serious issues with this:
    1) Is it the real intention to indicate where the sender of the message was located when the message was sent?
    2) if yes, this is a serious breach of privacy
    3) if yes, the location is wrong, as the person who sent me the message has confirmed that he was at his desk in London
    4) if no what is the purpose in indicating where "the message was created" (BB's words - not mine)
    5) the indicated time of the event is wrong - it has assumed a different time zone than that in which I and the sender are located.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and what has BB got to say about it???
    Thanks
    PJCMoray
    PJCMoray

I received the e-mail notification on Microsift Outlook from a third party (i.e. not someone within my own organisation).
The same invite on both my lap-top  computer and my BB 9900 Bold did not have any mention about the sender being in Iceland (or anywhere else!) and showed the correct time and time-zone for the agreed meeting - namely, 8,30am on Friday the 19th April.
I confirm that my Z10 is set to the "Dublin, London (+0)" time zone and is currently showing the correct British Summer Time of 16.31. The device switched automatically to British Summer Time on Sunday 31st March.
    I would welcome your comments.
In every other respect (apart from the infamous Outlook USB synching issue about which I am sure you have heard more than enough!!), the Z10 is an outstanding device and deserves to be the device which at long last wipes the smile off the faces of those equine rumps in Cupertino, California!!
I am expecting the roll-out of the Q10 in the UK in a couple of weeks  - please??!!
Thanks again for your help and assistance

  • RemoteApp receives multiple KeyUp events without any keys being pressed

    Hi All,
I have a very simple winforms app that I am using to try and track down what is happening with keyboard events when using RemoteApp.
Basically I have a form and a textbox that track the KeyDown, KeyPress and KeyUp events.
As soon as I start my app via RemoteApp I receive multiple KeyUp events without even pressing a key.
Does anyone know why RemoteApp would be sending these random KeyUp events.
The code of my simple test app is as follows:
    Public Class Form1
Dim lst As New List(Of String)
    Private Sub AddtoList(str As String)
    lst.Add(str)
    End Sub
Private Sub TextBox1_KeyDown(sender As Object, e As System.Windows.Forms.KeyEventArgs) Handles TextBox1.KeyDown
    AddtoList("txt KeyDown" & vbTab & "KeyCode is " & e.KeyCode)
    End Sub
Private Sub TextBox1_KeyPress(sender As Object, e As System.Windows.Forms.KeyPressEventArgs) Handles TextBox1.KeyPress
    AddtoList("txt KeyPress" & vbTab & "KeyChar is " & e.KeyChar)
    End Sub
Private Sub TextBox1_KeyUp(sender As Object, e As System.Windows.Forms.KeyEventArgs) Handles TextBox1.KeyUp
    AddtoList("txt KeyUp" & vbTab & "KeyCode is " & e.KeyCode)
    End Sub
Private Sub Form1_FormClosing(sender As Object, e As System.Windows.Forms.FormClosingEventArgs) Handles Me.FormClosing
    AddtoList("Form Closing")
    IO.File.AppendAllLines(Application.StartupPath & "\SimpleKeyUp_v2.txt", lst)
    End Sub
Private Sub Form1_KeyDown(sender As Object, e As System.Windows.Forms.KeyEventArgs) Handles Me.KeyDown
    AddtoList("Form KeyDown" & vbTab & "KeyCode is " & e.KeyCode)
    End Sub
Private Sub Form1_KeyPress(sender As Object, e As System.Windows.Forms.KeyPressEventArgs) Handles Me.KeyPress
    AddtoList("Form KeyPress" & vbTab & "KeyChar is " & e.KeyChar)
    End Sub
Private Sub Form1_KeyUp(sender As Object, e As System.Windows.Forms.KeyEventArgs) Handles Me.KeyUp
    AddtoList("Form KeyUp" & vbTab & "KeyCode is " & e.KeyCode)
    End Sub
Private Sub Form1_Load(sender As Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load
    AddtoList("Form Load")
    End Sub
    End Class
Simply opening and closing the app via RemoteApp gives the following results:
    Form Load
    Form KeyUp KeyCode is 9
    txt KeyUp KeyCode is 9
    Form KeyUp KeyCode is 16
    txt KeyUp KeyCode is 16

  • VI containing Event Structure will not receive front panel events in LabVIEW Real-Time.

Hi again, I'm working in my first UI (attached VI).
It works when running directly from PC. It doesn't when running from cRIO, there's the message "VI containing Event Structure will not receive front panel events in LabVIEW Real-Time". I've been reading and I found that "Event structures on RT targets do not support events associated with user interface objects, such as VI panels or controls. For example, associating the Value Change event with a control does not work. RT targets support only user events".
Is that the problem? If it is, how can I create Mouse Up, Mouse Enter, Value Change (or other user interface events) user events?
If I run my VI in FPGA mode should it run?

  • How to receive XML from Flex HTTP POST

    Hi,
We curreontly have a setup where we have a FLEX frontend send an XML through a HTTP POST and awaiting a response also in XML. On the backend this is handled relatively simply by a PHP script that basically does the following:
read data (in XML)from FlEX HTTP POST into a new temp XML file.
execute a c++ program with the XML file as one of the parameter.
    return the result to FLEX
We have decided to move to BlazeDS for various reasons.
Looking at the examples bundled with BlazeDS they have a jsp example that returns an XML result to FLEX so that part is fine. I am trying to find an example of JSP (or Servlet) that is able to read the XML data from FLEX and write it into a temp XML file. I would then try to use runtime.exec to invoke a local C++ program to process the XML file the result of which will be sent back to FLEX.
Any help will be very much appreciated!

  • Receive xml as string from OSB and pass it to Bpel

I was given xml and DTD by our external partners. I need to receive this xml, parse this and insert some of the
values of the elements into DB.
    Question1:
Since I don't have WSDL, can I receive xml in string and pass it on to OSB BS which calls Bpel process?
If yes, how and can I get any example?
How do I set up osb bs service to talk to bpel?
I have installed oracle soa suite 10g with patch set 4. This runs with Oracle AS. I have my Bea weblogic 10.3 with OSB installed.
Both the servers are running seperately.

    If I use
    string to xml --- fn-bea:inlinedXML()
How do I extract a value of an element? When I log the xml that got extracted from a string, I only see the values of elements with no element names:
eg: if incoming string format of xml is:
    <Customer>
    <name>aaa</name>
    <address>bb</address>
    </Customer>
    After fn-bea:inlinedXML($body)
    I see:
    aaa
    bbb
in the log, but with no element names

  • Receive XML with Business Connector, convert to IDoc

    Hi all,
I am trying to receive XML files with SAP Business Connector (4.7) and convert them to IDOC and then forward the IDoc file to SAP System.
At the moment, I have to do the testing for this.
I don't know how to send the XML file to the special port (5555) of the server. I read that there are serveral possibilities like http, mail, ftp. Can anybody give me an advice how this works?
Next problem is to get the created IDoc file to the SAP system. The SAP server is added in the SAP Business Connector and the connection works.
I would be very pleased if anybody could help me.
    Thanks in advance!

    hi,
What i understand from your scenario is XI> BC> SAP system.
    1)XI-->BC
U need to configure XI's-BCAdapeter(as receiver).
in URL specify teh follwoing :
    http://<hostname>:5555/invoke/folder1.folder2./<service-to-be invoked>
together with the username and password.
    2) BC--> SAP
To invoke an IDoc, go to Routing rules and specify the sender, receiver, and the Message Type(IDoc name). In the next page, specify the name of the flow service to be created. and the Flowservice to be invoked whenever a message comes in.
Hope this gives you some input.

  • Error in "---- RECEIVING XML ----", WL 6.1, sp 2  for Windows

I have changed a few names and run the webservices/message example. The ConsumerClient.java
when initially started has thrown exception regarding illegal character.
The RECEIVING XML is generated by the server and, in case of ConsumerClient, all

So, is this a bug in WL 6.1, sp 2 for Windows ? The output follows:

    Hi Michael,
Thanks a lot for such detailed description. You know, I've considered this bug
until I've found out that it works OK for my case if I DO NOT change <destinationtype>
setup from "topic" to "queue". Actually, I do care about it mostly from the consistency
perspective. This a small fly in comparison to the BUG I've found next.
Currently, I am contacting BEA Support with that regard. In short words, I've
found that 1) if you build WS on the top of JMS Queue; 2) use the webservices.message.ConsumerClient
from WL examples or similar; 3) run this Client several times closing the Client
application after each run; 4) control how many consumers your JMS Queue has after
each run - you will see that the number of active consumers becomes equal the
number of your runs. That is, WS initiated by each ConsumerClient remains connected
to the destination, i.e. the Queue, even when the real client - ConsumerClient
    - is dead already. This results in multiple consumers for the same JMS Queue,
i.e. now the JMS decides which consumer would get the message from the queue,
i.e. your ConsumerClient has a chance of never getting the message and wait forever.
I believe, the WS engaged by ConsumerClient in this use-case MUST close JMS connection
by itself or on command somehow.
Hey, please tell me more about "Bavarian Hat Dance", I am not familiar with this
    dance.
    Sincerely,

    Hi Michael,
(Hey my name is Michael too!)
You are probably right that this is a bug in wsgen (not neccessarily
    WLS - wsgen
!= WLS)! I would try to remove all the output files generated by wsgen
    (i.e. ear
file, jar file for EJB, directory used to build EJB, client.jar, etc),
    first.
Be careful not to mistakenly remove the source files (i.e. build.xml,
    etc.), though.
Then I would stop WLS (if it's not already stopped), and remove the .wl_temp_do_not_delete
directory, under the applications directory of the domain (i.e. config/examples,
etc) directory you are using. Don't worry - WLS will recreate this directory
    the
next time it is started. Finally, I would make sure the build.xml had
    no "lingering
references" to the queue stuff, and re-run wsgen. Also, make sure the
    information
in the config.xml is accurate. Regardless of whether this "Bavarian Hat
    Dance"
works or not, it's probably an "eight-legger" (or "six-legger")!

My further investigation has shown that this error comes if I set destinationtype="queue"
    in <messageservice /> in wsgen task ( in build.xml ). If destinationtype="topic"
it works properly. The most confusing thing is that I have only theQueue
    configured
    in WL JMS server.
This destinationtype="queue"/"topic" issue in my test-case appearesas
    an obvious
BUG in WL Web Services, i.e. in wsgen.

The RECEIVING XML is generated by the server and, in case of ConsumerClient,
    all

  • Creating ABAP webservice to receive XML message

    Hi All,
I have a requirement to create an webservice/application in SAP ECC6 system which will receive XML message through a http request, parse the XML and update the data in some Z tables.
Does anyone have any idea how to achieve that ?
Do I need to write a BSP application/ WebDynpro for ABAP application ?
    Any input is highly appreciated.
Points will be rewarded for helpful answers.
    Thanks,
    Atanu

    Hi Atanu,
You do not need BSP/WebDynpro for this. Please go through the links below.

    Hi,
I am using weservice. When i check in Payload Trace in SOAMANAGER. I can see the proper Request and Response Payload.
However there is a deserialize_header error in CL_SOAP_MESSAGE_11 at position id 1with internal error id 14.
It says there is an unexpected element.
    Why is this error coming?
Is there some configuration that is needed to receive XML message?
