Returned to the first report and called third report and filled an internal table and came back to first report.
Is there anyway that I can get those two ITABS at a time in the first report. Because i got to compare them.
Pls suggest .. Thanks a lot!@!

Hi,
Check this example..
*Send the internal table memory from the second report.
EXPORT ITAB2 TO MEMORY ID 'REPORT2'.
*Get the values from the second report.
IMPORT ITAB2 FROM MEMORY ID 'REPORT2'.
*Send the internal table memory from the third report.
EXPORT ITAB3 TO MEMORY ID 'REPORT3'.
*Get the values from the third report.
IMPORT ITAB3 FROM MEMORY ID 'REPORT3'.
Compare the internal table.
IF ITAB2[] = ITAB3[].
ENDIF.

  • Plz help in submit statement

    Hi all
    i have a transaction MD4C which shows some missing material numbers .
    now i ill have to create a report which shows some selected part of data from MD4C.
    means if md4c is showing 16 rows i ill have to show only 5 rows based on my selection criteria.
    Please guide me how to do it .
    wat i am thinking
    can i use statement submit to execute that program and  i want to
    ask 1 thing
    like in MD4C i have an internal table in which i have all the data
    can i use submit statement to bring that internal table to my program .
    plz guide me how to do it ..
    Thanx in advance .

    Hi,
    first find and analyse the report program executing while executing the Tcode MD4C.
    you can directly call that standard report program from your z-program using below statement.
    Follow the below steps.
    Call the below FM to prepare selection table
      W_REPORTID = SY-REPID.
      CALL FUNCTION 'RS_REFRESH_FROM_SELECTOPTIONS'
        EXPORTING
          CURR_REPORT     = W_REPORTID
        TABLES
          SELECTION_TABLE = W_SEL_TAB.
      Call the standard program
    SUBMIT 'Standard program name' EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY WITH SELECTION-TABLE W_SEL_TAB  AND RETURN.
    use the below function module to get the contents from memory
    Use the function module to get the data from memory.
      CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY'
        TABLES
          LISTOBJECT = I_LIST.
    then use the below function module to convert the downloaded data
    Use the function module to convert raw data to asci format
      CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_TO_ASCI'
        TABLES
          LISTASCI           = I_INITIAL
          LISTOBJECT         = I_LIST
        EXCEPTIONS
          EMPTY_LIST         = 1
          LIST_INDEX_INVALID = 2
          OTHERS             = 3.
      IF SY-SUBRC NE '0'.                                       "#EC *
        MESSAGE E056."Unable to convert data.
      ENDIF.
    now I_INITIAL will contains the standard report data; now you can analyse this internal table and you can do the coding towards your requirement.
    Reward if useful.
    Thanks,
    Sreeram.

  • Dout in Submit statement in print program....

    Hi all,
    In my print program, after printing my forms i need to call another print program. For this im using SUBMIT statement.
    I hope my print program goes to an update task. So when it encounters a function module or submit statement it coming out of the print program.
    The same logic is working fine when i click 'PRINT PREVIEW' button in the shop papers list of IW32 Transaction. But the control comes out of the program when i go through the PRINT button in the IW32 transaction.
    Im not sure whether the control is coming out cuz of any update task.
    So please help on this. It's urgent.
    Thanks,
    karthik

    SUBMIT always starts new LUW. Not sure if I understand the rest of your "doubt"... You might want to read a bit more on the LUW concept and also check the ABAP documentation on SUBMIT.

  • How to skip the alv list when submit a report by SUBMIT statement?

    Dear Experts,
    I  have  to submit a report(RMVKON00) for a special request in my  add-on program,  I use the following statment:
    SUBMIT RMVKON00
    AND RETURN EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY.
    CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY'
      TABLES
        LISTOBJECT = ABAPLIST_TAB
      EXCEPTIONS
        NOT_FOUND  = 1
        OTHERS     = 2.
    CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_TO_ASCI'
    * EXPORTING
    *   LIST_INDEX               = -1
    *   WITH_LINE_BREAK          = ' '
      TABLES
        LISTASCI                 = LISTASCI_TAB[]
       LISTOBJECT                = ABAPLIST_TAB
    EXCEPTIONS
       EMPTY_LIST               = 1
       LIST_INDEX_INVALID       = 2
       OTHERS                   = 3
    But  it still display the alv list , and I must click  button 'BACK' ,then it return my add on program.
    I hope to skip the alv list  (does not display the alv list ) .
    Would you like to help me?
    Thanks and Best Regards,
    Colin.
    Edited by: Colin on Jan 8, 2010 10:09 AM

    Hi Colin,
    I dont think you would be able to skip the ALV output using SUBMIT. However try changing the value of sy-lsind after the submit statement.
    SUBMIT RMVKON00
    AND RETURN EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY.
    sy-lsind = sy-lsind - 1.
    If that doesnt work then try using JOB_START JOB_SUBMIT, JOB_CLOSE...
    Thanks,
    Best regards,

  • Submit statement in ABAP program

    Hi All,
          I am using two submit statements in my program for two different reports. When i run the program i get the output screens of the two reports at the ouptut. Is there any way i can hide the user seeing the output screens of the two programs and display only the output screen of my program. If you have any clues please post it.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rahul Rathi

    You can call executable programs from other ABAP programs using the following statement:
    SUBMIT <rep>|(<field>) [AND RETURN] [<options>].
    You can either specify the name of the program you want to call statically by entering the program name in the code of the calling program, or dynamically by specifying the name of a field (in parentheses) containing the name of the program. If the system cannot find the specified executable program when trying to execute the SUBMIT statement, a runtime error occurs.
    If you omit the AND RETURN addition, all data and list levels of the calling program (the entire internal session) are deleted. After the called executable program has finished, control returns to the level from which you started the calling program.
    If you use AND RETURN, the system stores the data of the calling executable program and returns to the calling after processing the called program. The system resumes executing the calling program at the statement following the call.
    The SUBMIT statement has a set of additions <options> for passing data to the called program and specifying various other processing options. Some of them are described in the following sections:
    Have a look at below link. It will help you.

    Hi Susanth,
                   Create Variant for the calling program, Give that variant( here in the below program variant for calling program that I created is VAR1) in the calling program in SUBMIT Statement.
    <b>
    CALLING PROGRAM:
    </b>
    data:
      w_variant(5) TYPE c VALUE 'VAR1'.
    SUBMIT YH625_CALLED_PROGRAM USING SELECTION-SET w_variant.
    <b>CALLING PROGRAM:</b>
    TABLES spfli.
    parameters:
          w_radio1 RADIOBUTTON GROUP g1,
          w_radio2 RADIOBUTTON GROUP g1.
    SELECT-OPTIONS s_table FOR spfli-carrid.
    WRITE '*************** This is Called program output **********************'.
    Hope this solves your problem.
    If you any query you are welcome.

  • Using a layout in SUBMIT statement

    Hi,
    I am calling a program from another program using a SUBMIT statement.  I'm also using a layout to do so.
    SUBMIT rffmepgax
             WITH s_fonds = s_fund-low
             WITH s_fictr = s_fc-low
             WITH s_hkont = c_gl
             WITH p_per_fr = s_poper-low
             WITH p_per_to = s_poper-high
             WITH p_fyr_fr = s_year-low
             WITH p_fyr_to = s_year-low
             WITH s_fipex = c_citem
    >>>         WITH p_disvar = '/ZTRAVEL'
             WITH p_maxsel = c_max
             WITH s_wrttp = c_vt1
             WITH s_wrttp = c_vt2
             WITH FREE SELECTIONS texpr
             AND RETURN
             EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY.
    The problem is that /ZTRAVEL is a public layout that anyone can change.  I can rewrite the code to use a user-specific layout, but then only I can run the program.  If anyone else tries, it stops and says the layout doesn't exist.
    Is it possible to create a public layout that cannot be changed by anyone?  What is the t-code for this?
    thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi
    USING SELECTION-SET <var>
    This addition tells the system to start the called program with the variant var
    You specify the variant in the quotes.

    Rob and I were pointing out that you have the transaction name in the SUBMIT statement in your code that you posted above, so if you are not currently using the program name in your program, make sure that you are.  Also, you may want to use the extension  "     to sap-spool without spool dynpro"  of the SUBMIT statement, the ouput will then go to the spool.  Here is an example program where I am creating a background job .
    report zrich_0004 .
    data:   sdate type sy-datum,
            stime type sy-uzeit,
            l_valid,
            ls_params like pri_params,
            l_jobcount like tbtcjob-jobcount,
            l_jobname  like tbtcjob-jobname.
    start-of-selection.
    * Get Print Parameters
      call function 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS'
           exporting
                no_dialog      = 'X'
           importing
                valid          = l_valid
                out_parameters = ls_params.
    * Open Job
      l_jobname = 'ZRICH_0005'.
      call function 'JOB_OPEN'
           exporting
                jobname  = l_jobname
           importing
                jobcount = l_jobcount.
    * Submit report to job
      submit zrich_0005
           via job     l_jobname
               number  l_jobcount
           to sap-spool without spool dynpro
               spool parameters ls_params
                  and return.
    * Kick job off 30 seconds from now.
      sdate = sy-datum.
      stime = sy-uzeit + 30.
    * Schedule and close job.
      call function 'JOB_CLOSE'
           exporting
                jobcount  = l_jobcount

  • Submit statement without executing AT SELECTION SCREEN event

    hi,
      In my report since the input data is very large iam spliiting the input data batch by batch. Iam executing the report for the first batch input data and retriving the results for it.
       Then to find the result for the enxt batch input data , iam using submit statement to execute the report again. While executing the report now it should directly start from the start-of-selection event only. It should not go for At selection screen or initialization events.
    Can anyone help me how to execute the report for second time from start-of-selection event.
    Regards,
    Phyrose.

    Is code written directly under START-OF-SELECTION or you are calling subroutine in START-OF-SELECTION?
    I would suggest you to call the subroutines written under START-OF-SELECTION.
    PERFORM form IN PROGRAM prog.

  • Dead bb curve 8520 SOS need help urgently

    hi guys
    I am experiencing several major issues
    1) my phone had been resetting itself a lot lately without reason and randomly. I then downgraded the OS from 5 to 4 then it continued to do the same so I did the removal of the vendor.xml file in the folder of my win 64 bit computer then the blackberry desktop manager, the BBSAK and the computer cannot find my phone. All it does is flash the LED several times in red and wont even restart or show some evidence of life. I have tried everything please help urgently!!!!!

    Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
    With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
    Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
    Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
    It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
    Obtain a known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
    Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
    The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem.
    Otherwise, please try this drastic method:
