I have been through all of the above, and still will not connect to Barclaycard withthe same error message as in above post. What's next, deintall firefox and reinstall? Could it be some problem with VPN software, as interestingly on my works supplied machine, neither IE or Firefox will connect to this site (but all others) when I'm outside the VPN, but when I'm inside, IE5 will connect to all sites including Barclaycrd, but not firefox....could it be a conflict between IE5 and firefox? This is driving me nuts

Hello. Since my last firefox update, I have been unable to type an email - the box within which one would usually type does not appear when I press 'reply' to a received email, or press 'compose'. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

I cannot access my voice mails. I can't get to voice mail either through the phone app nor the viooice mail app. When I try I get message the "can not complete call as dialed."t Any ideas?

Voicemails are a vital part of having a working phone. We do suggest that you look at the contact and then the number to make sure that it is *86. If you are needing to get your voicemails until then, please dial *86.

iPhoto 9.5.1 has suddenly got all blank photos. If I scroll through the photos they appear briefly and disappear. I have not updated to Yosemite - I am still running Mavericks on an iMac. I have been through the database rebuild and repair routines. I uploaded photos and movies three days ago and all was well. Then I used the migration assistant to copy from Time Machine to a new Macbook Air and noticed blank photos. I thought it was a problem with the Macbook Air, but then I went back to the iMac to check and they were all blank as well.
what does appear after the photo "flashes"?
Have you repaired permissions? If not backup your iPhoto library and option-command launch and repair permissions - then repair the database and if needed rebuild the database
If that does not do it down iPhoto Library Manager on the iMac and use the free trial's rebuild command to create a totally new library leaving the existing one alone
Once you have the iMac working correctly then connect the two systems together (or use an external drive formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) ) and drag the iPhoto library form the iMac to the pictures folder of the MBA (rather than migration assistant)

Sure, you can override the warning and press "Continue" instead.
But you said "you have been through the book many times" - have you checked the pages in Aperture's book view or have you checked the preview of the book? I'd look at least at at the "Preview" of the Book - after pressing "Continue" you will see the "Preview" button when the next panel is shown. Look carefully at the preview of the book, if any text is missing.
If you are sure that you like what you see in the preview and no empty textfields show, you can proceed to buy the book.

It is always found my webpage have been redirected to other web pages at its browser background (until I need to check the cookies so that I can be able to know where it have been redirected to at its background (hidden) after browsing websites). For example, in a simple demonstration, during the google search or going to my email account, it always goes to youtube at its background even though there has been a warning showing on the firefox page during the browse. However, the time allowed me to response is always too short, just one or 2 seconds. Even I have already clicked to stop it (not clicked "allowed" but "X"), it still was redirected.
Could you try disabling all extensions on the following page unless you know them to be both safe and essential:

Where on your profile can you change your card details, got a new card and I need to apply it to my account, I have gone into profile and there is a part on one of the headers that says you can change your payment details but when you do go into it, there's nothing, nowt, nada, not a thing.

Thanks.In a roaming network, your "main" router is the device that would require port mapping/forwarding to be configured in order to access the IP camera from the Internet. This router is also the one that would be provide the private IP address for the camera which you will want to be a static one.
So as you described your network, the IP cameras should be getting an IP address or you assigned it a static one and this is the address that you would enter in the Private IP address (or equivalent depending on the router used) field when setting up port mapping.
If you are not able to access this camera from the local network, then this should be troubleshot first. -

I sync my iphone ios 4 to another iphone ios5, sync was completed but after a few secs, the iphone with the IOS 5 firmware will auto restart and freezes at the home screen which I can't unlock. It will then freeze for a few secs before repeating the restart phase again and again and again.
To solve this issue, I have to hold the "home" + "off" button to restart the phone. Afterwhich, it will restart the phone. However, although my stuff are still on the phone, all my sms are gone.
Can someone please assist urgently.

No. It was true, but with the v3.0 software that changed - you can now sync your Exchange contacts and calendar over the air, and your Address Book and iCal via iTunes over the docking cable.
What is the best work around for this?
None needed. When you set up the exchange account, and choose to turn on syncing of contacts and calendars, you will be prompted to remove all other data, or keep it on the iPhone. Choose the keep option. Note that in that case, your personal data will not be uploaded to the Exchange server - the iPhone keeps them separate (although you can choose to view them in a merged fashion).
I have this set up on my phone (Exchange calendar along side personal and other calendars from iCal). Same for contacts. Works great. -
How does one get a varity of music i.e a playlist to work on the standard Photo App which is shipped with Ipad 2 when using a slideshow ?
if you have music in your library, when tapping on slideshow a menu appears - Turn on music option. when on a song should display below it - tapping it will take you to your library.
Photo App will give you access to all albums as set in settings\Photo
Camera - select camera roll - gives camera roll only but options for everything else
Slideshow timings is under Settings\Photo -

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

I Am trying to send my photos from my photo app. I have an iPad mini. I have done all that is required
but the email was not received/sent. What can I do?As an experiment and an alternative troubleshooting step, try sending the photo directly from the mail app and not from the photos app.
Start typing and email and then hold down anywhere in the body of the email until a black options bar pops up Select Insert Photo or Video from that options bar. A window will pop up with your photos in it. Choose any photo. Then try to send the email.
If that works, the issue could be in the photos app. Try force closing the photos app, reset the iPad like Carolyn described and the try again from the Photos App.
In order to close apps in iOS 7, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
Does anyone know how to recover contacts that have been gone missing or have been deleted somehow. The contacts that are missing are the ones where I only had phone numbers (no email address). The ones where I have both phone numbers and email addresses are ok. They are the same ones I have on my laptop. I dont know what I did to cause the ones with phone number only to disappear.

I know the importance of saving and updating your contacts. What type of phone do you have? If you are using Backup Assistant, you have the ability to sync the contacts between your laptop and phone. You will also be able to see if all your contacts are stored on the online portion of the application versus the phone itself. The contacts should be the same for both online and the phone.
