  • Regarding Important tables in SRM

    Hi Gurus,
I want some of the useful table used in SRM system.
Like if i create a shopping cart in SRM then in which table it get stored. similarly if i can get some other important table please pass it accross to me.
    Regards,

    Hi Vadim,
Thanks alot its really useful for me.
Can you please answer me for following 2 question.
    1. If i am creating a shopping cart using SRM Portal then is it possible that if i click on Order button in Portal i can go into debug mode of the EBP system to find out what BAPI or program EBP is using to create the shopping cart number, becasue shopping cart header data gets stored in CRMD_ORDERADM_H table so it means some program is working behind it.
    2. is it possible to create the shopping cart using any BAPI or RFC within the EBP system, if i pass required data to RFC.
    Thanks again.

  • Regarding Import table

    Hi Gurus,
Actually I am facing an issue. When I am trying to Import a Template table into my database it is showing at the Datastore but when I am checking it in the Database in the specified Schema it is not available. Please help me to resolve this issue.
When I am executing the JOB than it is throwing an error that invalid object name (Table_Name), Table is not found.
Please help me to resolve the issue.
    Regards,
    DJ

    Hi Deepak Joshi;
If you have problem with Schema name like if you want to use your own Schema name like BODS instead of DBO.
If you are facing the below error.
Login to your SQL Server Management Studio.
Expand Security ----> Logins ----> Select your associated Database User ----> Double Click or Right click and select Properties.
Go to User Mapping Tab. Scroll Down and Locate your Database mapped to the User. Change Default Schema as BODS.
Then you can use BODS as the Owner name in Template Table. You can import table easily.
If you browse through your DB.
I hope this will help you out

  • JDBC Lookup - Import table data from a different schema in same DB

    Hi XI Experts,
We are facing an issue while importing a Database table into the external definition in PI 7.1.
    The details are as below:
I have configured user 'A' in PI communication channel to access the database. But the table that I want to access is present in schema "B". Due to this, I am unable to view the table that I have to import in the list available.
In other words, I am trying to access a table present in a different schema in the same database. Please note that my user has been given all the required permissions to access different schema. Even then, I am unable to access the table in different schema.
Kindly provide your valuable suggestions as to how I can import table which is present in another schema but in the same Database.
    Regards,
    Subbu

If you are using PI 7.1, then you can do JDBC Lookup to import JDBC meta data (table structures from DB). Configure a jdbc receiver communication channel where you specify username and password which has permission to access schema A and Schema B of database. Specify database name in the connection string. Then you might have access to import both schema.

  • SSIS 2012 is intermittently failing with below "Invalid date format" while importing data from a source table into a Destination table with same exact schema.

We migrated Packages from SSIS 2008 to 2012. The Package is working fine in all the environments except in one of our environment.
SSIS 2012 is intermittently failing with below error while importing data from a source table into a Destination table with same exact schema.

    the specified type.".
    End Error
But when we reorder the column in "Updated" in Destination table, the package is importing data successfully.
This looks like bug to me, Any suggestion?

    Hi Mohideen,
Based on my research, the issue might be related to one of the following factors:
Memory pressure. Check there is a memory challenge when the issue occurs. In addition, if the package runs in 32-bit runtime on the specific server, use the 64-bit runtime instead.
A known issue with SQL Native Client. As a workaround, use .NET data provider instead of SNAC.
    Hope this helps.

    1) make sure context option is installed on target DB

  • Removing an empty value for a imported table shown in a slicer

    Hi,
I've imported a table and I've put the related code field in a slicer for a my pivot table. In the slicer I can see an empty box that I want to eliminate. I've tried to apply a filter for original data and powerpivot data from the powerpivot window. Moreover
I've tried to uncheck the showing elements without data, but unsuccessfully. I've tried to update the imported tables after each applied change but no results.
Any suggests to me, please? Thanks

    Hi there,
i'm facing a similar problem which i find it hard to understand.
1x fact table with 2 columns (to keep it simple):
       + col.1 - id_Division
       + col.2 - Sales_Amout
1x dimension table with the the Company Business Organization (Departments, Business Units, etc) with 3 columns:
       + col.1 - id_Division
       + col.2 - Business_Unit
       + col.3 - Business_Area
If i just load these two tables in my PowerPivot, then go to a worksheet and create a pivot table, selecting just the dimension table col.1 to the Values and col.2 to a slicer, i get the correct situation = 10x slicers corresponding to the 10x Business Units
existing in the table, as you can see in the imagem attached.
If i create a relationship between the fact table col.1  (id_Divion) with the dimension table col.1 (id_division), and then refresh the same pivot i've just created before, i get an extra empty slicer with no values in it. IS there any reason for this
    to appear?
Appreciate your kind help and inputs. IF required i can share my workbook in order to get some further help.
    Regards

  • OBIEE Error while importing table from database

    Hi
I am getting the following error when i am trying to import table from database.
    [nQSError: 16001]ODBC error state: IM004 code:0 message:
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver`s SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed.
    Any idea y such error.

Looks like an error in the ODBC driver, not OBIEE as such.
    Have you tried googling it?
Can you post details about your OS and DB.

  • Getting error while importing tables

    Hi,
I have the servers on linux box and clients are installed on my local machine. I have created on DSN for connecting Biserver.
When i'm trying to import tables i am getting an error.
I have placed tns entries in Linux box as mentioned below path.
    OBIEE/Oracle_BI1/network/admin
But even though i am not able to import table getting an error.. 'Connection fail'
    Regards,
    Mall

Since you are using client to import table is it not required in local for tnsnames.ora?
For server you have set that helps after hosting the rpd file, I hope you are not using online mode to import table if you are doing that I dont think that will work...
Try to use your connection details something like below
    Call Interface: Default (OCI 10g/11g)
    Data source Name->localhost:1521/XE
If helps mark or else let us know your basic test to connect to database like tnsping from command etc..

  • Unable to import table or columns in OBIEE 11G RPD

    Hi All,
We are unable to import table into the RPD using OCI 10G/11G to import the table then the import box open but we are unable to see the tables below the schema name. When we use ODBC 3.5 and created a DSN for the database then we are able to see all the tables and import them. But the problem here is that when we are using window server 7 64 bit to install client and then importing the table ODBC is not working fine as well.
Please note that we are using OBIEE 11G which is installed on unix box and we connect to RPD using client installed on windows server.
Appreciate all the help in advance.
    Thanks,
    Mohit

    Hi Sayak,
This means we need to installed Oracle client to resolve this problem. Can you please share if you have some knowledge regarding the same.

I'm using BusinessObjects Data Services XI 12.2.2. I am trying to import table to BW datastores QA environment but unfortunately it's failing. Can someone help me? Below is the error message that I get:
RFC CallReceive error <Function RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN: . SAP System has status 'not modifiable'. The problem may go away if you change the SAP datastore property to Execute in background(batch)>.
I already set the Execute in background(batch) to Yes but it also failed to import.
    Please advice.

    BR
    Ricardos

    Hi,
    In tables parameter use
    my_tab LIKE your_db_table_name
    or via importing/exporting/changing parameters:
    - go to se11, select Data type
    - type in new table type in Z_MY_TABLE_TYPE and Create
    - select Table type
    - Pass description and as Line type type in your DB table name
    - activate
    - pass this table type to one of FM / method parameter
    my_tab TYPE my_new_table_type.

  • Qualifier table option in import manager.

    Hi Sdners,
I want ot know what is usability of  "Set Qualified Update" option in menu bar of import manager.
How to use above mentioned option because when im trying to use it, its greyed out.
    Iam using MDM 5.5 SP04.
    Explain with below mentioned example.
    Main table:
    1)Material_number -
    > Integer
    2)Material_description -
    > Text
    3)Region -
    > LookUpQualified(multivalued).
    Qualified Table.
    1)Region -
    > Nonqualifier.
    2)Tax -
    > Nonqualifier.
    3)Price -
    > Qualifier.
Points will be rewarded for genuine answere.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Neethu Joy.

    Neethu,
Here's the scenario where you would use this option.
Suppose you are importing the main table data and qualified table data. The initial load will go fine and you will see correct data in the main table and in the qualified table. However, if you are loading the same data again (somebody made some changes and now the client wants you to re-import the data) then you should be very careful with the qualified data. By default a qualified link is set to 'Append' which means every time you import data (even the same data), import manager will create a new link in the qualified tables. To avoid this, you choose the option 'Update' instead of append. This option will allow you to update the existing links and create new ones ONLY if there is new data for them.
Now about why the option is grayed out. To enable this option you have to right click the field that links the qualified table to the main table. For example, in your example below, the field 'Region' is the link between the qualified table and the main table. Right click on this field to set the import option.
    Regards,
    T
