Supress Invalid rows after Drilldown
Hi Experts
I have a BEx query with row and column structures, where within the row structure I am using a hierarchy of (SEM-BCS) items columns are key figures. Within Analyzer, when I select from the navigation menu add drilldown according to items, I would expect that the query would expand to include only the relevant items within each row. Instead, every value of an item including zero values are added to each row thus exploding the report unnecessarily.
This occurs from both the filter and row specific right click menu.
Zero suppression is activated for the query for both rows and columns (Query properties -> Rows/Columns tab) Supress zero = Active for both rows and columns.
Zero suppress is also activated from the row and column key figure structure via Display tab u2013 Structure as Group Only apply suppress when all elements are 0. I turned this off too and tried without success.
Any ideas to correct this?

Let me just say that I wish it worked like you are expecting it to work .....
Now an explanation of my previous post:
Suppose you have a query where Rows have InfooBject A and InfoObject B. Zero suppression eliminates rows where both are blank.
Now lets us say you have Structure S in rows with two elements in the structure E1 and E2. Then you drill down by InfoObject B. In this case system treats Structure S equivalent to InfoOBject A with two values E1 and E2. This will never be blank and will never be elimnated by zero suppression. You might have defined element E1 as InfoObject B = Values V1 and V2, but the drill down by InfoOBject B will show all the values of InfoObject B, because the definition of structure element is only used to compute the value of the structure element and doesn't behave the same way as using the InfoObject. I guess this is becuase the structure element definitions can be very complex and it may not be possible to evaluate the relvancy fo drill-down rows in all conditions.

during drilldown with the usage of a free characterictic, some zero rows are shown. If a key figure has no value for all columns, we would like to supress these rows, which are show up with the drilldown characterictic.
Especially drilldowning to account number level in our reports creates a confusing long list with a hundred of zero lines.
Can someone tell me how to suppress this zero lines?

Nuranunfortunately that didn't work. I think so we need a general condition function, that we can say; when all the columns are zero then suppress this row, but with a standard condition function it seems also not possible to do this.

There's a bug in PL14. The issue is that the observer dll is not updated correctly. Try removing the SM_OBS_DLL folfer (that's on your temp folder). That should do it.

How to insert blank row After every row in Alv report
what do you mean by a 'blank row'? ALV displays tabular data with 'any' number of columns. Now if you actually want a blank row (no columns at all, just a row), then that is just not possible. If I'm not mistaken, this question was posted before, so try to do a search on SCN. See what is says.

the row of 'Total' is calculated by fieldcat-do_sum = 'X' But after the Total row we need a Ratio row to display the ratio. Yes we can calculate the total amout and ratio and then append it into the output itab, but we don't like this solution.We want to keep the total function in the ALV report.Any experts can poit me a direction. How to display a row after a subtotal field in ALV Grid

My requirement is to print a extra row with values and constant text after printing subtotal values in ALV Grid.
e.g. TOTAL 12.23 ---> Subtotal field
Tax 5.2 ---> extra row after subtotal field.

You can try using INSERT <WA> OR INSERT INITIAL LINE .
fill the wa with tax value.
INSERT <wa> into table < internal table >
A row will be inserted into internal table with the values.

How Do I get SSIS To Stop Looping Through Excel Rows After Last Populated Record?
I have a package that loops through many excel files. Each Excel File has about 5000 rows. My problem is that after the 5000th row SSIS keeps looping through all the rows after the last row. There are nothing in these rows. This is a complete bottleneck
of my package because it takes forever when doing this. How do I stop this?

Is there a way to count updated rows after an update?
Let's say I have an update like
UPDATE table_a
set field_1 = 'new_field'
WHERE field_2 ='some_value' ;
And now I would like to insert an info record into logging table like
INSERT INTO logging_tbl (step, description, changed_rows) VALUES('UPDATE', 'update of table_a', ?);
update is in sqlplus script.

Our client wants the new row to be added after current row on the front end instead of before current row.
we were using "new JUActionBinding(this,iterBinding,JUActionBinding.ACTION_CREATE_INSERT_ROW);" this code inserts the new row after current row.
I tried a lot to insert the new row after current row. Used new JUActionBinding(this,iterBinding,JUActionBinding.ACTION_LAST to move the cursor to last row in rowiterator and the used .ACTION_CREATE_INSERT_ROW but this thing inserts the new row as the second last row.
Could somebody plesae help ?

ALV - Adding an additional row after subtotal
Hi Friends,
I want to develop an ALV report wherein I want to have an additional row after the subtotal in ALV to show some calculation.
Please refer the below link for the report layout. In the ALV output after subtotaling the total operating revenue and total other income i would like to have an additional row to show the Total revenue(total operating revenue + total other income). Similarly after subtotaling the cost of sales, I would like to show the gross profit(total operating revenue - cost of sales) in an additional row. Please let me know whether this is possible in ALV Grid or List.

Oracle SOA 11g - BPEL
I am currently performing 3 separate transformations in a bpel process.
In the first transformation I extract header level information (only 1 record line) and write this to a csv file together with HEADERS.
In the second transformation I extract Detail level information (1 or more record lines) and APPEND this to the same csv file mentioned above together with HEADERS.
In the third transformation I extract Footer level information (only 1 record line) and APPEND this to the same csv file mentioned above together with HEADERS.
an example of the resulting csv file (opened in Excel)

REQUIREMENT : I NEED TO INSERT A BLANK LINE/ROW BEFORE THE DETAIL HEADER AND ANOTHER BLANK LINE/ROW AFTER THE LAST DETAIL RECORD.

This is straight forward to perform in Excel once the file is opened, but my requirement is to have the file opened in the format displayed above without Human intervention.
Is it possible to accomplish this?

If you use GROUPLEVEL_CHANGE you have to creare a form like this:
FORM GROUPLEVEL_CHANGE
