Hi Pulakit
I also have same requirement but to change the layout & found a note which explains uploading another version of xslt provided by SAP.
SAP Note 1161188 - Survey Suite:Incorrect Error messagewhen Date is inputted
I am not sure if I should upload my own version of xslt using the program provided in this note & replace original. Or I should import with diff name.
If you have done it before, please guide me.

  • Survey Repository???

    Dear all,
    In Survey Suite->Survey Repository->Parameter XML’s----->bsp
    How to create a new file(Parameter)
    Can any body tell me the content of parameter and how to set it?
    Thanks
    jayesh

    Hi Jayesh,
    You need to do the following:
    Open Parameter XML’s - bsp.
    Create an xml file with the following content. Replace the system settings (bold) by your respective CRM server settings. The xml file name should be: CRM_SVY_BSP_@<CRM system ID>_<CRM client>.XML
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
      <SurveySystemParam Action="http://<b>mrcved.ad.xxxxx.com:50100</b>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_svy_server/Survey.htm?sap-client=<b>001</b>" Method="post" Enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" AccessURL="<b>http://mrcved.ad.xxxxx.com:50100</b>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_svy_server/Survey.htm" IncludeStylesheetInOutput="true" />
    Once you have created the file, select 'bsp' in the Survey Repository and click on the "Import" link and import the above created xml file.
    Check your settings.
    Hope it helps.

  • Error in generating a new XSL Transformer from large xslt File

    Good day to all,
    Currently I am facing a problem that whenever i try generating a Transformer object from TransformerFactory, I will have a TransformerConfigurationException threw. I have did some research from the net and understand that it is due to a bug that JVM memory limit of 64kb. However is there any external package or project that has already addressed to this problem? I have checked apache but they already patch the problem in Xalan 2.7.1. However I couldn't find any release of 2.7.1
    Please help
    Regards
    RollinMao

    If you have the transformation rules in a separate XSLT file, then, you can use com.icl.saxon package to get XML files transformed. I have used this package with large XSL files and has worked well.

    Hello Esther,
    the problem seems to be that the temp folder of the target Integration Builder system can't be found:
    'The system cannot find the path specified
    at [..] FileAccess.getTempDirectory([..])'.
    You'll experience the same problem if you try a file based import or export within the Integration Builder directly.
    I would recommend to continue the search there. You could check if the environment variables (for Windows: TEMP and TMP) of the OS of the system with the target Integration Builder to an existing path. Check also if the WebAs can access this path.
    Good luck

  • Problem using Resource Bundle in XSLT File

    Hi All,
    I've been trying to use Resource Bundle on my XSLT file with no success for the last 2 weeks. So I would like some help to definitely end this problem.
    The fact is that i have a property file that i would like to read and it works fine when i use jsp or a servlet however when i try to call the same property file using my XSL i get the message below:
    java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name thoth, locale en_US
    Follow the code from my Stylesheet that i'm calling the resource bundle:
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
    xmlns:java="java.util.ResourceBundle" exclude-result-prefixes="java" version="1.0">
    <xsl:strip-space elements="*"/>
    <xsl:output method="html" indent="yes" version="4.0"/>
    <xsl:output encoding="ISO-8859-1"/>
    <xsl:template match="page">
    <html>
    <body>
    <xsl:apply-templates select="paragraph"/>
    <xsl:variable name="resources" select="java:getBundle('thoth')"/>
    <xsl:value-of select="java:getString($resources,'general.title')"/>
    </body>
    </html>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    Please someone could help me why this file cannot be located, I am 100% of sure the property file path is in my classpath since it works fine in a servlet. Should i have to put it some other place? Do i have some other way to read this file and show the information from the file?
    I would appreciate any help
    thanks in advance and Regards
    Fabio

    Please someone could help me why this file cannot be located, I am 100% of sure the property file path is in my classpath since it works fine in a servlet.
    Is the property file in your classpath? or whether the directory where the property file is residing is in your classpath. Please put only the directory where the property file is located in the classpath and try again.
    It may be working fine with the servlet because j2ee servlet containers put the classes and lib directory automatically in the classpath therefore resource bundle gets loaded even without putting it explicitly in the classpath. This doesn't happen when you try to test some component from the console.
    Let me know if this does not work.

    }

    I don't understand why you need load the XML and XLS files into a String. A Transformer can be constructed from a Source and there is a StreamSouce which can be constructed from an InputStream. The transform() method can take a Source as input and can produce a Result. There is no need to go near a String representation of either the input.

  • Should not create any output file when transform with xslt file

    I have a xslt file, which I have make code to check the order status value.
    If OrderStatus != 'Reject' --> create attribute, element for output file
    Else OrderStatus = 'Reject' --> do not create attribute/element ==> output is the empty file.
    Requirement: if OrderStatus = 'Reject' --> do not create any output file.
    how to do with this requirement?
    any help will be appreciated!

    Do you mean the xslt file always return the output file?
    I have tested this xslt file following (only xslt file, not run in BizTalk project):
    Create a blank console application using visual studio and add attached xslt file to newly created console app. Next open the XSLT file and select input file and output files and start xslt debugging to create output file.
    I want to edit the xslt file how to cannot create output file in the case OrderStatus = Reject.
    I don't say in particualr xslt file, its actually your map as a whole that returns a output message on successful execution.
    since you are testing the xslt file as individual file, you are able to control it as per need.  i mean you can write incomplete code or any kind of output elements that are not present even in schema. But when you set the map properties to use external
    xslt , map completely relies on xslt and xslt has to produce output that matches the output schema structure.
    So you better test your xslt by  setting it to your map. Once you set map properties to use xslt, you can test your map by right clicking on map and choosing test map.

  • XSLT file with process_data values

    Hi there,
    I have a process that takes in an XML file and some XSLT in another document variable and some process_data values from the main process.
    Inside this process I would like to invoke the XSLT on the XML and use the process_data values inside the XSLT. This works fantastic if I use the "template" setting for the XSLT and add some XSLT code like: <xsl:apply-templates select="{$/process_data/variableA$}.
    but if I copy the template and paste it in a xsl-file and tries to give this as input to the process I just get an "javax.xml.TransformerException: A location path was expected, but the following token was encountered: {".
    I know what the exception means, but how do I avoid this, so I can just create my XSLT (with the references to process_data) and make it work with the XSLT file as an input?
    I hope that someone has a take on this issue - as it is actually a general question on all services that can use a template...
    Thanks in advance

    That cannot be done because, your external XSLT file will not be resolved againts the XPATH expressions mentioned within it.
    Alternatively you can update the XPATH content using SetValue activity.
    Templates values are always resolved.

  • LSO 600 Configuration - Central Storage Location for XSLT Files

    Hi,
    We are implementing LSO 600 with enhancement pack 2 and I am haiving trouble figuring out what do do with the configuration steps
    Enter Address of Central Storage Location for XSLT Files
    and
    Enter Address of Central Storage Location for Templates.
    The config notes indicate that these can be a directory or network path with the format
    servername\filename\.
    As I understand it this is is the address of the file on the Portal Server where  XSLT files and templates be stored. The problem that I am hearing from the basis team is (I am qouting an email from them) "who accesses the share? Is it the server, the client PC or both? We’re running in a linux environment so I don’t have any shares the PC can access."
    Does anybody have any input?

  • Turning XML/XSLT files into a working Web Template

    I've scoured these and other forums for this small piece of information, so I apologize if it's been answered already, but I can't find it.
    I understand that the web templates in Lightroom are done in XML/XSLT, with the XML file named galleryMaker.xml and the XSLT file named transformer.xslt. However, I cannot figure out how to get these files to show up as a template in Lightroom.
    I am on a Windows XP machine, and all the templates show up in Application Data/Lightroom/Web Templates, but they are all of the type *.lrtemplate. Is there a way to convert the XML/XSLT set of files into an lrtemplate file? Or is there something else I'm supposed to do?

    Splatt42 wrote:
    I have an executable binary program (that runs just fine on it's own) that I needed to turn into a service (call it "foo"). I did so using the .xml file below, and it does indeed start up at boot, runs in the background,When you run your program (/usr/bin/foo), does it daemonize itself (kind of like running /usr/sbin/sshd), or would you have to do it yourself if run from the shell ('/usr/bin/foo &')?
    and does everything it should. I've noticed a couple of problems, though. If I execute an init 0, the system hangs and never gets to the OK prompt. If I disable my service, an init 0 completes without any problems. An init 5 works OK, as does a shutdown from the desktop. I'm not sure what could be causing this. I thought maybe because the service was restarted over and over again...?
    I gave my service a timeout value of "0", as I found that when I gave it any other value the service stopped running when the timeout expired. A seeming side effect is that my service is never listed as running, as it's start method (itself) hasn't yet completed.The manifest doesn't really want your binary as the start method. It wants to run something that starts the service, and will exit with status 0 if the startup was successful, and non-zero if the startup was unsuccessful. So you might want to write a small wrapper script (like an init.d startup script).
    Take a look at the sshd.xml manifest. It doesn't start sshd, it runs '/lib/svc/method/sshd start', which is responsible for starting sshd.

  • Using Custom XSLT File for html output file

    Hi all
    I have probably rather a silly question but I have not found a solution yet.
    I would like to use a custom XSLT file, which I already have and is working, within a Biztalk Map. The custom XSLT is generating a html file out of an xml file. However I'm not able to succeed so far because I have probably some issues in defining the correct
    target schema.
    The output that I get at the moment is just a duplicate of the input, probably because I have used the schema for source and target.
    So my question is, how do I create a html file out of an xml with a custom XSLT file?
    Sorry if this is a nooby question but I couldn't find an answer.

    Hi Jerome,
    Sorry, your question is not very clear. "I would like to use a custom XSLT file, which I already have and is working, within a BizTalk Map. The custom XSLT is generating a html file out of an xml file" -  You have an XSLT which you use for map and how
    its generating a HTML file? Are you using something like this?
    Changing an XML Response to an HTML output using a Map
    If your requirement is to output the html file from the received XML file using XSLT, then use a custom pipeline at send port like XSLT Transform Component and provide the XST which would change the XML to HTML. Here is an example of an XST which I have
    used in the past, which converts the received OrderResponse XML to nicely formatted HTML.
