Suspicious error, maybe 3.2.68 related?
This is very tentative, but wanted to relay details in case it meant anything to the BDB team:
One of the users of our crawler tried dropping in 3.2.68 as a replacement for 3.2.44, and after about one weeks' runtime hit similar, unexpected OutOfMemoryError stacks on two separate machines. A representative stack:

Of course the real cause of the memory depletion may be elsewhere, and indeed in our project's code, but that this BDB-JE operation triggered heap depletion twice was at least a little suspicious. (Might the DeadlockException message length grow to extremes in certain situations?)
Our users' original comment is viewable at http://webteam.archive.org/jira/browse/HER-1387 .
- Gordon @ IA
I've asked our user about the je.txn.dumpLocks value, as well as a couple other questions to try to narrow down what happened around the error.
It's still very possible something in our code is largely to blame, and I'd have to relay the patch to the 3rd party for testing as we haven't yet seen this here -- so a patch isn't needed, yet, but thanks for the quick offer.
I'll update with anything else I learn.

When I deploy the cube which is sitting on my PC (local) the following 4 errors come up:
Error 1 The datasource , 'AdventureWorksDW', contains an ImpersonationMode that that is not supported for processing operations. 0 0
Error 2 Errors in the high-level relational engine. A connection could not be made to the data source with the DataSourceID of 'Adventure Works DW', Name of 'AdventureWorksDW'. 0 0
Error 3 Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the dimension, with the ID of 'Customer', Name of 'Customer' was being processed. 0 0
Error 4 Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the 'Customer Alternate Key' attribute of the 'Customer' dimension from the 'Analysis Services Tutorial' database was being processed. 0 0Sorry hit the wrong button there. That is not entire solution and setting it to default would work when using a single box and not in a distributed application solution. If you are creating the analysis database manually or using the wizard then you can
set the impersonation to your heart content as long as the right permission has been set on the analysis server.
In my case I was using MS Project Server 2010 to create the database in the OLAP configuration section. The situation is that the underlying build script has been configured to use the default setting which is the SQL Service account and this account does
not have permission in Project Server I believe.
Changing the account to match the Project service account allowed for a successful build \ creation of the database. My verdict is that this is a bug in Project Server because it needs to include the option to choose impersonation when creating the Database
this way it will not use the default which led to my error in the first place. I do not think there is a one fix for all in relations to this problem it is an environment by environment issue and should be resolved as such. But the idea around fixing it is
if you are using the SQL Analysis server service account as the account creating the database and cubes then default or service account is fine. If you are using a custom account then set that custom account in the impersonation details after you have granted
it SQL analysis administrator role. You can remove that role after the DB is created and harden it by creating a role with administrative permissions.
Hope this helps. -
Hi All,
I have a cube in which i'm using the TIME DIM that i created in the warehouse. But now i wanted a new measure in the cube which is Average over time and when i wanted to created the new measure i got a message that no time dim was defined, so i created a
new time dimension in the SSAS using wizard. But when i tried to process the new time dimension i'm getting the follwoing error message
"Errors in the high-level relational engine. The data source view does not contain a definition for "SSASTIMEDIM" the table or view. The Source property may not have been set."
Can anyone please tell me why i cannot create a new measure average over the time using my time dimension? Also what am i doing wrong with the SSASTIMEDIM, that i'm getting the error.
ThanksHi PMunshi,
According to your description, you get the above error when processing the time dimension. Right?
In this scenario, since you have updated the DSV, it should have no problem on the table existence. One possibility is that table has been specified for tracking in the notifications for proactive caching, but isn't available any more for some
reason. Please change the setting in Proactive Caching into "MOLAP".

Error while collecting Custom FlatFile related InfoCubes in CTS
Hi,
I am getting the error while collecting the FlatFile related custom InfoCube that the cube is not in the version A. I did checked that the cube is in the Active version i.e. Revised Version = Active Version; Object Status = Active, executable.
Any idea how to resovle this issue ?
Here is the information on the error message.....
Object 'PPY_C101' (CUBE) of type 'InfoCube' is not available in version 'A'
Message no. RSO252
Diagnosis
You wanted to generate an object with the name 'PPY_C101' (in transport request CUBE) of type 'InfoCube' (TLOGO). This is, however, not available in the BW Repository database. It does not exist in the requested version A. If the version is 'D' then it is possible that an error arose during the delivery or installation. If the version is 'A' then the Object was either not created or not activated.
System Response
The object was not taken into account in the next stage of processing.

Connections are all valid and work when I setup the Refresh but when the schedule refresh occurs I get this error:
Errors in the high-level relational engine. The following exception occurred while the managed IDataReader interface was being used: The Data Transfer Service has encountered a fatal error when performing the data upload. The remote server returned
an error: (400) Bad Request. The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request. Transfer client has encountered a fatal error when performing the data transfer. The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request. The remote server returned an error:
(400) Bad Request.;transfer service job status is invalid Response status code does not indicate success: 400 (Bad Request).. The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.
It is trying to refresh 3 simple tables with less than 9,000 rows each.
Also, i'd like to add that the refresh works right from excel as well...
Another fact just in, it seems to work on one out of 3 tables sometimes, so first table gets a success on the log, but sometimes it fails (It succeed twice and failed once with the above error). The second table never succeeds and gets the error above.
The 3rd table never even gets attempted.
Am I running into some sort of timeout perhaps?

An unknown error occurred while discovering dynamically-related files
This is my first attempt building a wordpress site using Dreamweaver and it's been nothing but unsuccessful.
I have downloaded and reinstalled Wordpress and Mamp at least 7 times, and even followed Lynda.com (Dreamweaver and Wordpress: Core Concepts) tutorials to ensure my testing server was executed properly, but I still can't resolve "an unknown error occurred while discovering dynamically-related files. Retry". I've rebooted my computer a handful of times and made sure I ran programs in a systematic order, but nothing. I'm running CS5 on a Mac.
As you can see from the first image, I have the error highlighted in yellow. Below I've added pictures from all the essential settings site setup in hopes I made a mistake and someone will catch it. PLEASE help me resolve this issue. I am so frustrated that I can't figure this silly problem out...I looked through both articles again, and in both he notes that if you're using MAMP default ports, it's necessary to reference :8888. I am using the defaults and have included :8888 for that reason.
"Note: If you are using MAMP on Mac OS X, and decided to use the MAMP default ports, change the value of Web URL to http://localhost:8888/check_php/. Adding :8888 is necessary only if you're not using the Apache and MySQL defaults."
In any case, I've tried changing my ports to 80 and 3306, not including the :8888 in the URL, and I didn't get different results. For that reason I just returned to the MAMP default settings...
Thanks again for helping me brainstorm! -
DW/WordPress "An unknown error occurred while discovering dynamically-related files"
I am trying to set up Dreamweaver CC 2014 to work with my WordPress 4.0 site on the remote server where it is installed. Server access is fine, tests ok, files all listed and synchronize no problem. But whenever I try to discover dynamically related files I get "An unknown error occurred while discovering dynamically-related files". What's going on? (Permalinks are set to default btw)
Easily fixed! I just discovered that under my server settings I had both "Remote" and "Testing" ticked. I unticked "Remote" and it works fine. Only tick "Testing".

Runtime Error that Seems to be Related to Dialog Boxes
Although I am currently taking a college course in Java and my code is based on a couple of questions from my Java textbook, I would like to make it perfectly clear that this is NOT homework. This is self-assigned for studying purposes and my professor will probably never see this, let alone grade it. Regardless, I suspect this to be a configuration-related issue as I had no such problems running this program in a Vista machine on campus. Assuming I am right, there shouldn't be any issue with any of this community's policies as I won't need to receive any "answer" code to solve this issue.
In NetBeans, my program compiles and works fine, but produces a couple of runtime errors. Any idea what could be going on here?
Here's my code:

import javax.swing.JOptionPane; // Needed for dialog boxes.

Error while loading valid, schema-related document into xdb
Hi Mark.
I tried to load other xml documents (ftp://ftp.tigr.org/pub/data/a_thaliana/ath1/PSEUDOCHROMOSOMES/) into the xdb.
The documents are related to the same schema as the documents i used until now.
I had to change the schema a bit. Three elements (protein_sequence, cds_sequence, transcript_sequence) are now stored as CLOB instead of VARCHAR2.
My first idea was, that the new documents are not valid, but they are.
The old documents still work. I get an ORA-00600 everytime.
I tried to get some information from the trace file but this did not help really.
I don't believe this will help you but i post it anyway:

I have a second question.
Usually I use WEBDAV or FTP to load the xml documents.
There are 5 documents for TIGR Arabidopsis. Now it works to load the documents into the xdb. I usually use WEBDAV. But when I load the first document I get an error. Nevertheless the document is shredded. Because the WEBDAV error message is not meaningful, I used PL/SQL.
I tried it like this
insert into TIGR values (xmltype(bfilename(USER,'/home/pdw_tigr_chromosome/data/CHR1.R5v01212004wos.xml'),nls_charset_id('AL32UTF8')))
( I deleted the expressions " xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="tigrxml.xsd" " in the document before).
But this didn't work.
So I tried
insert into TIGR values (xmltype(xdbURIType('/home/pdw_tigr_chromosome/data/CHR1.R5v01212004wos.xml').getClob(),'tigrxml.xsd',1,1))
and it worked. But it seemed to need more time than per WEBDAV or FTP ( but probably I err ). It took 1h 48m for a 74MB file.
When I load the documents with PL/SQL the document is not shredded. At least the document has its original size when i have a look at the repository per WEBDAV and not the usual 0 bytes. But the data is correctly stored in the xmltype table TIGR

Just a wild guess
Can it be so that You included SlideShows - as I get it they can cont. 99 photos each and that this no. has some relation to Chapter handling.
May be there is some problem related to this
• max 99 Photos per SlideShow
• max 99 Chapters per DVD ?
• max 99 Menus per DVD
I would try - Rebuilding a new project and see when or what makes it to react with this Error message.

Keep getting error when trying to use =related function in PowerPivot
Greetings,
I have created a relationship between two tables based on a common field in PowerPivot, and whenever I use the =related() function to try and bring data from a field in one table to a field in another table, I keep getting and error message that says:
The column 'XXXX[xxxx]' either doesn't exist or doesn't have a relationship to any table available in the current context.
Any ideas? I've made this work before in a different dataset so I'm not sure what I'm missing. I have a feeling it might be really basic, but I'm spinning my wheels here.
Thanks very much!
MFWHi MFW,
This sounds like the table where you are trying to use the RELATED function from is on the
one side of the one-to-many relationship (i.e. the relationship arrow is pointed towards it). If in reality there is only a
one-to-one relationship between the data and you only need to bring the data from one table to the over, you can simply reverse the direction of the relationship and the RELATED function will work as expected. If this is not the case then you'll
need to use RELATEDTABLE instead of RELATED and some kind of aggregation or computation that ensures that a single value is returned for the column you are trying to get data from. There is also another function called CALCULATE which can be used for
this scenario.
Imagine that we have two simple tables: Table1 and Table2...
Table1
Column1
Column2
1
A
2
B
Table2
Column1
Column2
1
AA
2
BB
...and create a relationship where Table1 is on the many side and Table2 is on the one side i.e. Table1 -> Table2
We could use a number of methods to pull the the values from Column2 in Table1 into a new Calculated Column in Table2.
If the column we are trying to pull contains text values then we could use a combination of the CALCULATE and LASTNONBLANK function:
=CALCULATE(LASTNONBLANK(Table1[Column2], TRUE()))
If the Table1[Column2] contained only numeric or date values then we could use a combination of the RELATEDTABLE and MAXX functions:
=
MAXX(
RELATEDTABLE(Table1),
Table1[Column2]
An alternative to the DAX directly above is to use the CALCULATE and MAX functions:
CALCULATE(MAX(Table1[Column2]))
You can learn more about the functions I have referred to below:
CALCULATE
LASTNONBLANK
RELATEDTABLE
MAXX

ADT error "File [file] is not relative to directory [output]"
Has anybody come accross this error before when adding files to include to via ADT?
For example:
adt -package -target ipa-test -storetype pkcs12 -keystore my.p12 -storepass mypass
-provisioning-profile my.mobileprovision my.ipa my-app.xml
my.swf icons Default.png "../../../resources/fonts/FutuBd_.ttf"
In this case I am trying to include a file in the archive that is relative to the output directory.
My output directory is:
c:\projects\game\repo\bin\ios\
My font is in:
c:\projects\game\resources\fonts\FutuBd_.ttf
However I get the error:
File ../../../resources/fonts/FutuBd_.ttf is not relative to directory c:\projects\game\resources\fonts\FutuBd_ttf
But it actually is!
Anybody have any idea?Yeah, sorry Colin, that is indeed what happens (CD first to swf folder). That isn't the exact command line either - I cobbled it as an example. The main point is that at works absolutely fine without including external files (generates an IPA etc), but as soon as I do include files (other than icons or Default.png etc), it doesn't work anymore. Some more info:
- If the files are in the same folder as the swf, and included without a path (filename only) it works fine
- If there is a relative path that is incorrect (i.e. there is no such file), the error is different (file does not exist)
- However, if the relative path is correct (there is a file there) the error is as above
- Quotes or no quotes makes no difference (quotes are there for the 'space in file path' problem) -
IWeb generates error for each folder creation related to site & pageon .Mac
When I "publish all on .Mac", iWeb generates an error related for each Site/Page iWeb have to create as folders to .Mac.
I have to create the necessary folders manually directly to .Mac.
iMac Core duo 2 GHz Mac OS X (10.4.8)I reformulate my question

Hi,
Suddenly I got this error in SCVMM 2012-R2 Roll-up 1:
When working with User-Roles (create/update) or assigning a Cloud :
"VMM encountered a critical exception and created an exception report....
search user forums for well-known failure root causes for self-help" (how sweet)... (if it's "well known", why not coding the exception handling correctly?)
The relevant part of the report might be this:
"SCVMM Version=3.2.7620.0
SCVMM flavor=C-buddy-RTL-AMD64
Default Assembly Version=3.2.7620.0
Executable Name=vmmservice.exe
Executable Version=3.2.7510.0
Base Exception Target Site=140717670746840
Base Exception Assembly name=System.Data.dll
Base Exception Method Name=System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.OnError
Exception Message=Unable to connect to the VMM database because of a general database failure.
Ensure that the SQL Server is running and configured correctly, then try the operation again."
(side question: what does this mean: "Ensure that the SQL Server is ... configured correctly"?
I can say that :
SQL is configured by the book, that all services are running (did a reboot of VMM server too) and that all other VMM functions work OK. I don't believe that SQL is only used for user-roles...
Acting as Domain admin and VMM admin.
All updates are installed.
Please find the report @the and and a screen shot attached.
Thanks for any help.

Thomas.I (quite honestly) am one of those folks that generally do not read the KB articles associated with a patch or UR or SP - as you don't expect details like have been put into this particular one.
But as Kristian pointed out - within that KB article is the SQL script that modifies / updates this SQL Stored Procedure.
http://blogs.technet.com/b/scvmm/archive/2014/01/29/how-to-update-scvmm-2012-r2-to-update-rollup-1.aspx
Needless to say, the feedback was given to MSFT that folks would overlook that this SQL script needed to be run. So we are just trying to help out.
