[svn] 2514: frameworks: Fixing injection I made ages ago in build. xmls for framework projects

Log Message:
frameworks: Fixing injection I made ages ago in build.xmls for framework projects
* all the projects should have been building against player 9's playerglobal.swc, not player 10's (except for flex4.swc)
* this might fix compiling problems that developed in tests for air
* problem was that s in ant are immutable and don't fire a warning if you redeclare them with a different value. I thought I was overriding the global ${playerglobal.version} property in files that needed to make it 9 instead of 10
* solution: created global.playerglobal.version (which is 10) and in files that need to "override" it, I declare local.playerglobal.version locally.
Reviewer: Pete
Bugs: n/a
QA: Please retest air compiling problems. We should probably re-run everything, since we're going back to the correct playerglobal, stuff might get fixed, stuff shouldn't (but could) get broken.

Thanks for looking at this post. We have resolved the issue for ourselves by working with our DBAs to narrow down where the problem actually started. We found that the particular SQL we were looking at was not the issue. In a chart on a subsequent page (via a click through), we were actually running into where apex was starting to consuming memory but we were catching it later.
What we found was that when we had a chart query that was SQL containing a pipeline function, the memory usage went up. And within 10 minutes, the server would crawl to a halt. To release the memory, the DBAs would have to bounce the Apex instance. When I changed the query to be a function returning SQL, the problem stopped. I don't know what the correlation was between SQL and moving to a PL/SQL function returning SQL.
I am not even 100% positive of the pipeline function being the cause. I only know that this started happening about the same time as when I implemented the pipeline function. I understand you are leery of a one-second function/query running up that kind of utilization. No one here believed me either (including me really). We figured it HAD to be a coincidence. But once I changed the query from SQL to a function returning PL/SQL, our problem went away.
Thanks to all who looked at and thought about this.

I am modifying the correct httpd.conf file on the server, it just doesn't seem to work. - If I put the rewrite rules in the <Directory /> the rewrite works but it adds /Library/WebServer/Documents to the URL.
I also tried putting the rewrite rules in <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> but that did not work either.
mod_rewrite is enabled and running on the server.
I will post the rewrite rules again in the code brackets. Sorry for the long post. - If some one can try them out on their Leopard Server to see if they can get them to work, it would be much appreciated. Again, these work on my Leopard Client but I can't get them to work on Server.
-- The httpd.conf file posted above is just the default conf file found in /private/etc/apache2/

I chroot into workdir. uncommented en_US.UTF-8 in /etc/locale.gen, run locale-gen and now get this inside the chroot.

It's the first time I use a custom-repo and I set it up only for this purpose. So yes, it's up to date and can be used outside the chroot. Also a different package I put from AUR into my custom-repo installs fine and doesn't give this error.
How else could I test the custom-repo?

This is from a tester describing what happens on a Mac:
No the program does not launch properly on the Mac
    What happens is this.
    I open my applications folder
I open the App Folder and see another folder labeled Program V2.1
I open that folder and see the Program blue icon which click to launch
The folder disappears and the blue Program icon appears in my dock along side other applications looking ready for launching.
This is where the problem starts
If I click on the blue Program icon which is in my dock along side all of my other application icons they all drop off the screen. like the screen resolution changed suddenly or something,
The menu along the top of the screen also moves off the screen . in the same manner
so my desktop which usually has a visible dock at the bottom and a menu bar on the top now doesn't show either of those elements.
I do have a couple of document icons on my desktop , you know text files or what ever they never move
If I now click my mouse anywhere on the screen all of the icons return including the blue Program icon still sitting in by dock, if I click it again same sequence of actions.
I deleted and reinstalled the latest version of Adobe Air and got the same result
    I also want to mention
The top menu on the mac tells me what application is active, you know "finder" "Open office" "Firefox" what ever is program is running and active shows there
Program has never show up as being active in the top menu so I'm guessing never fully launched

despite the workaround, it doesn't fix the real problem. It shouldn't be a huge deal for adobe to add support for multiple svn versions. Dreamweaver is the first tool i've used that works with svn that doesn't support several types of svn meta data. If they're going to claim that Dreamweaver supports svn is should actually support svn, the current version, not a version several years old. This should have been among the first patches released, or at least after snow leopard came out (and packaged with it the current version of svn).
does anyone know if the code that handles meta data formatting is something that is human readable, or where it might be, or is it in compiled code.
i signed up for the forums, for the sole purpose of being able to vent about this very frustrating and disappointing situation.

There are two main annoying problems with Flash Builder and swc's:
    1.  Flash Builder doesn't reflect changes made to swc files
Solution : First of all - keep your swc files inside your project folder, you can also disable global swc cache: change as3api.cpp code, refresh swc in flashBuilder bug!
    2. Flash Builder breakes content inside swc files (and also popular problem "TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert flash.display::MovieClip@1f21adc1 to...")
Solution : locate the project .actionScriptProperties file and set useFlashSDK=”false” :  Flash Builder 4.7 – useFlashSDK | In Flagrante Delicto!
In this case you can also download latest Apache Flex SDK to target new Flash player versions: http://flex.apache.org/
    Hope this helps!

    Hi Renuka,
The model classes get generated under gen_cmi folder at the time of model import.
As far I know, the Web Dynpro build operation also re-generates these classes if reqd.
That is why I asked you to delete the gen_* folder content & do a Project Rebuild operation.
Or you can delete the model & try importing it again.
If the problem persists with the generated classes then there is an issue/bug with the generation & I would recommend to raise an OSS message (WD Java component)
    Kind Regards,
    Nitin

ATA bus error means that data corruption occurred during transmission over ATA bus (SATA or PATA). This type of errors can be indicated by
ICRC or ABRT error as described in the section called “ATA/ATAPI device error (non-NCQ / non-CHECK CONDITION)”.
Controller-specific error completion with error information indicating transmission error.
On some controllers, command timeout. In this case, there may be a mechanism to determine that the timeout is due to transmission error.
Unknown/random errors, timeouts and all sorts of weirdities.
As described above, transmission errors can cause wide variety of symptoms ranging from device ICRC error to random device lockup, and, for many cases, there is no way to tell if an error condition is due to transmission error or not; therefore, it's necessary to employ some kind of heuristic when dealing with errors and timeouts. For example, encountering repetitive ABRT errors for known supported command is likely to indicate ATA bus error.
Once it's determined that ATA bus errors have possibly occurred, lowering ATA bus transmission speed is one of actions which may alleviate the problem.
I'd also add; make sure you have good backups when ATA errors are frequent

FxContainer fix to make sure partRemoved/partAdded are never called with a null instance. In this case, in clearSkinParts(), we would call partRemoved() on all parts, whether they were there or not. This was causing a Thermo bug.
ASDoc fixes for Group, FxContainer, and FxDataContainer. Removing content property from ASDocs...this is not the recommended way to add items/remove items to Group/FxContainer. You should use the addItem/removeItem APIs. This is consistent with Flash Player and Halo. Under the hood someone can still set the content array, but it's discouraged because you could set two Groups to the same content array, which is hard to detect. Also, made currentContentGroup in FxContainer mx_internal...this is an implementation detail for us and something we may change later on. I also added some other ASDoc cleanups and fixes.

    Log Message:
QE Notes: Ran checkintests and Mustella tests for gumbo/core/ and gumbo/components/FxDataContainer. Joann is updatating the one test that failed. WHen verifying SDK-17750, please also verify Thermo bug SDK-17800.
