Hi Rod,
different sources (i.e. different branches) are mapped to different local folders in your workspace - in fact you cant map two different server folder to the same local folder.
In you example the mapping would be (for example) like this:
Server path
local path
$/../WpfHelloWorld
C:\Src\WpfHelloWorld
$/../WpfHelloWorldDev
C:\Src\WpfHelloWorldDev
You can see your Workspace mappings when you select "Workspaces..." in the Workspace selection drop down:
Within the "Manage Workspaces" dialog select your workspace and klick "Edit" to see and edit all you mappings.

Extend spark dropdownlist button to the longest item in dataprovider ?

Hi,
simple as stated in the thread's title : I cannot figure out a way to have my spark DropDownLists (no particular skin) extend their width to their longest item width ??
For instance the following :
<s:DropDownList id="aglist" width="100%" requireSelection="false"
dataProvider="{model.userAssignedAgents}" labelFunction="agentLabel"
change="aglist_changeHandler(event)" open="{aglist.selectedIndex = -1}"/>
when layed on a simple spark panel gets the standard DDList button width, about 50px whatever its content, though its items are much longer than that. So when the button is clicked, the dropdown menu shows some ugly scrollbars.
Do you have any clue ? I've been stuck for hours trying to do what sounds like the very-standard-way-of-setting-dropdownlist-width to me !

Good point.
The main problem I had with the ComboBox is that I don't want to allow "creation" of new elements, so if the typed text doesn't match any element, instead of selectedIndex of -3 it should just keep the old selection. Plus a few other things.
Thinking about it, this is probably my best choice, and if I were to extend a class it should probably be this one.

Well, I've already solved one of the two issues
In order to display the icons on my buttonbar buttons, I just needed to point at {hostComponent.data.data} instead of {hostComponent.data}. I'm not sure why, but {hostComponent.data} in my skin class is a handle on my instance of ButtonBarButton, not its "data" property. Any explanation is welcomed
I still have got the first issue though. Oddly enough my design works if I put an mx Image instead of the spark BitmapImage for the client logo. That will do the trick for the moment but I'd prefer to deliver a 100% pure spark component in my prototype, and I can see no reason why BitmapImage works inside my ButtonBarButtons and doesn't otherwise...

The 'lineBreak' style is now properly declared as non-inheriting.
For a long time we've intended for it to be non-inheriting... it lives in BasicNonInheritingStyles.as! And we want it to be non-inheriting, because in TLF this format does not inherit from parent FlowElement to child FlowElement, so in Flex is should not inherit from parent UIComponent to child UIComponent. But the metadata incorrectly said inherit="yes". It now correctly says inherit="no".

Found another embeddedfontcontext issue in the player. ElementFormat.getFontMetrics() must be called in the embeddedFont's moduleFactory context. Added a general "callInContext" API to IFLexModuleFactory. Eventually, TLF will add a new API so they can connect up to this capability and we'll change the code one more time.

Is it possible to import one spark component without importing the entire spark library?

I want to create an actionscript mobile application project because the total size will be smaller than a flex mobile application - the SDK is smaller because it doesnt contain unnecessary libraries e.g. the spark, mobilecomponents, framework etc. are not included. There are however 1 or 2 spark and mobile comonents that i would like to use and it seems a little silly to import the entire swc libraries for a couple components. So herewith my question... Is it possible to import a spark or mobile component without actually importing the entire swc library?

Im using option 2: Merged into code. I have just recreated this on a colleague's laptop as well with the same result.
Could you perhaps see if you can follow these steps and see what happens on your side.
Create a new Flex Mobile Project > SDK 4.6.0 > Google Android Platform > Blank Application Template > Finish
Add <s:TextInput/> under declarations tag
Export Release Build > Intermediate AIRI package that must be manually signed later > Finish
Decompile the SWF from the .airi package (I'm using Sothink SWF Decompiler)
Expand Action > Spark > Components
My components folder contains many spark components im not interested in packaging - see screenshot attached above for the full list. All we added was a spark textInput and the swf contains Buttons, Scrollbars, TabbedViewNavigator etc. Thus the reason for this post.

Fixing a fall-out from the DefaultItemRenderer change. When labelDisplay comes on-board, we should check to see if the label property has been set, and push it down in there if it has. We need this because the labelDisplay isn't created until createChildren() time, which happens when the component is first validated, but for some scenarios, the component may not be on-screen at the time we set the label property. Also, itemIndex needs to be "cloned" in the drag'n drop scenario.
