Log Message:
In updateDisplayList(), if it resizes the window, this calls setActualSize, so call validateMatrix() to make sure it is updated.  Usually validateMatrix() is done in validateDisplayList() before udl is called.  Due to timing this only seems to show on Windows systems.

Upgrade to flashplugin-10.3.181.14-1.
I had the same problem, the i used the flashplugin-beta from AUR. Now the new version is released.
I saw the solution here:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=118443
Good luck!
The latest flashplugin fixed the problem.  I haven't had a crash since updating a few weeks ago.  I just wanted to update this thread in case anyone is still running the prerelease with this problem.
The only major problem I have now is that justin.tv's player causes screen flickering for about 30s after going full screen, and I sometimes have to alt+tab to get full screen in focus after enabling it.

    If you create a metadatatype with a single metdata block, and you reference that in your vm/cm cell attribute using a *one* based index, Excel seems to see the link and it honors it when saving the spreadsheet.
    So, I ended up with something like:
    <c ... cm="1"/> (I'm dealing with cell metadata, but the concept is equivalente to value metadata)

    Well, I've tried compiling a package and I have modified the PKGBUILD file to look like this now. (Keeping it as simple as possible)
    pkgname=dvbcut-svn
    pkgver=16
    pkgrel=1
    pkgdesc="DVBCUT-svn is an application that allows you to
    edit MPEG files. ie: Remove TV ads. (SVN version: Fri, 01 Dec 2006)."
    url="http://dvbcut.sourceforge.net"
    depends=('qt' 'libao')
    makedepends=('subversion' 'scons')
    conflicts=('dvbcut' 'ffmpeg')
    provides=('dvbcut')
    source=()
    md5sums=()
    _svntrunk=https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/dvbcut/trunk
    _svnmod=dvbcut
    build() {
    cd $startdir/src
    svn co $_svntrunk --config-dir ./ -r $pkgver $_svnmod
    cd $_svnmod
    msg "SVN checkout done or server timeout"
    msg "Starting make..."
    make || return 1
    # vim:syntax=sh
    I then run makepkg PKGBUILD and let it do its thing
    It ends with this...

  • Svn revision number in the windows bar

    Hi,
    I'm thinking of the possibilities of putting the SVN revision number on the bar of application (exe). I'd be usueful feature to quick assess from which source code revision the application is build in.
    So what I would need is a kind of trigger/interface which I could use to launch the small piece a code which modify the  application window bar when the application is being build. I thought about preparing the string using the System Exec.vi (to execute svn.exe -st command to get the information I need). But how come can I impose on LV to trigger that code only when the build operation starts?
    Or maybe I shall use different approach?
    Solved!

    And how does that answer the question about changing the title bar of a window when a build process is initiated?
    As to the question: The application build has an API, so if you really needed to do this (and I can't quite figure out why), you could write your own VI to call the application builder to build your app. You can then change the title bar. I'm not sure, but I suspect you may need to resort to using the operating system API to change the window name, as I don't know if you can get a reference to the window that is displayed during the build process. If you have to use the operating system, then on Windows you can use the Windows API Function Utilities (32-bit) for LabVIEW .

  • [svn:bz-4.x] 16256: Do some build cleanup on the BlazeDS/4.x branch.

    Log Message:
    Do some build cleanup on the BlazeDS/4.x branch. I had just intended to update the build scripts to exclude xalan.jar from the WEB-INF/lib directory of a bunch of the webapps but while I was doing this I found a number of other problems that I attempted to fix. Here is a breakdown of what I changed.
    Update build scripts to not add xalan.jar to the WEB-INF/lib directory of those webapps that were including it. As far as I can tell we don't need to/shouldn't be shipping xalan.jar in the WEB-INF/lib directory of any of the webapps. I also updated the build scripts to not add fxgutils.jar to the WEB-INF/lib directory of those webapps that were including it. I also can't see any reason for us to be shipping fxgutils.jar with any of the webapps. This jar file is part of the Flex SDK and we're no longer shipping BlazeDS with the Flex SDK.
    The clean target in the main build.xml file was not calling clean on the ds-console webapp. It was also calling clean on the qa-regress webapp twice and never calling clean on qa-manual which was probably a typo. Fixed the build so clean now gets called for ds-console and qa-regress.
    The samples webapp had hsqldb.jar checked into its WEB-INF/lib directory in svn. The build script for the samples webapp was also copying hsqldb.jar from the <blazesd-home>/lib/hsqldb directory. I cleaned this up by deleting hsqldb.jar from the samples/WEB-INF/lib directory in svn so now we will just get the jar from the <blazeds-home/lib/hsqldb directory.
    After removing hsqldb.jar from the samples/WEB-INF/lib directory none of the webapps in BlazeDS have anything checked into their WEB-INF/lib directories in svn. Most of the BlazeDS webapps were using properties from the top level build.properties file to determine which jars to delete from the WEB-INF/lib directory. This is problematic because unless we do a good job of keeping these lists of jars up to date files wind up not being cleaned from the WEB-INF/lib directory and we could potentially ship files that are no longer part of the build. I fixed this issue by updating the build scripts for all of the webapps to delete everything from the WEB-INF/lib directory as part of the clean target.

    I have Launch2Net Premium 2.6.2 obn my system to get USB 3G Modem stick to work. It install many files into /System/Library/Extensions. All files are SierraDIPService.kext SierraFSPService.kext SierraDevSupport.kext.
    Remove SierraDIPService.kext from the above Extensions folder allow MobileDevice.pkg and othe installer that need to update system extension like soundflower.pkg to work properly.
    So, Sierra driveris the culprit!! I have to uninstall Launch2Net off my system. But my USB Stick Modem will not work anymore
    I have written to Nova System, the developer of Launch2Net to get fix to this problem

  • UpdateDisplayList doesn't work for skin when called from hostcomponent

    I have skin class where I have overrided updateDisplayList like this:
    override protected function updateDisplayList(unscaledWidth:Number, unscaledHeight:Number):void {
         switch (hostComponent.index) {
                case 0:
                  part.right = 100;
                  part.top = 100;
                  break;
                case 1:
                  part.right = 50;
                  part.top = 50;
                  break;
    every time I update index in hostcomponent, I want to call the updateDisplayList in skin so I have done this:
    public function set index(value:int):void {
            _index = value;
            invalidateDisplayList(); // doesn't work
            //updateDisplayList(); // doesn't work either
    ... but this does not work. Can you please help me figure out what the problem is? Thanks.

    Is index in the host component?  Maybe you need
        skin.invalidateDisplayList()

    SDK-19665 - Halo List with Gumbo skin doesnt draw the alternating item color all the way to the right edge of the control if VScrollBar is present
    SDK-19651 - odd header rendering issue on Halo DataGrid with Gumbo skin
    QA Notes: The alert layout code was positioning the buttons/text on sub-pixel boundaries if the width or height of the alert was an odd number of pixels. We always snap to pixel boundaries now, but this may cause bitmap compare issues with Alert.

  • [svn] 3937: FxContainer fix to make sure partRemoved/ partAdded are never called with a null instance.

    Revision: 3937
    Author: [email protected]
    Date: 2008-10-28 17:37:25 -0700 (Tue, 28 Oct 2008)
    Log Message:
    FxContainer fix to make sure partRemoved/partAdded are never called with a null instance. In this case, in clearSkinParts(), we would call partRemoved() on all parts, whether they were there or not. This was causing a Thermo bug.
    ASDoc fixes for Group, FxContainer, and FxDataContainer. Removing content property from ASDocs...this is not the recommended way to add items/remove items to Group/FxContainer. You should use the addItem/removeItem APIs. This is consistent with Flash Player and Halo. Under the hood someone can still set the content array, but it's discouraged because you could set two Groups to the same content array, which is hard to detect. Also, made currentContentGroup in FxContainer mx_internal...this is an implementation detail for us and something we may change later on. I also added some other ASDoc cleanups and fixes.
    QE Notes: Ran checkintests and Mustella tests for gumbo/core/ and gumbo/components/FxDataContainer. Joann is updatating the one test that failed. WHen verifying SDK-17750, please also verify Thermo bug SDK-17800.

    Gordon, it looks like its been a while since you made this post.  Not sure how valid it is now...   I am particularly interested in the LigatureLevel.NONE value.  It seems that it is no longer supported.
    How do I turn of ligatures in the font rendering?
    My flex project involves trying to match the font rendering of Apache's Batik rendering of SVG and ligatures have been turned off in that codebase.  Is there any way (even roundabout) to turn ligatures off in flash?
    Thanks,
    Om
