So do you know how I can get JavaStudio to add
library classes and JAR''s into the packaged dist
file?I was wrong in my previous post. Sorry.
It's impossible to specify additional classpath with '-jar' option.
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/tooldocs/windows/java.html#options
    -jar
When you use this option, the JAR file is the source of all user classes, and other user class path settings are ignored.
So the only solution is to add libs into jar file and declare them in manifest.
One possible way of how to do it in JSE8 is:
    1. Put all necessary lib jars to some place under src folder.
    2. Add those jars into Compile-time libraries list (Project properties -> Libraries) for correct compilation
    3. Switch to 'Files' JSE8 tab, open manifest.mf file (it's in projects root) and add your lib jars to it.
    Syntax is:
    Class-Path: relative URLs
    That's it.

The new user helped a little but not enough to make the customer happy. I have done a bunch of research over the weekend and I have found there is a little known bug in Apple's ACLs. ACL stands for Access Control List and I have a snippet from a MacFixit that describes the issue:
"A disappointing aspect of Repair Permissions in Leopard is that it does not deal with ACLs (Access Control Lists), a secondary layer of permissions control laid on top of standard Unix permissions, tentatively introduced in Tiger and actually used for the first time in Leopard. Repair Permissions will announce that it is surprised to discover that a certain folder has an unexpected ACL setting, but it won't do anything about it (in other words, it won't repair that kind of permissions)."
Anyway it appears to me that if your privileges get hosed in a computer upgrade the only way to really fix the problem is copy all of your data to a second HD and then break out the install DVDs that came with the Mac Pro and do a fresh install and set the user/file-sharing up manually and then copy your data back to the Mac Pro. I did not connect back to the G4 to get the data again, I just copied my many years of correspondence back to the Mac Pro and this time everything works?
The new user idea did let me manually drop files onto the Mac Pro from connected computers it WOULD NOT let me save files to the Mac Pro from network computers. I usually got a bad path message when I would try and save from Word or TextEdit. I figured I had wasted enough time on this problem and erasing everything and starting over was a better idea.
    Thanks everybody.

By the way, I agree with sybrand: you need to tune
    your redo log size.
    Regards
    Ignacio
    http://oracledisect.blogspot.com
    Ignacio,
The excessive waits on log file parallel write and the related client wait of log file sync may be due to insufficient CPU availability, and may not point at an actual redo log size problem or a problem with the disk speed where the redo is written to disk, especially if there are 3 Oracle instances on the server with a single CPU.
    Paraphrased from "Optimizing Oracle Performance":
The log file sync wait event is one of the first events to show increased latencies due to the time a process spends waiting in a CPU wait queue while processing excessive logical IOs.
Kevin Closson wrote a couple blog entries that examined the potential problems of insufficient CPU capacity and its effects on log file parallel write when writing to solid state disks, and even when writing redo was explicitly disabled:
    http://kevinclosson.wordpress.com/2007/07/21/manly-men-only-use-solid-state-disk-for-redo-logging-lgwr-io-is-simple-but-not-lgwr-processing/
"Once LGWR loses his CPU it may be quite some time until he gets it back. For instance, if LGWR is preempted in the middle of trying to perform a redo buffer flush, there may be several time slices of execution for other processes before LGWR gets back on CPU..." Fix the CPU problem, and the other significant waits may decrease.
    JesusLuvR,
yingkuan's suggestion to look at the SQL statement that performs the 4,365,564 logical IOs, consumes 186.03 CPU seconds, and has an execution time of 225.06 seconds, is likely a very good starting point. You might also want to check the value of the SESSION_CACHED_CURSORS parameter to see if it needs to be adjusted.

    Button.as
-Added some ASDocs for a previous fix where we made the icons property protected instead of private.
    Skins.properties, components.properties, sparkEffects.properties
-Removed ?\226?\128?\156Fx?\226?\128?\157 prefix and cleaned up whitespace
    SwatchPanel.as, defaults.css
-ColorPicker was drawing incorrectly with sparkskins because two halo specific styles were missing in the spark theme. Thus, I included highlightColor and shadowColor?\194?\160into the spark theme and added them to defaults.css.
    TitleWindowSkin.mxml, wireframe/TitleWindowSkin.mxml
-The label skin part came too close to the close button so I added padding
    DataGrid.as
    -Added exclude metadata for columnWidth
-Column widths are now rounded down to avoid sub-pixel values in the initial rendering

This bug figures out also when creating a custom spark ComboBox, then trying to programatically update the userProposedSelectedIndex property. The proposed selected index is selected, but does not apply the same skin as when mouse is on rollover or item is selected due to up and down keys.
The issue seems like updating the status of the item renderer to rollover or selected to get the same skin applied.
Please could you attach DropDow nList.as that you edited ?
    Thank you so much.
