SWT run fine by itself, not with JWS
Hi, dear all,
I am relatively new with Java web start. I encountered some problem while deploying my stand-alone SWT application as web start application.
The SWT application run sucessfully from IDE within JBoss environment. But if I run it from jnlp link, I got NullPointerException.
I am not sure why this is happening. I know my jnlp is configured correctly, because I can see the empty screen with no content. If I tried to print the size of colleciton I get from the Database, it's giving me NullPointerException. I spent a lot of time to look for solution. No luck. I am not sure if this has something to do with JBoss configuration for JWS or something else?
Any idea? Many thanks.

Java Web Start itself is a Swing app, which is probably why it can't co-exist with SWT code.

PSE 9 was running fine but will not start now and I get the following message: This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
I have an HP Desktop running XP Professional and tried Restore but it didn"t help. I was just going to uninstall and re-install but I can't get in to deactivate.See if anything here helps:

Sheet runs query twice? (Not with drill-down)
I have a sheet that seems to run more than one query.
The Progress bar counts down, and then completely restarts. Each query takes about the same amount of time.
A few facts:
--This is using Discoverer Plus.
--Also, we're patched up to 9.0.2.53.12.
--The sheet does not include a drill.
--An examination Sheet / Show SQL shows only one SQL statement.
Before I enter a tar, has anyone seen this behavior?Just a guess, I think you're seeing one progress bar for the query time estimate prediction and a second progress bar for the query runtime. Sounds like the "guesstimator" takes the fully alloted time to decide the query is short enough to not ask you whether you want to complete the execution of the query. Then (I don't know why) the progress bar starts over for the rest of the query execution time.
Please let us know if you find something else.

Sql Query is running fine in one database but running from long in other

One query is running fine on 11gr2 database with having 2GB SGA and cost of the running query is 15, but the same query is running from long time in other database having same 2GB SGA.

Please give me any ideabro it is not working on string format coz of the missing quotes. e.g. 'smith' or smith. so the quoted string will be compared. in set_block_property u have to include extra quotes on the variable. e.g.
set_block_property('emp',default_where,'where ename='''||:emp.ename||'');
or with conditional statement
set_block_property('emp',default_where,'where ename='''||:emp.ename||''' and dname='''||dept.deptno||'');
there i included two extra qoutes before joining ename and in the an extra quote to complete to string. if u would like to debug at runtime to show if the qouted string condition is proper then assign the where clause to a variable and message it up.

message(myvariable);

after the string is quoted properly the execute query will work fine, also use the function upper or lower to compare strings.

Report running fine via se38 , but not with tcode.
I had made a alv report, and had assinged TCODE.
When running via tcode > in selection screen i had given all the input data in selection fields,>After that when clicking the execution button> ITS GOING BACK TO SAP SCREEN.
BUT.
SAME report when running through SE38, its running fine..
I had debugg the program , and what find that when running throug TCOde , After AT-SELECTION SCREEN EVENT , ITS COMING OUT TO SAP MENU WITHOUT TRIGGERING THE START-OF-SELECTION EVENT.

SWT Runs in Eclipse - Not after export (NOT executable JAR)
I have been working on my first SWT application. It will run when using the Eclipse run command. However, when I export the project to a JAR file I can't get the module to run. I am NOT trying to run this as an executable JAR. I will eventually get to that, but for the moment I just want to be able to execute the module via the standard Java command.
When I try to run the module via:
java com.myproj.visual.SearchDisplay I get the following result:
NoClassDefFoundError: org/eclipse/swt/widgets/LayoutI have tried every variation of running this that I can find. I have the swt.jar as well as the jar containing my project files in the class path. I have extracted the DLL files from swt.jar and put them in the directory from which I am executing the module, i.e. I change directory to there before executing the Java command. I tried including the following in the Java command:
-Djava.library.path=c:\projects\java\myproj\swt-win32-3139.dllI have also tried including the classpath at the Java command:
-classpath .;c:\projects\java\myproj\swt.jar;c:\projects\java\myproj\mmstat.jarSo far nothing has helped. I get the same error regardless what I do. Yet this runs fine inside Eclipse.
In my Eclipse environment I do have swt.jar imported. And have org.eclipse.swt in my Require Projects tab on the Build Path. I also have swt.jar and Standard Widget Toolkit identified in the Libraries tab of the Build Path. And on the Order and Export tab I have tried including all three (Standard Widget Toolkit, swt.jar and org.eclipse.swt) and then each one separately and then in combinations.
It is obvious that I am not exporting correctly or I don't have the correct configuration at runtime. But I can not figure this out. I have been reading forums for days now. They mostly are concerned with excecutable JARs which is not yet my problem. I first need to get this working before worrying about packaging an executable.
Can someone please help suggest some solutions for me?

Lexington, KYMaking a jar file from SWT project, in Eclipse:
1. Create one manifest file in project with following contents:
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Class-path: swt.jar
Main-class: package.MainClass
2. Export jar file with this manifest file
a) Right-click on project
b) Selection Export
c) Select Java and Jar file
d) Select the project, classpath and file project
e) In jar file textbox enter the name for jar file and select options: "Exports generated class files and resources" and "Compress the content of the jar file"
f) Press Next button
g) Press Next button
h) Select "Use existing manifest from workspace" and select the manifest file which you has created
i) Press Finish button
3. Put togheter the jar file and swt.jar
4. Run jar file -
I have a php module which runs fine in Firefox and all other browsers but not Safari. It always run twice - I see a small ? in upper right corner which is causing it to run twice but NO idea why? I read it MAY have something to do with am image it cannot load but I see them all loaded. Help - thank you

If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms. -
@I run a Windows 8.1 - Photoshop CS5 under Parallels on an iMac one year old and both having the latest OS. I use a NIK plugin "VIVEZA" which run fine for years without a problem. Latelt and without a reason, the NIK plugin has gone corrupt, (can not use it more the 2 corrections after a get a black background message that there is not enough memory) and the system stops running and a must restart is required. How do I fix this terrible problem?
If it requires a Photoshop CS5 re-install, (I belief that it may fix the problem) and re-install the two third party plugins (NIK Viveza) and (Onone Perfect Resize) how and where do I get to the proper Adobe upload page to do that.
I have tried to fix this problem by changing the memory allocations, I have spend many hours on it and are very disgusted with it but it needs to be fixed. The current memory settings are;
Ram available = 1588 MB
Range = 873 -1143 MB
Recommended Photoshop usage range = 857 however I have tried every setting to max and in between. Nothing works. Current setting = 1588 (max)
The Photoshop I use is registered, I have product # and order # .Contact NIK for updated/upgraded versions of their plug-ins. They have been having a lot of issues with their plug-ins.

EBS Forms functional script runs fine in OpenScript but not from OTM

I have an EBS forms functional test script which runs fine in OpenScript, but when scheduled from OTM, the web part runs fine but when it comes to forms, the script fails with the following error:

I have performed all the steps below already:
1) Stopping the OATS Agent service and changing it to manual.
2) Starting the command prompt and running the AgentManagerService command as mentioned in your forum.
3) The console displays

But each time the script fails, please note that my script has assets and they are placed within the script folder.

You need to enable Forms Automation under agent. Please follow by below steps.
1.open command prompt
2.cd C:\OracleATS\agent
3.FormsAutomationEnabler.bat -enableForms true

I red That I should copy /users/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illusratot CS4 Setting/ folder to the user home folder within the same path.
This is work.
But how can I make sure that all of ALL my Adobe application will work for all Users??

The problem is for illustrator, adobe reader and adobe pro. For all of them, when I run it with a locl account, it works, but when I run its from the same workstation but with a network account:
- illustartor freez
- adobe reader craches and retsat and craches...
- Adobe Acrobat pro freez.
Only photoshop works.
Do you have an idea how can I make it working with a network account but only from the same workstation?
