Symbol not swapping!
This is driving my crazy. I've been swapping symbols in Flash
for months and all of a sudden it STOPS WORKING! Let's review: To
swap a symbol, all you have to do is highlight the symbol on stage,
click "Swap" in the Properties palette and select a new symbol from
the library. Simple, right? Well, when I select a new symbol from
the library, nothing happens! The swap action is registered in the
History palette, but no visible change has been made on the stage.
Better yet, I tried an alternate solution by deleting the old
symbol and dragging the new symbol on the stage from the librabry.
But what appears on stage is still the OLD symbol! What the hell's
going on?
in some cases it can drive you nuts (as it did to you) if you
dont know the what and why of the sync
option.
Sync is a feature that is available when a motion tween is
applied -
click on the keyframe with the motion tween and look at the
bottom of
the properties Panel. You'll see Sync with a checkbox next to
it. If
this box is selected, then the symbol in the first keyframe
will be
forced to all subsequent keyframes there after. it literally
keeps a
single instance in sync with the timeline in the motion
tween.
Deselect the Sync option and you can literally have 2
different symbols motion tweened - yes it is
true - as often as we have been told
only 1 symbol per tween, you can literally have "symbol A" in
frame 1 of
a motion tween and then swap in a new symbol in the 2nd
keyframe of the
motion tween if Sync is NOT selected.
your problem was merely that Sync was selected which prevents
you from
swapping in a new symbol on that layer/tween.
Here's where Flash makes the Sync feature even more
mysterious: If you
apply a motion tween by selected the tween from the drop doan
menu in
the Properties Panel, then Sync is UNCHECKED. If you like to
right-click
between keyframes on the layer and select Apply Motion Tween
from the
popup context menu, then Sync will be CHECKED. This is what I
consider a
huge incosistency with Flash. If you are not aware of it (and
there's nothing in the help docs to
support this inconsistency) then you'll end up pulling your
hair out trying to find out why swapping
stopped working :p
on the flip side, Sync is great for when you want/need to
change the symbol throughout an entire
tween and all keyframes - if sync is selected, just swap out
the symbol in the first keyframe and
all subsequent keyframes will reflect the change.

the Snyc option do? I don't seem to notice its effect besides
prohibiting swapping.

Avoiding Error: referenced symbol not found in STL matrix
Hi,
in Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 C++ 5.3 2001/05/15 there is a well known problem when STL classes are used. For example, the following code:
#include <vector>
int main()
std::vector<int> myVector;
myVector.push_back(1);
will cause a linking error:
symbol std::vector::__insert_aux : referenced symbol not found.
There is a workaround in:
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=850&threadID=5069680
Some recommended link options are provided in:
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=850&threadID=5104725
Once solved this problem, something similar happens when I try to build a matrix using nested templates std::vector:
// Matrix defined in my class.
class myClass
public:
std::vector<std::vector<double> > matrix;
Of course, I want to use the matrix dynamically:
int main ()
myClass object;
// Create a matrix with Nrows rows.
object.matrix = std::vector<std::vector<double> > (Nrows);
// etc ...
This code will cause the following referenced symbol not found error at linking:
$ echo __1cDstdGvector4n0AGvector4Cdn0AJallocator4Cd____n0AJallocator4n0C____2G6Mrk1_r1_ | c++filt
std::vector<std::vector<double,std::allocator<double> >,std::allocator<std::vector<double,std::allocator<double> > > >&std::vector<std::vector<double,std::allocator<double> >,std::allocator<std::vector<double,std::allocator<double> > > >::operator=(const std::vector<std::vector<double,std::allocator<double> >,std::allocator<std::vector<double,std::allocator<double> > > >&)
so the matter is that the operator = is not found for matrix as a nested template. std::vector::push_back method cannot also be used, as shown above.
I have found a workaround to avoid this linking error:
int main ()
myClass object;
// Create a matrix with Nrows rows.
std::vector<std::vector<double> > auxiliarMatrix (Nrows);
object.matrix.swap (auxiliarMatrix);
// Now matrix can be filled:
for(int nCont=0; nCont < Nrows; nCont++)
std::vector<double> auxiliarVector;
// Vector must be filled first...
object.matrix[nCont] = auxiliarVector;
// etc ...
std::vector::swap method exchanges auxiliarMatrix and object.matrix, so now I have a matrix with the required size. And, very important, doesn't cause linking error in my case.
Hope this may be useful for somebody.

The crash occurs because either multiple JavaPlugins are installed on your HD, or you need to reinstall the latest Java Update.
Go to your Finder: Your User Account>Library>Internet Plug Ins folder. If you see JavaPluginCocoa there, move it to the trash, then restart Safari.
If there is no such plugin in that folder, reinstall the Java update using this download. In the event Safari is stable only for a short time preventing you from downloading the file again, first, go to Safari Preferences>Security and uncheck the Java option. Then try the download. After the install, restart Safari, go back to the Security Panel and select Java again. -
Issue with field symbol not assigned in SMQ2
We are facing an issue with an error in SMQ2.
The error is "field symbol not assigned". There is also short dump in ST22.
I have read the previous forum threads and it talks about going into the debugger mode.
However, which is the program to be debugged ?
How do I navigate from SMQ2 to the ABAP program.
Kindly let me know.
Regards,
SanjayHi Sanjay,
You need to debug program RSTRFCM3. This is the program which drives SMQ2.
However just check if there are any support pack upgrades to the program recently since this is a standard program.

Ld.so.1 problem - fatal: relocation error - "referenced symbol not found"
Hi, I've been trying to compile and run my application non Solaris using CC (detils below) but haven't got luck with running the application because of a linker error :
ld.so.1: java: fatal: relocation error: file ./libtest.so: symbol __1cDstdMbasic_string4Ccn0ALchar_traits4Cc__n0AJallocator4Cc___J__nullref_: referenced symbol not found
Here's what I'm trying to do :
I'm compieing one library to include another shared library whcih uses the "string" class (STL). The compilation of both the libraries proceeds perfectly fine. However, when i preload this library with LD_PRELOAD and run a JAVA application (which will have calls to some function in the preloaded library), the get the above linker error.
Here's what all I have tries to get thsi wroking : ( I understand that this error is due to a missing library that CC has not linked to and i've no idea what the library is!!!)
1.> # LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
# export LD_LIBRARY_PATH - NO LUCK :-(
2.> linked to /opt/SUNWspro/lib/libCrun.so (found this from another forum on the net), but NO LUCK :-(
3.> export LD_DEBUG=bindings
export LD_DEBUG_OUTPUT=/home/log.txt (so that all sysmbols refered are logged!!!)
i did a grep on the log for the symbol but NO LUCK!!! :-(
Please can you help me with this? What is the library that is to be linked too, or is there something else?
Details About my system, compiler and compilation options :
1.> uname -a output : SunOS sh1sol9 5.9 Generic_117171-12 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-280R Solaris
2.> CC version : Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 C++ 5.3
3.> Compilation flags i've used to build the library :
FIRST LIBRARY : CC -G -xcode=pic32 -I../common/ -ldl ../common/logger.cpp helper_functions.cpp BCPEntries.cpp BCP_class.cpp -o libBCP.so
SECOND LIBRARY : CC -G -xcode=pic32 -I../common/ test_BCP_construct.cpp -lBCP -L. -o libtest.so
Please help me out of this,
Any and every help (or even a hint to it) will be appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance,
Madhur Kumar TanwaniRefer to the C++ Users Guide that comes with the compiler, the chapter on Building Libraries, which explains these points in more detail.
When you build a C++ shared library, you must explicitly list all the libraries that it depends on. Unlike building an executable, the CC -G command does not by default create dependencies on system libraries. Although not explained well in the Guide, you should be sure you get the shared (.so) versions of all libraries, not the static (.a) versions.
All C++ programs require at least libCrun and libc. Programs that use the C++ Standard library (using anything in the std namespace, like std::string) also need to link to the appropriate version of the library.
The default library is libCstd. If you compile using the optional STLport library, you need the libstlport instead. You cannot use both libCstd and libstlport in the same program.
In your case, the build command would look something like this, assuming you are using the default libCstd:
CC -G -o mylib.so ..... -library=Cstd,Crun -lc
Be sure that any preceeding -Bstaic option is followed by -Bdynamic before listing these system libraries.
To verify you have picked up the dynamic libraries, run the command
ldd mylib.so
to see a list of dependencies. If you don't see the following in the list
/usr/lib/libCstd
/usr/lib/libCrun
/usr/lib/libc (or /lib/libc)
something is wrong.
A note about LD_LIBRARY_PATH: don't use it.
Ideally, the environment variable should never be set. If you must set it to reach vendor-supplied libraries, never put the system directories /lib or /usr/lib on the path, and never put the compiler installation directory, like /opt/SUNWspro/... on the path. You can wind up forcing the runtime loader to seach directories in the wrong order and pick up inappropriate versions of libraries.
For more on LD_LIBRARY_PATH, read this note in Rod Evans' blog. He's the Sun linker expert. The material here is available in the manuals, but his blog has a nice summary.

HELP! Copyright symbol not displaying properly!
Hi, I just uploaded a site and I have a couple of problems. The copyright symbol on the footer of each page shows up as a diamond with a question mark in it. Then on some other pages, like the FAQs page for example, the bullet symbols are displaying correctly but the em dashes look like a diamond question mark followed by a G with a squiggle under it. What am I doing wrong?
Check it out here:
http://www.newenglandadventure.com
Also, it seems my footer is breaking onto a second line. It looks fine in Dreamweaver when I preview the page in a browser, but now it looks like it doesn't fit. It might have to do with the copyright symbol, not sure. Please help because I've already uploaded the site and I don't want people to view it messed up like it is, thanks!Can I assume that you either copied this straight from word or pasted the text into Design View?
If you go into the code view, you will probably see the diamond symbols there too. For the copyright symbols:
 Copyright 2012 New England Adventure, LLC. All rights reserved.
Replace with:
© Copyright 2012 New England Adventure, LLC. All rights reserved.
For your bullets, you can either modify what you have or change it to an unordered list which is the correct way to display such information.
To change to unordered list, select the bulleted text and in the Dreamweaver menu go Insert > HTML > Text objects > Unordered List.
In code view you should see each line now has <li> around it.
To replace what you have, remove the symbols in code view and replace with •
Ģ Meals: Four Breakfasts and two Dinners<br />
Replace with:
• Meals: Four Breakfasts and two Dinners<br />
For your em dash:
Insert > HTML > Special Characters > Em-Dash
or
add — in code view.
As for the footer, it seems to be a basic spacing issue. This can be amended several ways - increasing the width of the div/table cell, decreasing the font size, removing margins/padding etc. Or it could simply be caused by the additional diamond symbols on the copyright.

Short dump GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED field symbol not been assigned
Hi Gurus,
I am calling a RFC BAPI_PBSRVAPS_CHANGEKEYFIGVAL2 from R/3 sytem to SCM 5.0.
Acutally this FM BAPI_PBSRVAPS_CHANGEKEYFIGVAL2 not available in R/3 system.
So i am using scm destination and calling above FM directly from R/3 but i am getting the short dump
in SCM system as GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED field symbol not been assigned.
Can you pls check and advise.
Best Regards,
Radhakrishna.Hi Radhakrishna,
It looks like you have a discrepancy in the planning area with respect to keyfigure. Some thing like the key figure description is not synchronized between live cache and db.
I suggest you log onto your SCM system, run the program /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK on your planning area with correct error option.
Please let me know if this works. -
FIELD SYMBOLS - Not Assigned/Looking to fetch SAP processed ITAB from a ALV
Hi Experts,
Pls. let me know that,
How to fetch the SAP Standard Prog. processed (w/ data) internal table into my_z_prog.?
Actually, my intension is that, I need to develop a Z_alv_report similar to RFITEMGL.
So,I coded as,
SUBMIT RFITEMGL
WITH SELECTION-TABLE seltab1
WITH x_opsel EQ x_opsel SIGN 'I'
WITH x_clsel EQ x_clsel SIGN 'I'
WITH x_aisel EQ x_aisel SIGN 'I'
with pa_vari eq pa_vari sign 'I' "ltdx
EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY
and return.
(seltab1 contains the selection criteria of BUKRS)
Its working fine for small amount of data, if user runs wide open, huge data, so, dumps r throwing becoz of DECIMAL NOTATIONS, some other crap data!!!
So, I thoght to use FIELD SYMBOLS.
So, I know, How to use FILEDS SYMBOLS, like,
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs> TYPE ANY.
ASSIGN ('(SAPFV45P)XVBAP[]') TO <fs>.
CHECK SY-SUBRC IS INITIAL.
IF NOT <fs> IS INITIAL.
I_T_VBAP = <fs>.
ENDIF.
So, i implemented the same in my_z_alv_prog; from other thread, likem eblow.
Suppose RFGLBALANCE is your standard program and you have an internal table named I_RFGLBALANCE.
And lets say your Z program name is Z_SRINIVAS.
First find out the type of the internal table you want in your Z-program in the standard program. And declare an internal table of similar type in your Z-program.
Later wherever you are putting the below mentioned code.
SUBMIT RFGLBALANCE WITH selection criteria
here I used the FILED SYMBOLS .......
BUT, am getting error as FILED SYMBOL NOT ASSIGNED.
So, pls. let me know that,
1 - Can I get the SAP processed ITAB by using FIELD SYMBOL into my_z_prog.?
2 - If NOT , wht is the alternative idea?
3 - if so, pls. code a peice of code according my reqirement by using FIELD SYMBOLS, in such a way to get SAP ITAB from RFGLITEMS
URGENT pls.
thanq

Error: "Account Symbol NOT Assigned to Flow Type".
Good Morning,
When I runs transaction RERAPP, I got this error message: Account Symbol NOT Assigned to Flow Type.
However I reviewed the configuration specifically "Assigned Account Symbol to Flow type", and the account symbol is there.
I mean is already assigned to the flow type.
Do I have to review in any other place? What else I need to do?
Regards,
HectorHi Hector,
Please make sure that for any Reference Flow Type that you assigned for all the Flow Type Relations (check if you have all the needed relation that you need) (V_TIVCDFLOWREL) you have a correspondent (V_TIVRAACCDET - Account Determination Value).

Safari 4 won't load - Symbol not found: _WebActionFormKey
I'm really frustrated with this problem. I'm hoping someone from Apple monitors these posts, since I can't find any way to post a bug report. This is the family computer, and it doesn't have any add-ons or plug-ins for Safari. I have deliberately avoided geeking with this box, and I don't want to start now. I hope Apple will issue a patch promptly.

Sorry, I'm afraid not, just us fellow users here.
I hope Apple will issue a patch promptly
There's nothing to patch in this case. It simply seems to be the case that the installation failed (for whatever reason - a problem with your hard disk maybe?).
If you still have the installation package, see if you can re-run it. If not try downloading a fresh copy from www.apple.com/safari/download.
I have a feeling the installer requires WebKit (which is the improperly installed part) so the installer may not run either. If that's the case, post back. -

Can any let me know the cause of the error ..and how to resolve.. do i need to give any extra parameters while creating jump target..
Thanks,
GuptaHello Gayathri,
One you got the dump you can select debugger button in top-left corner screen.
That will take you to the execution snap shot where you can check all the field symbols and find out which one is not
assigned. accordingly you can find out what is missing on input side to avoid this dump.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Augustin. -

After I did the latest MacOS update (10.9.5) Safari (7.0.6) no longer runs. I repaired permissions and also rebooted in safe mode so I could potentially remove any spurious plug-ins, but the last time I did this was with MaxOS 6 so I have no idea where to look in the current version.
The error message that pops up is:

(insert a 'shed load' of other lines of log data which you probably don't need, right?)If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.
If you use FileVault 2, then before running the Installer you must launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the FileVault startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) It will be nested below another icon with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar and enter your login password when prompted. Then quit Disk Utility to be returned to the main Recovery screen.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it. The same goes for Xcode. All other data will be preserved.
*The linked support article refers to OS X 10.9 ("Mavericks"), but the procedure is the same for OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later.

Ghosted / transparent icons on desktop
Hello all, I recently bought a new Mac Pro, and it seems all the desktop icons have turned to be about 25% transparent except for my hard drive and network icons. Those remain 100% visable. Any ideas on how to fix this, or what's happening? Thanks! -
