Sync calenders from outlook

Hi I have iphone 3G. and Windows Outlook Vista on Toshiba
When syncing, all Calendar eventswith repeats, are extending by 2 days on my phone . Any suggestions?
Also Calendars screen on phone is freezing as blank.Have to go into Calendars/Hide All pages/ then show all pages every time to get it up on screen.Any suggestions?

I thought the iPod does have the feature to sync calenders. When I plug in my iPod and click under the "Contacts" tab its gives me the option to sync contacts and calenders, but under the calender section it says "Must have Microsoft Outlook installed in order to synchronize calenders". I installed Microsoft Outlook but that option is still not there. I'll look into the third-party software anyways I guess. Thanks for the reply.

Is there any way to Sync contacts from Outlook for Mac to iPhone 5? Apple support says that only iTune can only sync contacts from "Contact" which is the default contact of Mac. If one is running Outllok on a Mac machine then it is not possible to sync the contacts with iPhone. It is strange that Apple distributors are promoting and offering machines with promise that Windows users can now run MS Office on Mac machines without any problem. While this is true, it is so strange that one cannot sync the contacts from MacBook Pro to iPhone5. Unable to sync contacts from outlook 2003 (windows) - HELP

I'm having issues syncing contacts from outlook 2003 (windows)- nothing comes over - any thoughts?
-IBM Laptop - Windows XP/SP2, latest phone software has been updated

If the iphone goes through the sync and nothing is moved to the iphone, there might be something blocking the sync.

Sync contacts from outlook 2007 to gmail problem

Hello everybody! I have an issue when I use the sync zone in order to sync contacts from outlook 2007 to gmail with pc companion 2.10.065
The problem is that some certain fields (like "work 2" number) do not sync at all.
Other fields (like the "webpage" field) sync on some contacts and do not sync on some other contacts.
Is there a workaround on that?

I have just tested this and it seems just as you say that any second number of the same category won't be synced. I think this is a limitation at Google not matching/supporting the exact same PIM filed's.
However I could not replicate the problem with the web page field.

I'm using iTune 10, it fail to sync notes from Outlooks 2007 how to solve please advice.

How can I sync Notes from Outlook with my iPhone

Calendar, Contacts and E-mail works great, but I live by the notes in Outlook. I switch from Blackberry to iPhone. I am using notes to store quick account info and notes from users while working. When I am back to the office I sync everything with outlook so I can have backup in case something happens to my phone. Any chance somebody developed App that can be used to sync notes between Outlook and iPhone, or even ITunes and iPhone?

I think I solved my problem. Contacts in Outlook have Notes section. I just created another set of contacts and rename that contact group "NOTES". I copied all my notes from notes folder in outlook to this new contact group and now my notes are syncing using exchange active sync just like my regular contacts. Problem solved without any third party application.

Calendar data is now synced through icloud not local itunes.
Make sure it is setup under Settings>Icloud & Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars

Syncing contacts from Outlook

I have been importing my contacts from Outlook. However, now I have many duplicates in my iPod Nano that I want to remove. Syncing again does not remove them.
How do you delete contacts from the Nano?

But, you are going to have to further explain what you mean by "sync local email"...there are several possible interpretations of those words, and we'd want to make sure we address exactly what you desire. For instance...new emails or a full mailbox sync? Is the mailbox truly local, or is it technically hosted at some email provider (with Outlook being merely the client access mechanism for the PC)? Please provide details of precisely what you are seeking so that we can address it correctly.

Syncing Calendar from Outlook to iPhone results in different times

Hi, I just got an iphone, but when i try to sync my calendar from Outlook, the events always show up as 6 hours later. For example:
In Outlook:
Band Rehearsal, 12:30 - 15:30
On the iPhone:
Band Rehearsal, 18:30 - 21:30
I've checked the time zones and they all match (Windows, Outlook and iPhone are all set to Amsterdam). Any suggestions? Thanks!

With help from google and some other people that have had the same problem I found the answer to this.
There is 2 regional settings on a iPhone.... (almost)
If you:
1. Go to Settings
2. Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Scroll down to Claendar- Time Zone Support
Then there is a time zone aswell... and when I changed this one everything went fine....
You could also just diable this time zone support aswell....

Contact Sync problem - Syncing contacts TO Outlook 2013 stopped working, whilst syncing contact FROM Outlook 2013 to iPhone still works.

I've tried everything...
iPhone version: 5S with latest OS (v.8.1).
Outlook version 2013, on Windows 7, latest iTunes version (12.x)
I prefer NOT to use iCloud (as the representation of iCloud contacts in Outlook ignores the contacts' folder division, which is important to me).
I have an Exchange server, though the sync is directed to my local Outlook client.
All other settings looks good (again, syncing FROM Outlook TO iPhone works, but I need vice versa).
I've tried syncing with closed Outlook client. Tried resetting configuration, tried moving to iCloud and back etc.. All, just to see the problem persist. Newly created contacts on the PC get synced to the iPhone, while newly created contacts ON the iPhone, does not get synced to Outlook.
Please HELP.

I have the same problem, when I sync the contacts they pass well from outlook to my iphone, but not the way around, indeed it changes my iphone contacts information and dismisses all the inputs that I already made in the iphone.

iTunes does not support syncing email account mailboxes and messages with an email client on your computer. The option under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes for email accounts is for transferring the email account settings from a supported application on your computer to the iPhone's Mail client only so you don't have to manually create the account.
If you want to keep mailboxes synchronized with the server automatically with each email client used to access the account, you need an IMAP account which is specifically designed for this.
