Synced items generated in 2007 have changed and /or not synced categories/colors
Just purchased and loaded 365 onto a new high spec machine , after a little confusion with registration /user registration etc it is working , some of it looks nice and familiar - word is opening old word files and templates cleanly and looks quite user
friendly
Outlook is presenting challenges , I use a windows phone so set up a live.com acct. some while ago to sync contacts and calendar entries ( I also have my own company domain ,accounts have been successfully set up for that)it has all work ed ok until swapping
to 365 the live act is syncing content but is doing odd things with the categories it is showing the category options with all the names I assigned them - clients ,suppliers technical etc etc
two problems
1 it has changed the colours of all the categories - even leaving some of the previously used colors unused
2 in contacts (now called people ) it has failed to sync the categories for entries although it has brought the names of categories across in the "categorize " option - again with all the colors swapped around
Hoping someone has an answer for this - I do not fancy going through a 1000 or so entries re categorizing them!! :-)
If it helps I have not changed from 2007 on my old laptop - would like to get new system running right before cutting all lifelines!
How do you setup your live account in Office 365? Try to use the Exchange ActiveSync protocal to setup live account in your email profile and then re-sync it.
File > Account settings > New > Manual setup or additinal server types > Outlook.com or Exchange AcitiveSync compatible service

You need to reset the password for the "old" account, and then use that to turn off iCloud. Then you will be able to sign in with your new ID.
You can reset your password at iForgot.apple.com.

I have downloaded IOS7 on my iPhone and all calendar events have disappeared. The general functions of the calendar have changed and are definitely not 'user friendly'. How can I retrieve my calendar events. Will Apple improve the calendar function or revert to the previous system. Even the typing function on IOS 7 is faulty - very slow to respond to the keyboard. Very strange! All of my calendar events have reappeared. This has happened one week after downloading iOS 7
The calendar however, is not easy to use.

I have Photoshop cs6 Ext on an ASUS laptop. How can I increase the font size of the contents of the FILTER Panel situated on bottom left of screen. The font size is extreamly small and almost unreadable. I have changed display parameters, not the resolution, to no avail.

You can default Firefox to a larger zoom level to avoid having to zoom every page. You'll still be able to adjust the size for individual sites as needed. It sounds as though you are aware of these add-ons:

There are some discussions about changing coming in Firefox 22 (I think) to address higher density displays like the Retina display. So perhaps there will be a built-in setting to address this in the future. -

I downloaded the newest version of camera raw for LR. I have LR4 and can not import photos from my new Nikon D750. The download said it was sucessful but I still can not import photos.
Lightroom doesn't use the Camera Raw plug-in. So downloading the latest Camera Raw didn't do anything at all for you. The only way to update or upgrade Lightroom is to obtain the latest version. If you have Lightroom 4 then the last version of Lightroom you can have at no additional cost is Lightroom 4.4.1. If the camera you are using requires anything newer than what is supported and that version of Lightroom then it will require an upgrade to Lightroom 5.

I'm having a similar problem to what others have reported, but with a symptom I haven't seen mentioned. When I attempt to purchase the albums in the cart an alert is raised saying that, "Your Shopping Cart's Contents Have Changed". My cart isn't being updated from another computer, I can assure you.
I deleted all items from the cart and readded them. That didn't help.
I've successfully bought a lot of music through iTMS but over the last couple of days this problem has appeared. Very annoying.It may be that Apple is in discussions with that label/artist in about use. If that is the case one of the songs or the whole cd is not purchaseable but still listed in iTMS. I had it happen with me.

The problems began when I deleted a ymail account and replaced it with a new ymail account. My main account is a gmail. At some point Yahoo appear to have changed the suffix from ymail.com to yahoo.com. I could not and indeed cannot get iCloud to accept my new account. I kept getting told that my id and password could not be configured. Eventually I tried it on my mini iPad and "hey presto!" no problem at all. My new yahoo account nestles comfortably in iCloud on the mine iPad. But the MacBook Pro will have none of it! I write this question now as I fear that I will be totally demented very soon and unable to formulate my thoughts clearly!
By the way, I also find the "password" issue problematical. It seems Apple want my Apple password rather than my eMail password. All very confusing.Killerfinch wrote:

No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.

Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.
