Synchronizing Pluggable mapping in main map

Hi,
I used a pluggable mapping in a map . If I do any changes in the pluggable map,
those are not reflecting in the map where that pluggable map is used. To reflect I opened the map and I used synchronise option . If I use that pluggable map in many maps , I have to open each and every map and selectiing the option synchronsie.. Is there any alternative way to synchronise the pluggable map with the main map without opening the map...

I've changed the context to my project and to my module (DWH), which consists the mapping and get the following error:
OMB07003: cannot locate PM_MAKE_ITEM_LEVELS of type PLUGGABLE_MAPPING: OMB01065: Object type PLUGGABLE_MAPPING is not valid for folder DWH
I will be thankful for every hint!

How to map lookup main table field in another main table using MDM 7.1?

We created a new SAP MDM 7.1 repository with multiple main tables. The first main table is called ProductMaster table which contains Products information. The ProductCode is the primary key and the only display field for the table during data loading process. The second main table is ProductByRegion table which has a main table lookup field ProductCode and a RegionId field. These two fields (ProductCode and RegionId) combine as the PK for this main table. Both main tables have key mapping enabled.
I was able to load ProductMaster table using Import Manager. But Iu2019m having trouble to load data into ProductByRegion table using MDM Import Manager. Although I have met all the 5 requirements below (excerpted from MDM Import Manager Reference Guide P.222), the ProductCode wonu2019t show up on the destination value pane. If I mapped all productCode to NULL field, ProductCode wonu2019t load. If I u2018Addu2019 all ProductCode to Destination Value pane, the Import Manager added duplicated rows to Product Master table while only loading 1 record to ProductByRegion table. I canu2019t get ProductCode show up in Matching Destination Field list. When I checked ProductMaster records in MDM Data Manager, I right-clicked on one of records, chose Edit Key Mappings, it didnu2019t show anything. However, if I right-clicked on one of those duplicated rows, Edit Key Mapping shows remote system and key correctly.
Where did I do wrong? How can I fix the problem?

Mapping to Main Table Lookup Destination Fields
Import Manager handles main table lookup fields (Lookup [Main])
differently than other MDM lookup fields. Specifically, Import Manager
does not display the complete set of display field values of the records
of the underlying lookup table. Instead, the values it displays for a main
table lookup field are limited by both the key mappings for the lookup
table and the values in the source file.
Also, Import Manager does not automatically display the values of a
Lookup [Main] destination field in the Destination Values grid when you
select the field in the Destination Fields grid. Instead, for a main table
lookup field value to appear in the Destination Values grid, all of the
following conditions must be met:
u2022 The lookup table must have key mapping enabled
u2022 The lookup field must be mapped to a source field
u2022 The source field must contain key values for the lookup table
u2022 The destination value must have a key on the current remote system
u2022 The destination valueu2019s key must match a source field value
NOTE ►► The current remote system is the remote system that was

Thank you very much for your response. I'm new to SAP MDM, I need some clarification and help regarding your solution.
I did use two maps to load ProductMaster and ProductByRegion separately. Here were my steps:
1. create main table ProductMaster with key mapping enabled at the table level and set ProductCode as unique and writable once (primary key).
2. create a map to load ProductMaster record from a staging table located an oracle database. But Key mapping didn't show anything when I looked at them using Data Manager.
3. create main table ProductByRegion with a lookup field looking at ProductMaster table. This field and RegionId combines as a unique field for ProductByRegion table.
4. create a map to load ProductByRegion table. But ProductCode records only shows on the source pane not destination pane and can't be mapped properly.
My questions:
1. How can I "Ensure that you add key mapping info for all ProductMaster records" besides enabling Key Mapping on the table level?
2. How can I define a concatenation of ProductCode and RegionId as a REMOTE KEY"?

Bank account- This is the G/L account that you provide at the Housebank level configuration in FBZP.
Sub account - This is the G/L account which you provide in the Bank Determination level in FBZP
Now conceptually there are many transactions which need to be routed through clearing accounts. This is where the sub accounts come handy and are used for clearing purposes. they are open item managed accounts. So clearing is possible. In the end the main bank account tallies with your bank balance and moreover the clearing accounts become zero after all clearing has happened.
Moreover the best way to maintain the G/L in SAP would be
XXXX0 as the Main account
XXXX1 say outgoing checks
XXXX2 say outgoing wires

Ovi maps and Nokia Maps

I have recently downloaded the ovi maps update for free navigation on my 5800 however now I seem to have 2 programs in my installed apps menu, Ovi maps and Nokia maps. This is causing me some problems as my phones built in memory is now completely full and I am unable to do some things as I have ran out of on phone memory space. Which one is the main map software? And also can I uninstall one? If not then can it be installed on a MSD card and if yes how?

As far as I can determine Ovi maps is the mapping software (program) which installs to C (phone memory) and Nokia maps is the map data that you have loaded which I believe are installed to E (mass memory).
I can confirm that you do need both installed.
The problem as far as I can see is that the previous maps versions 3.01 is built into the current firmware (v20 for N97 - not sure for 5800) and installing maps 3.03 does not remove or overwrite the earlier version so you end up with both versions installed and thus the extra memory footprint.
This will remain a problem until a newer firmware is released which will hopefully have maps 3.03 (or later depending when next firmware is released) thus reducing the extra 9 megs or so used.

Value mapping in xslt mapping

Hi,
I have 2 mapping program one is main .xsl program and other one is value mapping program .xsl .
I have zipped both the program and imported into Imported archive in IR but while testing in interface mapping i am getting error.
error:could not compile xslt stylsheet.
Some of the interface having one .xsl program and value mapping is also defined in the main program itself,these interface i am able to execute successfully but unable to execute wherever there are 2 program (main prog + value mapping).
It seems that value mapping is not loading / executing.
Can anyone please guide me how to call value mapping using xslt mapping?

Yes i have 2 program and both needs to execute in one interface mapping.
First program (main) is MappingMOAPS_SAVEMULTIPLE2013.xsl and second program i.e (value mapping) MO_vmf.xsl.
From main program itself value mapping program is called.
Please look below code for main & value mapping prog.
In main prog this is the parameter (<xsl:import href="MO_vmf.xslt"/>) where value mapping prog name is mentioned.
I have already zipped and imported but while testing in interface mapping it is giving error that "could not compile xslt stylsheet".
Could you plaese tell how to check or make XSL to accommodate multiple mappings?

Using google map polygon without map

i use a polygon ( com.google.maps.overlays.Polygon) in a value object (fieldData) besides other data, later in the programm the polygons are displayed in a google map.

i instantiate the value objects on programm start and i get this error:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
     at com.google.maps.overlays::Polygon()
It seems like i get this error because there isnt a google map object existing at that time on programm start. so i changed my code to call this methode on programm start before creating my value_Objects:

it works! but i dont like the code, i dont need that map object at that time and not in the main component. so i made it invisible.... isnt there a better way to use polygons without having a map-object?

Google Map Integration with Map Viewer is not working

My MapViewer Version: Ver11_1_1_7_B130111
I have created a Google Map (with Type of Map Source as "Google Maps") in Oracle Map Viewer and i could see google map in Oracle Map Viewer(using "show Map").
I wanted to show a village map theme over the above google map in a web page and i am using Jdeveloper to integrate map viewer with Village data. I could see the google maps inside Jdeveloper however when i run the Jdeveloper code google map is not shown inside the web page.
I tried with Oracle Maps, Bing Maps as the "map source" in map viewer and tried integrating inside Jdeveloper and got same result (blank screen). However when i tried a different mapviewer ( Base Map ELOCATION.WORLD_MAP from OracleFMW MapViewer Home ) i could see the map in the web page.
I could get all other base maps (created with "internal" as the map source") in the web page, so there is some thing that i am missing with Google Maps, Bing Maps, Oracle Maps. Could you please help me what is that i am missing or point to a help resource?

If you want a line break between the three fields, then try
passing a,b,c to the udf and in the udf you would have

Graphical mapping is Java Mapping??

Someone told me that ABAP mapping is faster than Java mapping cause it runs on ABAP stack straight away, where as Java mapping runs on Java stack and then transfers the result to ABAP stack whic reduces effieciency. Does that mean me should prefer ABAP mapping over Graphical mapping as that is also java mapping in the background??

according to SAP, the graphical mapping (which generates java code) is the fastest mapping and hence the first choice. Personally I prefer XSLT even though it is said to be the slowest because of the way XSLT runs the mapping. However, I never experienced any problems but found it much easier to handle than the graphical mapping especially when the mapping gets a bit tricky and you have to work with many queues.
I doubt that the Abap is necessarily faster because it depends how you write your source code, whereas the graphical mapping is already optimized

We are implementing a project on XI.
We need to freeze on one mapping.
I feel ABAP Mapping provides the following advantages:
1.SXI_MAPPING_TEST is a very good transaction for debugging and testing mapping environment of XI.Iam not sure wether java mapping can be tested after deploying it on XI.
2.ABAP Mapping is well integrated with the XI and also version control becomes very easy as it is provided by the SAP transport system.
3.ABAP also provides user rich/simple API's as java.
4.Support of XI in ABAP would make sustanenace easy as it is going to be a more SAP product and ABAPers are more available in ERP background.

all of the step in the message flow after a message enter
the IS will be done by the abbap stack e.g. Receiver
determination, interface determination, ... The only one
step that is executed in J2EE-Stack is the mapping.
In the pipline the system jump from the abap stack to
Java stack to execute the mapping if the mapping is done
in Java (message mapping, java mapping, xslt,...).
But if the the mapping is done by abap the the runtime
has not to jump to the java stack to execute the mapping.
Because there is no java code to execute. To clarif: if
you have only abap-mapping the the compete process step
do not include the jump to the j2ee-stack of XI. So in
this case the abap mapping is more performant cause the
runtime stay in the abap stack through the complete
message processing.
But if you have mix mapping e.g. first step abap and
second step java then the j2ee-stack will be used as
well.

Here is a scenario where you might need to use both graphical and user defined functions.
source: <fname> <lname> <filename>
target: <name> <filetype>
Suppose, you need to concatenate fname and lname into the target <name> tag, you could use the normal graphical mapping using the concat function.

next, if we need to extract only the filetype from the filename, for example, if we have filename.txt... and we want only the value .txt, we need to write a user defined function which would achieve this for u, since there are no inbuilt function which can solve this for you in graphical mapping.
Further XSLT mapping comes into picture when we need to create the entire target xml structure. Again, graphical mapping would not be useful here.

Abap mapping and operation mapping param

I have a problem with retrive value of export parameter in operation mapping by abap mapping class.
standard parameter of abpa mapping class method that execute it contains param that ref to IF_MAPPING_PARAMETERS. So i belive by this class using method PARAMETERS->GET_STRING( 'P_IDOC_NR' ), but it dosen't works.

I have not seen anything in online help that gives the impression that you can use parameters in ABAP mapping.
So I suppose that this does not work at all.

Java mapping can be used when you have complex mapping structures.
We can do most of the times for our requirements through Graphical mapping.
When the structures are very complex to build you can go for SAX (Simple API for XML) or DOM (Document Object Model) parsers.
Message mapping internally generates DOM parser.

ABAP mappings run on ABAP Stack and are developed in the ABAP workbench of the Integration Server.
You normally do not need to use the ABAP mappings and is preferable for someone with ABAP programming background. I should say JAVA functions would suffice any complex scenarios.

You need to provide the name of your mapping program maually , you see it is an input box.
just provide the name of abap mapping program it will work.
and one more thing you cannot test abap mapping program in integration builer you need to test in abap only.
use tcode: SXI_MAPPING_TEST for testing abap mapping
