Syntax for HEADER BODY and FOOTER

Hi
My Header and Footer is bit complex, involves many fields and quite long so I have decided to code Header in main body area.
I guess I can do spmething like;
<?start:HEADER?>....<?end:header?>
<?start:BODy?>....<?end:BODY?>
<?start:FOOTER?>....<?end:FOOTER?>
Not sure this correct. Please can any one put me in right direction to achive this??
I would appreciate your help on this.

do the following anywhere in the body section of your template
<?template: Header?>
create your complex header here
<?end template?>
<?template: Footer?>
create your complex footer here
<?end template?>
Then in MS word, select the header section and put in the following syntax
<?Call: Header?>
similarly in the footer
<?Call: Footer?>
youre done! .. no need to use start body and end body tags..

You can create an nXSD using Native Format Builder and use lookAhead attribute to read values at specific position and use that as the choice. You can find an example here

Different links styles in body and footer?

Hello,
I want to set different links style for hyperlinks in footer than they are in body of the site. Is this even posible?
The problem is that body background is white, and footer background is dark brown. So there is no way that I can use the same links styles.
I know that there is "workaround" with linking text frames, but this is not what I want.

Need examples of using HEAD, BODY and TABLE options of SET MARKUP

Hi!
Looking for examples of using the HEAD, BODY and TABLE options of the SET MARKUP command in SQL*Plus. Will be used in 10.2.04 on Linux.
Have been trying to set up an "H1" header but not having any success. Documentation and examples in the documentation are not very helpful.

What is the SYNTAX for the user and group filters??? Is the HTML Ampersand token Amper A m p semicolon required in the filter

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion over the actual syntax for the user and group filters on the Forms Based Authentication Ldap Role and membership providers.. MSFT isn't really clear and there is a universal confusion in the blogsphere.
I the filters should the prefix be the ACTUAL Ampersand or the HTML token for an AMPERSAND.. I realize the in many cases the blogger might have inadvertently specified the html token when the bare naked ampersand was intended.. The question
therefore is : can a filter be taken directly from and ADSIEdit query and used as a filter or must the filter be made HTML safe by swapping out the AMERSAND with the HTML Token for AMERSAND before putting it into the configuration

How to hide header, body or footer section,,report 6i

Dear Guys ,,
How could I hide any of the header, body or footer sections in case one of them hasn't received any data ,,
since if one of them has no data to display,, it will show empty page !! ,, i dont want that empty page to be shown
is there any solution unless i put all my groups in just one section ??

How do I make the header, content, and footer transparent in Dreamweaver CS6?

I try setting background color to transparent but it just turns white instead. I want to be able to just see my background image and color and have all content "floating" on my web page.
Also on backgrounds, what is the coding for making sure the background is contained within whatever monitor size it is viewed within or will it automatically scale up/down?

I need to call specific header,line and footer based on condition

i am working on PO report and it has 3 PO_types. In my rtf i created 3 Header,3 Lines, 3 detials. And at a time only one Header, One line and one detail should call based on PO_TYPE.
Can any body guide me, to achieve this. Or is there any other way for it?

How to create procedure for header table and item table

Hi,
Can anyone help me to understand how to write SQLscript procedure for looping item table inside header table?
I fetch records from sales header table ( order number ) and using that order number to loop sales item table,thereafter I need to perform business logic.

This is my use case
1) Select fact records from tables (say A,B,C,D ) with suitable Joins and certain Where conditions
SELECT ordid FROM TABLES A,B,C,D on join condition where ....
2) Using above header records , I have to select each and every item level data from different tables ( say X,Y,Z ) and perform calculation to derive new columns to update a new table ( Zreport )
UPDATE TABLE ZREPORT
SET col1 = ( Select qty FROM TABLE X WHERE ordid = A.ordid
UPDATE TABLE ZREPORT
SET col2 = ( Select price FROM TABLE y WHERE ordid = B.ordid.
and so on for other columns..
3) Zreport table will be used for reporting.
I would like to know the best way to achieve this to gain performance.

Been a while since I look at this sort of thing, but from what I can remember, here goes:
When you specify an element name in your XML you are actually specifying some XPath. This means you need to use XPath syntax in your <?when....?> clause.
I think you would need to re-write your statements as follows:
<?choose:?>
<?when:(M=0 and N=1) or (M=1 and N=0)?>
<? end when?>
<?when:not(M=0 and N=1)?>
<?end when?>
<?otherwise:?>
<?end otherwise?>
<?end choose?>

XMLP562 - RTF templates - Header/Body/footer in separate files

Hi,
I'm faxing to that problem: we have many single page RTF documents (+1200). We are looking for a way to change all headers and footers as fast as possible (in few operations if possible). The header can "dynamically" changed.
So, I try a way to put the header, body and footer document in separate RTF files.
* The only solution I see is to convert the header/body/footer RTF files into XSL-fo files (with XMLP JAVA API) and merge the header, body and footer XSL files into a new one and then convert it to RTF document (with XMLP JAVA API).
What do you think? is it a good solution? how to deploy it on IAS server?
* Is there a way to use <?template:xxx?> syntax to define some "external" templates ?
If you can answer yes, how?

Print jTable with a header and footer panel

Hi Folks,
I'm currently at a sticking point in a project I'm playing around with. I have a data set of around 300 objects that i'd like printed out in a table. Now, I've gotten the display part down without a hitch but printing the data as well as a header panel and footer panel has been eluding me. I'd basically like something like this...
Name: some name Order date: some date
Address: some address Shipped To: some address
somewhere Some city, some state, etc
in some city
Date | Title | Etc | Etc | Etc
date1 title1 5 $3.00 $15.00
date1 title1 5 $3.00 $15.00
date2 title1 5 $3.00 $15.00

Total Items: 20

Am I barking up the wrong tree by making the first and third sections panels and the second section a table? If not, how the heck do I accomplish this? Most of the time the table has been multiple pages as well - I only need section one on the first page and section three on the last page, but whatever is easiest really.
My current approach has been basically to make a custom printables, print the first section, figure out how high it was, print the second section and hope for the best, but the third would never show up because it'd never go over two pages.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Table for PO header conditions and values

Hi All
My requirement is that I have to print all the PO header conditions and its values in PO.From which table I can get PO header conditions and its values.I know there is table KONH for header conditions but how do I fetch data from table KONH for header conditions and its values?? I mean what would be the input values or is there any other way for my requirement.

In my system certain condidtions such as freight,packaging charges etc can be entered both at the item level and header level and my requirement is that I have to print all the header conditions present in the PO and are having value.
From table KONV I get all the item conditions but my requirement is to print all PO header conditions iwth value???
How do I achieve this??

PO texts are stored in tables STXH and STXL.
TDOBJECT is EKKO for header texts and EKPO for item texts.
Just for future reference with regards to getting text id's etc.
eg: PO texts.
--> Go into the PO.
--> Go to the text tab (item or header - depends what u want).
--> Double click into the required text.
--> Click the "GO TO" menu option.
--> click Header.
and all the info you need is there.
You need to use function module READ_TEXT. Since lenght of text is variable it is stored in binary format and cannot be read via a table viewer.
