System Error cming while filtering the value

Hi Bw Expert,
I am facing one problem while doing the filter on a characterisitc in report.I am getting short dump on that.
Wheras when i am doing drill down on the characteristic then i am able to do the filter.
OPls help me.

you mean to say that when you filter on a characteristic on BeX , the session is terminated ?
Please send us the short text of the dump message , unless the dump reason is known , we would not know what it is that is causing the same.

I have a DLL made with LV 7.1 I run the dll using a C compiler and works great in WINXP, but cannot run in Win2K. Error is:
"System error 998 while loading the Labview Run-Time Engin(c:\program
files\National Instruments\Shared\Labview Run-Time\7.1\\lvrt.dll)
READVOLTAGE requires a version 7.1 (or compatible) Labview Runtime
Engine. Please contact the vendor of READVOLTAGE to correct this
problem"
READVOLTAGE is my function inside the dll. The runtime is already
installed. I tried it in another WINXP running machine and works fine.

This is actually a Microsoft bug with statically loaded DLLs. There are a couple of workarounds for it, and I have included two links below to posts that address this issue:

Bonjour Maxime, merci pour ta réponse qui est très intéressante. Le soft est en LV7.1.1 est fonctionne depuis plusieurs années. Le PC est chez un client, dans un pays très « hostile », je n’ai donc pas accès à ce dernier. Un superviseur local m’a fait le retour qu’après redémarrage du PC ce dernier indiquait un problème, avec photo pour descriptif. Je n’ai pas plus d’info pour le moment. Je viens donc de demander un CHKDSK c: /F

System Error 31 while loading the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine

I'm getting the following error message. I've attached a screen shot of it as well.
System Error 31 while loading the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine (<Pathstuff>\\lvrt.dll)
I'm trying to update an instrument running Windows95. What is system error 31? I can't find anything on it using Google or the forum's search function.
The instrument is a Romulus-IIIA from Quad Group. I'm pursuing assistance from them as well.

Error Thrown while assinging the value into OBJECT TYPE

i was create one Oracle OBJECT, that object contain only one variable, and i created one function which is return the object(system date), but while i complied that procedure i was thrown the error message like ORA-06530: Reference to uninitilized composite .

I am trying to use NI devices with Lazarus (there is no pascal section, so I post here).
When I try to run my application:

nidaqmxbaselv requires a version 2010 (or compatible) LabView run-time engine. Please contact the vendor of nidaqmxbaselv to correct this problem.“
I installed LabView run-time engine 2012, but I still get the same error.
Then I tried to install LabView run-time engine 2010- the same result.
I removed LabView run-time engine 2012- same result.
I tried to install LabView run-time engine 2010 again (since I did not see it in the add/remove list)- then I noticed, that the installer shows „A newer version is already installed".
What shall I do?

I created a empty win-32 console project and putted the ANSI C Example program: acquireNScans.c with the include file and lib file of nidaqmxbase in the same folder. I added this line on the top of the source code #pragma comment(lib,"nidaqmxbase.lib"), built without any error. When I tried to run it, I got this same message.
  I tried changing to shared dll mfc and delaying linking lvrt.dll, but did not work.

Workflow Activity "Lookup Value" returns An error occured while enumerating the filter using [//WorkflowData/customvalue]

I want to generate an Accountname using EmployeeID, FirstName and LastName via a workflow.
I'm using the Granfeldt Workflow Activity Library (https://fimactivitylibrary.codeplex.com/)
I'm using the FIM Powershell Workflow Activity (https://fimpowershellwf.codeplex.com/)
Steps:
Passing the EmployeeID, FirstName and LastName to the powershell Activity, generating a logonid based on logic.
Add-PSSnapin FIMAutomation
$EmployeeID = $fimwf.WorkflowDictionary.EmployeeID
$Forename = $fimwf.WorkflowDictionary.Firstname
$Lastname = $fimwf.WorkflowDictionary.Lastname

==> This works
Returning data back to the workflow via that powershell script:
$fimwf.WorkflowDictionary.Add('NewAccountName',$newlogonid)
==> This works
Using Lookup Value Activity to read the Workflow data and update the [//Target/AccountName] fails.
This gives an error:
An error occurred while enumerating the filter 'string' .
(where string is the actual generated userid that I've got back from the powershell script. Example dab2563)
I tried with only [//WorkflowData], then this gives the error:
Index was outside the bounds of the array.
Any hints to solve this?

The Lookup Activity is for looking up an object in the FIM Service. Seems like thats not what you're trying to accomplish.
For updating the target of the workflow, just use the built-in Function Evaluator. The Lookup WF was not built for that and it is failing because you have not specified a valid XPAth lookup filter, such as /Person[AccountName='BillG']

"An error occurred while creating the system proxy" after upgrade to 11.2

Hi, I have just moved from 11.1 release to 11.2 release but this fault is preventing me from using 11.2
If i try to access System Administration Panels like "Users" or "SMF Services" I get two error messages and can not proceed.
If I roll back to the previous BE, (11.1) it all works fine).
An error occurred while creating the system proxy
Navigation Failed. The first component of the address, "vp" is not a valid control.
The error is mentioned here https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg09791.html but I can not see the link content and it was a long time ago.
Not sure if it is relevant, but i am behing a pfsense/squid proxy - but have this server IP excluded/set to bypass the proxy.
Also, not sure if it is relevant but here is the output from the following:

Ensure that the "solaris-desktop" package group is correctly installed :

Error 8 while loading the data from the souce system

Every day we are loading some data from one of our souce systems through process chain
But today all the loads failed complaining about error 8 while extacting the data
connection to source system is fine
we have the problem while loading master data from the same source system
any solution?

Azure Sql DB Export to Storage Container fails with "An error occurred while sending the request"

I've built a new VM from which I'm running PowerShell scripts to backup my databases. It had worked before on an old server for several months, and worked once on the new server, then I upgraded my Azure PowerShell cmdlets, and haven't been able to
get it to work again. The new version is 0.8.10.1.
Below is my source code, with sensitive stuff replaced with ?'s. When I display the $stctx and $dbctx, they seem to have reasonable values. I added the IP address of the server as an exception to the db firewall, and I've installed SQL Server
Mangement Studio and verified that I can connect to the database. I have a feeling there's something simple I've overlooked.

Mentioned script, with appropriate values, works on my system.
I'm able to export an Azure SQL database to blob storage. Am using version 0.8.10.1 of cmdlets, so this the same version mentioned in this problem description.
Can you please try using Add-AzureAccount and check if that helps. This is indicated in a different third-party blog.

Does it work from a different machine with newly downloaded credentials.
Does it work for a newly created database (so minimal database size).
If above do not work, we may require additional details like RequestID, StorageAccountName, ServerName so an MS ticket may be more appropriate.

Receiving the error message while executing the Real Time DTP

I am receiving the error message while executing the Real time DTP for Billing data.
Error Message - Record filtered in advance as error records with the same key exist RSM2 722
When I check the logs below is the message I am able to see. Can someone suggest as how to proceed further.

The existing DTP requires a serialized update because fields are updated
non-commutatively during the processing run (for example, MOVE).
Therefore all new data records that have the same semantic key as
incorrect records that have not yet been corrected in earlier requests
or earlier data packages of the same request, are filtered out after the
extraction in a special step. In this way the system ensures that
incorrect data records are not repeated for your changes, which may not
contain errors themselves.

Dear all,
i am test the report to show "No Data Found" world, but, when i preview to PDF, i got the message :An error occurred while opening the file, you can not open this file because it does not page.
i try to load the other xml file that have data, and report work,no error.
i don't know where is the problem, so i need some help....

You mentioned you tried some steps but I'm not sure what they are, you may try my suggestion to resolve this issue, follow these steps:
Click Start, right-click Computer, click
Properties, and then click Advanced system settings.
On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
Locate and select the __COMPAT_LAYER variable, and then click Edit.
Set the value of the __COMPAT_LAYER variable to EnableThemes. Or, delete the __COMPAT_LAYER variable.
If the issue persists, we can troubleshoot this problem in Clean Boot to determine whether background programs are interfering with PowerPoint:

Backup Fail with Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error calling a routine on the Shadow Copy Provider, Event ID 12293, error returned while creating the volume shadow copy 0x8004230f,

We are using TINA backup solution and windows 2003 backup is failling with VSS error.
For testing purpose we initiate a system state backup (or any file backup) with the help of windows 2003 ntbackup.exe and found it is failing with below error.

Resolution:
After getting this error we check Shadow Copy provider and writer health and fond it is fine.
To get shadow copy providers details use below command.

Next I check Shadow Copies details from volume properties (right click on C or other drive then select properties then click on Shadow Copies Tab) and found it is showing the same error code..
From this error it is clear that the issue is inside the registry hive and due to junk hive shadow copies services not able to working properly.
For me the server have two disk we check disk signature at MBR and found the disk signature was.
Signature disk 0 : 9351912b
Signature disk 0 : FDFBE035
But at registry we found lot of nonexistance signature. Which indicate lot of junk valu inside registry.
Now how can we resolve this issue?
It is very simple just delete the registry key “volume” (registry key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\STORAGE\Volume”) and reboot the server it will “Volume” registry hive automatically.
Note:
When you remove registry key it is showing error unable to delete, then please right click on it select permission then take ownership and assign full permission to your login account.
Please be careful when you delete registry key because system can fully crashed if you delete or modify wrong registry key.
Your can take a backup of the registry key by exporting.
