System generic ID issue

Hi,
Can anyone please explain how userID switched in a data load?
I started a data load from ODS to a cube. There are some routines in the update rule. From the log, I can see my userID show up in the monitor/infopacakge. the load failed because a system generic ID is locked. as soon as it is unlocked, my load went through with no error.
Thanks for your help!

I filed a support ticket right after posting this and this was the reply:
"As Mario mentioned on the forum post there are times where mail servers are using temporary deferrals that can last anywhere from a couple of minutes up to several hours or even more.
An important role here Lynda is playing the from email address that you set up for your campaigns. Based on this each mail server will check to see if the sender is a legitimate one and act accordingly based on it.
Your domain has as SPF record defined to include _spf.google.com however looking at the DNS this SPF record is not a valid SPF record.
You should place the quotes only at the beginning and at the end of the record.
Also you need to include the IP 192.150.2.139 which is the IP from where we are sending out newsletters and system e-mail. This IP is for all sites hosted on the United Stated data center.
So Lynda you need to remove the SPF records that you have defined on your site and create a new one that has the following structure:
"v=spf1 mx ip4:192.150.2.0/24 include:_spf.google.com ~all"
Even though this will not fix entirely the issue here you will notice an improvement here. I've done some tests and for Yahoo and Gmail if the emails sent from your site is using the original email address I receive it in a couple of minutes. However using a proper from email address that has the SPF record set up the email will be receive in a couple of seconds. Now this depends a lot on how the mail servers are being set up Lynda (maybe where you are trying to receive emails the mail servers are having Greylisting enabled)."
After changing this information I have noticed improvments.

  • Not Updating Customized Table when System having Performance Issue

    Hi,
This is actually the same topic as "Not Updating Customized Table when System having Performance Issue" which is posted last December by Leonard Tan regarding the user exit EXIT_SAPLMBMB_001.
Recently we changed the program function module z_mm_save_hide_qty to update task. However this causes more data not updated. Hence we put back the old version (without the update task).  But now it is not working as it used to be (e.g. version 1 - 10 records not updated, version 2 with update task - 20 records not updated, back to version 1 - 20 records not updated).
I tried debugging the program, however whenever I debugged, there is nothing wrong and the data is updated correctly.
Please advise if anyone has any idea why is this happening. Many thanks.
    Regards,
    Janet

    Hi Janet,
you are right. This is a basic rule not to do any COMMIT or RFC calls in a user exit.
Have a look at SAP note 92550. Here they say that exit EXIT_SAPLMBMB_001 is called in the update routine MB_POST_DOCUMENT. And this routine is already called in UPDATE TASK from  FUNCTION 'MB_UPDATE_TASKS' IN UPDATE TASK.
SAP also tells us not to do any updates on SAP system tables like MBEW, MARD, MSEG.
Before the exit is called, now they call 'MB_DOCUMENT_BADI' with methods MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPDATE and MB_DOCUMENT_UPDATE. Possibly you have more success implementing the BADI.
I don't know your situation and goal so this is all I can tell you now.
    Good luck!
    Regards,
    Clemens

  • Generic Delta issue..

    hi experts,
i have created Datasource based on view which is based on EKPO and EKBE tables.
i have date fields BUDAT, CPUDT  and CPUTM.
I have selected CPUDT as Delta Field.
select Calendar Day and Safety Interval Upper Limit as 1.
I have initialized yesterday, though the records are created and i can see the new records with today's date, in RSA7 i cannot see any records.
what is the issue in it, do i need to change delta field as CPUTM as it is time.
if yes then how can i set the Delta to capture the Delta Records?
    regards
    venuscm

    Hi,
All three fields are from EKBE table, so kindly check whether there is any change in source system table EKBE, for these fileds for the new records created.
New record created will be updated in table EKPO and EKKO only.
Also make sure that delta field should be one of the extracted field in your generic extractor.
    wish u all the best
    Regards,
    Vinod

  • System copy --- Import issue in Import ABAP phase

HI Team, We are doing migration using system export/import method from win2008/SQL2008 to Win2012/SQL2012 . While doing export there was a problem with table  SOFFCONT1 , So we have followed the note 1922094  and changed the size of the package  from  1 GB to 2 GB  in SOFFCONT1.cmd , After this We have exported the data from the source system using SWPM tool. Now we are importing in to Target system , During the Import ABAP phase we are facing the below issue for same table SOFFCONT1 . Could you please tell us how to fix this issue . Do we need to do same activity for the table while importing also ? =============================================================== H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: START OF LOG: 20140712143736 H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: sccsid @(#) $Id: //bas/721_REL/src/R3ld/R3load/R3ldmain.c#8 $ SAP H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: version R7.20/V1.6 [UNICODE] Compiled Dec 4 2013 17:25:27 patchinfo (patches.h): (0.138) Abort R3load task if TOC file has not entry for the table (note 1914260) process id 11608 H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe -ctf I \\192.168.114.11 \y\Migration\Ghana_Migration_Ecc\\export\ABAP\DATA\SOFFCONT1.STR C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\BS2005\ERP60SR3 \LM\COPY\MSS\SYSTEM\CENTRAL\AS-ABAP\DDLMSS.TPL SOFFCONT1.TSK MSS -l SOFFCONT1.log H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: job completed H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: END OF LOG: 20140712143736 H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: START OF LOG: 20140712143736 H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: sccsid @(#) $Id: //bas/721_REL/src/R3ld/R3load/R3ldmain.c#8 $ SAP H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: version R7.20/V1.6 [UNICODE] Compiled Dec 4 2013 17:25:27 patchinfo (patches.h): (0.138) Abort R3load task if TOC file has not entry for the table (note 1914260) process id 10364 H:\usr\sap\\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe -i SOFFCONT1.cmd -dbcodepage 4103 -l SOFFCONT1.log -loadprocedure fast (DB) INFO: connected to DB (GSI) INFO: dbname = "GFGH-SAP- " (GSI) INFO: vname = "MSSQL " (GSI) INFO: hostname = "GFGH-SAP- " (GSI) INFO: sysname = "Windows NT" (GSI) INFO: nodename = "GFGH-SAP-" (GSI) INFO: release = "6.3" (GSI) INFO: version = "9600 " (GSI) INFO: machine = "6x AMD64 Level 21 (Mod 2 Step 0)" (SQL) INFO: Searching for SQL file SQLFiles.LST (SQL) INFO: SQLFiles.LST not found (SQL) INFO: Searching for SQL file \\192.168.114.11 \y\Migration\Ghana_Migration_Ecc\\export\ABAP\DB/SQLFiles.LST (SQL) INFO: \\192.168.114.11 \y\Migration\Ghana_Migration_Ecc\\export\ABAP\DB/SQLFiles.LST not found (SQL) INFO: Searching for SQL file APPL1.SQL (SQL) INFO: APPL1.SQL not found (SQL) INFO: Searching for SQL file \\192.168.114.11 \y\Migration\Ghana_Migration_Ecc\\export\ABAP\DB/MSS/APPL1.SQL (SQL) INFO: \\192.168.114.11 \y\Migration\Ghana_Migration_Ecc\\export\ABAP\DB/MSS/APPL1.SQL not found (DB) INFO: SOFFCONT1 created (DB) INFO: SOFFCONT1~0 created Interface access functions from dynamic library dbmssslib.dll loaded. I have no issue creating images from restore disk sets (that shipped with machines) or retail masters of various OS's. This issue seems to be related to the particular drives I am trying to create images from.
The drives that give me this error are hardwarily OK and the software works great. I can boot from these drives and have no issues with the machines imaged from them after the fact. I just want to Netboot off of these so I don't have to lug a million drives around...
    Any clue?

i know that was the case in Leopard and Snow Leopard but i just mounted a leopard image to create a new netrestore on my lion server.  i was not able to boot any of my images created on Leopard or SL when running Lion Server.  I assume i need to recreate the images on Lion.  Right now my Lion server is using a leopard image as the source to create a netrestore i can push on the Lion server.

Please sugegst how to reslove the error ,and a;lso please let me know is there any way to download latest pathces to dpownload from service market place .
    Advance Thanks

    Hi,
re-check if the 7.4 system is correctly registered in the solman SLD system.
Re-check LMDB definition for your 7.4 as JAVA system. you have to manually created the Product system. Ensure all the Component and definitions are correct.
Also do a verrification run within the LMDB. This will confirm whether all the information is correctly defined.
Please note - SLD -> LMDB -> SMSY.
So, if the first 2 don't have the correct information, you wont have much joy with smsy.

  • SharePoint Reporting Services Integration - System Settings Page Issue

    Hi All,
A client of mine has setup Reporting Services (SQL Server 2012 SP1) integration on a SharePoint 2010 environment and this has been working fine for a while now. This includes viewing SSRS reports and also creating PowerView reports from the SharePoint interface.
The only issue that we have is when we browse to the SQL Reporting Services service application via SharePoint Central Administration and select 'System Settings' we receive an error and can't configure any of the settings located on this page.
Looking at the ULS logs I can see the following error is raised:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.    at Microsoft.ReportingServices.SharePoint.SharedService.UI.ReportingServicesSystemSettings.InitStrings()     at Microsoft.ReportingServices.SharePoint.SharedService.UI.ReportingServicesSystemSettings.OnInit(EventArgs
    e)     at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer)     at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint)
    43aaadcd-fc67-420e-a30f-2e174f151084
I removed the existing service application and uninstalled the SharePoint Services (using Install-SPRSService). I then reconfigured the RS services and created a new service application but the error is still raised. All other pages under the service application
can be loaded. We also tried setting the reporting services diagnostic logs to verbose but couldn't see any further information.
Has anybody seen this before? I'm thinking that perhaps some of the configuration settings for this page actually carry a null value when it should be configured with something. Does anybody know where these settings are saved?
    Cheers,
    Tom

Just thought I'd provide an update, we ended up resolving this, problem was related to an incorrect ID one one of the fields in ReportingServicesSystemSettings.aspx.
Updating this to the correct ID resolved the issue. Weird thing was that the file was incorrect on more than one server, only had to obviously update it on the CA server though. After this the System Settings page opened without any problems.

  • Mutliple R/3 Systems connected to 1 APO System - Location CIFing issue

    Hi,
I have a situation like 2 R/3 systems(S1&S2) are connected to 1 APO system.  S1 is old system and S2 is new system, I am trying to connect with APO system.
    In Development environment:
I have IMs in S1 to APO system, to CIF the master/transactional data. Some of the master/transaction data will be CIFing from new R/3 system(S2). I set the deletion flag to LOCATION in APO and CIFed from new R/3 system, it worked fine. This is working fine in Development.
    In Test environment:
I have set the deletion flag to LOCATION and trying to CIF from new R/3 system. I am getting the following message
"Location 9999 of type 1002 (BSG BSG_TEST) already exists in APO".
I have verified the /SAPAPO/C1, /SAPAPO/C2 about the logical system and BSGs set up. It looks same as development. I also verified the the data in /SAPAPO/LOC, /SAPAPO/LOCMAP table for data. There is no record for location type 1002 and location 9999.
Any one has got this kind of issue? How did you resolve? Am I missing any config?
Thanks for your time and efforts in advance.
    Thanks,
    Sree

    Hi ,
Have you mapped both the R/3 instances to same BSG group in APO ?
    is it that location 9999 exists in both R/3 systems (S1 & S2) ?
in APO transaction /sapapo/loc3 just put this location number without the location type field and click on display. If the location is shown in APO , means that the location existis in APO and it is transferred as distribution center (loc type 1002).
Now you might be trying to send the same location as production location (loc typr 1001) , so it is conflicting with the exisiting definition.
Even though location is flagged for deletion for APO , you have run the report /SAPAPO/DELETE_LOCATIONS which can be scheduled as job in /sapapo/loc3 -
    > Extras -
    >Delete locations.

  • FlexUnit4.1 B2 upgrade breaks CI system - flexUnit.cfg issues?

    Folks,
We have a working CI system which is currently using binaries from FU4.0 development snapshots.  When we last checked the releases page, we saw that 4.0 stable was out, but so were 4.1 Beta 1 and 2.  Testers within the company were requesting 4.1 Beta 2, so I thought I would see if we could move our binaries directly to that level. I was able to try out the 4.1 B2 CI functionality on my Windows XP machine, after a few attempts... (I saw weird failures at first).  I had already installed Flash Player 10, and had made the file type assocation necessary for the Ant task to be able to invoke the player.  So, I figured that I could just replace the FU binaries to upgrade.  I did that, and my testbed went from working to broken. The failures seemed to point to the local trusted file not being available. I am not sure why that would have been a problem, but I kept trying different things hoping to get something to work.  I am not sure exactly how I got it working, but I recall copying the 4.1B2 binaries into place (replacing the older 4.0 dev snapshots), deleting the flexUnit.cfg file under C:\WINNT\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerTrust, and rebooting the machine.
I thought the weird issues I had seen were a fluke.I now do not think that is true...
After getting 4.1 B2 to work successfully on my WinXP desktop, I thought I would try it out on one of the production CI servers, which runs Windows Server 2008. I shutdown the system, replaced the binaries, restarted the machine, and I am seeing a similar problem.
Here is what I am observing - can someone please confirm these findings and explain why this is happening and how can I fix it (the machine reboot did not work on Server 2008)?
The Ant task times out waiting for the results: "The following error occurred while executing this line: :  java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: Socket timeout waiting for flexunit  report."
Apparently the local trust folder location where flexUnit.cfg is written has moved with 4.1 to a new location on the disk. It used to be here (WinXP):
        C:\WINNT\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerTrust\
    New location (WinXP):
         C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#Security\FlashPlayerTrust\
The locations on Win Server 2008 - old:
         C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerTrust\
    new:
         C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash  Player\#Security\FlashPlayerTrust\
I surmised this from the errors provided in the process log, and from watching where the flexUnit.cfg file was written to disk.  On my WinXP machine, flexUnit.cfg eventually started to get written to the new location where the new 4.1 B2 binaries expect it.  However on Win 2008, flexUnit.cfg is no longer being written to either the old or new locations!  I watched both folders while the ant process ran, and neither was updated.  Here is a snippet of the output (with FU 4.1 B2 binaries). Note the FileNotFoundException:

    @Brian,
My apologies for mixing up the revision strings previously. It was a long day. :-)
I updated to flexunit 4.1.0-beta2, and my problems with the flexUnit.cfg file went away. Hurray!
    Now I have another problem.
If I have the EITHER the CIListener or the FlexCoverListener added as listeners, my tests run to completion. If I have BOTH listeners configured, the flexunit runner hangs showing "Running tests..." and 0/100 progress. This happens whether or not I have the UIListener configured (do I need that any more? Looks like the flexunit player works regardless). This is via Ant from the command line in Cygwin.
Here's the flexunit ant task verbose output when it hangs:

  • Sony HTSS360 home theatre system & Apple TV issue

I picked up this system yesterday and connected the Apple TV via hdmi but got no audio or video. Does it matter what brand of hdmi cable? Are there cables that are copyright compliant and some that aren't? Is this the issue or something else?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.

  • Screen Saver System Preferences layout issue on Yosemite

    Hi,
After a clean install (first formatted and installed from a clean bootable USB-stick (so a really clean install)), the Screen Saver System Preferences shows a glitch after activating the Photos App (I think). I checked every step in the process and the glitch showed up after activating the Photos App.
When navigating to System Preferences and then to Desktop & Screen Saver, first it shows two columns of screen saver types (as it should be), but when the photos from the Photos App are loaded (in the background in the Desktop screen), the preview window with the selected screen saver stretches half a centimeter to the left, pushing one of the two columns away.
I have already tried reinstalling Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.3, deleting caches, removing screen saver config files (tip from Linc Davis), etc. The console does not show  useful information (for me).
In my case the issue shows up on my iMac (27-inch, Late 2012) and MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014). Only on the MacBook the two columns merge to one. One the iMac I only see a small stretch, but it does not cause the two columns to merge.
Please reply if the same issue occurs and if there is a known solution.
    Regards.

Hi Cameron I'm not going to be much help because I too have exactly the same problem with my machine - I have tried re-installing Leopard and that makes not one scrap of difference - I have cleared out all the rubbish on the machine - no difference - sent umpteen "reports" to Apple expecting some sort of response - after all the OS is the best thing since sliced bread so they can't have many reports to deal with - perhaps its us causing the problem.
    Regards Bob

  • System update configuration issue with local repository related to machine type

    Hi,
Sorry if the issue has been posted earlier, i tried searching but cudnt find relevant post. Here is my issue:
My machine is Thinkpad R52. Type as printed on label is: 1858-CLG
While adding machine type in update retriever, I added machine type as 1858 (as it doesnt accept 1858CLG). After connecting to the support site, it downloaded all required updates onto a local(shared) repository.
I installed system update, configured it to pickup update from local (network) repository in the registry.
Now when I launch system update, it determines my machine type as 1858CLG & it connects to local repository only to display message as "No updates were found for this machine type"
Though I cud see updates if I directly connect to help center.
I think the problem is with machine type identification, not sure though.
Please advice on what I'm doing wrong. Is it with update retriever configuration or system update configuration.
    Thanks much,

Solution for me was to change status of packages from "Test" to "Active" using Update Retriever.
Since this is not documented in Best Practices (but is stated in chapter 5 - modify settings) I spent several hours figuring it out..
