Hi,
We have a problem with table T006A entries. We need to change the data in this standard table. SE16N TCode is not in SRM.How to change the existing entries in the standard tables with transport request.

Hi,
Use below Procedure
1- GOTO>Tcode SM30>put the Table Name in the Table/View Field
2- Click on Customizing Button
3- Choose "Continue w/o specifying Project"
4- Click on "Check Units of Measurment".
Now You can maintain the UOM.
I think this will solve your problem

  • Problem while transport table entries (TFRM)

    Hi ,
An routine has been developed earlier, It has been release but not moved to Quality. In the same request there are another 3 or 4 tasks which i don't want to transport. So created a new request all the coding part is saved. But when i am trying to transport the table Entries of TFRM into a transport request i am getting an error as specified below.
Fill table key for table TFRM only up to position 007 only
So can any one help me out in resolving the issue.
    Thanks In Advance.
    Ramana

    Hi Soniya,
That is not the issue, when i create a Routine using VOFM transaction at the time of creation it self entries will be created in the table TFRM, but since the request has been release I need to go alternative way to transport the entries. So I am trying to transport the entries into a request.that time I am getting error.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Problem transporting table entries

    Hi,
I need to transport my table entries frm development to test and production. However, even if i us standard recording routine in the table maintenance and then create entries ant transport, it doesnt work.
Also, is there an option to do it directly from SE11? Do i need admin rights?
    Regards

    Hi,
Table entries can be included in a transport request and can be transported .
For including the table entries in a request,Follow the below mentioned procedure.
    Hi,
Table entries can be forcefully included in a transport request and can be transported to the required system.
For including the table entries in a request,Follow the below mentioned procedure.
but the data will be stored under workbench request
    1.create a workbunch request in se01.
2.Double click on the request no.
3.Select the object tab in the new screen appeared.
    4.Go for change mode (Ctrl+F1)
5.Select the Program id as R3TR and Object Type as TABU.
6.Give the Object name as Table name(ZTABLE)
7.Click on the function button on that row.
Give * in that editor appeared and save this.
Now all the table entries are binded in that request and can be transported across the server.
instead if you are putting on the user recordin on in TMG it will ask for a request each time you save some entries in the table.

  • Right way to preserve all parent table entries in a join with many tables!!

This problem is quite interesting to me. I have asked this question to others but no body is able to provide me with proper answers.
The problem is: How do I join a huge parent table with many child tables (more than 5 child tables) preserving all of the parent table entries. Lets say there is the parent table parentTable and three child tables childTable1, childTable2, childTable3. In order to get the data after joining these tables the query that I have been using was:
    select parent.field1, parent.field2, parent.field3, child1.field4, child1.field5, child2.field6, child3.field7 from ParentTable parent, childTable1 child1, childTable1 child2, childTable3 child3 where parent.fielda = child1.fieldb and parent.fieldc = child.fieldd and parent.fielde = child.fieldf.
Although the tables are huge (more than 100,000 entries), this query is very fast, however those parent table entries which do not have child entries are lost. I know that I can left join a parent table with a child table and then with the next child table and then with the next child table and continue. Isn't there a simple solution for this commonly happening problem?
    Please provide suggestions please...

    Hello Lakshmi,
Although I do not know exactly how to achieve what you want to achieve but I have seen DBAs/ABAPers in my experience can run queries/scripts using the COUNT function to give the actual number of line items per table for all your 100 or odd tables.

  • DEFTAX_ITEM table updation problem

    Dear All,
We are using SAP Ecc 6.0
We have configured service tax  through deferred tax codes.
Created Profit center wise Service TAx code and working Fine. Also we are executing S_AC0_52000644 - Deferred Tax Transfer  Procedure and working fine.
Now we have created one more Service TAx code (X9) and prepared Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, and Vendor Invoice .
Also made Advance Payment (DPR) using Purchase Order. All Tax calculation is correct every where.
But when i executed S_AC0_52000644 - Deferred Tax Transfer  , it shoes Message 'List contains no Data"
Then checked table DEFTAX_ITEM. So in this table entry was not available for all those document which contains New Service Tax code  X9.
All other entries are OK. Even we have made full payment also  against Vendor Invoice .
What and where can be a probelm . why it's not updating entries in table DEFTAX_ITEM.
Due to non existance of entries , could not executed procedure S_AC0_52000644 - Deferred Tax Transfer   for all documents which contains Service TAx code  X9.

  • Event trigger on transport of ABAP table entries

    Hi Experts,
I have an issue with respect to the scenario mentioned.
Scenario is that I have a Z-table in Dev which is maintained through SM30 once the data is saved ,the event"02 After saving the data in the database" ,I have linked a include program to this event which triggers a abap proxy to send data to SAP PI Java stack cache, this scenario is used in value mapping replication from Z-table.
The problem is the QA and PRD Client has status 'not modifiable'.
So can these Z-table entries when transported to QA or PRD ,trigger an event which can call my proxy program to send the full load to the SAP PI system.
    Thanks
    -Alok

Hi I can try to give the information for the z-table entries to be transported to QA or Prod environment?
Ans) Yes, we can transport these Z-table entries to the the QA and Prod system environment, but the z table 'devliery and maintenance" table defines the technical attributes for this Z-table.
in the delivery and maintenance tab, you can define the deliver class. Suppose if your delivery class type is C, G, E, S: The data records of the table are copied to the target client.
Hope this information can be useful.
    thanks

  • Transporting table entry with primary key 120 char

    Hi all,
I have 2 separate questions which I feel are closely related.
    In the url:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/cf/21eb6e446011d189700000e8322d00/content.htm
    It says:....
<i>If the key length is greater than 120, there are restrictions when transporting table entries. The key can only be specified up to a maximum of 120 places in a transport. If the key is larger than 120, table entries must be transported generically.</i>
<b>How do I transport the table entries "generically" for such a table?</b>
To further illustrate my actual problem:
My problem in the real world lies with the MIMETYPES table, maintained in trx SMW0.
I select the mime types row by row and do a <u>Table Entry > Transport Entries,</u> but get an error that says
<i>"Key entry for table MIMETYPES may only be generic"</i>.
As a result it fails to attach to my transport.
(Note: the primary key of MIMETYPES is 128 chars long)
The Diagnosis long text says "<i>The key is longer than allowed by the Change and Transport System (120 characters</i>)."
    The Procedure says:
<i>1.  Make sure that you only specify the character fields before the
first non-character key field. You must enter the key with a generic
ending. Enter the generic symbol directly after the specified part
        of the key.
    2.  You must enter the generic symbol at the latest in the 120th
        character of the key.                                              </i>
<b>What is this generic symbol that i need to insert at the 120th position??</b>

    Thanks Nick!
So the mysterious "generic character" is actually the asterisk (*). It works.
Strange tho as the error long text says to insert the "generic character" at the 120th character position of the key, but I found that altho I can save it, the transport still fails with the same error.
I tried placing the * right after the key value e.g.
    KEY123*
    and it worked.
    Thanks again!

  • SQL Developer 3.1.07 does not show a Tables entry under the Navigator

Installed SQL Developer 3.1.07. Under my Connections window, I log into the SYSTEM account. There is NO tables entry. SYSTEM has access to all tables in the database. It's the same behavior for other database users as well.
I re-installed SQL Developer 3.0.04 and a Tables entry DOES appear for the same SYSTEM user connected to the same database.

    Hi J,
I was under the impression that regardless of the Java version that my environment variables are setup to use,
the installation of SQL Developer (when you install with a JDK), that the JDK version installed with SQL Developer
is the one that is used.Exactly correct, unless you decide to override it in the conf file. I needed to be certain you did not.
Anyway, trying to resolve the problem, let's go back to a possibility that something went wrong with the migration of your preference settings. Here is an old thread discussing a missing Tables node in the Connection view (sometimes called the navigator tree):
Table node missing from navigator tree in 3.0.04
The poster had to rename the system directory containing these settings, then ignore the offer to migrate settings upon starting up SQL Developer again. If you never migrated settings in the first place, then I'm not sure what more to say -- probably would require additional research here in the forum. But if you did migrate settings, then try the following:
    1. Export your connections (Connections node | right-click | Export Connections...)
    2. Exit SQL Developer
    3. Rename the directory to something else
    4. Restart SQL Developer
    5. Import your connections
That directory on my Windows 7 machine for the current production release is something like:
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SQL Developer\system3.1.07.42
    Hope this helps,
    Gary

  • Transport table entries

    Hi,
this one should be easy to solve.
We have a user-defined customizing table with maintenance view. In maintenance view we defined no, or user, recording routine so that users can do adjustments without transport.
For the initial distribution to a couple of systems we want to have the table entries in a transport. If I use the transport button in initial screen of SM30, message SV142 says Transport is not possible for the specified data. In maintenance, all transport-related functions are disabled.
What are the necessary steps to include the table contents into a transport?
    TIA,
    Regards,
    Clemens

    Clemens,
"no, or user, recording routine" ==> as far as I know, this prevents the transport request, you have to choose the other option (standard...), than SAP will prompt for transport request at the time of saving the entries (anyway, I will check tomorrow in the office)
one more thing: "For table key, enter * to transport all records." I think you have to add the client number at least, to avoid problems (if oyu have more clients and data is maintained in more clients on this machine)
    ec
UPDATE : yes, it is because of the no, or user, recording routine ==> this prevents any automatic transport request creation.

  • How to delete table entries with SE16 in debugging mode?

We are trying to delete some table entries which cause our InfoPackage short dumps in BW system.  The problem is that we can only see the Display menu item with SE16 and the Delete menu item is dimmed that we are unable to conduct the deletion.  SAP Support suggest to use debug with SE16 to do the deletion, but we can't figure out how!
    Anyone's idea is greatly appreciated!

Then you are not at the right place.   Lets start at the begining.
    Go to SE16.
    Enter table name.
    Hit F7.
    Enter selection criteria.
    hit F8.
Double click the specific record that you want to delete.
In the transaction code field at the top, enter  "/H" and hit enter.  Debug is switch on.
    Now hit enter again.
You should now be in debug and you should see this code..
form set_status_val tables ntab structure x031l
                        using code name next for_lines.
      field-symbols: <field>.
    refresh exclude_tab.
      if code = 'SHOW'.
set titlebar 'TAB' with name 'anzeigen'(100).
      elseif code = 'EDIT'.
set titlebar 'TAB' with name 'ändern'(101).
      elseif code = 'INSR'.
set titlebar 'TAB' with name 'einfügen'(102).
      elseif code = 'ANVO'.
set titlebar 'TAB' with name 'einfügen'(102).
      elseif code = 'DELE'.
set titlebar 'TAB' with name 'löschen'(103).
Notice that there is a field called CODE in the IF statement.
Now enter the word "CODE" in the field names list,  change the value to DELE and click the pencil.  Hit F8.  Now you can delete the entry.

  • Can't display COPA datasource...message table entry doesn't exist

    Hi,
I am trying to display my COPA datasource and it's giving me a message stating it can't because a table entry is missing.  In debugging I can see the table entry it's reading is tkebwlgn.
I've tried everything, but cannot display/delete this.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

I resolved this by executing RSA6 and making a "change" by selecting a field as selectible and saving.  Then went back in and unchecked it and saved it.
The table entry then appeared and the datasource could be viewed.
Just in case someone else comes across this problem.

  • BPMON - Table Entry Counter - time setup

    Hi,
In Table Entry Counter monitor there is a possibility to restrict selection by date for example $TODAY or $TODAY-2.
Is there any possibility to do the same with hour, so it looks at the data only from the last hour in the table (table field is in the hh:mm:ss format).
We need to monitor failed faxes of particular type and we created a view that combines relevant tables that we want to monitor. However if the fax failed once, even after resending it succesfully, error stays in the table. Therefore if one fax failed on particular day and has been resent, information about error is still generated and monitor is useless... Any ideas how to restrict that selection and avoiding ABAP coding?
    Thanks in advance for help.

    Hi Volker,
Thanks for reply, I already learned from Johannes Fleig that there is no possibility of setting something like a $TIME parameter (just if anyone else would like this information as well).
What we need (hopefully also other customers) is to monitor status of sent faxes (not NAST).
Those faxes need to have specific Subject (Doc. Title) for example "PO:123456789", we also send other documents via fax, but their failure is not of high importance to the business, therefore we can't use standard CCMS monitor as it counts all the failed transmissions.
So far we created a view with two tables: SOST and SOOD to have information both about status and doc title, so our BPMON monitor is selecting entries from this view with Doc Title - "PO:*" in status "E" (error) from $TODAY. That gives all the failed purchase orders from current day.
The problem is that even resent fax stores the information in SOST about the error (probably for logging sake) and this way even after successful resent, alert is still there until midnight. That's why I asked for a possibility of time limit, to create some kind of primitive delta monitoring.
    Hope this information is sufficient
